Fabrication of FBAR (SMR) using Reflector (반사층을 이용한 FBAR(SMR)의 제조)

  • An FBAR(Solidly Mounted Resonator) was fabricated using reflector layers which prohibit the penetration of bulk acoustic wave into substrate. The SMR consisted of top and bottom electrodes(Al films), a piezoelectric layer (ZnO film), reflector layers(W/$Si_2$ films) and Si substrate. The electrodes were deposited by dc sputtering. The piezoelectric layer and the reflector layers were deposited by rf magnetron sputtering. The control of crystallinity, microstructures and electric properties of each layer was essential for attaining the optimum FBAR characteristics. Under the best deposition conditions for FBAR devices, the ZnO films had highly c-axis preferred orientation(${\sigma}=2.17^{\circ}$), resistivity of $10^4\;{\omega}cm$, and surface roughness of 10.6 ${\AA}$. On the other hand, the surface roughness of W and $Si_2$ films was 16 ${\AA}$ and 33 ${\AA}$, respectively, and the resistivity of Al film was $5.1{\times}10^{-6}\;{\Omega}cm$. The SMR devices were fabricated by the conventional semiconductor processes. In the resonance conditions of the SMR, the series resonance frequency (fs) and the parallel resonance frequency(fp) were 1.244 GHz and 1.251 GHz, respectively and the quality factor(Q) was 1200.

The Effect of Oral Rinsing Solution on the Color Stability, Surface Microhardness and Surface Roughness Change of Composite Resin (구강양치용액이 복합레진의 색조 안정성과 표면미세경도 및 표면조도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to evaluate the effects of oral rinsing solution on the color stability, surface microhardness and surface roughness change of composite resin. In this in-vitro study, 80 disc-shaped specimens were fabricated of Filtek P60 and Filtek Z250(A2 shade). The samples of each group were randomly divided into eight subgroups (n=10). The baseline color values ($L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$) of each specimen were measured according to CIE LAB system using a colorimeter. After baseline color measurements, the control samples were immersed in distilled water and the test groups were immersed colorless, green and purple mouthrinses three times a day for thirty minutes. This process was repeated for two weeks. Green and purple oral rinsing solutions displayed color, microhardness and roughness change of all composite resin after immersion in the mouthrinses. Therefore, prescription of oral rinsing solution for a minimum of two weeks is a common practice, which may cause discoloration of aesthetic composite restorations of patients.

Surface Patterning and Characterization of Food Packaging Films Using Femtosecond Laser (펨토초 레이저를 이용한 식품포장 필름의 표면 패터닝 및 특성)

  • In this study, the feasibility of laser patterning on the surface of food packaging polymer film was confirmed, and the surface patterning process conditions of femtosecond laser were established. In addition, it was proved that the surface properties of the film can be changed and controlled through the fabrication of various patterned films on the surface of food packaging films such as HDPE, PP, and PET. Various patterned surfaces, including large-scale circular patterns induced by a single femtosecond laser pulse, roughness patterns achieved by overlapping single pulses by 30%, straight line patterns, roughness patterns obtained by overlapping straight line patterns, and grid patterns formed by intersecting straight line patterns were fabricated. The characteristics of the patterned HDPE, PP, and PET films, based on the surface pattern structure and size, were analyzed using SEM, AFM, and contact angle measurements. Compared to the surface of each control film without femtosecond laser patterning, the contact angles of the surfaces of large-area circular patterning HDPE and PP films, large-area roughness patterning HDPE and PP films by overlapping 30% of single pulses, and large-area roughness patterning PET film by overlapping rectilinear patterning were in the range of 27.1-37.5 degree. This indicated that the HDPE, PP, and PET films became more hydrophilic after patterning. On the other hand, the HDPE film patterned with a large-scale grid pattern exhibited a contact angle of 120.4 degree, indicating that the HDPE film became more hydrophobic after patterning. Therefore, films that have been changed to hydrophilic surfaces through patterning can be used in anti-fouling applications where proteins, cells, viruses, and other food materials do not adhere or are easily detached. In addition, if a superhydrophobic surface of 150 degrees or more is fabricated through more precise lattice patterning in the future, it will be possible to use it for superhydrophobic surface applications such as self-cleaning.

