This study was carried out with the detection for multiresidue of the carbamate pesticide such as carbaryl and cabofuran by enzyme-inhibition method. The check time for determination of acetylcholinesterase(AChE) activity was selected at 60 sec. The AChE activity in chicken brain determined by the Ellman's method was $162{\mu}$mol/min/g protein. $I_{50}$ for AChE by carbamate pesticide with wet kit was 0.169mg/L of carbaryl and 0.089mg/L of cabofuran, respectively. The incubation time for enzyme kit with substrate kit was 30min for determination of AChE activity. Enzyme kit with substrate kit was stable at $4^{\circ}C\;and\;25^{\circ}C$ for 5 days. Limit detection concentration of carbaryl with dry kit for AChE was 0.05mg/L. The dry kit such as wet kit applied Enzyme-Inhibition(EI) method with AChE was confirmed the multi residue method to detect the carbamate pesticides.
OBJECTIVES : The objective of this research is to develop additives for the modification of Solvent DeAsphalting Residue (SDAR) to be used as pavement materials, and evaluate the performance of asphalt mixture manufactured using the SDAR modified by developed additives. METHODS : The SDAR generally consists of more asphaltenes and less oil components compared to the conventional asphalt binder, and hence, the chemical/physical properties of SDAR are different from that of conventional asphalt binder. In this research, the additives are developed using the low molecular oil-based plasticizer to improve the properties of SDAR. First, the chemical property of two SDARs is analyzed using SARA (saturate, aromatic, resin, and asphaltene) method. The physical/rheological properties of SDARs and SDARs containing additives are also evaluated based on PG-grade method and dynamic shear-modulus master curve. Second, various laboratory tests are conducted for the asphalt mixture manufactured using the SDAR modified with additives. The laboratory tests conducted in this study include the mix design, compactibility analysis, indirect tensile test for moisture susceptibility, dynamic modulus test for rheological property, wheel-tracking test for rutting performance, and direct tension fatigue test for cracking performance. RESULTS : The PG-grade of SDARs is higher than PG 76 in high temperature grades and immeasurable in low temperature grades. The dynamic shear modulus of SDARs is much higher than that of conventional asphalt, but the modified SDARs with additives show similar modulus compared to that of conventional asphalt. The moisture susceptibility of asphalt mixture with modified SDARs is good if, the anti-stripping agent is included. The performance (dynamic modulus, rutting resistance, and fatigue resistance) of asphalt mixture with modified SDARs is comparable to that of conventional asphalt mixture when appropriate amount of additives is added. CONCLUSIONS : The saturate component of SDARs is much less than that of conventional asphalt, and hence, it is too hard and brittle to be used as pavement materials. However, the modified SDARs with developed additives show comparable or better rheological/physical properties compared to that of conventional asphalt depending on the type of SDAR and the amount of additives used.

The proficiency testing for the residue laboratories of pesticide registration was conducted in order to improve the reliability and the ability for pesticide residue analysis. On November 2012 the testing was carried out using the soil collected and kept as the moistened state for five years, which was expected to very low residue levels of pesticides. The soil was fortified with azoxystrobin, imidacloprid and methabenzthiazuron in a manner similar to prepare soil samples for indoor soil degradation test, and then sub-samples were prepared for the distribution to participants. Some of them were randomly selected for confirm of homogeneity and to ensure the stability of samples at room temperature. Samples were consisted of two soils treated as different levels, one of which was used to the assessment and another used to confirm. In addition, provided three standard solutions, respectively concentration of 10 mg/L, and untreated soil. Forty eight institutions submitted results. The medians of results were used as the assigned values for pesticide residues. Fitness for purpose standard deviation of proficiency test was calculated by applying 20% RSD as the coefficient of variation allowed in the soil residue test. Z-score was applied for evaluation of individual pesticides, and the average of the absolute value of the Z-score for the overall assessment of pesticides. Laboratories evaluated the absolute value of the Z-score less than 2 to fit the case of azoxystrobin were 48, imidacloprid and methabenzthiazuron 46.

