Let A be the class of univalent functions f(z)=z＋${\alpha}$$_2$z$^2$＋${\alpha}$$_3$z$^3$＋…(1.1) which are analytic in the unit disk $\Delta$= {z：│z│＜1}. Let S＊(p) be the subclass of A composing of functions which are starlike of order $\rho$. A function f(z) belonging to the class A is said to be starlike of order $\rho$ ($\rho$(equation omitted) 0) if and only if z$\^$-l/ f(z) (equation omitted) 0 (z$\in$$\Delta$) and (equation omitted (1.2).(omitted)

In this paper we study the approximation properties of a continuous function by the sequence of (p, q)-Bernstein operators for q > p > 1. We obtain bounds of (p, q)-Bernstein operators. Further we prove that if a continuous function admits an analytic continuation into the disk $\{z:{\mid}z{\mid}{\leq}{\rho}\}$, then $B^n_{p,q}(g;z){\rightarrow}g(z)(n{\rightarrow}{\infty})$ uniformly on any compact set in the given disk $\{z:{\mid}z{\mid}{\leq}{\rho}\}$, ${\rho}>0$.

For a unital *-subalgebra of the space $\mathcal{L}^a(X)$ of all adjointable maps on a Hilbert $\mathcal{B}$-module X with a $C^*$-algebra $\mathcal{B}$, we study unitary operator (in such algebra)-valued multiplier ${\sigma}$ on a normal, generating subsemigroup S of a group G with its extension to G. A dilation of a projective isometric ${\sigma}$-representation of S is established as a projective unitary ${\rho}$-representation of G for a suitable unitary operator (in some algebra)-valued multiplier ${\rho}$ associated with the multiplier ${\sigma}$ which is explicitly constructed.

This paper reports the characteristics of sparkover discharge in flowing air with variation of Temperature(T). Also, We studied changes of discharge pattern for constant input power by adjustment of the Reynolds number(Re) and T. The essentiales of this paper are as followers. The invaluable equation obtained from this experiment is [%]$\frac{Vs}{Re}$=A+B${\varepsilon}^{c{\cdot}Re}$ where A=10.5 B=120 $C=-3.00{\times}10^{-5}$ Breakdown Voltage for Variation of temperature in static air is given by expression Vs = K (23.98 ${\rho}$d+6.8 ${\sqrt}{{\rho}d}$)[kV] The discharge pattern can be controlled by adjustment of the Reynolds number.

This paper proposes appropriate conjugate parameters and dimensionless temperatures to analysis the conjugate problem of heat conduction in solid wall coupled with laminar film condensation flow adjacent to horizontal flat plate. An efficient methods for some fluids are proposed for its solution. The momentum and energy balance equations are reduced to a nonlinear system of ordinary differential equations with four parameters: the Prandtl number, Pr, Modified Jacob number, $Ja^*/Pr$, defined by an overall temperature difference, a property ratio $\sqrt{\rho_l{\mu}_l/{\rho_v{\mu}_v}$ and the conjugate parameter $\zeta$. The obtained similarity solution reveals the effect of the conjugate parameter, and the results are compared with the simplified solution. The variations of the heat transfer rates as well as the interface temperature and frictions along the plate are shown explicitly.

We investigate ${\rho}$ Pup using the high resolution spectral observations taken from the VLT archive and observations at a 1.8m-Korean telescope with BOES spectrograph. The atmospheric parameters are determined using the iron-line abundance analysis. We derive an effective temperature value of $T_{eff}=6890{\pm}250K$, surface gravity of log g=$3.28{\pm}0.3$ dex, microturbulent velocity of ${\upsilon}_{micro}=4.1{\pm}0.4km\;s^{-1}$, and the iron abundance of log N=$7.82{\pm}0.15$. The projected rotational velocity of the star is close to ${\upsilon}$ sin i=3.5km $s^{-1}$. Asymmetric line profiles in the observed spectra and variation of this asymmetry with time show that both strong radial pulsation and weak non-radial pulsations are present in ${\rho}$ Pup.

