Cloud provides dynamically scalable virtualized computing resources as a service over the Internet. To achieve higher resource utilization over virtualization technology, an optimized strategy that deploys virtual machines on physical machines is needed. That is, the total number of active physical host nodes should be dynamically changed to correspond to their resource usage rate, thereby maintaining optimum utilization of physical machines. In this paper, we propose a pattern-based prediction model for resource provisioning which facilitates best possible resource preparation by analyzing the resource utilization and deriving resource usage patterns. The focus of our work is on predicting future resource requests by optimized dynamic resource management strategy that is applied to a virtualized data center in a Cloud computing environment. To this end, we build a prediction model that is based on user request patterns and make a prediction of system behavior for the near future. As a result, this model can save time for predicting the needed resource amount and reduce the possibility of resource overuse. In addition, we studied the performance of our proposed model comparing with conventional resource provisioning models under various Cloud execution conditions. The experimental results showed that our pattern-based prediction model gives significant benefits over conventional models.

The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of internet resource-based problem-based learning on the academic achievement in science and the attitude toward science of elementary school students. One experiment class and one control class of grade 6 students were selected to perform a prior investigation on the academic achievement in science and the attitude toward science, then the experiment class attended 4 weeks of lessons that was applied the internet resource-based problem-based learning, and the control class attended the traditional lessons based on the guidelines of teachers. After conducting lessons, a post investigation was performed for each class and the results were analyzed to produce the following conclusions. First, the internet resource-based problem-based learning could be seen to be effective in improving the students' academic achievements in science. The internet resource-based problem-based learning seemed to make students recognize the lesson details better and grasp well the questions given during lessons from the process of finding solutions among many informations and data on the internet. Second, the internet resource-based problem-based learning had a positive effect on all attitudes' areas toward science of students. It looked like that the internet resource-based problem-based learning taught the students to use the internet resources and gave them a friendly feeling, so the children could actively participate in class and had positive recognition on science. Third, from teacher observation and the result of the student recognition investigation, we could know that the students showed lots of interests in the internet resource-based problem-based learning, and they were able to understand the scientific theories in the process of solving problems that were relevant to real life, and thought science in a positive way.

Recently, artificial intelligence techniques have been widely used in the computer science field, such as the Internet of Things, big data, cloud computing, and mobile computing. In particular, resource management is of utmost importance for maintaining the quality of services, service-level agreements, and the availability of the system. In this paper, we review and analyze various ways to meet the requirements of cloud resource management based on artificial intelligence. We divide cloud resource management techniques based on artificial intelligence into three categories: fog computing systems, edge-cloud systems, and intelligent cloud computing systems. The aim of the paper is to propose an intelligent resource management scheme that manages mobile resources by monitoring devices' statuses and predicting their future stability based on one of the artificial intelligence techniques. We explore how our proposed resource management scheme can be extended to various cloud-based systems.

다각화 분야 내에서 자원공유의 사안을 다루는 연구들은 경영자원의 '공유'에 주목하였고, '경영자원'에 대한 관심은 부족하였다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 자원기반관점의 핵심적인 변수들과 논리들을 토대로 자원공유의 결정요인과 성과함의에 대해 접근하였다. 본 연구는 우리나라 35개 기업집단의 계열사 263개를 대상으로 실시된 설문조사를 토대로 경영자원의 양적 수준, 질적 수준, 활용성이 계열사 간 자원공유에 미치는 영향에 대한 가설을 수립하고 다중회귀분석을 통해 검증하였으며, 성과함의와 관련하여 경영자원의 양적 수준과 자원공유, 경영자원의 질적 수준과 자원공유, 경영자원의 활용성과 자원공유의 상호작용이 계열사의 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 가설을 수립하고 상호작용항이 포함된 다중회귀분석을 통해 검증하였다. 가설검증 결과, 경영자원의 양적 수준이 낮을수록, 질적 수준이 높을수록, 활용성이 높을수록 자원공유의 정도는 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 경영자원의 양적 수준이 낮을수록, 활용성이 높을수록 계열사 간 자원공유가 성과에 미치는 긍정적인 영향이 증가하는 것으로 확인되었다. 하지만 경영자원의 질적 수준은 자원공유와 성과의 관계에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 본 연구는 경영자원의 질적 수준 및 활용성이 가설과는 상반된 방향으로 자원공유에 영향을 미치는 이유, 경영자원의 질적 수준이 자원공유에는 긍정적으로 작용하지만 성과향상으로 이어지지 않은 이유, 경영자원의 유형에 따라 가설검증의 결과가 달라지는지의 여부 등을 충분히 다루지 못했는데, 향후 연구에서는 이에 대한 보다 심화된 논의가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

