컴퓨터로 설계한 홀로그램 광 저대역 필터의 특성 분석 (The Characteristics of Computer-Generated Holographic Optical Low-Pass Filter)

  • Since the grating optical low-pass fillet degrades the resolution of images, we developed a hologram optical low-pass filter that show low degradation of the image and studied its characteristics. We designed the hologram that divides input beam into circular shaped 21 beams with a Monte-Carlo based hologram generation program and calculated its MTE characteristics to compare it with that of a grating filter. The hologram was manufactured through the optical lithography process and attached to a digital imaging device (Zoran 732212) for measurement. The moirfiltering is compared with zone plate images and the resolution loss is measured with USAF resolution chart. The hologram optical low-pass filter showed better characteristics in both moly filtering and resolution.

Characteristics of Multi-Spatial Resolution Satellite Images for the Extraction of Urban Environmental Information

  • The coefficients of variation obtained from three typical vegetation indices of eight levels of multi-spatial resolution images in urban areas were employed to identify the optimum spatial resolution in terms of maintaining information quality. These multi-spatial resolution images were prepared by degrading 1 meter simulated, 16 meter ADEOS/AVNIR, and 30 meter Landsat-TM images. Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Perpendicular Vegetation Index (PVI) and Soil Adjusted Ratio Vegetation Index (SARVI) were applied to reduce data redundancy and compare the characteristics of multi-spatial resolution image of vegetation indices. The threshold point on the curve of the coefficient of variation was defined as the optimum resolution level for the analysis with multi-spatial resolution image sets. Also, the results from the image segmentation approach of region growing to extract man-made features were compared with these multi-spatial resolution image sets.

초등학생의 성별, 문화성향과 친구간 갈등해결전략 (Gender, Cultural Disposition and Peer Conflict Resolution Strategies of Elementary School Children)

  • In this study, characteristics of cultural disposition and peer conflict resolution strategies and the relationship between cultural dispositions and peer conflict resolution strategies of elementary school children were investigated. In order to achieve this research purpose, the following research questions were established. First, what are the characteristics of cultural dispositions that children have? Second, what are the characteristics of conflict resolution strategies that children use? Third, what are the relationships between cultural dispositions and peer conflict resolution strategies? The subjects of this study were 564(283 male and 281 female) 5th and 6th graders. Research instruments used to collect data were INDCOL and Conflict Resolution Strategy Scale. Collected data were analyzed using Descriptives, t-test, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, Cross-tabs and Two-way ANOVA. As a whole, children strongly showed collectivistic pattern and there were no sex differences in terms of cultural dispositions. The distributions of styles were in the order of HC>VI>VC>HI. The distribution of conflict resolution strategies generally were in the order of integrating and compromising>Avoiding>Dominating>Obliging for total sample and there were significant sex differences in the styles of conflict resolution strategies. This study also found that there were significant correlations between cultural dispositions and conflict resolution strategies. integrating/compromising and dominating style were different according to cultural dispositions but there were no interactive effect of sex and cultural dispositions in conflict resolution strategies. Finally, the implications of this study on theory and practice were discussed and suggestions for further study were made.

해상도 변화에 따른 공간 데이터의 구조특성 분석 (Analysis of Spatial Structure in Geographic Data with Changing Spatial Resolution)

  • 공간상에 분포한 각종 지리사상들은 다양한 분석기법을 통하여 분포특성과 패턴이 파악된다. 이때 축척(scale)은 공간분석 기법에서 연구자가 고려해야 할 중요한 요인중의 하나이다. 이 연구에서는 해상도 저감에 따라 변화하는 공간 데이터의 구조특성을 표현할 수 있는 기법을 비교 분석하여 공간분석에 필요한 적정해상도의 모색과정에 이용하고자 한다. 순천만 해안습지의 LANSAT TM 데이터를 대상으로 하여, 데이터의 구조특성이 해상도에 따라 변화하는 특성을 살펴보고 이를 반영할 수 있는 해상도 특성 지수들을 비교평가 하였다. 기존에 개발된 국지적 분산(local variance)과 프랙탈차원을 적용하였고, 해상도 변화과정에서 파생되는 분산 데이터의 공간분포 패턴을 표현하는 지수로 공간적 자기관도인 Moran´s I를 측정하였다. 구조특성 분석기법을 적용한 결과 기존에 개발된 국지적 분산과 프랙탈 차원보다는 분산 데이터의 공간적 자기상관도가 구조특성을 분석하는 기법으로 적합하게 나타났다. 공간적 자기상관도가 정점인 해상도에서 공간 데이터의 변화가 심하게 나타나고 있다. 공간 데이터의 구조특성은 탐색하는 기법으로 분산 데이터의 공간적 자기상관도가 효과적인 지수로 작용할 수 있다.

