PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the trend of research in Journal of the Korean Society of Physical Medicine (JKSPM). METHODS: A total of 897 articles of JKSPM from Vol.1, No.1, 2006 to Vol.7, No.4, 2012 were reviewed in regard to research type, research level, subjects, research topic, statistic method, and researcher. RESULTS: The most common research type was experimental study(65%). The most common research level was level 2(randomized controlled trials; RCT)(55%). The most common age group of subject was age 11-30 group(55%). The most common diagnosis of subjects was stroke(49%). The main research topic of articles was therapeutic exercise(13.2%). Independent t-test was the most used statistic method. A professor was the most common researcher. The Daegu and Busan were the most common provinces that researcher works. CONCLUSION: This study showed the trend of research in JKSPM and helped readers to understand the trends of research in fields of physical therapy of Korea. In further studies, it is necessary to review systematically and intensively other journals in field of physical therapy.

Viktor and Rolf, despite their short career in the field, has been continuously giving a fresh impact on fashion design by grafting a surrealistic approach to their design works. As a basis of this study, we review the features of surrealistic drawing and the surrealistic features expressed in surrealistic clothes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the surrealistic features detected in the clothes designed by Viktor and Rolf on the basis of the above standard and review and predict the future trend in fashion. As for the research method, we review the previous researches and analyze the drawing works by some representative surrealistic artists, in particular, Schiaparelli's clothes in the 1930s, the clothes of surrealistic trend since 2000, and Viktor & Rolf's clothes. The result of the analysis is as follows. The surrealistic features of Viktor & Rolf clothes can be found in the movement of natural objects, the movement of everyday materials, the movement of clothing items, and visual illusion on clothes. As a whole, the surrealistic features clearly stood out in their clothes. High technology will rapidly change the modern society and we humans are likely to resort to something fresh or different as our emotion and feelings are getting tired and weary. Something that stimulates our feeling and emotion hidden behind our reason or logic will be reflected in design far more than something complex and functional. For this reason, as it reveals human imagination inherently, surrealism is expected to establish itself as a mega trend in the future.

Space propulsion system produces required thrust for satellites and space launch vehicles by using chemical reactions of a liquid fuel and a liquid oxidizer typically. Among several liquid propellants, the monomethylhydrazine-dinitrogen tetroxide is expecially preferred for a GEO satellite propellants due to their better storability in liquid phase during a long mission life under a freezing space environment. Recently, a development of the monomethylhydrazine-dinitrogen tetroxide bipropellant system becomes important as the national space program requires the heavier and the more efficient space system. Thus, the objective of the present study is to review a foreign research trend of a chemical reaction between the monomethyhydrazine fuel and the dinitrogen tetroxide oxidizer to understand a fundamental basis of their characteristics to prepare for domestic development in future.

This review examines the rapid growth of qualitative and quantitative of telecommunication industry for past couple of years from customer's viewpoint. Most of the telecommunication products were positioned in the market by the businesses and government's support, but the entity of telecommunication products were never interpreted from the user's viewpoint. Even though, various kinds of telecommunication services have been actively discussed by businesses, government, and IT professionals, it has not been sufficiently discussed by the marketing academia where they need to focus a lot on customer's utility. For the purpose of providing an insight of the telecommunication service marketing strategy, this study looked over old and new directions of growth, failure and evolution of services by focusing on two main pillar of communication business, which is high-speed internet and mobile phone service. Additionally, the research explains and mentions the limit and trend of the telecommunication service marketing, and the future research task that needs to be solved.

This study was conducted to examine the current status of traditional korean medicine studies on gastroesophageal reflux disease in Korea, identify deficiencies, and suggest the direction of future medicine research methods to lay the foundation for traditional korean medicine treatment. All domestic papers on the korean traditional treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease were selected among the literature published until August 2022 in six domestic databases. A total of 52 selected research data were classified into experimental research papers, clinical research papers, and review papers. In experimental papers, to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment, improvement of esophageal mucosal lesions, anti-inflammatory mechanisms, antioxidant mechanisms, esophageal mucosal protection mechanisms, gastric peristalsis control, and gastric acid secretion inhibition mechanisms were used as evaluation measures. In the clinical research paper, the basis for diagnosis of cases was clinical symptoms through medical history listening and diagnosis through visits to hospitals in the past. The average treatment period was 40.7 days, and the duration of treatment was not significantly affected by the duration of the disease. The most widely used Korean medicine treatment intervention was herbal medicine. There were 3 literature review studies, 3 systematic literature review and meta-analysis studies, 1 comparative review study for clinical trial guideline development, all using Chinese papers. This study included all domestic papers on gastroesophageal reflux disease to identify the research trend of the Korean oriental medicine community, and based on this, it is meaningful to confirm areas that need to be supplemented in future research plans.

"Journal of the Korean Society of Marine Environment & Safety" is representative scientific journal about ocean environment and ocean safety in Korea. This study analyzed research trend of "Journal of the Korean Society of Marine Environment & Safety" through review of articles published in the journals for 10 years tram 2000 to 2009. On the basis of the pursuit of learning and academic constitution of "The Korean Society of Marine Environment & Safety", criteria items of analysis for research trend such as authors institution of employment, region of authors' institution, form of participation in research, article's educational nature, article's method of study, article's area of study, etc. were set up and applied to 310 research articles published in "Journal of the Korean Society of Marine Environment & Safety" for 10 years.

Objectives: This study analyzed a total of 30 domestic research trends related to dental infection control from 2013 to 2022. Methods: Two researchers analyzed the research question, "What are the research trends on infection control in dental hygiene at dental clinics and dental hygiene education institutions?" The selected literature was classified according to the research subject and the purpose of the study. Results: The study sample comprised 63% dental hygienists, 30% dental hygiene students, and 7% dental workers. The research topics on dental infection control were classified into knowledge, awareness, practice, infection control education, clinic environment, and infection control personnel. The largest proportion of research on dental infection control were about awareness and practice of infection control (69%). Clinic environment, knowledge, infection control education, and infection control personnel appeared in order. Conclusions: It is believed that this can be used as a reference material to present the direction of research design for researchers studying in infection control in the field of dental hygiene in the future.

Purpose: This study was performed to explore the trend of nursing research in the Korean long-term care system. Methods: Articles published between 2008 and 2021 were searched using the terms "long-term care system" and "nursing." Ninety-one articles were analyzed and classified into five categories according to research methods. Data were extracted through a systematic review process and underwent descriptive statistics and content analyses. Results: The most analyzed variable in the survey studies was job satisfaction. Many variables were classified into input and output factors using Donabedian's model. The content analysis showed that most suggestions were about improving the political regulation system. Conclusion: It is necessary to establish a research foundation to provide research funding and support to cultivate future nursing research in long-term care. Systematic improvement of research in nursing should be continuously pursued to revitalize nursing services, expand nursing service interventions, and improve management competency programs in nursing institutions.

Display is an essence in human-machine communication interface. As mobile environment such as internet of things (IOT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) progress, importance of display increases. Here we review research trend in flexible organic light emitting displays (OLEDs). This review article covers all the components consisting of flexible OELDs and shows direction of the recent research. This paper would be helpful for readers and researchers working in this field and provide perspective for future displays.
