토사재해 대응기술 분야의 특허동향 분석 연구 (Study of Patents Trend Regarding Technology of Reaction for Sediment Disaster)

  • 토사재해 대응기술 분야에 대하여 미래의 연구개발 방향을 예측하기 위해 한국, 미국 일본 및 유럽에서 출원 공개된 특허를 대상으로 특허동향을 분석하였다. 포트폴리오 분석결과, 한국의 토사재해 대응기술에 대한 출원은 지속적으로 상승하고 있으나 다른 국가에 비해 시기적으로는 뒤쳐져 있는 것으로 나타났다. 국가별 기술수준을 분석한 결과 조사 및 감지기술 분야의 경우 한국과 미국은 성장기 단계이며 일본은 쇠퇴기 단계로 분석되었다. 구조적 대응 및 안정화기술 분야의 경우 한국은 전반적으로 성장기 단계이며 일본은 쇠퇴기 단계로 분석되었다. 공백기술을 통해 향후 연구개발 방향을 분석한 결과, 토사재해 매커니즘에 대한 표준화된 분석기술, ICT 분야와의 연계기술, 친환경 재료 개발 및 시설물의 성능평가 기술이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

초등 예비교사들이 '배추흰나비 한살이' 탐구 수행과정에서 겪는 어려움 (A Study on Difficulties Experienced by Pre-service Elementary School Teachers in Carrying out a Research on 'the Life Cycle of a Common Cabbage Butterfly')

  • This study aims to analyze difficulties that pre-service elementary teachers experience in investigating the life cycle of a common cabbage butterfly in person. As difficulties they face during the process of this research, they pointed out collecting eggs, observing molting, creating environments for a breeding cage, feeding, building a breeding cage, and making butterfly specimens. Out of all the environmental difficulties related to their school fields, they pointed out a difficulty of time management most of all, followed by placing a breeding cage in the classroom and the lack of microscopes for observation. In regard to difficulties related to their evaluations on students' activities, they found it difficult to evaluate students' activity with the life cycle of an insect in the aspect of knowledge and even to set evaluation criteria. Besides, many of them responded that it would be appropriate to evaluate a research on the life cycle of an insect through a portfolio or an observation journal. In regard to difficulties in terms of teachers' knowledge, they found it difficult to understand insect molting, metamorphoses, complete metamorphoses, incomplete metamorphoses, the structure of an insect body, and how to distinguish a female insect from a male one. In regard to the application of class models, they knew it is important for students to have various experiences through direct observation, so the experience-based learning model was proper for the process of observing the life cycle of a common cabbage butterfly. However, they found it difficult for students to observe each stage of the life cycle in person.

프로젝트 예비비 편성 방법에 관한 연구 (Contingency and Management Reserves Estimation Method for Project Budget)

  • Many organizations have transformed their business in order to survive and compete in the future. They generate projects by creating a vision, using strategies and objectives with funds aligning strategies and make efforts to complete them successfully because project success leads to business success. All projects have triple constraints such as scope, time, and cost to be completed. Project cost performance is a key factor to achieve project goals and which is mostly related with risks among various cost drivers. Projects require a cost estimation method to complete them within their budget and on time. An accurate budget cannot be estimated due to the uncertainties and risks. Thus some additional money should be funded in addition to the base budget as a contingency reserve for identified risks and a management reserve for unidentified risks. While research on contingency reserve for identified risks included in project budget baseline have been presented, research on management reserve for unidentified risks included in total project budget is still scarce. The lack of research on estimation method and role of the management reserve have made project managers little confidence to estimate project budget accurately with reasonable basis. This study proposes a practical model to estimate budgets including contingency and management reserves for not only project cost management but also to keep the balance of organization's total funds to maximize return on investments for project portfolio management. The advantages of the proposed model are demonstrated by its application to construction projects in Korea and the processes to apply this model for verification are also provided.

