Due to the merits that only a small amount of computation is needed for solutions and stochastic policies can be handled explicitly, the actor-critic algorithm, which is a class of reinforcement learning methods, has recently attracted a lot of interests in the area of artificial intelligence. The actor-critic network composes of tile actor network for selecting control inputs and the critic network for estimating value functions, and in its training stage, the actor and critic networks take the strategy, of changing their parameters adaptively in order to select excellent control inputs and yield accurate approximation for value functions as fast as possible. In this paper, we consider a new actor-critic algorithm employing an RLS(Recursive Least Square) method for critic learning, and policy gradients for actor learning. The applicability of the considered algorithm is illustrated with experiments on the two linked robot arm.

How future generations perceive coexistence with intelligent robots is an important element of how SW and artificial intelligence education should be designed and conducted. This study conducted a survey of 214 first graders in middle school and looked at differences in understanding and perception of coexistence through empathy and expected problem situations depending on the type of intelligent robot. As a result of the analysis, Firstly, if the form was not explicit, it was recognized as a top-down relationship, and Second, in the case of human form, it was ready to recognize intelligent robots and communicate with them. Third, Many people were feeling Emotion in the Robot shape AI. Fourth, there was a vague sense of uneasiness about simple mechanical robots. The study is meaningful as a case study to confirm awareness of intelligent robots and needs to consider and establish awareness of whether they can coexist and live together with robots by age group as well as middle school students.
One of the words frequently mentioned in our society today is the smart machine. Smart machines are machines that contain smart or intelligent functions. These smart machines have recently been applied in our home environment. These are phenomena that occur as a result of smart home. In a smart home environment, smart speakers have moved away from traditional music playback functions and are now increasingly serving as interfaces to control devices, the various components of a smart home. Recently Artificial Intelligence(AI) has been developed and used in various fields. Especially AI recognition technology can perceive and distinguish images so it should plays a significant role in quality inspection process. For stability of autonomous driving technology, semiconductors inside automobiles must be protected from external electromagnetic wave(EM wave). As a shield film, a thin polymeric material with hole shaped micro-patterns created by a laser processing could be used for the protection. The shielding efficiency of the film can be increased by the hole structure with appropriate pitch and size. However, since the sensitivity of micro-machining for some parameters, the shape of every single hole can not be same, even it is possible to make defective patterns during process. And it is absolutely time consuming way to inspect all patterns by just using optical microscope. In this paper, we introduce a AI inspection system which is based on web site AI tool. And we evaluate the usefulness of AI model by calculate Area Under ROC curve(Receiver Operating Characteristics). The AI system can classify the micro-patterns into normal or abnormal ones displaying the text of the result on real-time images and save them as image files respectively. Furthermore, pressing the running button, the Hardware of robot arm with two Arduino motors move the film on the optical microscopy stage in order for raster scanning. So this AI system can inspect the entire micro-patterns of a film automatically. If our system could collect much more identified data, it is believed that this system should be a more precise and accurate process for the efficiency of the AI inspection. Also this one could be applied to image-based inspection process of other products.

With the recent increase in awareness of the diversification of patterns of warfare and security, technological evolution is occurring in the field of autonomous defense robots. As defense science and technology develops with the development of the concept of military utilization focusing on human lives and economic operation, the importance of autonomous robots in the effect-oriented future battlefield is increasing. The major developed countries have developed core technologies, investment strategies, priorities, data securing strategies and infrastructure development related to the field of autonomous defense robots, and research activities such as technology planning and policy strategy for autonomous defense robots in Korea have already begun. In addition, the field of autonomous defense robots encompasses technologies that represent the fourth industrial revolution, such as artificial intelligence, big data, and virtual reality, and so the expectations for this future area of technology are very high. It is difficult to predict the path of technological development due to the increase in the demand for new rather than existing technology. Moreover, the selection and concentration of strategic R&D is required due to resource constraints. It is thought that a preemptive response is needed. This study attempts to derive 6 new technologies that will shape the future of autonomous defense robots and to obtain meaningful results through an empirical study.
Personal service robots, a type of social robot that has emerged with the aging population and technological advancements, are undergoing a transformation centered around technologies that can extend independent living for older adults in their homes. For older adults to accept and use social robot innovations in their daily lives on a long-term basis, it is crucial to have a deeper understanding of user perspectives, contexts, and emotions. This research aims to comprehensively understand older adults by utilizing a mixed-method approach that integrates quantitative and qualitative data. Specifically, we employ the Van Kaam phenomenological methodology to group conversations into nine categories based on emotional cues and conversation participants as key variables, using voice conversation records between older adults and social robots. We then personalize the conversations based on frequency and weight, allowing for user segmentation. Additionally, we conduct profiling analysis using demographic data and health indicators obtained from pre-survey questionnaires. Furthermore, based on the analysis of conversations, we perform K-means cluster analysis to classify older adults into three groups and examine their respective characteristics. The proposed model in this study is expected to contribute to the growth of businesses related to understanding users and deriving insights by providing a methodology for segmenting older adult s, which is essential for the future provision of social robots with caregiving functions in everyday life.
The socio-cultural and economic changes following the Fourth Revolution are driving the growth of the food tech industry. Korea's food tech industry is still focused on delivery apps and the smart farms, robot market including artificial intelligence are in its infancy. In the United States, alternative meat companies are already included in unicorn companies, while Korea, the fourth largest importer of beef, lacks alternative meat development. France, Europe's largest agricultural country, is focusing on Agtech. China has developed the Internet and online e-commerce market with the world's number one population. Korea also needs to change regulations that focus on the past industry and various food tech industries should be developed through political and business-driven research and investment.

The technology of emotion recognition is necessary for human computer interaction communication. There are many cases where one cannot communicate without considering one's emotion. As such, emotional recognition technology is an essential element in the field of communication. n this regard, it is highly utilized in various fields. Various bio-sensor sensors are used for human emotional recognition and can be used to measure emotions. This paper proposes a system for recognizing human emotions using two physiological sensors. For emotional classification, two-dimensional Russell's emotional model was used, and a method of classification based on personality was proposed by extracting sensor-specific characteristics. In addition, the emotional model was divided into four emotions using the Support Vector Machine classification algorithm. Finally, the proposed emotional recognition system was evaluated through a practical experiment.
Applying Information Technology (IT) in practical engineering has become one of the most important issues in the past few decades, especially on internal solitary wave, intelligent robot interaction, artificial intelligence, fuzzy Lyapunov, tension leg platform (TLP), consumer and service quality. Other than affecting the traditional teaching mode or increasing the inter-relation with users, IT can also be connected with the current society by collecting the latest information from the internet. It is apparently a fashion-catching-up technology. Therefore, the learning of how to use IT facilities is becoming one of engineers' skills nowadays. In addition to studying how well engineers learn to operate IT facilities and apply them into teaching, how engineers' general capacity of information effects the results of learning IT are also discussed. This research introduces the "Combined TAM and TPB mode," to understand the situation of engineers using IT facilities.