볼스크류로 구동되는 유정압테이블의 미소이송특성 향상 (Improvement of Microstep Characteristics in Hydrostatic Table with Ballscrew)

  • Microstep characteristics largely depends on the variation of friction force induced by the geometric accuracy of ballscrew, guide rail and the control characteristics of servo unit. In this paper, for improving the microstep characteristics of hydrostatic table with ballscrew, microstep resolution according to the control mode of servo amplifier and response characteristic by the variation of integral gain are tested and compared. Relationship between micro motion behavior of hydrostatic table and the output torque is also tested for acquiring the effective variables on control characteristics. From the results. it is confirmed that the torque control mode has a advantage in microstep resolution, and more stable than velocity control mode in low feed rate, and by the increase of integral gain in the elastic motion realm, response characteristics can be improved.

  • KOMPSAT-2, the first Korean high resolution earth observing satellite, continuously acquires high resolution images since July 2006. The quality of satellite images should be geometrically and radiometrically ensured before distribution to users. This study focused on absolute radiometric calibration which is a prerequisite procedure to ensure the radiometric quality of optical satellite images. In this study, we performed reflectance-based vicarious calibration methods on several uniform targets collected through several field campaigns in 2007. The radiative transfer model, MODTRAN, was used to estimate the amount of energy received at the sensor. The energy reached at the sensor are affected by several factors such as reflectance of targets, atmospheric condition, geometry condition between Sun and the sensor, etc. This study proposes the absolute radiometric calibration coefficients of KOMPSAT-2 MSC images combining several types of collected data through field works and tried to compare dynamic range of sensor-detected energy with other commercial high resolution sensors.

Multi-Temporal Spectral Analysis of Rice Fields in South Korea Using MODIS and RapidEye Satellite Imagery

  • Space-borne remote sensing is an effective and inexpensive way to identify crop fields and detect the crop condition. We examined the multi-temporal spectral characteristics of rice fields in South Korea to detect their phenological development and condition. These rice fields are compact, small-scale parcels of land. For the analysis, moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS) and RapidEye images acquired in 2011 were used. The annual spectral tendencies of different crop types could be detected using MODIS data because of its high temporal resolution, despite its relatively low spatial resolution. A comparison between MODIS and RapidEye showed that the spectral characteristics changed with the spatial resolution. The vegetation index (VI) derived from MODIS revealed more moderate values among different land-cover types than the index derived from RapidEye. Additionally, an analysis of various VIs using RapidEye satellite data showed that the VI adopting the red edge band reflected crop conditions better than the traditionally used normalized difference VI.

위성영상의 적정 해상도 탐색 방안에 관한 연구 (A Procedure to Select the Optimum Resolution for Satellite Imagery)