For the improvement of the nutritive value of extruded noodles, dry soymilk residue flour (DSRF) was mixed with wheat How. The effects of the addition of DSRF on the viscosity of wheat flour and the quality of cooked noodles were evaluated As the proportion of DSRF addition was in-creased the viscosity of composite flour was decreased And so were the texture and cooking quality of noodles. To improve noodle-making characteristics of extruded noodles with 10% DRFF, Na-alginate, Na-carboxymethyl cellulose, guar gum crude gluten and xanthan gum were added. Then, the noodle-making characteristics were examined. The viscosity increased with the increase in the concentration of additives and Bnnthan gum was the most effective. The texture of noodles supplemented by Na-alginate 2.0%, Na-carboxymethyl cellulose 2.0%, guar gum 2.0%, xanthan gum 1.0% was similar to that of wheat flour noodles. The results of sensory test (color and texture) was coincidal with the results of instumental tests.

In order to determine the residual characteristics of pesticides in fruits and their effects on human health, monitoring of pesticide residues were conducted in apples, peaches, pears, grapes and citrus from the major cultivation areas in 2010. Safeties of the pesticides detected from the fruits were evaluated using the amounts of pesticide residue detected and dietary risk index (DRI). Samples were taken from 4-5 major fruit cultivation areas and then pesticide residues in the test fruits were analyzed with a liquid chromatographymass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Mean residue levels of the pesticides in fruits were 0.001-0.144 mg/kg. The DRIs were 0.55 for apple, 0.066 for peach, 0.008 for pear, 0.025 for grape, and 0.37 for citrus, respectively. The results indicated that the amounts of pesticide residues in domestic fruits might be safe, considering the regulatory concerning level 1.0.

This paper presents the improvement of the field uniformity in a reverberation chamber which can be substitute an anechoic chamber for the electromagnetic interference (EMI) and immunity test. Nowadays, there are many EMI issues due to the increasing use of wireless local area network (LAN), digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB), and mobile internet. With this reason, this paper studied the field characteristics in a reverberation chamber for 2.3 GHz band. In this paper, the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method is used to analyze the field characteristics in a reverberation chamber. To improve the field uniformity in the reverberation chamber, this paper adopted a 2D cubical residue diffuser (CRD) with varying the disposition and number of CRD. For each case, the tolerance and standard deviation of the electric field strength are evaluated. In comparison with the reverberation chamber without any CRD, the reverberation chamber with two CRDs showed improved results; 1.98 dB improvement in standard deviation and 3.6 dB improvement in tolerance.
Soybean curd residue (SCR) was fermented by lactic acid bacteria, Lactobacillus rhamnosus LS and Entercoccus faecium LL, isolated from SCR. The pH, titratable acidify and viable cell counts were determined from the fermented SCR to evaluate the lactic acid production and growth of lactic acid bacteria. Optimal amounts of pretense enzyme and glucose, and ideal fermentation time for SCR fermentation were estimated by response surface methodology (RSM). Raw SCR fermented by indigenous microorganisms had 0.78 % titratable acidity, The acid production in SCR fermented by L. rhamnosus LS was greatly enhanced by the addition of glucose and lactose. However only glucose increased acid production by Ent. faecium LL. The proof test of SCR fermentation demonstrated that similar results for titratable acidity, tyrosine content and viable cell counts to that predicted could be obtained by the at optimized fermentation conditions. In the presence of 0.029 % (w/w) pretense enzyme and 0.9% (w/w) glucose, the SCR fermented by Ent. faecium LL showed 1.07% (w/v) of titratable acidity, 1.02 mg% tyrosine content and 2$\times$10$^{9}$ (cfu/g) of viable cell counts. With the SCR fortified with 0.033% pretense enzyme and 1.7% glucose, L. rhamnosus LS showed 1.8% (w/v) of titratable acidity, 0.92 mg% of tyrosine content and 2$\times$10$^{9}$ (cfu/g) of viable cell counts.

Analysis on the field uniformity inside of a reverberation chamber was done at 2.45 GHz which is an operating frequency of MWO(Microwave Oven). The Schroeder's Quadratic Residue Diffuser was designed for the chamber, and 3 different types of diffusers have been investigated using the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD) method for the field characteristics of each type. Type 2 and 3 diffusers were filled with dielectric material, and the size of these could be designed smaller than Type 1, without degradation of field characteristic. Type 3 diffuser shows better results among the three types of diffusers in view of increased test region and better field uniformity.
