Recently, gusts, typhoon and tsunamis have been occurring more frequently around the world. In such an emergency situation, a moored vessel can be used to predict and analyze other vessel behavior, but if the mooring system is destroyed, marine casualties can occur. Therefore, it is necessary to determine quantitatively whether a vessel should be kept in the harbour or evacuate. In this study, moored ship safety in an exclusive wharf according to swell effects on motion and mooring load have been investigated using numerical simulations. The maximum tension exerted on mooring lines exceeded the Safety Working Load for intervals 12 and 15 seconds. The maximum bollard force also exceeded 35 tons (allowable force) in all evaluation cases. The surge motion criteria result for safe working conditions exceeded 3 meters more than the wave period 12 seconds with a wind speed of 25 knots. As a result, a risk rating matrix (risk category- very high risk, high risk and moderate risk) was developed with reference to major external forces such as wind force, wave height and wave periods to provide criteria for determining the control of capabilities of mooring systems to prevent accidents.
The dose distribution in the human body was evaluated and analyzed through dosimetry data using water phantom, ionization chamber and simulated by Monte Carlo simulation for 99mTc and 18F sources, which are frequently used in the nuclear medicine in this study. As a result of this study, it was found that the dose decreased exponentially as the distance from the radioisotope increased, and it particularly showed a tendency to decrease sharply when the radioisotope was separated by 5 cm. It means that a large amount of dose is delivered to an organ located within 4 cm of source's movement path when a source uptake in the human body. Numerically, it was formed in the rage of 0.16 to 2.16 pC/min for 99mTc and 0.49 to 9.29 pC/min for 18F. In addition, the energy transfer coefficient calculated using the result was found to be similar to the measured value and the simulation value in the range of 0.240 to 0.260. Especially, when the measured data and the simulation value were compared, there was a difference is within 2%, so the reliability of the data was secured. In this study, the distribution of radiation generated from a source was calculated to quantitatively evaluate the internal dose by radioisotopes. It presented reliable results through comparative analysis of the measurement value and simulation value. Above all, it has a great significance to the point that it was presented by directly measuring the distribution of radiation in the human body.

The adequacy of industrial water supply is one of the core elements of the construction of industrial complexes. This study examined the supply of industrial water through various ways, according to the planning and creation of industrial complexes and the operating utilization rate of tenant companies oksan industrial complex. As for calculating the supply of industrial water and establishing water supply plan, the basic data analysis and the land use plan are utilised. The adequacy of calculating the basic unit by industry, which is the basis for calculating industrial water, was evaluated. In addition, analyzed industrial water usage data and the raw unit of each industry was compared with the actual data from the Oksan Industrial Complex, which selected as the research target area among the industrial complexes in Cheongju-si administrative districts, where actual data can be secured. The result of the study shows that the peak load rate of industrial water was found to have the peak load of more than twice as the result of analyzing the actual usage, and the basic unit of industrial water industry showed a significant difference from the actual usage. In particular, the decreasing rate of the basic units was significant comparing the increasing rate of basic units. In addition, the raw unit of the industry that uses more water decreased significantly, and the raw unit of the industry that uses less water increased slightly.

The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of learners' satisfaction with the educational environment on the achievement level in the outreach coffee barista and bakery lifelong education program. The results of this study conducted over 10 sessions for learners living in Y city are as follows. Firstly, the satisfaction with the instructor was the highest, the satisfaction with the program content was the next, and the satisfaction with the program environment was the lowest. Secondly, as a result of analysis through pre-post evaluation, it was found that there was a significant level of improvement in learning effect. Thirdly, as a result of analyzing the effect on the achievement level, it was found that satisfaction with the instructor had a significant effect on the level of knowledge, and satisfaction with the content of the program had a significant effect on the level of attitude. However, satisfaction with the program environment was found to have no significant effect in all areas of knowledge, skill, and attitude. In conclusion, even if the educational environmental factors are poor in the outreach coffee barista and bakery programs, high satisfaction with the instructor and the content of the program can have a significant learning achievement. With this study, it is hoped that the outreach coffee barista and bakery education program will be further activated.

