Korea is currently an aging society with a population of about 15 percent over the age of 65. Accordingly, the government is currently working on a number of measures. However, the problem that is rapidly increasing rather than decreasing is the traffic accident of the elderly. It has increased so much that we can check it out in multiple media right away. An average of 110 elderly people die or are injured in traffic accidents a day, or about 40,000 a year. The National Police Agency reported a 25 percent increase in elderly traffic accidents from five years ago. This paper analyzes traffic accidents of senior citizens through the Big Data analysis and R programming language to present the main causes of traffic accidents of senior citizens and areas where measures are needed to prevent them.
PURPOSE. The present study investigated the influences of various gypsum materials on the precision of fit of CAD/CAM-fabricated prostheses and analyzed their correlation with surface roughness. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The master model of the mandibular right first molar was replicated, and four experimental groups based on two types of Type IV stone (GC Fujirock EP, Die keen) and two types of scannable stone (Aesthetic-Basegold, Everest Rock) were created to include a total of 40 specimens, 10 in each group. The surface roughness of the working models for the respective experimental groups was measured. Once the zirconia cores had been fabricated, the marginal and internal fits were measured with a digital microscope using the silicone replica technique. The mean and standard deviation of the respective points of measurement were computed and analyzed through the one-way ANOVA and Tukey's HSD test. The correlation between surface roughness and the precision of fit of the zirconia core was analyzed using the Pearson correlation analysis (${\alpha}$=.05). RESULTS. The zirconia cores fabricated from the scannable stone working models exhibited a superior precision of fit as compared to those fabricated from the Type IV stone working models. The correlation analysis results showed a clear positive correlation between surface roughness and the precision of fit of zirconia cores in all of the experimental groups (P<.05). CONCLUSION. The results confirmed that the surface roughness of dental working models has a decisive influence on the precision of fit of zirconia cores.
Sustained economic development around the world is accelerating resource depletion. Research and development of secondary batteries that can replace them is also being actively conducted. Secondary batteries are emerging as a key technology for carbon neutrality. The core of an electric vehicle is the battery (secondary battery). Therefore, in this study, the temperature change by the heat source of the hammer and the rotational speed (rpm) of the abrasive disc of the Classifier Separator Mill (CSM) was repeatedly calculated and analyzed using the heat flow simulation STAR-CCM+. As the rotational speed (rpm) of the abrasive disk increases, the convergence condition of the iteration increases. Under the condition that the inlet speed of the Classifier Separator Mill (CSM) and the heat source value of the disc hammer are the same, the disc rotation speed (rpm) and the hammer temperature are inversely proportional. As the rotational speed (rpm) of the disc increases, the hammer temperature decreases. However, since the wear rate of the secondary battery material increases due to the strong impact of the crushing rotational force, it is determined that an appropriate rpm setting is necessary. In CSM (Classifier Separator Mill), it is judged that the flow rate difference is not significantly different in the direction of the pressure outlet (Outlet 1) right above the classifier wheel with the fastest flow rate. Because the disc and hammer attachment technology is adhesive, the attachment point may deform when the temperature of the hammer rises. Therefore, it is considered necessary to develop high-performance adhesives and other adhesive technologies.
The static creep behaviour of AlSl 420F stainless steel was investigated over the temperature range of $540{\sim}585^{\circ}C$ and the stress range of $13{\sim}19kg/mm^2$ (127.4~186.2MPa). Constant stress creep tests were carried out in the experiment. Measured stress exponent, n, for the creep deformation of the alloy under the given conditions was found to vary at the range of 9.59, 9.15, 8.78, and 8.53 for the temperature of 540, 555, 570, and $585^{\circ}C$ respectively. The activation energy, Qc, for the creep deformation was 106.42, 102.58,97.81, and 94.58 kcal/mole for the stress of 13, 15, 17, and $19kg/mm^2$, respectively. Lason-Miller parameter, P, for the crept specimens for AlSl 420F stainless steel was measured as $P=T(log\;t_T+21)$. The empirical static creep rate obtained by the regression analysis was as follows. $${\varepsilon}={\exp}[(3.79{\times}10^{-2}{\sigma}+2.722)T-3.0747{\sigma}+28.109]{\times}{\sigma}^{(-2.367{\times}10^{-2}T+22.33)}{\exp}\left[-\frac{(-2.015{\sigma}+132.580){\times}10^3}{RT}\right]$$ The failure plane were observed, intergranular fracture was dominated by r (round) type crack over the experimental range.