The main purpose of this paper Is to develop the Management Resource Analysis System for KOTRA which is based on Activity Based Costing(ABC). Because the products and services of KOTRA are exclusive and include a government subsidy, we need develop a different system from the private firm's ABC system. The Management Resource Analysis System that we propose is embodied using JAVA and JSP within an UNIX environment and developed as a Web-enabling base. It is expected for aiding a manager's decision-making such as resource inquiry, standard resource analysis, estimating the ratio of a government subsidy, case based reasoning, what-if analysis. The results of this paper suggest what points are to be considered when we apply ABC for Government Investment Corporation.

본 논문에서는 그리드 컴퓨팅의 기존 자원 거래망 모델들의 문제점을 분석하고, 해결하기 위한 새로운 자원 거래 모델을 제안한다. 이 모델은 사용자와 자원 공급자 사이의 거래 가격을 예측하고 합리적인 거래 가격을 제시한다. 합리적인 가격 제안을 통해, 사용자와 자원 공급자 사이의 더 많은 자원 거래를 발생시키고, 사용자는 더 짧은 시간에 자원을 공급받게 된다. 본 논문에서 사용자의 자원 요구량 예측 정확도를 향상시키기 위하여 통계학의 예측 모델을 도입하였고 합리적인 가격 제안을 위해 미시 경제학의 가격 결정 이론을 도입하였다. 본 모델의 성능 평가를 위하여 사용자의 자원 요구량 예측 정확도, 자원 거래를 위한 응답시간, 자원 거래 횟수 그리고 사용자의 자원 활용률을 측정하였다. 실험의 결과로는 자원 예측 정확도는 87.45%의 신뢰성 있는 결과를 얻었고, 기존 모델들에 비해 응답시간은 72.39% 단축 되었다. 또한, 자원 거래 횟수는 162.56% 증가 하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 모델의 평균 자원 활용률은 90%에 근접했으며 기존 모델들과 비교해서는 230%이상 자원 활용률이 증가 하였다.

This study aims to investigate the relationship between human resource competency, economic potential, and productivity of village-based enterprises, as well as understand the role of governance in mediating this relationship. This study was conducted in several village-based enterprises in Bali, Indonesia and the data were collected using questionnaires. Furthermore, the collected data were analyzed quantitatively using partial least analysis to confirm the relationship between variables. The findings indicate that human resource competency has an impact on governance, but it failed to explain the productivity of village-based enterprises. In addition, economic potential can have an impact on the governance and productivity of village-based enterprises in Bali, Indonesia. This study also showed a robust link between governance and productivity. Lastly, based on the statistical analysis, it was found that governance can mediate the relationship between human resource competency, economic potential, and productivity of village-based enterprises.

Recently, various wearable personal devices such as a smart watch have been developed and these personal devices are being miniaturized. The user desires to receive new services from personal devices as well as services that have been received from personal computers, anytime and anywhere. However, miniaturization of devices involves constraints on resources such as limited input and output and insufficient power. In order to solve these resource constraints, this paper proposes a resource collaboration system which provides a service by composing sharable resources in the resource sharing environment like IoT. the paper also propose a method to infer and recommend user-customized resources among various sharable resources. For this purpose, the paper defines an ontology for resource inference. This paper also classifies users behavior types based on a user model and then uses them for resource recommendation. The paper implements the proposed method as a prototype system on a personal device with limited resources developed for resource collaboration and shows the effectiveness of the proposed method by evaluating user satisfaction.

This paper investigates relationship between information technology(IT) and firm's performance. Responses from 101 companies relating to their experiences with IT implementation are presented. In this paper, it is assumed that companies' resource classified as the human, business, and IT resource relying on resource-based view, and its performance as the overall performance and IT performance. The findings show that IT resource among companies' resource is most strongly correlated with its performance. In particular, IT-intensive firms show better the overall performance than IT-lagging firms.

The purpose of this study is to review the concept of home-based work, introduce the activities of American home economists on home-based work and propose the tasks of family resource management for home-based work. Home-based works is defined as the work which generates income at home and classified 3 types: home-based business, employed home-based work and homework. The activities of American scholars are reviewed focusing on the Coorperative Regional Research Project, NE-167, entitled "At-Home Income Generation: Impact on Management, Productivity and Stability in Rural/Urban Families"and the participants of the project. Finally the tasks of family resource management are pursued in terms of research, education and service.d service.