  • 원격탐사 영상은 해상도가 변화함에 따라 축척 효과에 의해 영상의 특성이 변화한다. 연구자는 다양한 해상도의 원격탐사 영상으로부터 연구에 적합한 공간적 현상이 나타나는 적정 해상도를 선택할 필요가 있다. 특정 지리현상은 특정 축척에서 가장 잘 표현될 수 있기 때문이다. 이와같이 공간현상을 명확하게 설명하기 위해서는 이러한 현상이 나타나는 축척이나 공간 해상도를 적절히 선정하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 위성영상의 적정 해상도를 탐색하기 위하여 구조특성과 분광분리도를 측정하는 지수들을 살펴보고 이를 이용하여 적정 해상도를 모색하는 과정을 제시하였다. 연구의 수행과정엥서 제안한 해상도 특성 측정지수와 적정 해상도 모색과정을 순천만의 위성영상에 적용하여 그 효용성을 평가하였다. 원격탐사 영상으로부터 적정 해상도를 선정하기 위해 제안한 2단계의 탐색절차를 시험한 결과 적정 해상도 탐색이 가능하였고 분류정확도와의 상관관계도 높게 나타났다. 2단계의 적정 해상도 탐색절차는 연구지역의 지리현상을 반영하는 해상도를 모색하는 기법으로 이용될 수 있다.

지형자료의 해상도와 공간보간기법에 따른 다차원 수리모형의 유출 특성 평가 (An Assessment on the Hydraulic Characteristics of a Multi-dimensional Model in Response to Measurement Resolution and Spatial Interpolation Methods)

  • 수변공간 및 수자원에 대한 효율적 활용 요구가 증대됨에 따라 하천의 수리적인 특성을 보다 정밀하게 모의하고 이를 활용한 의사결정이 필요하다. EFDC 모형은 이러한 의사결정을 지원하기 위한 다차원 수리모형으로 3차원 정밀지형을 활용하여 수체의 수리적인 특성을 분석할 수 있다. 그러나 EFDC 모형의 입력자료로 활용되는 3차원 정밀지형의 경우, 측량간격과 지형보간기법에 의해 많은 영향을 받게 되며 3차원 정밀지형의 변화에 따라 대상 수체의 수리적인 특성이 영향을 받게 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 다른 측량간격 및 지형보간기법에 따라 도출된 3차원 정밀지형이 EFDC 모형의 모의결과에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 연구 대상지역은 낙동강 금호강 유입구간이며, 검토 사상은 2006년 강우사상에 대한 수치모의를 수행하고, 면적-고도 곡선, 수위 및 유속의 모의결과를 비교 분석하였다. 분석결과, 동일한 측량 간격에서는 지형보간기법에 따른 면적고도곡선의 차이는 크지 않았으나, 측량 간격이 160m에서 모든 보간기법에서 차이가 발생하였고 측량간격이 80m 이상이 되면 하상단면의 변화가 발생하였다. 또한, 수위의 경우에 Kriging을 제외한 나머지 기법은 해상도에 따른 차이가 크지 않았고, Kriging은 160m 측량간격에서 다른 기법에 비해 차이가 크게 나타났다. 유속의 경우, 80m 측량간격이상에서 각 보간기법별 차이가 나타나기 시작했으며 160m 측량간격에서 Kriging은 다른 보간기법과 큰 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

COMPOUNDED METHOD FOR LAND COVERING CLASSIFICATION BASED ON MULTI-RESOLUTION SATELLITE DATA

  • As to the synthetical estimation of land covering parameters or the compounded land covering classification for multi-resolution satellite data, former researches mainly adopted linear or nonlinear regression models to describe the regression relationship of land covering parameters caused by the degradation of spatial resolution, in order to improve the retrieval accuracy of global land covering parameters based on 1;he lower resolution satellite data. However, these methods can't authentically represent the complementary characteristics of spatial resolutions among different satellite data at arithmetic level. To resolve the problem above, a new compounded land covering classification method at arithmetic level for multi-resolution satellite data is proposed in this .paper. Firstly, on the basis of unsupervised clustering analysis of the higher resolution satellite data, the likelihood distribution scatterplot of each cover type is obtained according to multiple-to-single spatial correspondence between the higher and lower resolution satellite data in some local test regions, then Parzen window approach is adopted to derive the real likelihood functions from the scatterplots, and finally the likelihood functions are extended from the local test regions to the full covering area of the lower resolution satellite data and the global covering area of the lower resolution satellite is classified under the maximum likelihood rule. Some experimental results indicate that this proposed compounded method can improve the classification accuracy of large-scale lower resolution satellite data with the support of some local-area higher resolution satellite data.