There has been increasing use of IPS Empress $2^{(R)}$ owing to easy fabrication method, high esthetics similar to natural teeth, good marginal accuracy, and sufficient fracture strength. However, in clinical application, although a luting agent and the tooth cementation bonding procedure influence the marginal accuracy and fracture strength restoration, there has been a controversy in the selection of proper luting agent. This study was to measure the marginal fidelites and fracture strength of IPS Empress crowns according to three cement types, Protec $cem^{(R)}$, Variolink $II^{(R)}$ and Panavia $21^{(R)}$. After construction of 12 experimental dies for each group, IPS Empress $2^{(R)}$ crowns were fabricated and luted the metal master die prepartion of the maxillary right premolar. Marginal gaps before cementation and after cementation were measured. Buccal incline on the functional cusp of specimens were loaded until the catastrophic failure and fracture strength was measured. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The range of gap was $34.04{\pm}4.84{\mu}m$ before cementation and $37.88{\pm}5.00{\mu}m$ after cementation, which showed significant difference by paired t-test (p<0.05). The difference in the results from marginal accuracy according to measuring point proved to be not statistically significant by two-way ANOVA test (p>0.05). 2. The difference in the results from marginal accuracy according to three cement types Proved that The Variolink $II^{(R)}$ cement group had the least gap, $35.43{\pm}5.03{\mu}m$, and showed superior marginal accuracy while there existed statistic significance in Protec $cem^{(R)}$ cement group, $39.06{\pm}4.41{\mu}m$ or Panavia $21^{(R)}$ cement group, $39.16{\pm}4.39{\mu}m$ by two-way ANOVA test & multiple range test (p<0.05). 3. The difference in the results from fractures strength testing according to three cement type groups proved to be statistically significant (p<0.05). The Variolink $II^{(R)}$ cement group shows highest fracture strength of $1257.33{\pm}226.77N$, Panavia $21^{(R)}$ cement group has $1098.08{\pm}138.45N$, and Protec $cem^{(R)}$ cement group represents the lowest fracture strength of $926.75{\pm}115.75N$. 4. Three different cement groups of different components showed acceptable marginal fidelity and fracture strength. It is concluded that IPS Empress $2^{(R)}$ crowns luted using Variolink $II^{(R)}$ cement group had stronger fracture strength and smaller marginal gap than the other cement groups. Although Variolink $II^{(R)}$ resin cement seemed acceptable to clinical applications in IPS Empress $2^{(R)}$ system, the IPS Empress $2^{(R)}$ system still requires long-term research due to the lack of data in clinical applications.

In recent, Korean government TF Team announced new entrepreneurship policy of establishing virtuous cycle in high-tech venture startup financing ecosystem with emphasizing on 'boosting up angel investment and M&A.' This policy is brought not only to come up with the previous policy defects of creating less creative starts-up despite that government has put die-hard efforts, such as big chunk of budget dumping and policy preference, to promote high-tech starts-up since the year of 1997, but also to found right momentum of shifting entrepreneurship policy paradigm from government-direct to entrepreneur into indirect via utilizing the market forces. In particular, this policy puts a highlight on promoting angel investment, representing unfolding red carpets for creative economy. However, this policy confront critical fatal flaws such as a serious lacks of business angels which carry out the core function of government policy. In worse off, business angels cannot be raised up in short term period by taking other practical entrepreneurship ecosystem cases. As alternative, this paper propose the raising-up over entrepreneurship facilitators with having angel investing potentials in short term. In specific, this paper suggest the training methodology over the previous BI manager, passive simple angel investors, and consultants in entrepreneurship for embedding entrepreneurship facilitators. This paper carries four different specific studies. First, this paper implement literature review for entrepreneurship policy with respect to evaluating the previous entrepreneurship policies and making a diagnosis over its consequences. Second, it carries theoretical literature reviews relating to Korean angel investment and business incubation. Third, it proposes the concept of entrepreneurship facilitators. Fourth, it brings the alternatives of raising up entrepreneurship facilitators.
In recognition of the increasing social attention paid to the notion of how to die well, this study explored what it is that middle-aged and older Koreans think of as "dying well." Specifically, it was aimed at classifying the perceptions people middle-aged and older have regarding dying well. To this end, we used data from the National Survey on Well-Dying, which was conducted in 2018 by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs, and employed Latent Class Analysis. The demographic characteristics of each of the classified subgroups were identified through technical statistics. The types identified were multilayered depending on the imminence of death, perspectives of the last stages before dying, and the meaning of death in the context of social relationships. These types differed according to gender and subjective health conditions. Based on our findings in this study, we put forward policy suggestions about awareness improvement of personal and social levels, promoting on comprehensive death preparation, providing a system to reduce the cost of medical and nursing expense at the end of one's life, promoting of the right to self-determination regarding death, raising social attention to groups that are least prepared for dying well.