미국과 한국의 공학교육인증 체제 비교에 대한 사례 연구 (A Case Study on Comparison Between Korea and America in Accreditation System of Engineering Education)

  • 본 연구에서는 EC2000 시스템하에서 2007년도에 공학교육 인증평가를 받은 한국의 A대학과 미국의 M 대학의 공학교육인증 체제를 비교, 분석하고자 한다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 해당 프로그램의 자체평가보고서 분석 및 홈페이지 검색을 실시하였다.한국과 미국의 공학교육인증 기준은 거의 대동소이하나 한국의 인증기준이 행정적인 지원 체제나 각 평가기준별 자율순환체제를 강조하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 인증평가별 체제를 살펴보았을 때 미국의 장점을 꼽아보면 체계적인 교육과정 운영과 설계교육, 교과목 중심의 프로그램 학습성과 평가 체제, 교수들의 연구 및 학생지도에의 지원 체제이다. 한국의 장점은 다원적인 지원 체제를 기반으로 하고 평가에서의 정량적인 지표 활용이 많기 때문에 이를 교육개선에 활용하기 쉬운 면이 있고, 학생포트폴리오의 활용을 통한 체계적인 학생 지도가 가능하다는 점이다.

한국 전통문양을 응용한 넥타이 텍스타일디자인 연구 (Study on Necktie Textile Design with Korean Traditional Motives)

  • Since the use of textile has become more extensive and applied for various products, today, the importance of utility, ornament and civilization of textile is emphasized. Textile design should be able to satisfy the designer's creativity and his/her world of art. Moreover, it should be appropriate for the industrial technology circumstances, and taste of consumers. In Korea, traditional culture has been extremely valued, allowing people to be more interested in textile designs derived from traditional cultural. Therefore, designs inspired by the spirit and sense of traditional patterns has been used to develop modern textile designs. Prior research on products, however, show that cultural motive was insufficient, therefore, in this research the purpose is to design textiles and to develop Korean neckties, an essential component of men's attire, by adapting Korean traditional patterns. In order to conduct the research, first, numerous parers on Korean traditional patterns have been studied to select fundamental data about the development of necktie textile designs. Second, Korean traditional patterns were applied while following the target and concept, and two pieces of necktie textile designs have been suggested. Patterns had been designed by hand drawing and CAD system, they have been suggested as a portfolio. As a result, this article suggests new necktie designs utilizing Korean traditional patterns and, attempts to develop particular pattern designs, which have power to accommodate globalization and to express the special qualities of Korea.

한국기업의 미얀마 전력시장 진출 방안에 관한 연구 - CHP, CDM, MDB를 중심으로 - (A Study on Myanmar Power Marker for Korean Firms - Focused on CHP, CDM, MDB -)

  • 본 연구는 한국기업의 미얀마 전력시장 진출방안에 관한 시사점을 제시하기 위한 것으로 에너지 정책, 전력 공급과 수요, 주변국과의 관계 및 기후변화 등을 중심으로 미얀마 전력시장의 특성을 살펴보고 SWOT분석을 실시하였다. 기회요인으로는 에너지전략의 수정, 에너지 통합기구의 출범, 전력에너지 포트폴리오 변화, 빠른 경제발전과 전력수요의 증가, 청정개발체제 등이 나타났으며, 위협요인으로는 높은 계약 불이행 가능성, 높은 전력 손실율과 낮은 전기보급률, 주변국으로의 에너지 수출증가, 기후변화 취약성 등으로 파악되었다. 진출방안으로는 전력공급 측면에서의 제약을 극복하기 위한 열병합발전 (CHP)의 활용, 교토의정서의 청정개발체제 (CDM)의 활용, 투자위험의 감소를 위한 다자개발은행 (MDB)의 활용을 제시하였다.

환경친화적 풍력단지 평가체계 구축을 통한 입지선정 및 잠재량 분석 (Site Selection and Potential Analysis using the Frame for Assessing Environmental-friendly Wind Power Plant)

  • Wind power which is one of renewable energies is higher economical efficiency and technical maturity than other renewable energies. Recently, the government of ROK announced to increase the proportion of renewable energy through the National Energy Plan. Also, industry required to deregulate for large-scale wind power as Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) is introduced. Wind power whereas the eco-friendly energy, is a serious level of damage of the natural environment and topography when the wind power is located. Therefore, the study selected the indicators required for site selection of wind power and proposed the feasible area for wind power based on wind resource map. We selected the 15 indicators including 12 legal protected area, Ecology and Nature Map, rarity, and connectivity (National Ecological Network). After site selection, we should be considered slope and altitude at the stage of design for wind farm to mitigate the environmental impact. Results of analysis showed that 22.3% of wind resource map is available to locate wind power in real. Through the field survey we had verified the accuracy of the results was significantly correct.

