Compressors in Large Multi-room air conditioning system are often driven by gas heat pumps. The advantages of GHP are their high level of heating performance and low cost because they use the LNG fuel to drive engine. We developed engine control system. The developed system controls engine speed based on proportional, integral and derivative (PID) method. This controller is designed to eliminate the need for continuous operator attention on engine revolution control. The control system includes 4 spark coil drivers, fuel drivers and relay drivers to make engine's operating more stable. The experiments of control engine revolution of this system are based on the various load conditions.

A rotating device driven by an Inchworm motor was designed and fabricated to be used as an angie standard system. 1. PZT was adopted as a driving source, while the movement of PZT was guided by the leaf spring employing the elastic transformation of metals. 2. The device could rotate in a 360-degree arc. continuously Performance test of the device showed about 0.02 sec. of the minimum revolution angle and 1/15 rpm of the maimum revolution speed. 3. To improve its performance requires further studies on realizing a shifting device with faster response time, on increasing the output current (capacity) of the power amplifier used to drive PZT, on the dynamic motion of clamping. and on determining the optimum clamping condition
Autonomous Underwater Gliders (AUGs) are a type of Underwater Vehicles that move without the help of a standard propeller. Gliders use buoyancy engines to vary their weight or buoyancy and traverse with the help of the Lift and Drag forces developed from the fuselage and the wings. The Lift and Drag Coefficients, also called Hydrodynamic coefficients (HDCs) play a major role in glider dynamics. This paper examines the effect of the different types of glider fuselages based on the bodies of revolution (BOR) of NACA sections. The HDCs of the glider fuselages are numerically estimated at a low-speed regime (105 Reynolds Number) using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The methodology is validated using published literature, and the results of CFD are discussed for possible application in the estimation of glider turning motion.

Minimizing the cylinder wear and the consumption rate of cylinder oil in a large two-stroke diesel engine is of great economic importance. A motor-driven cylinder lubricator for Sulzer RT-flex large two-stroke diesel engines developed by authors is in need of modifying the lubricating system to lubricate cylinder parts optimally by an electronically controlled quill device according to changes of engine load and revolution speed. In order to apply the developed accumulating distributor to an integrated cylinder lubricator by the electronically controlled system as the third research stage, the lubricating system is improved in the electronically controlled quill device with a solenoid valve. In this study, the effects of lubricator revolution speed, driving pressure and cylinder back pressure on oil feed rate, maximum discharge and delivery pressures are experimentally investigated by using the integrated cylinder lubricator system with an accumulated distribution by the electronic control. It is found that the oil feed rate of the developed integral cylinder lubricator system is less than that of the motor-driven cylinder lubricator by the electronically controlled quill system equipped with an accumulating distributor because of the decrease of delivery speed by increasing the maximum delivery pressure in the same experimental condition.
The purpose of this paper analyzes and studies to seek the failure examples of electronic control actuators for engine in liquified petroleum gas vehicle. The first, it was verified phenomenon for intial starting damage and no-acceleration of engine because of occasionally fuel feeding interception by clogged of emergency cutting solenoid valve filter. The second, the contact resistance produced in the connecting part of engine control relay because of no fully surface contacting by processes and assembly badness. It was displayed phenomenon of re-starting badness. The actuator that idle speed control system was sticked inside because of intake-air decreasing by carbon deposit. As a result, it was verified the phenomenon of disharmony that repeated up and down the engine revolution.

This study investigates the performance and blade airloads for a rigid coaxial rotor of high-speed compound unmanned rotorcrafts. The present compound unmanned rotorcraft uses not only a rigid coaxial rotor, but also wings and propellers for high-speed flights. For the rigid coaxial rotor in this work, CAMRAD II, a rotorcraft comprehensive analysis code, is used to study the performance at a flight speed of up to 250 knots and blade section lift forces at 230 knots. As the flight speed increases, the rotor power decreases; however, the power of propellers increases to overcome the drag force of a rotorcraft in high-speed flight. The effective lift-to-drag ratio of a rotor has the maximum value of about 11.6 which is much higher than the value of the conventional helicopter. The blade section lift forces of the upper and lower rotors at 230 knots show the similar variation trends for one rotor revolution, and the impulses because of the aerodynamic interaction between both rotors are observed.

In domestic industry, there is no manufacturers specialized in the production of cutting tools for the difficult cutting materials. Then, we have flew data about them. In this study, the gear driving high speed lathe on which is mounted by a tool dynamometer and high speed CCTV were used to measure the various machining characteristics. Relations among the cutting speed, feed rate per revolution, cutting depth, cutting forces and surface roughness ware graphically analyzed under 64 cutting conditions. The process of chip, i.e., generation, development and falling-off also were visualized for the characterization of chip shapes of the difficult-to-cut materials using the CCTV.

In the past two stroke low speed diesel engine were widely used for marine propulsion. these engine have many merit for example, higher thermal efficiency and durability. however, shaft vibration problem was continuously rise up due to large power of two stroke low speed diesel engine. specially, the initial stage engine revolution counter & stress has acculated. For that reason, sometimes occurred crankshaft crack accident. In this study, regarding the initial stage engine, trying to analyze what is cause the crack phenomenon using by latest torsional vibration calculation program & measurement equipment.

Productivty of tapping has been increasing through the tcchnological advances in synchronization between spindle rotation and feed motion even in the high spindle speed. However, not much researches have been conducted about tapping process because its complicate cutting mechanism. In order ta investigate the characteristics of the tapping process, this paper concentrates on the analysis of curting torque behavior during one cycle of lapping. As one completc thread is performed through the whole chamfer ercuttlng, cutting torque increases highly in chamfer cutting, but smaothly in full thread cutting Functioning of the threads guide. Cutting torque in backward cutting is smaller than in Sorwerd cutting due to only friction farce in against between the tool and workpiece. And torque behavior of a periodic Sine ripple-mark was identified during one revolution of a tap.

An experimental study has been carried out to investigate the effects of the combination of the different wire mesh number in a regenerator and the tube number in a cooler on the cooling performance of a Vuilleumier cycle heat pump. Effects of operating conditions, such as charging pressure, operating speed, and heat input, on the cooling performance are also studied. The experimental results obtained indicate that the cooling performance could be improved with the proper combination of different wire meshes in a regenerator. More tubes in a cooler are desirable for better cooling performance. It is also found that the cooling capacity is enhanced, whereas COP is reduced with an increase in the heater tube temperature and the revolution speed. Both the cooling capacity and COP are incereased with a higher charging pressure.
