  • This research was conducted in order to present the strategies of implementing the logistics information system for effective logistics cost management with the case study of a leading global company. The strategy for effective logistics information system can be derived from the 3 different viewpoints, Firstly the effective global logistics management can be insured by means of the efforts of the reinforced total organization. Secondly from the process-oriented perspective, we should recognize the logistics process as the core factor of the competitive strategy and innovate the logistics process itself for the logistics cost reduction. Finally, the logistics cost will be effectively managed through establishing its logistics information strategy which maximizes the utilization of the information technologies. The case study of 'A' electronics company shows that its logistics management system provides the company with various visibilities about its logistics cost and the direct and indirect benefits over billions of wons per year as well. Therefore we can conclude that the research model provided in this research is validated. This study presents the concrete implementation strategies of the logistics information system and verifies the validity of the strategies by means of the case study of a leading company.

  • The title of research is a study on the leadership in Korean management. The purpose of research is that I build up the ideal management-leadership in future which is objective and suitable studying through the existing theory at all points, and analyzing the leadership in Korean management concentrated on situational factors. Moreover it contributes to the promotion of productivity, the contents of research 1. The importance of management-leadership. 2. The development in theory concentrated on a principle of leadership. 3. The development in behavioral scientific leadership, which adopts situational approach to its methodology. 4. The study on the leadership-style and the pursuit of the ideal management-leadership in accordance with behavioral analysis. 5. The build up of leadership in Korean management. The refore I learn the following facts through the study on the leadership in modern management. 1. Leadership consists of the relations among all interdependant variables composing of system. 2. The problem of the increase in the management-leadership effectiveness. 3. The pursuit oriented ideal management-leadership. 4. The build-up of leadership in Korean management. So far 1 have studied the theory of management-leadership at all points and the leadership in Korean management concentrated on situational factors. I learn that leadership is made of the relations among these in building the future management-leadership. Therefore I try to come to the conclusion by raising the following three problems. 1. The increase in leadership effectiveness. 2. Leadership-oriented. 3. The build-up of the leadership in Korean management.

  • The main objective of this paper is to investigate the performance characteristics of a $CO_2$ air conditioning system for fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV). The present air conditioning system for FCEV uses the electrically driven compressor and electrically controlled expansion valve for $CO_2$ as a working fluid. The experimental work has been done with various operating conditions, which are quite matching the actual vehicle's driving conditions such as different compressor speed and high pressure to identify the characteristics of the system. Experimental results show that the cooling capacity and coefficient of performance (COP) were up to 6.3kW and 2.5, respectively. This paper also deals with the development of optimum high pressure control algorithm for the transcritical $CO_2$ cycle to achieve the maximum COP.

  • 본 논문에서는 자율비행(Autonomous Flight)의 연구동향 및 향후 발전방향에 대하여 기술하였다. 자율비행은 항공기의 예기치 않은 임의상황 발생에 대해서도 항공기가 스스로 인지하고, 판단 한 후 대처하는 것을 의미한다. 현재의 자율비행기술은 무인기를 위주로 개발되고 있으나, 차세대 항공교통관제 시스템 도입과 무인기의 활용성 증대 요구에 따라 자율비행기능이 항공교통관제시스템과 결합되어야 한다. 그러므로 현 항공교통관제 시스템의 주요 개요와 향후 변경될 차세대 항공교통관제 시스템의 주요 사항들을 살펴보았고, 자율비행기술 개발 현황을 기술하였으며 향후 발전방향을 전망하였다.

Investigating the Factors on Public Transportation System for Citizen Relationship and Sustainability

  • Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to investigate key factors that affect customer dissatisfaction on public transportation system by highlighting the necessity of citizen participation and improved management of advanced technology for sustainability. Research questions applied in this study include following; i) how are factors on dissatisfaction related to types of transportation modes; ii) how do perceived proposed factors affect citizen dissatisfaction; iii) how do the improvement of public transportation service affect the level of expected satisfaction; and iv) how do expected satisfaction affect policy agreement and government trust. Research design, data and methodology: For qualitative research, civil opinions were collected and chi-square analysis was applied using keywords. For quantitative research, online survey was collected and factor and multiple regression analyses were applied. 3) Results: This study found that efficiency of operation system and safety on dissatisfaction showed significant in all three public transportation modes. This study found that perception of government policy and trust on government will increase as expected satisfaction increases. Conclusions: This study provides managerial and policy implications on society and policy makers by addressing necessity of improving strategies for public transportation system with the consideration of citizen relationship management and sustainable development.

Efficient Key Management Protocol for Secure RTMP Video Streaming toward Trusted Quantum Network

  • This paper presents an achievable secure videoconferencing system based on quantum key encryption in which key management can be directly applied and embedded in a server/client videoconferencing model using, for example, OpenMeeting. A secure key management methodology is proposed to ensure both a trusted quantum network and a secure videoconferencing system. The proposed methodology presents architecture on how to share secret keys between key management servers and distant parties in a secure domain without transmitting any secrets over insecure channels. The advantages of the proposed secure key management methodology overcome the limitations of quantum point-to-point key sharing by simultaneously distributing keys to multiple users; thus, it makes quantum cryptography a more practical and secure solution. The time required for the encryption and decryption may cause a few seconds delay in video transmission, but this proposed method protects against adversary attacks.

