생활용수에 대한 소비자의 지불의사 추정 및 정책적 의미 (Consumer’s Willingness To Pay for Residential Water and It’s Policy Implication)

  • 경제이론에 의하면 소비자들은 언제나 효용을 극대화하기 위한 선택에 직면한다. 이 같은 소비자의 선택은 생활용수의 가격, 공급 및 수요 등에 정보가 시장을 통해 나타나고 정책결정자들은 이를 정책 지표로 이용하게 된다. 그러나 수자원의 경우는 시장이 형성되어 있지 않기 때문에 시장에서의 그 같은 정보 획득이 제한적이다. 본 연구는 생활용수의 수질개선에 따른 소비자 지불의사를 1,000 가구를 대상으로 조사하고 이를 추정하였다. 또한 생활용수에 대한 소비행태에 대한 분석도 시도되었다. 소비자들은 현재의 물 값에서 50%의 인상에 대해서는 강한 절수 의지를 보인 반면 25% 이하의 물 값 인상에 대해서는 거의 절수 의지가 없는 것으로 나타나 현행 물 값이 절수를 유도하는 데는 낮은 수준임을 나타내고 있다. 수돗물의 수질이 향상된다는 조건으로 소비자는 매월 현행 물 값의 16%, $1m^3$당 약 153원을 지불할 수 있음을 보였다. 이 같은 정보를 토대로 생활용수에 대한 정책 제언을 하였다.

소규모 도시의 생활폐기물 발생특성 -동해시를 중심으로- (Characteristics of Municipal Solid Wastes Generation in a Small City -For Donghae City-)

  • This research was performed to investigate the generation and physico-chemical characteristics of municipal solid wastes. The results were as follows: i) The generation rate and bulk density were 0.157 kg/cap/d and 147.8 g/L in residential zone, respectively. In non-residential zone, the generation and bulk density were 1.71 kg/cap/d and 85.6 g/L, respectively. Consequently, bulk density of non-residential zone was lower than that of residential zone. ii) The wastes consisted of 90% of combustibles and 10% of incombustibles in residential zone. And the wastes from non-residential zone was composed 85% of combustibles and 15% of incombustibles. iii) Water content was estimated at 47~50% in residential zone and restaurants. In non-residential zone, except restaurants, water content was in the range of 10~30%. Ash content was nearly 10% in overall zone.

  • The High-rise Residential Buildings are recently consuming a lot of energy because of the vertical height rise in case of supplying cold and hot water. It is required to a appropriate solution in occurring discomfortable use and unexpected conditions of High-rise Residential Buildings on account of the difference of water supply pressure on top and bottom floor, faucet outlet pressure rise. Thus, the purpose of this study is to research on practical use status of Cold and Hot Water Supply System through Question Survey in High-rise Residential Buildings and to analyze problems.

주거건물의 개별급탕방식 환탕배관 적용에 따른 급탕성능 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance Evaluation of Recirculation System for Individual Hot Water Supply System in Residential Buildings)

  • In the current residential building, hot water supply system consumes the second largest energy in order to make the thermal comport condition of residential space. The more residential environment improves the more the demand for hot water and water consumption is increasing gradually. So this study examines the possibility of applying the recirculation for individual hot water supply system compared with the existing method for waiting time for hot water, wasted water and energy consumption. The results are as follows. (1) In case of recirculation system method the waiting time for hot water can be reduced up to $69\sim85%$ in spring and fall period and so dose up to $77\sim85%$ in winter period. (2) The total wasted water has a little change compared with the existing method which can make the total wasted water reduced about $77\sim86%$. (3) The efficiency of hot water supply system can be improved, if the method which blocks the inflow of cold water is applied, when return pump is operated to recirculate hot water in recirculation system.

주거용수 실시간 사용 추세패턴 분석 (A Study on the Trend Analysis of Real-time Residential Water Consumption)

  • 본 연구는 점차 심화되고 있는 물 부족 현상에 대응하는 IT기반의 효과적인 방법을 제시하는데 그 궁극적인 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위한 부분적 시도 중 하나로, 본 논문에서는 주거용수를 대상으로 실험지역 및 센서의 선정, 센서 및 데이터 취득 장비의 설치, 실시간 데이터 모니터링 등의 과정을 시도하고 모니터링된 실시간 데이터 분석을 통해 요일별, 월별 주거용수 사용 모형을 개발하였다. 그리고 개발된 모형을 적용하여 주거용수 사용추세패턴 분석을 실시하였다. 개발된 주거용수 사용 모형 및 추세패턴 분석결과는 분명한 시간별 패턴 및 일반화의 가는성을 보이고 있음이 확인되어 개별적으로 또는 타 용도의 용수 사용 모형 및 추세패턴 분석결과와 함께 전체 용수관리의 효율화를 위해 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

대규모 아파트 단지주변 하수관로의 악취 발생과 대책 II: 주거지역 하수관로의 악취원인과 대책 (The Foul Smelling from Sewer Pipe near Large Apartment Complexes and its Countermeasures II: The Cause for Foul Odors of Sewer Pipes in Residential Areas)

  • This study investigated the construction and operation status of sewer pipes and water-purifier tanks near densely populated areas like large apartment complexes, in order to find out cause for offensive orders. The study results revealed that the main cause arose from the water-purifier tank and public sewer pipes near ordinary residential areas. First, in case of independent water-purifier tanks, the air is forced into the rotten part of large tanks nearby which should be operated in an anaerobic state, so that the tank changes into an aerobic state, or dirty water, which is returned during the sludge return process, falls on the top of the rotten tank, preventing scum from forming within the tank. Such problems cause incompletely purified water in the purifier tank to be discharged, which in turn results in filthy water. Second, in case of public sewer pipes, deteriorated or aging pipes, or the mixture of rain water and dirty water by mixing up combined and separated sewers system can cause foul odors in residential areas. Therefore, offensive odors in residential areas can be radically reduced through the appropriate construction and management of facilities including water-purifier tanks. As well, if more separate sewers are installed as part of an improvement project for public sewer pipes, complaints about foul smell can be minimized.