공과대학 교수의 교육업적평가 지표 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Teaching Evaluation Indicators for Faculty in Engineering College)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the current evaluation methods on faculty performance at Korean engineering colleges and develop teaching evaluation indicators for faculty performance. We investigated the faculty performance cases in engineering colleges inside and outside of the Korea, the engineering faculty's awareness of evaluation factors for their educational performance, and the appropriate ratios by indicating factors. Also we developed evaluation indicators for educational achievements to improve the current faculty performance system. 227 engineering faculty members answered our survey questionnaire. The result in the case study on faculty performance evaluation is as follows. First, most items of faculty performance evaluation are about quantitative indicators that can easily conduct objective evaluation. Second, evaluation items of faculty performance are mostly focused on instruction in a classroom. Third, the evaluation by students and administrative managers is more dominant than that by professors or their colleagues, document evaluation than on site evaluation, general evaluation than formative evaluation, and static evaluation than dynamic evaluation. Lastly, Some universities tend to substitute outstanding articles for underperforming instruction. The evaluation indicators that we have developed can be implemented by four types of subjects, such as students, professors, their colleagues, and deans. Also, based on the evaluation indicators, faculties can freely select their evaluation domains depending on the their tracks, such as a teaching track, a research track, or an industry-university cooperation track. The mandatory evaluation fields include teaching, student counselling, teaching portfolio evaluation by mentors or colleagues, class management evaluation by deans, and self-evaluation. The other areas are optional and professors can choose their evaluation factors.

한약재 가공 기술의 특허 동향 연구 - 비가열 가공 기술을 중심으로 - (Analysis on Patent Trends in Nonthermal Processing Technologies for Medicinal Herbs)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the patent application trend in the processing technology for medicinal herbs. Recently, in processing technology for medicinal herbs, experimental researches have frequently been published through papers in journals. However, the research results about the patent area were fewer than the others. We tried to analyze the patent application trend in nonthermal processing technologies for medicinal herbs by country as Korea, Japan, U.S.A. and Europe. The detailed technologies consisted of pulsed electric field, oscillatory magnetic field, intense pulsed light, ultrasonification, high hydrostatic pressure, microwave, radiation, Ohmic heating, and supercritical extraction. As a result we found that patents of nonthermal processing technologies has been growing steadily in quantity from 1980s and growing quickly since 2000s. The number of patent in Korea is larger than others as making up 70% in that whole. The number of patent in ultrasonification field was larger than others in portfolio analysis. Patent application trend in nonthermal processing technologies for ingestion occupies high share compared to other usage applications. In conclusion, patent trends of nonthermal processing technologies for medicinal herbs belong to the period in the development.

특허정보를 통한 PMP 연구동향과 기술경쟁력 분석 (Analysis of Research Trends and Technological Position of PMP Using Patent Information)

  • 이 논문에서는 특허정보의 분석을 통해 휴대용 멀티미디어 단말기(PMP) 분야의 국내외 기술개발 동향과 주요국의 기술적 위치를 규명하고자 한다. 이를 위해 PMP 관련분야 특허의 연도별 출원동향, 특허 포트폴리오 분석을 통한 관련기술의 발전단계, 출원인별 특허 점유율, 주요국의 당해 분야 혁신 리더 동향, 국제특허분류(IPC)별 특허출원 동향 등을 분석한다. 그리고, 주요국의 PMP 분야 기술수준을 분석한다. 이를 위해 특허당 인용건수(CPP), 과학연계지수(SL), 시장확보지수(PFS) 등의 지표를 활용하기로 한다. 또한, 주요국의 PMP 분야에서의 연구개발 단계를 살펴보고, 이들 국가의 기술 경쟁력을 관련된 과학기술 분야의 논문과 특허를 이용한 인용분석을 통해 평가하고자 한다.
