Objective: The objective of this study is to examine the characteristics of the research on human vibration in Korea. Background: There have been relatively less interests in vibration than other ergonomic factors in Korea. However, the importance of vibration is increasing as industry and everyday life are more mechanized. Method: This study reports the results of the literature review on the papers about human vibration published in ergonomics-related domestic journals. Results: It was found that more studies have been done on local vibration than on whole body vibration. Diverse topics have been studied in ergonomics community. Conclusion: Further cutting-edge studies are expected than classical safety and health related ones. Application: Some suggestions were proposed hopefully helpful to colleague ergonomists for future research.

For some time there has been the need to know new researches trend utilizing solar energy in various fields, particularly solar energy researchers and engineers. The aim of the review is to analyze the researches trend in solar energy field of Korea. The research trend was reviewed by data on the published papers of journal of the Korean solar energy society(KSES) between 2003 and 2005. The results of this overview are provided to be an effective data for the planning of development energy resources, especially in a toward new energy policy.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trend by conducting a systematic review of domestic research on clinical fieldwork in occupational therapy. From 2000 to 2019, papers registered in the Google Scholar, RISS, KISS, and National Library of Korea databases were searched. The search term was "Occupational Therapy" AND "Clinical Fieldwork", and a total of 8 studies were finally selected. As a result of analyzing the research trend, the most frequently used data collection method were surveys 6 studies(75.0%), and the most frequent subject were occupational therapy students was 6 studies(75.0%). The most frequent main theme was satisfaction of clinical fieldwork 4 studies(50.0%). In the future, it was confirmed that quantitative and qualitative growth of clinical research related to occupational therapy in Korea is needed.

Objectives : The purpose of the study was to investigate the overall research trend and change in dental fear during 9 years(2004-2012) and to identify the major outcomes and future directions to research. Methods : Descriptive literature review was conducted for dental fear in Korea. The research setting should be elementary, middle, high schools and adults. Results : In this study, the literature review of the most used tools to measure fear was that DFS. The most commonly used instrument was Dental Fear Survey(DFS) in the literature review. The number of dacayed tooth was proportional to subjective fear and anxiety. The indirect experience of dental pain was heard from family and friends. So the fear caused the patients to have negative bias toward dental treatment. The negative reliability towards the dentist increased the dental fear to the patients. Conclusions : Through the literature review, dental hygienists are able to understand the dental fear of the patients.

This paper was aimed to review the research trends on the subject of ′landscape′ that were published in the Journal of the Korean Institute of Landscape Architecture (KILA) over the 30 years from 1973 to 2003. The total number of articles with the "landscape" subject is 132(12.1%) out of 1,089(the total number of articles). The ratio of the ′landscape′ articles to the total number of the two decades between 1980 and 1999 increased at 8.7% and 1.1% respectively, and decreased at 5.3% since 2000. It was found that each decade showed its own trend of research subject. The first trend during the 1980′s focused on the methodology of analyzing the characteristics of landscape. The second trend during 1990′s converged to the positivistic research method, which relies on computer technology. A new and very important trend began during the same decade. It was "visual landscape planning", which attracted much attention since the operation of local autonomy in Korea. This trend focuses on ′visual landscape planning′, and it is expected to grow drastically in the near future. Therefore, it is recommended that we promote the more elaborate methodology of ′visual landscape planning′, which also includes the ecological and cultural aspects of the environment.
