The main focus of this research is the establishment of a systemic evaluation model based on objective evaluation indices, which are drawn to assess the experiencing of nature and recreational value at the level of the district unit. First of all, as a result of a literature review, a total of 10 indices can be drawn including vegetation structure, pavement rate, and hemeroby to evaluate an assessment of natural experiences and recreational value. Also, as a result of expert survey analysis, all evaluation index items were above 4.4, which is a high importance average. Hemeroby and unique landscape factor items in particular were above 5.8, which is very high. In addition, as a result of implementing a factor analysis to classify evaluation indices according to characteristics, three factors arise: 'landscape structure and quality of natural experience', 'typical availability', and 'quality of aesthetic and visual sense.' Based on the above survey analysis results, the 'quality of aesthetic and visual sense' was the highest, at 3.510. The classification 'landscape structure and quality of natural experience' was the lowest, at 3.035. A systemic value evaluation model was established by comprehensively analyzing these results. To verify the validity of the evaluation model drawn, real sites are selected and applied. First of all, as a result of a biotope types classification of sites, biotope type groups are classified into a total of 13 including the stream biotope while its subordinate biotope types are classified into a total of 61 groups. Lastly, as a result of biotope value evaluation, which was a previously established evaluation model, there are a total of 16 types including vegetation-abundant natural rivers and small-scale woodlands near forests in grade I. There are 9 types in grade II, 8 in grade III, 8 in grade IV, 19 in the least-valuable grade V.
OBJECTIVES : This study develops an evaluation method, which is useful to inspect pavement condition of specific boroughs. This is because pavement condition is broadly divided into five grades via visual inspection, which does not consider the types of deteriorations, and is decided by an investigator having a subjective viewpoint. This visual inspection method is not a satisfactory method for accurate maintenance when various deteriorations occur. METHODS : The performance model considers several factors such as crack, rutting, and IRI. This method is also modified from borough SPI based on SPI (Seoul Pavement Index). Considering limited budget of borough, PI (prediction index) is suggested, which is related to the grade of pavement condition evaluation and type of materials. Practical correlation review is also conducted with statistical verification by using the Monte Carlo simulation. RESULTS : The results of the study show that modified criteria are reasonable. First, the comparison between the visual inspection result and the SPI result indicates that the R-square value is sufficiently high. Second, through the common section, each evaluation method could be compared, and the result shows considerable similarity, which increases when the range is modified. Finally, PI for predicting remaining life and the random number SPI have common parts, which means that each indicator would be adequate to be used as an evaluation method. CONCLUSIONS : Comparison and analysis results show that the developed evaluation method is reasonable for specific boroughs where financial support is inadequate for the evaluation process by using the newer equipment. Moreover, for more accurate evaluation method, previous visual inspection data should be utilized, and the database of inspection equipment have to be collected.

This study introduces the fragility analysis method for the safety evaluation of reinforced concrete pier subject to earthquake. Damage probability is calculated instead of the failure probability from definition of the damage state in the fragility curve. Not only the damage model determined by the response of structure subject to earthquake, but also the plastic-damage model which can represent the local damage is applied to fragility analysis. The evaluation method of damage state by damage variable in global structure is defined by this procedure. This study introduces the fragility analysis method considering the features of nonlinear time history behavior of reinforced concrete element and the plastic behavior of materials. At last, This study gives one of the approach method for seismic margin evaluation with the result of fragility analysis to design seismic load.
