Fire-resistance paints are supposed to become intumescent and diminish heat transfer along the steel frames in case of a fire. If unsatisfactory fire-resistance paints which do not satisfy their standard specification are used, it may result in a severe disaster. Because satisfactory fire-resistance paints are hardly discriminated from the unsatisfactory ones by a simple visual inspection, more reliable and convenient onsite evaluation methods are necessary. Here we report the preliminary study result on the fire safety testing method for fire-resistance paints using an X-ray analysis method. It was found that the existence and quantity of effective constituents in fire-resistance paints can be detected by the X-ray analysis method. X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyses showed that P and Cl elements are much more enriched in fire-resistance paints, compared to normal paints. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analyses showed that ammonium polyphosphate is present as the main crystalline material in fire-resistance paints, but absent in normal paints. The X-ray analysis method is expected to be used for the onsite inspection of fire-resistance paints with the upcoming availability of portable XRF and XRD instruments.
The purpose of the study was to determine the suitability of the research model on the intentions of university students to watch mega sports events for people with disabilities to which the theory of planned behavior was applied, and to examine the influence relationship between variables. Based on the items of sub-variables derived from the previous research, the questionnaire was optimally constructed through expert meetings, validity, and reliability verification. For data analysis, Cronbach's 𝛼 and exploratory factor analysis were performed using SPSS 21.0, and structural equation model analysis (SEM) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were performed using AMOS 18.0. The results were as follows; first, as a result of verification of the research model of intentions of university students to watch mega sports events with people with disabilities to which the theory of planned behavior was applied, the evaluation indices of CFI, NFI, and IFI met the acceptance criteria, indicating that this research model was well suited. Second, as a result of examining the influence relationship of the research model on the intentions of university students to watch mega sports event for people with disabilities, it was found that the behavioral beliefs and normative beliefs of university students had a significantly positive (+) influence to intentions. However, it was found that there was a significantly negative (-) influence on the control beliefs to intentions.
Lateral displacement in the most complex-shaped tall buildings is caused by eccentric gravity loads which are induced by the difference in location between a center of mass and a center of stiffness. The lateral displacements obtained from analysis, using conventional procedures, are prone to overestimate the actual values because much of realignment efforts made during construction phase are ignored. In construction sequence analysis, the self-leveling of slab and the verticality of columns/walls could be considered at each construction stage. Moreover, the displacement compensation can be achieved by manual process such as re-centering - locating to global coordinates through surveying. Because the lateral displacement increases with the building height, it is necessary to set up adjustment plan through construction stage analysis in advance in order to result in displacements less than the allowable limits. Because analytical solution includes lots of assumptions, the pre-adjusting displacement should be reasonably controlled with considerations for the uncertainty due to these assumptions.

Total displacement under non-reinforcement is a quantitative index of rock mass behavior during tunnel excavation and depends widely upon geological characteristics. The primary purpose of this study is to suggest a rock mass evaluation method, well representing tunnel behavior during excavation, according to rock type. A 3-D numerical analysis was carried out, with consideration of the shape of tunnel section, excavation condition and so forth, in a sedimentary rock-based tunnel, and total displacements under non-reinforcement according to rock mass class were calculated. Finally, quantification analysis was carried out to assess correlation of the total displacement with RMR parameters. As the result, a modified RMR system fer quantification of rock mass behavior during tunnel excavation is suggested.
Major cities have strengthened their efforts to improve the environmental function of the urban forest through aspects of quantity and quality. Yet, it is difficult to propose both long-term improvement and management policy direction continuously due to a lack of evaluating method that social needs could be reflected. After all, effective strengthening of the function of an urban forest, composed of social and biotic environments, is essential to create evaluation criteria. Such data reflects a quantity variation and identifies the distribution and habitation of biotic sources as well. An assessment of utilization possibilities presents such values as a green connectivity, an ecological healthiness, and usage and access opportunities. Consequently, this research was executed to create an urban forest sustainability index that proposes a management and policy direction based on the evaluation of quantity and quality aspects. This study was processed by the following steps: a degree of importance of ecological aspect, a sub-classification index choice, and an examination of adequacy. This research was conducted from premises that urban forest had another functions comparisons to a natural forest. As a result, a criteria of sustainability should be considered to evaluate an ecological aspect, as well as the social and management aspects regarding human disturbance. This research is designed to develop an evaluation index for ecological aspect. In order to evaluate the ecological healthiness of an urban forest, a vegetation index considers aspects of related rarity, damage possibility, naturalness, area, and diversity. In a wildbird index-related study, forest duration and area were selected. Finally, a variance analysis is presented, inclusive of stability, naturalness, diversity, potentiality, and possibility of wildlife inhabitation, which is indicative of an urban forest sustainability index.