Purpose: This correlation study was performed to examine Korean adults' perceptions and attitudes towards death with dignity and the withdrawal of life sustaining treatment and to identify factors that predict their attitude towards death with dignity. Methods: The study was conducted using convenience sampling of 291 adults from three towns of a metropolitan city in Korea. Data were collected using structured questionnaires which surveyed people's perception about and attitudes towards withdrawal of life sustaining treatment and scaled their attitude towards death with dignity. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression. Results: The attitude towards the withdrawal of life sustaining treatment and death with dignity showed a significant positive correlation (r=0.49, P<0.001). For attitudes towards death with dignity, significant predictors were attitudes towards the withdrawal of life sustaining treatment, age, religion, a proper withdrawal process and advanced medical directives, which explained 49.3% of total variance. Conclusion: The results of this study may contribute to development of a new medical decision-making system including nurses' appropriate roles in the process of withdrawing life sustaining treatment and advanced medical directives.
Statement of problem: The interest in all-ceramic restorations has increased as more techniques have become available. With the introduction of machinable dental ceramics and CAD/CAM systems there is a need to evaluate the quality levels of these new fabrication techniques. Purpose: This study is to evaluate the crown fidelity(absolute marginal discrepancy and internal gap) of various zirconia-based all-ceramic crowns fabricated with different CAD/CAM(computer-assisted design/computer-assisted manufacturing) systems and conventional cast metal-ceramic crowns. Material and methods: A resin tooth of lower right second premolar was prepared. After an impression was taken, one metal master die was made. Then 40 impressions of metal master dies were taken for working dies. 10 crowns per each system were fabricated using 40 working dies. Metal-ceramic crowns were cast by using the conventional method, and Procera, Lava, and Cerec inLab crowns were fabricated with their own CAD/CAM manufactruing procedures. The vertical marginal discrepancies and internal gaps of each crown groups were measured on a metal master die without a luting agent. The results were statistically analyzed using the one-way ANOVA and Tukey's HSD test. Results: 1. Vertical marginal discrepancies were $50.6{\pm}13.9{\mu}m$ for metal-ceramic crowns, $62.3{\pm}15.7{\mu}m$ for Procera crowns, $45.3{\pm}7.9{\mu}m$ for Lava crowns, and $71.2{\pm}2.0{\mu}m$ for Cerec inLab crowns. 2. The Internal gaps were $52.6{\pm}10.1{\mu}m$ for metal-ceramic crowns, $161.7{\pm}18.5{\mu}m$ for Procera crowns, $63.0{\pm}10.2{\mu}m$ for Lava crowns, and $73.7{\pm}10.7{\mu}m$ for Cerec inLab crowns. Conclusion: 1. The vertical marginal discrepancies of, 4 crown groups were all within the clinically acceptable range($120{\mu}m$). 2. The internal gaps of LAVA, Cerec inlab, and metal-ceramic crowns were within clinically acceptable range except Procera crown($140{\mu}m$).

Background: Cardiac injuries are the most commonly overlooked injuries in patients who die from trauma. Patients who survive blunt cardiac rupture or penetrating injuries are rare and the incidence is not well defined. Many patients require urgent or emergency operations and operative mortality is very high. Material and Method: A retrospective review of 26 patients with cardiac injuries due to thoracic trauma undergoing emergency thoracotomy from January 1997 to December 2005. Result: There were 17 male and 9 female patients, with a mean age of $45.3{\pm}16.2\;(range:\;17{\sim}80)$. Thirteen patients (50%) were injured in motor vehicle accidents, and five patients (19%) in motorcycle accidents. Six patients (23%) were injured by knives, and two patients (8%) were injured by falling. Anatomic injuries included right atrium (12 [46%]), left atrium (1 [4%]), right ventricle (5 [19%]), left ventricle (5 [19%]), and cardiac chambers (2 [7%]). Diagnosis was made by computer tomography in 12 patients and sonography in 14 patients. The average times from admission to operating room was $89.2{\pm}86.7\;min\;(range:\;10{\sim}335)$. The average time for diagnosis was $51.3{\pm}13.6\;min\;(range:\;5{\sim}280)$. The mean Revised Trauma Score (RTS) was $6.7{\pm}0.8$, and the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), was $12.8{\pm}2.8$. The overall mortality rate was 12% (3 out of 26 patients). Conclusion: The mortality rate from cardiac injury is very high. The survival rate can be increased only by a high index of suspicion, aggressive expeditious diagnostic evaluation, and prompt appropriate surgical management.