In this study, POE(Post Occupancy Evaluation) evaluation indexes were selected into six categories through the consideration of theories and prior research. Therefore, qualitative supply can be achieved through POE according to the aspect of residential environment after the quantitative supply of mixed-use apartment complex by the population concentration in Seoul due to industrialization and urbanization. As the evaluation elements, detailed survey contents were selected for livability, convenience, comfort, safety, economy, and sociality. Based on the survey contents, six elements were evaluated and analyzed using Data coding and Likert scale after surveying 12 complexes (Urban areas and non-urban areas) in Seoul. As a result of the study, six categories selected as the POE showed that importance of quality of life and safety was developed in high recognition according to high satisfaction with convenience and safety. Sociality showed the lowest satisfaction in the following order : livability, comfort, economy and sociality. Residents' sense of community, interaction with neighborhood, etc., showed low satisfaction, and it seems that it is necessary to improve and supplement the system for the development of mixed-use apartment complex in the future. The detailed characteristics of livability showed high satisfaction of the living room, the front door and the main room which are main uses of housing, and low satisfaction in storage size. The analysis of convenience is that convenient public transportation was the highest, and educational environment and additional facilities were the lowest, showing the advantages and disadvantages of location characteristics. As a result of the analysis of comfort, satisfaction with the landscape area was low and it seems that green space is needed for the development of mixed-use apartment complex in the future. Lastly, regarding the safety, the satisfaction of the access control, the location of security office, etc. were high, however separation of circulation was low. Therefore, it is necessary to clearly separate the circulation between the residence and other facilities in the mixed-use apartment complex.
Online content evaluation standards were suggested in order to improve quality of education for informatics gifted students in this paper. This evaluation standards were developed by thinking and learning style and characteristics of gifted students which were presented in preceding research. The evaluation standards were reviewed through reliability analysis as well as analysis of the characteristics of items and validity analysis by experts of informatics gifted student education sector. In the result of analysis, reliability of items has been very reliable. Level of difficulty and discrimination about the characteristics of items has also shown satisfactory value. Developed the evaluation standards has 5 evaluation categories such as "talent development", "Interaction", and others. It also has 11 evaluation factors and 40 evaluation items. The online content evaluation standards can be helpful and useful in order to develop qualitative online contents and select online contents for informatics gifted student.
This study suggested how to apply it decision-making of product development rapidly by design evaluation process to objectify and the result to quantify with viewpoint of design evaluation sets to marketability. Coverage of this method limited to the evaluation stage of design concept. The procedure of study, first of all, referred to some type of design evaluation method and their feature. And next, referred to some kinds of demand forecasting for marketing. Above an, this study focused on the method of demand forecasting by buying intentions surveys proper to the marketability evaluation of new product design. On a case study, I had investigated preference survey and buying intentions surveys about the design proposal of "language master audio". I selected the best design proposal through the conjoint analysis and also investigated demand forecasting. First, on the basis of buying intentions surveys, choose population and had produced buying demand, awareness demand, potential demand. I could estimate some profit to take out expense and cost from the buying demand. This estimated profit is marketability judgement data of product design at the design concept stage and can be utilized to measurable data for decision-making of product development. Through the case study, this method could forecast a target demand, and even if it is some difference between real sales volume, but the case study could verified that this method is effective to the evaluation of marketability in case of completely new product got on the typical category and the product category could be set up the population clearly.

The purpose of this study is to construct a database for landscape ecological planning with evaluation and analysis of structure of biotope of city center area for the preservation of species and biotope examining Jung-gu district of Daegu Metropolitan City which is the most extremely and rapidly urbanizing area. The assumption of this study is that the biotope structure of a city center area would be different from the other city area. The results of this study were as follows. 1) The results of the biotope type classification is that there were 11 biotope type groups and 41 detailed biotopes. 2) The primary evaluation is the process for grading general value of classified biotope types, and the result of primary evaluation is that there were 5 biotope types that were greater than third grade besides the biotope type of artificial riverbank with abundant green high water level land. The first grade of biotope type have not appeared in this area, however the fifth grade of biotope type have appeared total of 19 biotope types with the biotope type of the general shopping area with scarce green fields. 3) The secondary evaluation is the process for searching biotopes which are special value, and the result of secondary evaluation is that there were 2 biotopes for la, 7 biotopes for 1b, 2 biotopes for 2a, 1 biotope for 2b and there was no biotope for 2c, and for example, la is the large area that has many magor biotope site in terms of the living space. 4) Finally. scientific method for biotope type classification, the derailed investigation plan of high value biotope and the improvement plan based on the biotope map of city center area must be continued.