Flatness of a SOB SOI Substrate Fabricated by Electrochemical Etch-stop (전기화학적 식각정지에 의해 제조된 SDB SOI기판의 평탄도)

  • This paper describes on the fabrication of a SOI substrate by SDB technology and electrochemical etch-stop. The surface of the thinned SDB SOI substrate is more uniform than that of grinding or polishing by mechanical method, and this process was found to be very accurate method for SOI thickness control. During electrochemical etch-stop, leakage current versus voltage curves were measured for analysis of the open current potential (OCP) point, the passivation potential (PP) point and anodic passivation potential. The surface roughness and the controlled thickness selectivity of the fabricated a SDB SOI substrate were evaluated by using AFM and SEM, respectively.

  • 제품 발생 소음의 음질 (sound qualify)에 대한 관심이 높아지면서, 음질 제어가 제품 경쟁력 향상에 중요한 고려 요소가 되었다. 이러한 음질에 대한 객관적인 분석을 위하여 다수의 상용 프로그램이 개발되고 있지만 라우드니스 (loudness)를 제외한 음질인자 (sound quality metrics)들은 아직 표준화 작업이 이루어지지 않았기 때문에 프로그램에 따라 차이가 발생하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 음질 분석을 위한 4 개의 상용 프로그램을 이용하여 일정 신호의 라우드니스, 샤프니스 (sharpness), 러프니스(roughness), 변동강도 (fluctuation strength)를 계산하고, 그 결과를 비교, 분석하였고, 이미 표준화 된 라우드니스를 포함한 음질인자들의 계산 결과는 프로그램에 따라 무시할 수 없는 차이가 나타남을 확인하였다. 이는 제품의 음질 평가 시 사용된 분석 프로그램 따라 그 결과가 다를 수 있음을 의미한다. 본 연구를 통해서 얻은 결과는 향후 음질 인자의 표준화 및 음질 지수 개발에 중요한 자료로 사용 될 수 있다.

  • Traditional bound abrasive grinding leaves the machine marks and subsurface damages ranging from 1 to few tens microns ms in height. These are removed typically by subsequent craftmen-based loose abrasive lapping, polishing and figuring. Using the multi-variable regression technique, we established a new automated grinding process control method for the removal of loose abrasive lapping from the traditional fabrication process.   • An universal NURBS interpolation for an open architectured CNC controller is proposed in order to unify internal data structure and algorithm of different interpolations such as linear, circular and spline, and to intelligently interface CAD database of the various workpiece contour. Furthermore, NURBS interpolation may result in better surface roughness and high speed machining due to the continuous generation of cutter movement. The mathematical manipulation of NURBS is presented and the practical implementation on the CNC controller of a lathe is discussed for real machining. The comparison between a computer design and workpieces machined on a lathe shows the feasibility of the NURBS interpolation format as an universal interpolation scheme.

Because of the high speed and high feed rate, high-speed machining can give great advantages for the machining of dies and molds. This paper describes on the improvement of machining accuracy in high-speed machining. Depth of cut and feed rate are control factors. The effect of the control factors on machining accuracy is investigated using two-way factorial design.

  • This paper describes a gait algorithm and a velocity limitation method for a Leg-Wheel Robot. The gait algorithm enables the robot to preserve continuous locomotion even if the velocity command varies extensively. The velocity limitation method restricts the commanded velocity when it exceeds the mechanical limitation of the robot. Combined use of the velocity limitation method with the gait algorithm ensures the continuity of locomotion, and makes the gait pattern efficient with a long step length and low frequency of leg phase change. These methods can be applied to locomotion on unexplored rough terrain even if the range of roughness is unknown.
