The oyster mushroom cultivation house typically has multiple layers of growing shelves that cause the disturbance of air circulation inside the mushroom house. Due to this instability in the internal environment, growth distinction occurs according to the area of the growing shelves. It is known that minimal air circulation around the mushroom cap facilitates the metabolism of mushrooms and improves their quality. For the purpose of this study, a CFD analysis FLUENT R16 has been carried out to improve the internal environment uniformity of the oyster mushroom cultivation house. It is found that installing a section of the working passage towards the ceiling is to maintain the internal environment uniformity of the oyster mushroom cultivation house. When all the environment control equipment - including a unit cooler, an inlet fan, an outlet fan, an air circulation fan, and a humidifier - were operated simultaneously, the reported Root Mean Square (RMS) valuation the growing shelves were as follows: velocity 23.86%, temperature 6.08%, and humidity 2.72%. However, when only a unit cooler and an air circulation fan operated, improved RMS values on the growing shelves were reported as follows: velocity 23.54%, temperature 0.51%, and humidity 0.41%. Therefore, in order to maintain the internal environment uniformity of the mushroom cultivation house, it is essential to reduce the overall operating time of the inlet fan, outlet fan, and humidifier, while simultaneously appropriately manage the internal environment by using a unit cooler and an air circulation fan.

Recently there are many long span cable supported bridges like Cable Stayed Bridge and Suspension Bridge already constructed or planned. Reconsidering of proper design wind load of long span bridge is required since the meteorological value based on the data only from 1960s to 1995 has been used when we estimate the wind load for designing long span bridges. In this paper, the research area was confined to western and southern coasts where many long span bridges have constructed. The method of moment and the least-squares method were used to estimate the expected wind speeds of 100 year's return period for girder bridges and for 200 year's return period for long span bridges based on the Gumbel's distribution. As the return-period wind speed on the land face was revised because of recent high speed velocity, the revised return-period wind speed is increased by 17%. Compatibility of return-period wind speed was also evaluated using RMS (Root Mean Square) error method. Aa a result of this paper, the least-squares method is more compatible than the method of moment in the case of western and southern coasts in Korea.
This study utilises repeated numerical tests to understand the effects of variable near-surface conditions on time-lapse seismic surveys. The numerical tests were aimed at reproducing the significant scattering observed in field experiments conducted at the Naylor site in the Otway Basin for the purpose of $CO_2$ sequestration. In particular, the variation of elastic properties of both the top soil and the deeper rugose clay/limestone interface as a function of varying water saturation were investigated. Such tests simulate the measurements conducted in dry and wet seasons and to evaluate the contribution of these seasonal variations to seismic measurements in terms of non-repeatability. Full elastic pre-stack modelling experiments were carried out to quantify these effects and evaluate their individual contributions. The results show that the relatively simple scattering effects of the corrugated near-surface clay/limestone interface can have a profound effect on time-lapse surveys. The experiments also show that the changes in top soil saturation could potentially affect seismic signature even more than the corrugated deeper surface. Overall agreement between numerically predicted and in situ measured normalised root-mean-square (NRMS) differences between repeated (time-lapse) 2D seismic surveys warrant further investigation. Future field studies will include in situ measurements of the elastic properties of the weathered zone through the use of 'micro Vertical Seismic Profiling (VSP)' arrays and very dense refraction surveys. The results of this work may impact on other areas not associated with $CO_2$ sequestration, such as imaging oil production over areas where producing fields suffer from a karstic topography, such as in the Middle East and Australia.