  • 우리 나라 중소기업의 지식영영 수준을 비교 평가하기 위하여 150개 업체를 대상으로 설문 조사 하였다. 연구 모형은 1) 지식경영과 기업전략 2) 지식경영 문화와 체계 3) 지식경영을 위한 학습 과정과 공유 4) 지식경영을 위한 정보기술 5) 지식경영 성과측정과 보상에 대하여 평가하였다. 연구 결과로는 기업의 특성에 따라 지식경영 수준 차이가 있다는 것이다. 특히, 우리 나라 기업에서 지식경영을 위한 기업 문화 형성이 미흡하며, 지식경영을 위한 학습과정과 성과과정 및 보상이 다른 영역에 비해 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다. 우리 나라 기업의 특성을 맞는 지식경영의 평가 개발이 요구된다.

  • Managing and reusing knowledge in engineering and construction sectors can lead to greater competitive advantage, improved designs, and more effective management of constructed facilities. The use of Information Technology (IT) in design and construction can exploit strategic opportunities for new ways of integration, sharing and facilitating information and knowledge in any field of engineering. The integrating of separate areas of IT can be used to bring a group of experts and specialists in any field of engineering closer together by allowing them to communicate and exchange information and expertise that facilitate knowledge capture, sharing, and reuse. A lack of an advisory management system and a need to marshal all available data in a common format has indicated the need for an integrated engineering computing environment to investigate concrete repair problems. The research described in this paper is based upon an evaluation management system (EMS) which comprising a database management system (REPCON) alongside visualisation technologies and evaluation system (ECON) is developed to produce an innovative platform which will facilitate and encourage the development of knowledge in educational, evolution and evaluation modes of concrete repair. This allows us to create assessment procedures that will allow the current condition of the concrete structure and its components to be expressed numerically using a confidence level (CL) so as to take the best course of action in the repair and maintenance management. The explained rating system, which is related to structural integrity and serviceability of the structure, allows the confidence level to be determined by visual inspection and the descriptive information and pictures taken from an available REPair of CONcrete (REPCON) database.

양식계 오염원 배출량 산정을 위한 원단위 설정 (Evaluation of Pollutant Load Unit Factor for Calculating Pollutants Emission in Aquacultural Farms)

  • This research was conducted to investigate pollutant load unit factor from aquacultural farms. Pollutant load unit factors were investigated on the 13 kinds of fish type, i.e., Trout, Leather Carp, Eel, Carp, Cartfish, Freshwater Eel, Crucian Carp, Colored Carp, Sturgeon, Marsh Snail, Sweetfish, Pond Snail, Eriocheir Sinensis. Water qualities in aquacultural farms were investigated wide range of values by fish type and pollutant items. High BOD and COD values were observed at the Leather Carp (Ponded water system), Cartfish (Ponded water system) and Freshwater Eel (Recirculating System). TOC and DOC values were relatively high at the Freshwater Eel (Recirculating System) and Eriocheir Sinensis (Extensive). Eel (Ponded water system) and Freshwater Eel (Recirculating System) produced high concentrated nutrient pollutants, i.e., T-N, T-P. Pollutant load unit factors are dependent on fish type, aquacultural type, water quality items, etc. If some fishes have similar basic unit values, those could be applied for TMDLs as a group of fish having same pollutant load unit. The water quality concentrations of post treatment facilities' (mainly reservoir tank) effluent were higher than those of fish raising bath because of extracting pollutant from sediment in the reservoir tank. Therefore, it needs to the management and regulations about post treatment facilities.

전라북도 일부 지역 치과위생사의 직무만족도 조사 - 치과의료기관 운영제도를 중심으로 - (A research on the job satisfaction of dental hygienists an area in Jeollabuk-do - The focus of management system -)

  • Purpose : This study was to figure out the factors affecting the job satisfaction of dental hygienists working in dental clinics. To gain the data to establish the systems for enhancing the job satisfaction of the dental hygienists. This research has been conducted dental hygienists working in dental clinics institutes located in Jeonju and Iksan city, Jeollabuk-do, korea. Methods : The collected data were analyzed by using an SPSS statistical program, obtaining the following results. Result : The average satisfactory level of the dental hygienists was 3.45 out of 5 points. The most important factor affecting of the job satisfaction was the relationship with patients as 3.83 points and the least influencing factor was the compensation as 3.09 points. The management system and the satisfactory level were also correlated. For each of details, communication structure and working environment showed the highest correlation with Pearson's correlation coefficient of 0.610. Among the management system the general job satisfaction according to the communicational structure was higher when they had better communication with dentists. Among the management system, the job satisfaction according to structural factors was higher when they have manuals for the job, when their job is taken partial charge of the responsibility As for job satisfaction by the welfare support factor in the clinic management system, the better an informal social gathering, the higher general job satisfaction. As for job satisfaction by the job autonomy factor in the clinic management system, the more evenly distributed job opportunities and chances of reeducation for professional development led to higher general job satisfaction. Conclusion : The compensation-related grade was the lowest among the 6 constituent factors of the job satisfaction, it seems that improvement of wages and incentives is required to enhance the satisfaction of the dental hygienists. Also, improving factors affecting the management system of the dental service institute can increase the job satisfaction since the job satisfaction was higher when the institutes have the better management system.
