  • The current model based sensorless method has many benefits that it can be robust control for large load torque. However, this method should determine a coefficient of back electro motive force(back-emf). This coefficient is varied by load torque and speed. Also, the coefficient determining equation is not exist, so it is determined only by experiment. On the other hands, using only back-emf estimatior method can not drive in low speed area and it has weakness in load variation. For these problems, this paper suggests the hybrid sensorless method that mixes the back-emf estimator regarding saliency and the current based sensorless model. This estimator offers not only non-necessary coefficient for current sensorless model, but also wide speed area operating in no specific transition method.

  • 2DOF is applied to induction moor in order to supply these weak points of PI speed control method in this paper. and proposed method utilize the combination of the voltage model based on stator equivalent model and the current model based on rotor equivalent model, which enables stable estimation of rotor flux. And it also emphasizes the improvement of the control characteristics in low speed region where established schemes have many problems. To prove the propriety of this paper, the various simulations carried out adequacy and stability using Matlab, and at the same time real system is made, so it is proved. As the results of embodying the system, the robust system is realized.

Series tuned mass dampers in train-induced vibration control of railway bridges

  • This paper presents the series multiple tuned mass dampers (STMDs) to suppress the resonant vibrations of railway bridges under the passage of high-speed trains (HSTs). A STMD device consisting of two spring-mass-damper units connected each other in series is installed on the bridge. In solution, bridge is modeled as a simply-supported Euler-Bernoulli beam with constant cross-section, and vehicle is simulated as a series of moving forces with constant speed. By the assumed mode method, the governing equations of motion of the beam-TMD device coupled system traversed by a moving train are obtained. The optimum values for the parameters of the STMD device are obtained for the criterion based on the minimization of the maximum dynamic displacement of the beam at its midspan. Single TMD and multiple TMDs in parallel are also considered for demonstration of the STMD device's performance. The results show that STMDs are effective in bridge vibration suppression and robust to parameters' change in the main system and the absorber itself.

  • This paper describes a new approach to estimating permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) speed and position from measured terminal voltages and currents for speed-sensorless vector control. The proposed system is based on observing the instantaneous reactive power of the motor. The described technique is very simple and robust to variations of motor parameters. The new approach is not dependent upon the value of the stator resistance. Also, MRAS schemes are chosen for determining the adaptive law for the speed and the position estimator. The effectiveness is verified by simulation.

  • 비선형 적응백스텝핑 제어기법은 외부 환경에 의한 여러가지 파라미터의 변동에도 불구하고 강인한 특성을 가진다. 이를 사용하여 IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor)의 정밀한 속도제어기를 설계하기 위해서는 빠른 제어 주기를 가져야만 한다. 하지만 속도 측정을 위한 엔코더의 분해능의 제약으로 연산주기를 빠르게 가져가지 못하고, 결국 제어기의 성능을 높이지 못하게 된다. 본 논문은 빠르고 정밀한 속도 제어기를 설계하기 위하여 비선형 적응백스텝핑 제어기법을 적용한 센서리스 속도 제어기 설계 방법을 제안한다. 제어기는 EKF(Extended Kalman Filter)를 이용하여 추정된 속도정보를 이용하여 비선형 적응백스텝핑 제어기법을 사용하는 방식으로 IPMSM의 속도 제어를 수행한다. 제안된 제어기의 성능은 PSIM을 이용한 모의 실험을 통하여 검증하였다.

Stability Enhancement of Four-in-Wheel Motor-Driven Electric Vehicles Using an Electric Differential System

  • This paper presents a new multi-machine robust control based on an electric differential system for electric vehicle (EV) applications which is composed of four in-wheel permanent magnet synchronous motors. It is based on a new master-slave direct torque control (DTC) algorithm, which is used for the control of bi-machine traction systems based on a speed model reference adaptive system observer. The use of an electric differential in the design of a new EV constitutes a technological breakthrough. A classical system with a multi-inverter and a multi-machine comprises a three-phase inverter for each machine to be controlled. Another approach consists of only one three-phase inverter for several permanent magnet synchronous machines. The control of multi-machine single-inverter systems is the subject of this study. Several methods have been proposed for the control of multi-machine single-inverter systems. In this study, a new master-slave based DTC strategy is developed to generate an electric differential system. The entire system is simulated by Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the new multi-machine robust control based on an electric differential system for use in EV applications.

전문가 슬라이딩 모드 제어기를 이용한 직류전동기의 강인한 속도제어 (Robust speed control of DC motor using Expert Sliding mode controller)

  • 산업자동화의 고정밀도에 따라 직류 전동기는 강인제어가 요구되고 있다. 하지만 전동기 제어 시스템이 부하외 란의 영향을 받게 되면 강인제어는 어렵게 된다. 일반적으로 슬라이딩 모드 제어기는 강인성을 갖는 것으로 알려져 있다. 강인한 슬라이딩 모드제어기는 외란의 불확실한 정도를 알고 있다는 가정하에 설계된다. 그러므로 외란의 불확실 정도를 알지 못한다면 제어기의 설계는 어렵게 된다. 이를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 본 논문에서는 전동기 제어 시스템을 위한 전문가 슬라이딩 모 드 제어 기법을 제시하였다. 제의된 제어기는 부하 외란을 효과적으로 제거 할 수 있었다. 제어기법의 효과는 시 율레이션에 의해 확인하였다.

  • SFFS(Solid Freeform Fabrication System) can quickly makes models and prototype parts from 3D computer-aided design (CAD) data. Three dimensional printing(3DP) is a kind of the solid freeform fabrication. The 3DP process slices the modeling data into the 50-200um along to z axis. And we pile the powder and make the manufactures. A manufacture is made by the SFFS has the precision of the 50um. Therefore the x-y table of SFFS to move a printhead must be the system that has a high speed and accuracy. So we proposed the SMCSPO algorithm for SFFS. The major contribution is the design of a robust observer for estimating the state and the perturbation of the timing belt system, which is combined with a robust controller. The control performance of the proposed algorithm is compared with PD control by the simulation and the experiment. The control algorithm of the SFFS is presented in the office environment. The system between control system and printhead for the SFFS is also integrated

  • 산업 자동화의 고정밀도에 따라 직류서보 전동기는 강인제어가 요구되고 있다. 하지만 PID 제어기를 갖는 전동기 제어 시스템이 부하 외란의 영향을 받게되면 제어 시스템의 강인제어는 어렵게 된다. 이에 대한 보완적인 한 방법으로 본 논문에서는 전동기 제어시스템을 위한 PID-신경망 복합형 제어기법을 제시하였다. 신경망 제어기의 출력은 부하 외란 인가시에 발생되는 오차와 오차 변화율에 의해서 결정된다. 신경망 제어기를 이용한 직류서보 전동기의 강인제어는 시뮬레이션에 의하여 확인하였다.