In this paper, in the last 4 years(2014~2017 school year), we classified the probability and statistical items based on the evaluation scope of the mathematics subject content knowledge which were presented by the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation, and the classified items were analyzed. As a result, First, in order to induce normalization of the probability and statistical curriculum, four assessment field should be evenly distributed. Second, integrated thinking and comprehensive analytical thinking assessment is required. Third, item an epilogue should be used to measure mathematical thinking and logical competence. Fourth, the ratio of the number of items in probability and statistics to the number of that was 7.7%~10.0%, and the ratio according to the item weighting was 5.0%~7.5%. Fifth, it maintains the policy of stabilizing a good the level of difficulty of the items. Finally, probability and statistical assessment should focus on measuring problem solving ability from an inductive point of view.
AS the number of tourist has been increased. hotel industry will be able to not be existed and developed if not adapted to the need of customer's which is changed according to the change of Hotel's function. Traditionally. F&B department is enlarged compared to the past. But. it cause negative result in terms of clear profit. A menu is a marketing tool which delivers restaurant's image aid message to customers and communicate need and wants to restaurant. So far, studies on menu have been done in an analytical way from a management's viewpoint and inadequate to reflect customer's need and wants. A research on customer's menu selection procedure is critical to satisfying their needs and wants yield profit. This study examined the theories on menu-design and customer behavior through literature review and verified hypotheses through an empirical analysis. A questionnaire-survey had been used in luxury hotel's main grills and all most restaurants in Seoul. Collected data were analyzed. using SPSS/PC+ package. The important findings are as follows. In this study is to examine the factors that have an influence on customer's menu selection. The factors affected the customers' menu selection of hotel restaurant in the four factors. Four factors are hotel's restaurant of environmental factor. menu-choice factor. value of menu items, information. Correction between the evaluation criteria and selection of menu was examined. All four evaluation criteria, menu-choice factor was found to be most strongly collected with selection of menu. In conclusion, As a study on the Customer' menu Selection Behavior factor of Restaurant Menus in Hotels, It raises to exert us in the menu management of hotel restaurant.
This study was carried out to evaluate high-school students' nutrient intakes according to the status of depressive trends, and to analyse the in physical and mental health status. The volunteers were 560 high school students selected from 8 provinces, but 511 students were analyzed. A was used for evaluation, The questions were composed in consideration of socio-demographic characteristics, physical health condition by CMI, mental condition assessed by a modified Zung's self-rating depression scale (SDS), and the evaluation of food consumption by a 24 hours recall method. The family situations of the subjects were mostly nuclear family(73%), agricultural work(53%), and having religion(53%). Only 3% of the students suffered depression where as 19% showed depression trendencies. The individual factors that affected their mental condition were family farming and consciousness of academic accomplishment. The health status counted with CMI was 6.2/20 scores. The non-depressed trend group of students had a lower score of CMI than others. The overall nutrient intakes of students were low compared with the Korean RDA for adolescents. The Mean Adequacy Ratio(MAR) of nutrient intakes was only $0.45{\pm}0.23$. Iron, vitamin A, and riboflavin intakes were significantly low and correlated with depressive trend score. The result from the regression analysis showed that CMI, study accomplishment, and vitamin A were the most significant factors influencing mental condition. We concluded that Korean rural high-school students were healthy in mental condition and showed lower rates of depression academic. For there more we could say that the intakes of iron and vitamin A also influenced mental health. Findings confirmed the need of becoming hopeful job of farming and better nutritional status. These situations would be necessary for students to ameliorate the quality of rural living.
The purpose of this study is to quantitatively analyze the impacts of the distribution of easing contraction of the sleeve on the external appearance of bodice and sleeve through virtual clothing simulation. Virtual clothing is conducted by differentiating the sleeve easing in accordance with the experimental condition of bodice and sleeve that are followed by draping. And then the evaluation is carried out. As a result of an analysis of the similarity between the virtual garment and the actual clothing, the whole external appearance of the bodice and sleeve was expressed similarly. The external appearance according to the distribution of easing contraction got better as the easing contraction of sleeve was concentrated on sleeve cap in front while the appearance was better at the back as it was more gently distributed than in the front. In a comparison of armhole form, the clothing of which the top of it was most similar to S0 was S4 in which the gap between the armhole and the arm was the least and the front and rear silhouette fell relatively well. In a comparison between the position of bust circumference line and that of the sleeve base line, the front of the sleeve matched the bust circumference line as the easing contraction was distributed close to the center of the sleeve cap while in the back, the sleeve base line and the bust circumference line matched when some easing contraction ratio was added close to the armpit point. The cross section figures of garment space of the shoulder, the margin was evenly distributed in S4 or S5 with differing distributions of easing contraction in the front and the back. This study is significant in that it supplies the objective baseline data which makes a novice more able to make a good external appearance of the sleeve.
