Data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: The purpose of the program was rated as the most important domain by the subjects. Interestingly, 'program outcome' and 'effectiveness of program' were ranked below the mean (M=$3.64{\pm}0.75$). These two domains were influenced by the district of work and the type of institution. The position of the participants at their institutions made the significant differences on their perception of 'program purpose.' Conclusion: The results of this study might aid us to have better understanding for what nurses perceive the importance of evaluating continuing nursing education programs. This information might be able to be used for improving programs. Further studies are needed to explore the validity of the instruments to evaluate continuing nursing education programs.

  • A single window platform must be successfully established by implementing CDM/UCR in WCO and UNeDocs in UN/CEFACT, which is part of the framework of standards for secure and facilitate global trade. Core success factors in single window platform for international trade depend on political innovative capacity, advanced leadership of high ranking officials and departments in charge, effective collaborations between the ministries and offices concerned which are supported by supreme executives, self-controlled coordinations between users, convenience and access availability to users, promotion and marketing, identification on predictive impediments, financial raising and revenue model payable, communication's strategy, valid legal basis etc. To settle a stable ubiquitous e-trade platform, firstly, procedures and practices of customs clearance which different from one another mutually must be standardized globally. Secondly, the international standard electronic data exchanges must be introduced to facilitate and simplify customs clearing procedures by holding administrative informations in common between public institutions. thirdly, cooperative work model must be accepted with enhancing outsourcing business between reference groups (export-import firms and IT service providers).

  • New concept of bibliographic data and its scheme are needed to accommodate a change resulting from the emergence of new forms of electronic publishing, and the advent of networked access to information resources. FRBR model was developed for defining functions performed by the bibliographic data with respect to various media, various applications, and various user needs. Several institutions including OCLC and RLG or vendors have tried to implement the FRBR on OPAC systems. The purpose of this study is to propose the strategies for developing bibliographic interface based the FRBR model. This study is to review the representative FRBRized systems and compare the systems regarding on search interface and display interface.

  • Countries around the world are actively investing in development and industrial application of RFID, a new wireless communications technology widely perceived as a next-generation growth engine with the potential for creation of new business value. In this paper, we empirically study factors influencing the acceptance of RFID by stage of introduction, to contribute making policies aimed at stimulating demand for this technology and accelerating its penetration. The process of acceptance of RFID was divided, in this paper, into three stages: perception, adoption and implementation, and influence factors, both Internal and external to an organization, drawn from existing literature, are analyzed. A conceptual model comprising internal influence factors, including technical, organization and economic factors, and external factors related to environment and this model was tested through structural equation analysis. To obtain data for empirical analysis, we surveyed public institutions and general companies that are potential users of RFID. The data thus collected were analyzed to determine factors influencing the acceptance of RFID by stage, and practical implications for the RFID promotion policy at the level of demand creation and industrial application were derived from the results of this analysis.

  • AAALAC International is a private, nonprofit organization that promotes humane treatment of animals in science through a voluntary international accreditation program. AAALAC International accreditation is recognized around the world as a symbol of high quality animal care and use for research, teaching and testing, as well as promoting animal welfare. Animals owned by the institution that are used for research, teaching and testing are included as part of an accredited program. More than 990 animal care and use institutions in 42 countries around the world (more than 170 programs in 13 countries in the Pacific Rim region) have earned AAALAC International accreditation. The AAALAC International Council on Accreditation evaluates overall performance and all aspects of an animal care and use program, involving an in-depth, multilayered, confidential peer-review process. The evaluators (site visitors) consider compliance with applicable local animal legislation of the host country, institutional policies, and employ a customized approach for evaluating overall program performance using a series of primary standards that include the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, the Guide for the Care and Use of Agricultural Animals in Research and Teaching, or the European Convention for the Protection of Vertebrate Animals Used for Experimental and Other Purposes, Council of Europe (ETS 123), and supplemental Reference Resources, as applicable.

  • Purpose: Our aim was the longitudinal assessment of cyst size in fetuses with biliary cystic malformation (BCM) to explore its etiology and the possibility of antenatal differentiation between biliary atresia (BA) and congenital biliary dilatation (CBD). Methods: We conducted a retrospective review of all patients diagnosed antenatally with BCM from 1994 to 2014 at our institutions. Results: The study cohort comprised of three patients with BA and six with CBD. There were no significant differences in the gestational age and cyst size at the first detection of BCM between the two groups. In fetuses with CBD, the cyst size steadily increased as the gestational age advanced, while it fluctuated around 1.5 cm and remained below 2.1 cm in those with BA. However, the ratio of cystic area to fetal trunk area was approximately constant due to linear fetal growth in fetuses with CBD. Conclusion: Fetuses with BCM <2.1 cm in the late gestation period were more likely to have BA than CBD. Our observation of cyst enlargement with advancing gestational age in the CBD group was attributed solely to fetal growth. Biliary dilatation in fetuses with CBD and BA might be completed at the onset of BCM.

  • This paper proposes a framework for integrated credit risk management system in domestic bank financial institutions. Credit evaluation system, loan processing system, credit monitoring system, and credit risk management system are integrated for efficient and effective risk-adjusted performance management in this framework. Risk exposures, not only for each credit, but also for bank's whole credit portfolio need to be measured and analyzed through the concept of Value-at-Risk (VaR). The effects of changes in credit ratings of individual loaners on bank's credit risk exposure are also considered. We tried to model this integrated credit risk management system by using object-oriented modeling language, UML.
