  • Purpose - The purpose is to present an efficient library-use education model in the form of flip learning, reflecting traditional teaching methods and gamification elements even in such non-face-to-face and face-to-face situations after COVID-19. Research design, data, and methodology - Research on library use education, research on ubiquitous environment and gamification instructional design, flip the learning, and gamification elements are classified, compared, and analyzed to present educational models for library education, COVID-19 Pandemic situation, and subsequent library use education. Result - We propose an e-learning content development strategy for flipped learning-based library education. First, benchmark and use the existing educational contents. Second, a user-friendly interface is configured so that learners can flexibly organize their learning contents. Third, it allows learners to experience it directly or indirectly in a virtual space. Conclusion - If the e-learning environment can be standardized to the level of schools or educational institutions, a good educational model that can be used not only in library user education but also in other fields will be possible.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze research trends of school library reading programs. Articles on school library reading programs were searched in four major library and information science journals and two journals specialized in reading, which resulted in total 138 papers. First article was published as early as in 1978, and after a long lull period, researches began to mushroom in 2002 and proliferated between 2013 and 2015. To identify reading programs by type, research on curriculum-linked programs including library assisted instruction and information literacy instruction accounted for 44.9%, whereas programs for promoting library use and reading interest provoking came up with a small research volume. Interdisciplinary convergence involving Korean language education fields and library and information science fields, more concern for developing useful school library reading programs and curriculum-linked programs.

  • Random hexapeptide library on the surface of filamentous bacteriophage was constructed using the SurfZAP vector. The size of the library was approximately 105. The peptide insert was flanked by two cysteines to constrain the peptide structure with a disulfide bond. This library was screened for the topoisomerase II binding peptide. Dramatic enrichment of the fusion phage over the VCS M13 helper phage was demonstrated by bio-panning affinity selection.
