해방 이후 현대 교육의 이상적 인간상 탐색 - 전환기, 산업화 시기, 민주화 시기를 중심으로 - (Exploring of the Ideally Right People of Modern Education since Liberation)

  • 본 연구는 해방 이후 현대 교육의 이상적 인간상을 살펴보기 위하여 우선 해방 이후에서 90년대에 이르는 시기를 광복 이후 분단까지의 '전환기'와, 경제성장을 통한 현대 국가 발전의 기반이 된 '산업화 시기', 그리고 다양한 계층의 사람들이 정치?경제?사회 참여를 요구하는 '민주화 시기'의 세 시기로 구분하고, 각 시기의 특성에 대해 정치 경제 사회 문화 등 다양한 측면에서의 접근을 시도하였다. 특히, 교육적 인간상의 추출을 위하여 이들 각 시기의 주요 가치를 탐색함으로써 이와 관련한 각 시기별 인간상을 고찰하였다. 시기별로 나타나는 주요가치와 인재상은 다음과 같다. 전환기의 주요가치로는 예의와 규범을 제시할 수 있으며, 추구하는 인재상은 무실역행(務實力行)하는 자세가 강조되는 실천적 지식이었다. 산업화 시기의 주요가치로는 성실, 근면, 자조, 협동을 제시할 수 있으며, 추구하는 인재상은 경제발전에 필수적이고 강력한 직업능력을 갖춘 기능인이었다. 민주화의 주요가치로는 참여, 평등, 공존을 제시할 수 있으며, 추구하는 인재상은 경제성장의 둔화라는 위기감 속에서 국가의 생존과 번영을 위하여 이바지하는 우수한 과학인재상이었다. 각 시기별 인재상은 실용적이면서도 실천적인 유형의 인간상이 드러나고 있으며 공동체적 덕성을 중시하고 있는데, 이는 전통적인 가치관의 연속선상에서 시기별 특징을 보여주고 있는 대목이기도 하다.

우리말 속담에 대한 우반구 손상 환자의 이해력 연구 (Study on Korean Proverb Comprehension in Patients with Right Hemisphere Damage)

  • This study was intended to analyze how well people with right hemisphere damage can understand Korean proverbs. This study used a between-subject design and within-subjects design where all subjects participate in the three experiments for 10 hospitalized patients of whose average age is 66.1 years old and 10 normal adults in the same age range. Experiment 1 was to make up Korean proverb related stories and suggest it in written, Experiment II was to suggest a picture presenting a Korean proverb and the proverb itself directly, and Experiment III was to make up a story related to a Korean proverb and tell it auditory. Five Korea proverbs were used for each experiment; 15 in total. The results were as follows: First, there was a significant difference in understanding of Korean proverbs between normal adults and people with right hemisphere damage. Second, there was no significant difference of understanding between them by stimulating methods to suggest Korean proverbs. Third, people with right hemisphere damage had a tendency to interpret Korean proverbs literally as a total wrong reaction was composed of 55.36%. Considering the above the results, it can be said that people with right hemisphere damage have less understanding of Korean proverbs than normal adults, which is not affected by a way of or a condition of suggesting Korean proverbs in people with RHD, and they are inclined to make literal interpretation of Korean proverbs as they are.

Five Laws and Libraries in Korea: Are We in the Right Direction?

  • This paper discusses the current situation of public libraries in Korea, from the viewpoint of Ranganathan's 'Five Laws of Library Science'. Public libraries have very rapidly grown in Korea in the past ten years. With an average growth rate of 5.8% per year, the number of public libraries reached to 703 in 2009, and the number of people served per library have gradually reduced every year, even if still far below other advanced countries. However, there are still some attempts to retrain people of their right to read whatever they want. In this paper, it is emphasized that in public libraries more attention and financial and strategic assistance should be given to the disadvantaged people, and the equal right to benefit from library services should be ensured. And the library as a growing organism should be balanced with the responsible library director, devoted librarians, and concerned people in the community.