In this study, the purpose is to present the foot inclination angle for realizing an image similar to that of the existing examination method and to present the clinical usefulness of the new examination method through comparison between the existing examination method and the newly designed standing foot oblique projection. A foot phantom was used, and the magnification of the image according to the angle was quantitatively evaluated by attaching a nut to the position of the cuboid of the phantom. The internal oblique image acquired using a 30° wedge was set as the standard image. And that image was compared with the images acquired by changing the angle of the foot from 20° to 65° at intervals of 5°. Image evaluation was performed by 3 radiological technologists, and qualitative evaluation using a Likert 5-point scale for evaluation items of true oblique view and quantitative evaluation of the value obtained by measuring the diameter of a nut in each image were performed as image evaluation. For data analysis, reliability analysis between the measure and comparative analysis of the average value for each angle were performed. The qualitative evaluation score for each image was 4.5 to 5 points for most questions in the case of the standard image. And 4 points or less for most questions in the images with a foot angle of 45° or less, and an evaluation score close to the standard image was obtained in the image of 50° or more. And in the quantitative evaluation, the diameter of the nut was measured to be 9.28~9.56 mm. The qualitative evaluation showed a reliability of 0.95~1.0 and the quantitative evaluation was 0.62. As a result of comparing and analyzing the average of the quantitative and qualitative average values for each angle image, the group with the average value most similar to the standard image was images obtained at 55° and 60°, and in the post-analysis, the images of both groups were the same group as the standard image(p<0.01). As a result of this study, it was found that the angle of inclination of the foot for realizing the image most similar to the existing image in the standing foot oblique projection is 55°~60°. In addition, if this test method is applied to the clinic, it is believed that it will help prevent safety accidents such as falls during the test and improve test efficiency by minimizing the movement of patients for the test.

This study was intended to identify the constructing factors and the evaluative dimensions of clothing images. A questionnaire consisted of 110 words expressing clothing images was developed, and eight clothing photographs were selected as stimuli. 298 female subjects aged between 22 to 37 responsed to the 110 words for two photographs during September in 1991. After survey, 110 words were reduced to 62 words based on their independence, then factor analysis was conducted. As a result of factor analysis,6 factors-grace, modernity, unattractive- ness, activeness, dressiness, and youthfulness were found out as constructing factors of clothing images. One additional interest was the effect of design line to the formation of clothing images. ANOVA identified that curved line designs were perceived to be more graceful, modern, dressy, and youthful, and straight line designs were perceived to be more unattractive and active. The other interest was the effect of image factors to the total evaluation. So, regression was used. Consequently, the most influential factor to the total evaluation was found out as grace, followed by unattractiveness, modernity, youthfulness and activeness in a descending order. To identify the evaluative dimensions of clothing images, nine words of unattractiveness image factor were eliminated, and multidimensional scaling analysis was employed. Here, three dimensions were judged to be appropriate to explain the result. The first dimension in the multidimensional space was the evaluation in 'mannish image versus feminine image'. The second was the evaluation in 'simple image versus decorative image'. The third was the evaluation in 'pastoral image versus urbane image'.
There are Two new models developed for objective evaluation of fabric color patterns by applying a multiple regression analysis and an adaptive foray-rule-based system. The physical features of fabric color patterns are extracted through digital image processing and the emotional features are collected based on the psychological experiments of Soen[3, 4]. The principle physical features are hue, saturation, intensity and the texture of color patterns. The emotional features arc represented thirteen pairs of adverse adjectives. The multiple regression analyses and the adaptive fuzzy system are used as a tool to analyze the relations between physical and emotional features. As a result, both of the proposed models show competent performance for the approximation and the similar linguistic interpretation to the Soen's psychological experiments.