This study analyzed and verified the effects of a dietary education program for Korean young adults in single-person households. The dietary education program was conducted for five weeks (from November 10 to December 8, 2020) for Korean young adults in single-person households living in Seongbuk-gu, via four face-to-face education sessions and one online education session, including both theoretical lectures and practice. The effect of the dietary education program was analyzed through the Nutrition Quotient (NQ) questionnaire for adults provided by the Korean Nutrition Society, a dietary evaluation checklist questionnaire developed by the researchers, and photovoices. The average of 'Nutrition' score increased from 51.81 to 53.20, but there was no statistically significant difference. However, there was a significant change in the 'Moderation' category (p<0.05). As for the researcher-developed dietary evaluation, the average of the 'Importance' area rose from 3.77 to 3.99, but there was no statistically significant difference. The average of the 'Practice' area rose from 3.03 to 3.57, significant results were found (p<0.05). When the pre-/post-tests were compared by the sub-categories, four elements of 'Importance', i.e., balanced meals and avoided foods, and all five elements of 'Practice' were significantly improved (p<0.05). A total of 200 photovoices were analyzed according to Social Cognitive Theory. As a result of the analysis, the deterrents that help people eat healthy homemade food were 48% environmental factors, 30% behavioral factors, and 22% individual cognitive factors. The deterrents found to hinder participants from eating healthy homemade food were 72% environmental factors and 14% individual cognitive and behavioral factors. The results suggest that the dietary education program for Korean young adults in single-person households can be an effective tool that promotes self-motivation, behavioral changes, and improvements of the surrounding environment.
The purpose of this study is to explore what social workers experience and how they experience the needs of Meritocracy in the social welfare organization in the neoliberalism.. Therefore, in-depth interviews were conducted with 18 social workers, and I analyzed Colaizzi(1978) in a phenomenological method through collected research materials. As a result, the analysis is integrated in a total of four essential themes. According to the research results, the meritocracy - oriented phenomenon in the social welfare organization was 'paradox of Meritocracy'. Participants were buried in creating "nominal performance without any effectiveness" based on effectiveness and efficiency. Clients were instrumentalized in performance; moreover, they lost contact points with the field. Above all, there was "a reorganization of practices" that contradicted the original values of practice, in which the quality deterioration of service and the connection between organizations were weakened. In addition, the implementation of accountability of social welfare organization, which was intended by Meritocracy, has become a criterion for external evaluation, and the challenge of uncertain result has left a "rigid accountability without discretion." While participants were devoted to making a nominal performance, they failed to be guaranteed by the distinct characteristics of social welfare group. They experienced lost pride of the practitioner in the reality which contained the value of social welfare. However, in spite of this paradox of Meritocracy, participants demonstrated flexibility in order to preserve the original value and reached "a compromise with reality in the identity conflict." Based on the results of the research, I presented the discussion and policy directions.
Liquefaction refers to a phenomenon in which excessive pore water pressure occurs when a dynamic load such as an earthquake rapidly acts on a loose sandy soil saturated with soil, and the ground loses effective stress and becomes liquefied. The indoor repeated test for liquefaction evaluation can be confirmed through the repeated triaxial compression test and the repeated shear test. In this regard, this study tried to confirm the liquefaction resistance strength according to the relative density and particle size distribution of sand using the repeated triaxial compression test. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the liquefaction resistance strength increased as the relative density increased regardless of the soil classification, and the liquefaction resistance strength according to the particle size distribution of the sand was confirmed that the liquefaction resistance strength of the SP sample close to SW was significantly higher. In addition, as a result of analyzing 30% of fine powder compared to 0% of fine powder, as the relative density increased to 40~70%, the liquefaction resistance strength decreased by 5~20%, and the domestic weathered soil ground had a fine liquefaction resistance strength compared to Jumunjin standard sand. When the minute was 10%, it was measured to be 30% or more, and when the fine particle was 30%, it was measured to be less than 50%.
Korea's port development adjusts the completion time and size of port facilities according to the future port throughput. The current port development system, which is referred to as "throughput-linked port development (Trigger Rule)", has received positive evaluation for efficiently executing the limited port development budget. Recently concerns have been growing over deteriorating service levels in port facilities in Korea due to accelerated aging of terminal facilities. However, the current port development system does not possess any standard for assessing the level of service and utilizing development indicators. The purpose of this paper is to calculate the Port Service Index (PSI) by selecting indicators to measure the Level of Service (LOS) of ports and deriving weights between the indicators, so that the current "throughput-linked port development (Trigger Rule)" can be linked with the level of service. Based on the result of analysis on a variety of preceding studies, the ship waiting rate, berth productivity, ship turnaround time and ship productivity were selected as four indicators to constitute the Port Service Index. The AHP and entropy methodologies were used to derive weights for each of four indicators which were later combined to calculate the comprehensive weight. The calculation formula of the Port Service Index (PSI) was derived by using the aggregated weights of each indicator, based on which the LOS of domestic container and bulk terminals were evaluated and this measurement result was divided into 6 classes to define each LOS. This paper contributes to draw the improvement measures for port development system that are able to connect the quantitative indicator of throughput, as well as a qualitative indicator of the level of "service".
Korea prepares for potential floods by designating June 21st to September 20th as the flood season. However, many dams in Korea have suffered from extreme floods caused by different climate patterns, as in the case of the longest consecutive rain of 54 days in the 2020's flood season. In this context, various studies have tried to develop novel methodologies to reduce flood damage, but no study has ever dealt with the validity of the current statutory flood season thus far. This study first checked the validity of the current flood season through the observation data in the 21st century and proved that the current flood season does not consider the effects of increasing precipitation trends and the changing regional rainfall characteristics. In order to deal with these limitations, this study suggested seven new alternative flood seasons in the research area. The rigid reservoir operation method (ROM) was used for reservoir simulation, and the long short-term memory (LSTM) model was used to derive predicted inflow. Finally, all alternatives were evaluated based on whether if they exceeded the design discharge of the dam and the design flood of the river. As a result, the floods in the shifted period were reduced by 0.068% and 0.33% in terms of frequency and duration, and the magnitude also decreased by 24.6%, respectively. During this period, the second evaluation method also demonstrated that flood decreased from four to two occurrences. As the result of this study, the authors expect a formal reassessment of the flood season to take place, which will ultimately lead to the preemptive flood response to changing precipitation patterns.

In Korea it tends to rely on foreign standards for the stability management of the embankment slope on the soft clay layer. The Matsuo-Kawamura's method, the Kurihara's method, the Tominaga- Hashimoto's method and the Shibata-Sekiguchi's method are generally employed at site. In this study these slope stability methods are investigated and the applicability of the stability management methods is evaluated through numerical analysis. It is evaluated that stability is overestimated to some degree by the Matsuo-Kawamura method. According to the result by the Tominaga-Hashimoto method there is some risk of sudden failure. This implies that the careful attention is necessary for the management of monitoring the field data. Even though the stability tends to be underestimated by the Kurihara's method, however, it is estimated that this method is applicable to the field when the probable uncertainty at site is considered. For the Shibata-Sekiguchi's method, there is some difficulties in determining the failure index for the practical application, it is considered as safe when the existing estimated failure index is greater than ${\Delta}_q/{\Delta}{\delta}$. In this study, however, it is evaluated to be safe as well when ${\Delta}_q/{\Delta}{\delta}$ to load shows the tendency of constant increase.