전환기부터 산업화 시기까지 한국인의 가치 탐색 (Exploring the Values of Korean in the Period of Transitional and Industrial Era)

  • 본 연구는 해방 이후부터 70년대 말 산업화 시기까지 한국인이 중요시 여겼던 가치가 어떻게 변화하고 있는지 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 두 시기에 대한 구분은 본 연구의 관점에서 볼 때, 한국사회, 혹은 한국인들의 가치체계 변화에 지대한 영향을 미친 역사적 사건을 중심으로 '전환기', '산업화 시기'로 구분하였으며 정치, 경제 및 사회적 요인들을 간략히 살펴봄으로써 시기별 가치를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구 목적에 따라 시기별로 나타나는 주요가치와 인재상을 도출하고자 하였을 뿐만 아니라 하나의 가치가 어떻게 변모하고 있는지 탐색하였다. 시기별로 나타나는 주요가치와 인재상은 다음과 같다. 전환기의 주요가 치로는 예의와 규범을 제시하였고, 추구하는 인재상은 무실역행(務實力行)하는 자세가 강조되는 실천적 지식이었다. 산업화 시기의 주요가치로는 성실, 근면, 자조, 협동을 제시하였고, 추구하는 인재상은 경제발전에 필수적이고 강력한 직업능력을 갖춘 기능인이었다. 시기별로 지속적으로 탐색한 가치는 애국심이었다. 전환기의 애국심은 초기에는 전통적 지배구조의 붕괴와 지도자의 부재로 인하여 국가와 민족이 충의 대상이었다면 지도자의 선출과 국가의 건립 이후에는 새로운 지배구조가 형성되어 국가보다는 지도자나 상급자에 대한 충성으로 변모하는 경향을 보였다. 산업화 시기 애국심은 국가경제정책을 충실히 이행하고 반공정신으로 무장하여 북한을 압도하는 통일의지를 가지는 것 등으로 비교적 다른 시기에 비하여 목적성이 매우 뚜렷한 경향을 보였다.

Cerebral Blood Flow Velocity of Young People in Their Twenties

  • Transcranial Doppler sonography (TCD) is a useful diagnostic method to measure cerebral blood flow velocity in various cerebral disorders. However, we haven't data enough to be available for young persons, especially in the twenties in Korea. This study was performed to collect the basic data of the cerebral blood flow velocity and to understand the cerebral physiology in the twenties. We determined the mean velocities of middle, anterior, and posterior cerebral artery, and vertebral and basilar artery (MCA-V, ACA-V, PCA-V, VA-V, and BA-V, respectively) in eighty-two healthy volunteers. For evaluating cerebral autoregulation, only the MCA- V was measured under various conditions such as stable, apnea, and hyperventilation state. Right and left MCA-V were 80.66±14.03 and 83.22±14.40 cm/sec at stable state, 90.13±17.47 and 90.26±16.38 cm/sec at apnea, and 54.83±11.09 and 55.33±10.74 cm/sec at hyperventilation. Right and left ACA-V were 49.11±15.71 and 48.19±13.75 cm/sec. Right and left PCA-V were 39.44±9.12 and 37.91±6.74 cm/sec. Right and left VA-V were 33.65±9.26 and 36.l8±10.39 cm/sec. BA-V was 48.49±11.16 cm/sec. Right and left MCA- V, V A-V, and right ACA- V and PCA- V in women were higher than those of men (P<0.05). No significant differences were found between men and women in the others. These findings indicate that cerebral hemodynamics and autoregulation were normal in young people in their twenties. The velocities of MCA, ACA, PCA, and BA were high values in women as compared with men.