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to analyze the mechanical and leaf speed accuracy of the dynamic multileaf collimator (DMLC) and determine the appropriate period of quality assurance (QA). Materials and Methods : The quality assurance of the DMLC equipped with Millennium 120 leaves has been performed total 92 times from January 2012 to June 2014. The the accuracy of leaf position and isocenter coincidence for MLC were checked using the graph paper and Gafchromic EBT film, respectively. The stability of leaf speed was verified using a test file requiring the leaves to reach maximum leaf speed during the gantry rotation. At the end of every leaf speed QA, dynamic dynalog files created by MLC controller were analyzed using dynalog file viewer software. This file concludes the information about the planned versus actual position for all leaves and provides error RMS (root-mean square) for individual leaf deviations and error histogram for all leaf deviations. In this study, the data obtained from the leaf speed QA were used to screen the performance degradation of leaf speed and determine the need for motor replacement. Results : The leaf position accuracy and isocenteric coincidence of MLC was observed within a tolerance range recommanded from TG-142 reports. Total number of motor replacement were 56 motors over whole QA period. For all motors replaced from QA, gradually increased patterns of error RMS values were much more than suddenly increased patterns of error RMS values. Average error RMS values of gradually and suddenly increased patterns were 0.298 cm and 0.273 cm, respectively. However, The average error RMS values were within 0.35 cm recommended by the vendor, motors were replaced according to the criteria of no counts with misplacement > 1 cm. On average, motor replacement for gradually increased patterns of error RMS values 22 days. 28 motors were replaced regardless of the leaf speed QA. Conclusion : This study performed the periodic MLC QA for analyzing the mechanical and leaf speed accuracy of the dynamic multileaf collimator (DMLC). The leaf position accuracy and isocenteric coincidence showed whthin of MLC evaluation is observed within the tolerance value recommanded by TG-142 report. Based on the result obtained from leaf speed QA, we have concluded that QA protocol of leaf speed for DMLC was performed at least bimonthly in order to screen the performance of leaf speed. The periodic QA protocol can help to ensure for delivering accurate IMRT treatment to patients maintaining the performance of leaf speed.

Objective: To assess the correlation between surface electromyography (SEMG) and conventional EMG in patients with facial nerve palsy. Additionally, compare the discomfort and the time required by the patients in two methods. Method: 36 patients with facial palsy were given nerve conduction studies (NCS) via conventional EMG. Then, the peak root mean square (RMS) values were obtained from the SEMG. We also recorded visual analogue scale (VAS), House-Brackmann scale, and the time required for the examination. Results: Pearson's correlation coefficient between the amplitude loss ratio of the RMS values obtained by SEMG compared to the unaffected side (RSEMG) and the amplitude loss ratio of CMAP amplitudes compared to the unaffected side (RCMAP) was 0.567 at the frontalis, 0.456 at the orbicularis oculi, 0.393 at the nasalis, and 0.437 at the orbicularis oris. An increase in RSEMG is positively correlated with an increase in RCMAP. The mean VAS score with conventional EMG was $3.55{\pm}1.42$, whereas that experienced when using SEMG was $0.11{\pm}0.52$ and the mean time required for conventional EMG was $610{\pm}103.84$ seconds, while that required for SEMG was $420{\pm}86.32$ seconds. Conclusion: This study demonstrated a significant positive correlation between facial muscle activities as measured by SEMG and conventional EMG in patients with facial nerve palsy. SEMG has the benefits of being more comfortable and faster when diagnosing facial palsy.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate of various material of pillows by using biomechanical variables such as the cervical stability, head pressure distribution, and muscle activity. Method: Eight subjects participated in the experiment. Three different materials such as polyester sponge, memory foam and the buckwheat shell used for Korean traditional pillow were tested. Electro-goniometer, six channels of electromyography(EMG), ten channels of the head pressure sensors were used to measure the biomechanical responses. Surface electrodes were attached to the right/left semispinals capitis(RSC, LSC), the right/left sternocleidomastoid(RSM, LSM), the right/left upper trapezius(RUT, LUT). The cervical stability was evaluated by the angle deviated from the standing neck position. The head pressure distribution was evaluated by the pressure per unit area recorded on the sensors and the intensity of peak pressure. Electromyography(EMG) data were analyzed by using root mean square(RMS) and mean power frequency(MPF). Results: The buckwheat shell material showed a higher stability in the cervical spine then the other pillows during spine position. In terms of head pressure distribution, the memory form indicated the lowest pressure at supine position, buckwheat shell material indicated the lowest pressure during lying down to side, and polyester cushion recorded the highest pressure at all postures. Conclusion: The buckwheat shell material has a biomechanical advantage to maintain a healthy neck angle and reduce the pressure on the head, which means the buckwheat shell is a potential material for ergonomic pillow design. The pillow with memory form showed second best biomechanical performance in this study. Application: The shape of the buckwheat shell pillow and the characteristics of materials can be used to design the pillow preventing neck pain and cervical disk problems.