GPR43 (also known as FFAR2 or FFA2) is a G-protein-coupled receptor primarily expressed in immune cells, enteroendocrine cells and adipocytes that recognizes short-chain fatty acids, such as acetate, propionate, and butyrate, likely to be implicated in innate immunity and host energy homeostasis. Activated GPR43 suppresses the cAMP level and induces Ca²⁺ flux via coupling to Gα_i and Gα_q families, respectively. Additionally, GPR43 is reported to facilitate phosphorylation of ERK through G-protein-dependent pathways and interacts with β-arrestin 2 to inhibit NF-κB signaling. However, other G-protein-dependent and independent signaling pathways involving GPR43 remain to be established. Here, we have demonstrated that GPR43 augments Rho GTPase signaling. Acetate and a synthetic agonist effectively activated RhoA and stabilized YAP/TAZ transcriptional coactivators through interactions of GPR43 with Gα_q/11 and Gα_12/13. Acetate-induced nuclear accumulation of YAP was blocked by a GPR43-specific inverse agonist. The target genes induced by YAP/TAZ were further regulated by GPR43. Moreover, in THP-1-derived M1-like macrophage cells, the Rho-YAP/TAZ pathway was activated by acetate and a synthetic agonist. Our collective findings suggest that GPR43 acts as a mediator of the Rho-YAP/TAZ pathway.

We investigate the decaying incompressible MHD turbulence by including the effect of the expansion and contraction of background medium. In such an environment, incompressible MHD turbulence has two kinds of time scale. One is the eddy turn-over time (teddy), the other is the expansion/contraction time (texp-cntr). The turbulence is expected to behave differently according to the relationship between the two time scales. For instance, for teddy < texp-cntr, the turbulence would be decay more or less as in a static medium. On the other hand, for teddy > texp-cntr, the effects of expansion and contraction would be dominant. We examine the properties of turbulence in these two regime cases. Based on it, we derive a scaling for the time evolution of flow velocity and magnetic field. (i) In the decay effect dominant case, the velocity and magnetic field scale as $\sqrt{{\rho}v}{\sim}a^{-3}$, $b{\sim}a^{-2.5}$(expanding media) and $\sqrt{{\rho}v}{\sim}a^{-2}$, $b{\sim}a^{-1.5}$(contracting media). The total energy and residual spectra follow the $E^T_k{\sim}k^{-5/3}$, $E^R_k{\sim}k^{-7.3}$ in the inertial range. (ii) In the expanding and contracting dominant case, the velocity and magnetic field scale as $\sqrt{{\rho}v}{\sim}a^{-2.5}$, $b{\sim}a^{-2}$ (expanding/contracting media). The Kinetic and magnetic energy spectra follow the $E^K_k{\sim}a^{-5}$, $E^M_k{\sim}a^{-4}$. We have confirmed that scaling of velocity and magnetic filed is almost the same from the analytic estimates and computational models

We provide quantitative two weight estimates for the commutator of the Hilbert transform under certain conditions on a pair of weights (u, v) and b in $Carl_{u,v}$. In [10] and [11], Bloom's inequality is shown in a modern setting, and the boundedness of the commutators is provided by assuming both weights u, v are $A_2$ and $b{\in}BMO_{\rho}$. In the present paper we show that the condition on b can be replaced by $Carl_{u,v}$ by using the joint $A^d_2$ condition.

Examining the polychactous annelids collected from Tongyeong Bay and Gwangyang Bay, I found three species which should be added in tile list as new to the polychaetous annelid fauna of Korea. In the present study three species are reported with morphological descriptions. Consquently, a total of 128 species of polychaetous annelids has been reported (Kamita and Sato, 1941; Paik, 1972, 1973a, 1973b; Rho and Song, 1974, 1975: Paik, 1975a, 1975b, 1976: Lee, 1976; Paik 1977, 1978, 1979a,1979b) in Korea.