쇼트트랙 스피드 스케이트 운동시 하지 관절각 분석 (A Study on Joint Angle of Lower Extremity during Short Track Speed Skating)

  • This study, which is conducted on two groups of skilled people and unskilled people, is purposed to analyze joint angle of lower extremity during short track speed skating in order to find out efficient body position and propose ideal training method. Short Track Speed Skating has a wide range of research areas, but their findings indicate a promising area for further research. Targeting 8 people who are skilled in short track speed skating and 8 people who are not skilled in it, this study analyzes three dimensional images using super-high speed camera to compare differences between these two groups of people. In this study, 6 sections of body positions including right foot push-off, right foot recovery, right foot basic position, left foot push-off, left foot recovery, and left foot basic position were analyzed using 8 super-high speed cameras of VICON. These body positions were analyzed in order to find out joint angles of the hip joint, the knee joint, and the ankle joint. In the section 4 of the inner and outer parts of the left hip angles showed significant difference, and most of the sections of knee joint angles also showed significant difference. In the section 1 and 2 of the plantar flexion, dorsiflexion of ankle joints showed significant difference(p<.001) It was found out that there were differences between groups of skilled people and unskilled people in terms of lower extremity's joint angles such as angles of the hip joint, the knee joint, and the ankle joint.

잊힐 권리의 경제적 가치 추정 연구 (Economic Valuation of the Right to be Forgotten)

  • 잊힐 권리는 정보의 주체가 온라인상에서 자신과 관련된 모든 정보를 삭제하거나 확산의 방지를 요구할 수 있는 자기결정권 및 통제 권리를 뜻한다. 개인정보를 보호하고 사생활 침해로 인한 피해를 방지하기 위한 사회적 관심이 높아지면서 우리나라에서도 잊힐 권리에 대한 다양한 논의가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 잊힐 권리에 대한 선행연구는 주로 법적 개념을 다루고 있으며, 경제적 가치에 대한 고려는 미흡한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구는 잊힐 권리에 대한 우리나라 국민의 인식을 파악하고 잊힐 권리의 경제적 가치를 정량적으로 측정하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석 결과, 현재 개인정보 공개에 대한 우려는 존재하는 반면 잊힐 권리에 대한 인식은 아직 부족한 상황으로 나타났다. 잊힐 권리에 대한 응답자의 월평균 지불의사금액은 약 1,218원으로 도출되었으며, 연간 경제적 가치는 2017년 기준 약 5,400억 원으로 산정되었다. 특히 개인정보 유출 경험이 있는 응답자의 경우 잊힐 권리에 부여하는 가치는 더욱 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 향후 잊힐 권리에 대한 사회적 쟁점을 논의하는 과정에서 유용한 참고자료로 활용될 것이다.

  • Chen Du-xiu, a leading thinker and revolutionist in modern China, is the person who showed an ideological upheaval from liberalism to socialism. He called for personal freedom and the values of the individual, but when he came upon a national crisis and the Russian Revolution succeeded, he converted to socialism. In the process, he combined democracy with ethnicity to lay the foundation for Chinese social democracy. As one of representative thinkers of modern China, he changed his position for Chinese people and Chinese society, and it soon formed the basis of modern Chinese socialism, emphasizing the right to the survival of the people and people's democracy.

핵심역량에 기초한 A 통신사의 선발시스템 사례연구 (Telecommunication Company A's Selection System Case Based on the Core Competencies)

  • It is very important to select the best employees who are suitable for their jobs and duties as considering the efficiency and productivity of the firms' performance. As a result, many kinds of selection methodologies and systems have been developed. Among them is the selection system based on the core competencies which is known as the superior selection systems that can increase the predictive validity who is the right people, compared to the traditional selection system based on the job analysis. Hence, the former has been focused in the complex business situation in recent years. In this case study, we examine the selection system case based on the core competencies of OSS team in Company A, which is one of the largest telecommunication firms and we suggest the implications. According to the results of this case study, defining the core competencies of the job and selecting the right people who had the related competencies not only decreased the turnover rate of OSS team in Company A, but also increased the employees' loyalty and satisfaction for the organizations. This study will be a benchmark to other departments that don't use competency selection system of Company A as well as the firms that want to adapt the selection system based on the core competencies. Also, this case study has a contribution that shows us an alternative model how can the firms identify and select the best right employees.
