Investigating Predictive Features for Authorship Verification of Arabic Tweets

  • The goal of this research is to look into different techniques to solve the problem of authorship verification for Arabic short writings. Despite the widespread usage of Twitter among Arabs, short text research has so far focused on authorship verification in languages other than Arabic, such as English, Spanish, and Greek. To the best of the researcher's knowledge, no study has looked into the task of verifying Arabic-language Twitter texts. The impact of Stylometric and TF-IDF features of very brief texts (Arabic Twitter postings) on user verification was explored in this study. In addition, an analytical analysis was done to see how meta-data from Twitter tweets, such as time and source, can help to verify users perform better. This research is significant on the subject of cyber security in Arabic countries.

  • The field of this study is in Islamic jurisprudence. Taking the preferred saying is contrary to the original, and takes it if necessity or need arises. There are reasons for adopting the preferred saying that were mentioned in this research so that the mufti and jurist know when to take the preferred saying, and when to act with the most correct saying. The origin is the work of the jurist and mufti by saying the most correct. If the necessity or the need that prompted the mufti to take the preferred saying ceases, then he returns to work with the most correct saying, and gives it precedence over the most preferred opinion. The researcher recommends that this topic be given more attention from researchers, and that it is taken care of in jurisprudential developments; So that the embarrassment of the nation is lifted, and the jurists clarify the legal ruling on emerging issues.

The Extent of Ordinary Classrooms Teachers' Knowledge and Perception of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • The present study aimed to investigate the extent to which ordinary classrooms teachers are informed are familiar with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder 'ADHD'. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach. The sample of the study consisted of (89) male and female teachers who teach students from grade (1) to grade (6) at public primary schools in Northern Mazar Directorate of Education in Jordan. A questionnaire was employed as the primary tool for collecting the data. The findings of the current study indicated an average level of knowledge of ordinary classroom teachers about ADHD. The findings also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the extent of ordinary classroom teachers' knowledge of ADHD due to the variables (gender, qualification, professional experience, grade level being taught).

  • The article reviews the quality of information on the Internet in general and health information in particular, where the accumulation and steady increase of information available on the Internet, without concern for its quality or importance, and regardless of the target audience, in addition to the lack of evidence of its credibility such as the availability of the name of the editor and references, and the availability of the name of an academic or research body responsible for that information. Add to this the lack of bibliographic data that can help infer the novelty of the information, and verify the element of trust in it . The problem is exacerbated with regard to the health information available on the Internet, due to its danger resulting from the presence of false health information that may cause danger to human health if relied upon. Through this article, the researcher proposes criteria that can help users search for information to measure the degree of quality, trust, and credibility of information in general and health information available on the Internet in particular.

Moreover, it gives the researcher ability to design new framework by using powerful concept in inconsistency management and viewpoint techniques.   • The study aimed to build a program in activities for early childhood students to develop some of the basic skills necessary for the age of artificial intelligence, to achieve the objectives of the study , the researcher used the experimental design, and the research sample consisted of 37 early childhood students. The study used the following tools: Experimental treatment subject: the proposed program in the activities, Measurement and evaluation tool: testing the basic skills needed for the age of artificial intelligence. The study concluded several results: There is a statistically significant difference (α≤0.05) between the average grades of the early childhood students in the research group in the tribal and remote measurements to test the basic skills necessary for the age of artificial intelligence in favor of the students grades in the dimensional measurements. Practical application of the study through benefiting from the proposed program of activities prepared in the current study in planning and implementing activities to develop the basic skills necessary for the age of artificial intelligence among early childhood students.

Effectiveness of A Proposed Program for Training Social Studies Teachers in the Light of Electronic Functional Competencies

  • The study aimed to build a proposed program for training Social Studies teachers in the light of electronic functional competencies, the researcher used the experimental method with a quasi-experimental design, the study sample consisted of (37) Social studies teachers in Ismailia. A proposed program in the light of electronic functional competencies. A measure of awareness of the dimensions and components of electronic feasibility. The study concluded several results: There is a statistically significant difference at the level of (a ≤0.01) between the average scores of the teachers of the research group in the pre and post measurements of the measure of awareness of the dimensions and components of electronic functional competencies in favor of the teachers scores in the post-measurement. Training Social studies teachers on the functional electronic competencies necessary for them to keep up with educational developments.

Evaluating Higher Diploma in English Language Teaching for the Primary Stage from the Teachers' Perspectives

  • This study aims to evaluate the Higher Diploma in English for the Primary Stage from the diploma students' perspectives. A questionnaire was designed consisting of 25 items distributed in two areas: cognitive/academic preparation and professional/skill preparation. The following statistical analyses were used: means, standard deviations, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The study results showed that the level of evaluation of the two domains in the program was low. The study also showed no statistically significant differences between the means of educational diploma students when evaluating the Higher Diploma in English for the Primary Stage due to their academic specialization (Arabic language, social sciences, and Islamic studies). In conclusion, the researcher suggested a developmental mechanism derived from the study results to improve the higher Diploma in English for the Primary Stage.

Tolerance and Its Relationship to Marital Happiness Among Married Teachers

  • The current study aimed to identify the level of tolerance and the level of marital happiness and the relationship between tolerance and marital happiness among married teachers in Irbid. In addition, to identify the differences in tolerance and marital happiness according to some demographic variables among married teachers in Irbid. The study sample consisted of (121) married teachers were randomly selected from the study community. For study purposes, the researcher used the tolerance scale for Shuqair and the marital happiness scale for Hedberg translated to Arabic by Alharekey. Findings showed that there were statistical correlations between tolerance and marital happiness among married teachers. The results showed no statistically significant differences between the married teachers' average scores in the degree of tolerance and marital happiness according to the gender, age, the gap between couples, and years of married.