일상 생활용수 내 Zn-Al-Mg계 합금도금강재의 부식거동 (Corrosion Behavior of Zn-Al-Mg Alloy Coated Steel Exposed to Residential Water)

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate corrosion resistance of Zn-Al-Mg alloy coated steel in residential water with trace quantities of Cl-. Comparative evaluations were performed using two commercial coated steel products, GI and Galvalume, as reference samples. Examination of corrosion morphology and measurement of weight loss revealed that the Zn-Al-Mg alloy coated steel exhibited higher corrosion resistance than reference samples. This finding suggests that the alloy coated steel possesses long-term corrosion resistance not only in highly Cl- concentrated environments such as seawater, but also in environments with extremely low levels of Cl- found in residential water. The primary factor contributing to the superior corrosion resistance of the Zn-Al-Mg alloy coated steel in residential water is the formation of an inhibiting corrosion product composed primarily of two phases: Zn5(OH)6(CO3)2 and Zn5(OH)8Cl2·H2O. The preferential dissolution of Mg from the corroded coating layer can increase alkalinity, which might enhance the thermodynamical stability of Zn5(OH)6(CO3)2.

전국 생활용수의 경제적 가치 평가: 가정용수 대 비가정용수 (Economic Valuation of the Municipal Water: Residential and Non-residential Uses)

  • 국민들의 삶의 질과 직접적으로 연관되어 있는 생활용수의 수요 관리 및 공급을 위한 적절한 투자 등 합리적인 정책을 수립, 시행하기 위해서는 생활용수의 경제적 가치에 관한 정확하고 객관적인 정보가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 수요함수 접근법을 이용하여 16개 시도의 생활용수의 소비자 잉여 및 경제적 가치를 추정하였다. 분석결과, 2009년 전국의 생활용수의 $m^3$당 소비자 잉여와 경제적 가치는 각각 1,180.7원과 1,812.8원으로 추정되었으며 시도별 1,082.7원에서 3,268.6원의 범위를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지역에 상관없이 비가정용수의 경제적 가치가 가정용수의 경제적 가치를 초과하였고, 수돗물의 가격에 비해 생활용수의 경제적 가치는 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 생활용수 공급의 경제적 편익에 대한 정보로 활용될 수 있으며 더 나아가 수도요금 산정의 배경자료로도 참고할 수 있을 것이다.

주거단지 내 수공간에 대한 주민 만족도와 선호도 조사 연구 - 광주광역시 5개 아파트 단지를 대상으로 - (A Research on Satisfaction and Preference of Residents for Water Space in Residential Complex - Focused on 5 Apartment Complexes on Gwangju Metropolitan City -)

  • This study focused on the analysis of satisfaction and preference of residents' for water space as a environmental friendly facility in residential complex. The purpose of this study is to serve design data of water space in residential complex, in order to make water space that residents' satisfaction are high. In this study, residents' satisfaction and preferences of water space in 5 residential complex were analyze through a questionnaire survey of residents. The major findings of the study are as follows. First, in terns of the need of the water space, 60.4% of the respondents answered that water space are need to improve the amenity. Secondly, in terms of satisfaction, 57.3% of the respondents have been satisfied with location of water space in the residential complex, and the maintenance satisfaction degree is above average level. Overall satisfaction degree is above average level too, but it is are not high as compared construction cost. Thirdly, in terms of preference, 26.5% of respondents have been prefer to the combined type of water space, and 25.9% of respondents prefer to dropping water type, and 25.9% of respondents prefer to flowing stream type. It appeared that the preference levels of 3 type is high similarly, so we can assume that residents prefer to moving water type because of having a feeling refreshed through the sound of water. The results of this study can be used as the design data of water space in residentialcomplex and expected to contributed in making the water space that residents' satisfaction are high.

수주지열정 지열원 열펌프 시스템의 집단주거시설 적용을 위한 기반 기술 분석 (A Study on the SCW Ground Source Heat Pump System Technologies for Residential Cluster Homes)

  • In this study, the technologies and regulations for distributing standing column well(SCW) ground source heat pump systems to the residential cluster homes were investigated. They have only been installed in the public or commercial building having different load pattern and site structure compared with the residential cluster homes. Some of SCWs for the residential cluster homes should be installed under the basement due to a lack of site area. There are pressure differences between the SCWs installed under ground surface and basement. It is needed to develop the technology or devices to prevent overflow caused by pressure difference among the SCWs. In addition, heat balance algorithm between SCWs should be adopted to maximize the system efficiency. A heat pump having heating, cooling, hot water, heating-hot water, and cooling-hot water modes should be developed for adopting an individual air-conditioning system to the residential cluster homes.
