  • This is a retrospective, quantitative review of the English Teachers Association in Korea, namely the ETAK and its journals during the period of 18 years ever since the establishment in August 1994. It examines the history of the association, its domestic and international conferences, and most importantly, its articles. The purpose was to learn how it has emerged into a full-fledged organization, what the preferred language of the article has been, how the volume size has changed, and how many foreign scholars' articles have been contributed. It also looked into the number of authors each article was written by to examine the trend of cooperative work in the field of English education. Classification of the research topic was focused on the 4 skills of the language, grammar and vocabulary, literature, linguistics and all the rest areas were categorized into others. From the results of the study, suggestions for the future ETAK in the Korean English teaching were to be given.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the oral records of sports development contributors to explore the direction of big data research on sports development contributors in the future. To this end, the audio file produced in the interview with Lee00, a sports development contributor, was converted into text. The major themes were extracted by analyzing these oral records. The sub-themes were extracted in chronological order. Keywords were extracted by analyzing sub-themes. And the extracted keywords are searched in Google search engine to find related topics and to use them. A Google search for the topic 'Mt. Inwang' extracted from the oral archives of Lee00, a contributor to the development of sports, finds newspaper articles about President Moon Jae-in's climbing Mt. Inwang and opening up Mt. Bukhan. In addition, articles about Mt. Inwang and mountain climbers that the narrator In-jeong Lee speaks are searched for. Through these articles, you can Deriving the theme of the museum exhibition, Collection of museum exhibits, Use as climbing education material.

Also, seek for research trends related to activity participation, treatment, and mediation to provide academic implications. For this process, gathered 1.000 academic papers and used TF-IDF analysis method, and the topic modeling based on co-occurrence word network analysis method LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) to analyze. In conclusion this study conducted analysis of activity participation, treatment, and mediation of late adolescents by TF-IDF analysis method, co-occurrence word network analysis method, and topic modeling analysis based on LDA(Latent Dirichlet Allocation). The results were proposed through visualization, and carries significance as this study analyzed activity, treatment, mediation factors of late adolescents, and provides new analysis methods to figure out the basic materials of activity participation trends, treatment, and mediation of late adolescents.

  • In this study, we explore social awareness, interest, and acceptance of generative AI, including chatGPT, which has revolutionized web search, 30 years after web search was released. For this purpose, we performed a machine learning-based topic modeling analysis based on Korean news big data collected from November 30, 2022, when chatGPT was released, to August 31, 2023. As a result of our research, we have identified seven topics related to chatGPT and generative AI; (1)growth of the high-performance hardware market, (2)service contents using generative AI, (3)technology development competition, (4)human resource development, (5)instructions for use, (6)revitalizing the domestic ecosystem, (7)expectations and concerns. We also explored monthly frequency changes in topics to explore social interest related to chatGPT and Generative AI. Based on our exploration results, we discussed the high social interest and issues regarding generative AI. We expect that the results of this study can be used as a precursor to research that analyzes and predicts the diffusion of innovation in generative AI.

  • More consumers are choosing pro-consumption for social change, but scholars know little about why and how consumers engage in pro-consumption behaviors. A newly emerged pro-consumption behavior called "Don-jjul," which appeared during the COVID-19 pandemic in South Korea, refers to compensating businesses that have engaged in altruistic actions by boosting their sales. This study used Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) of topic modeling, sentiment analysis, and in-depth interviews to investigate the perceptions, motivations, and emotions regarding Don-jjul. As a result, the study revealed pro-consumers' perceptions of Don-jjul as "collective pro-consumption for contributing to social well-being." Don-jjul has two main motives: "supporting underdogs with difficulties" and "compensating good businesses economically." We also found two ambivalent emotions evoked by Don-jjul: "respect for good business owners" and "concerns regarding the misuse of Don-jjul." The results contribute to pro-consumption research for social well-being, providing business opportunities for retailers and CSR managers with a deep understanding of pro-consumers.

  • Homomorphic encryption is a promising technology that has been extensively researched in recent years. It allows computations to be performed on encrypted data, without the need to decrypt it. In this paper, we perform bibliometric analysis to objectively and quantitatively analyze the research trends of homomorphic encryption technology using 6,047 homomorphic encryption papers from the Scopus database. Specifically, we analyze the number of papers by year, keyword co-occurrence, topic clustering, changes in related keywords over time, and country of homomorphic encryption research institutions. Our analysis results provide strategic directions for research and application of homomorphic encryption and can be a great help for subsequent research and industrial applications.

  • As a global response to climate and biodiversity challenges, there is an emphasis on the conservation and restoration of ecosystems that can simultaneously reduce carbon emissions and enhance biodiversity. This study comprised a text analysis and keyword extraction of 1,100 research papers addressing nature restoration in Korea, aiming to provide a quantative and systematic evaluation of domestic research trends in this field. To discern the major research topics of these papers, topic modeling was applied and correlations were established through network analysis. Research on nature restoration exhibited a mainly upward trend in 2002-2022 but with a slight recent decline. The most common keywords were "species," "forest," and "water". Research topics were broadly classified into (1) predictions of habitat size and species distribution, (2) the conservation and utilization of natural resources in urban areas, (3) ecosystems and landscape managements in protected areas, (4) the planting and growth of vegetation, and (5) habitat formation methods. The number of studies on nature restoration are increasing across various domains in Korea, with each domain experiencing professional development.

  • This study aimed to analyze the research trends of school libraries from 1990 to July 2020. To this end, LDA topic modeling analysis was conducted to the domestic article abstracts related to school libraries. The total number of documents is 498 papers published by the four major domestic journals in Library and Information Science. The log-likelihood estimate criterion was used to determine the number of topics for topic modeling. As a result of the study, 27 topics were discovered, then, theory were categorized by eight subject areas: general, institutional system, building/equipment, operation/management, data organization, service, education, and others. The most popular research was library utilization classes (T27) and Information Utilization (T2). More than 20 studies were found in each evaluation index development (T13), school librarian placement (T24), learning information media utilization (T3), community public library (T7), library cooperation (T9), library use (T17), library research (T11), reading education (T4), collection development (T5), and education effects/teaching methods (T18).