Objectives : Through spectral analysis of heart rate variability(HRV) to study autonomic nervous system dysfunction of Hwabyung, culture related disease in Korea. Methods : HRV of 18 patients diagnosed as Hwabyung was measured against 13 healthy controls. HRV was measured by SA-2000p(Mediocre, Korea) for five minutes after 5 minutes resting. Results : 1. In time domain analysis, mean pulse rate(PRT) of in Hwabyung group was significantly higher than healthy controls. Standard deviation of all normal P-P intervals(SDNN), the square root of the mean of the sum of the squares of differences between adjacent normal P-P intervals(RMS-SD) in Hwabyung group was lower than healthy controls, but not significant. 2. As for frequency domain analysis, In TP(logarithmic total power), In VLF(logarithmic very low frequency), and In LF(logarithmic low frequency )in Hwabyung group was significantly lower than healthy controls. Ln HF(logarithmic high frequency), LF/HF ratio in Hwabyung group was also lower but not significant. Conclusions : This study suggests tile activity and imbalance of cardiac autonomous nervous system in Hwabyung patient is significantly lower than healthy individuals.
The aim of this study is to identify the appropriate movement for maintaining postural balance during Front Kick and Turning Side Kick motions. To do so, ten Taekwondo athletes: five skilled players(S, body mass: $65.0{\pm}5.8kg$, height: $172.3{\pm}3.7cm$, age: $20.0{\pm}1.2yrs$, career: $9.0{\pm}1.9yrs$) and five less-skilled players(LS, body mass: $67.1{\pm}5.5kg$, height: $173.2{\pm}5.1cm$, age: $19.4{\pm}1.7yrs$, career: $9.6{\pm}1.7yrs$) participated in this study. A three-dimensional motion analysis was performed on the participants using eight infrared cameras and two force plate(sampling frequency of 200 Hz and 2000 Hz for S and LS players, respectively). The participants' motions were divided into: a front-kick phase(P1) and a turning-side-kick phase(P2). For P2(p<.05), the range and root mean square(RMS) of the ground reaction torque and the M-L mean velocity of COP were greater for LS than for S; similarly, for P2(p<.05), the M-L range, A-P range, and velocity of the COP were greater for LS than for S. Further, the M-L range and maximum velocity of the COP was greater for failure than for success(p<.05). The femoral biceps muscle for bending the knee joint was significantly stronger in S than in LS(p<.05). It is expected that these results will be useful in developing a training program for improving the balance and stability of Taekwondo poomsae athletes and improve their front-kick and turning-side-kick motions.

The effect of slurry composition and wafer flatness on a material removal rate (MRR) and resulting surface roughness which are evaluation parameters to determine the CMP characteristics of the on-axis 6H-SiC substrate were systematically investigated. 2-inch SiC wafers were fabricated from the ingot grown by a conventional physical vapor transport (PVT) method were used for this study. The SiC substrate after the CMP process using slurry added oxidizers into slurry consisted of KOH-based colloidal silica and nano-size diamond particle exhibited the significant MRR value and a fine surface without any surface damages. SiC wafers with high bow value after the CMP process exhibited large variation in surface roughness value compared to wafer with low bow value. The CMPprocessed SiC wafer having a low bow value of 1im was observed to result in the Root-mean-square height (RMS) value of 2.747 A and the mean height (Ra) value of 2.147 A.

Recently, many technologies have been developed in order to satisfy stringent emission regulations. However, in the case of diesel engines, the stringent emission regulations with respect to NOx and PM have not yet been satisfied. A dramatic reduction in the NOx and PM emissions could be achieved by using after-treatment systems such as lean NOx trap (LNT) and urea-SCR systems. However, the high temperature in the exhaust pipe affects the spray behavior of the secondary injector, which is used for supplying the Urea-SCR. Because of this high temperature, it is difficult to achieve uniform distribution of the reducing agent in the manifold. In this paper, the characteristics of a urea-SCR injector used for injecting in the exhaust pipe are presented. The purpose of this study was to investigate the spray characteristics of the injector, such as the spray angle, injection quantity, and SMD. In addition, laser diagnostics and high-speed-camera images were used to analyze the injector spray characteristics and to present a distribution of reduction in the transparent manifold.
