  • Occupational health nursing (OH N) guide book has been perceived as necessary since group occupational health services started. This study aimed to develop the guidebook for occupational health nurses working in small-scale enterprises(SSE). The guide area of nursing services was selected in 10 categories. These areas were 4 Workplace attitude for occupational health nursing', 'Nursing process', 'Workplace environmental monitoring', 'Personal protective devices', 'Record', 'Health counselling', 'Communication', 'Health education', 'Health screening' and 'Health promotion'. The content was mainly constructed with literature review. The pretest was done to find out what OH nurses do feel about their OH nursing services. Figures were used to guide some occupational health nursing services (OHNS). The further research was expected to develop in more extensive depth and quality.

  • The goal of our research is to develop a smart context-aware guide system that provides a smart and personalized guide services based on implicit awareness of context. As a context-aware guide application, we have developed a location-aware smart bus guide system for Seoul based on PDA and GPS. It guides users to the nearby bus stops and provides users with information about the bus lines at the bus stops.

  • Wind tunnel experiments were performed to study the wind loads on an inclined flat plate with and without a guide plate. Highly turbulent flow, which corresponded to free-stream turbulence intensity on the flat roof of low-rise buildings, was produced by a turbulence generation grid at the inlet of the test section. The test model could represent a typical solar collector panel of a solar water heater. There are up-stream movements of the separation bubble and side-edge vortices, more intense fluctuating pressure and a higher bending moment in the turbulent flow. A guide plate would result in higher lift coefficient, particularly with an increased projected area ratio of a guide plate to an inclined flat plate. The value of lift coefficient is considerably lower with increased free-stream turbulent intensity.

  • An experimental study for free convective heat transfer in a thermal diode type enclosure is presented. The thermal diode is a device which allows heat to be transferred in one direction by convection due to density difference of the fluid, and consists of a rectangular-paralle-logrammic enclosure with a guide vane. It is used as heat collection system of solar energy due to its simple construction and low cost. Experimental parameters were guide vane thickness, the inclination angles of the parallelogrammic enclosure, and the lengths of the rectangular enclosure part. The parameter range of the flux Rayleigh numbers was $2.4\times{10}^8$~$9.8\times{10}^8$. The heat transfer rate of this system was shown 10~47% higher than that of other earlier research results without the guide vane. The correlation for fixed $\phi=60^\circ$ was obtained, Nu=0.0037(Ra^*)^{0.429}(d^*)^ {0.050}(Lr/H)^{0.0415}$.

  • Facility data is created throughout the design and construction phase. But the most facility managers bear significant costs that arise from the lack of interoperability with facility lifecycle. This paper is concerned with the way to collect facility data using BIM technology. The aim of this paper is to suggest BIM data modeling guide for the facility management using the information that need to be delivered from design and construction phase to operation and management phase. The BIM data modeling guide focus on the properties of mechanical equipment. It is to be hoped that this study will contribute to collect facility data from as-built BIM data and to build facility management system database without difficulty.

  • A reactor vessel internals comprehensive vibration assessment program(RVI CVAP) of an advanced power reactor 1400(APR1400) is being performed as a non-prototype category-2 type of reactor based on the US nuclear regulatory commission regulatory guide(NRC RG) 1.20. The aim of this paper is to present the results of structural response analysis and measuring locations of a upper guide structure(UGS) assembly of the APR1400 reactor. The analysis results of the UGS assembly show that the specified integrity levels meet the design acceptance criteria. Also, the measuring locations are determined by the analysis results of the UGS assembly and selection criteria of previous study. These analysis results and measuring locations will be used as a guide to design a measurement system for the APR1400 RVI CVAP.

  • Thermal striping is a complex thermal-hydraulic phenomenon caused by fluid temperature fluctuations that can also cause high-cycle thermal fatigue to the structural wall of sodium-cooled fast reactors (SFRs). Numerical simulations using large-eddy simulation (LES) were performed to predict and evaluate the characteristics of the temperature fluctuations related to thermal striping in the upper internal structure (UIS) of the prototype generation-IV sodium-cooled fast reactor (PGSFR). Specific monitoring points were established for the fluid region near the control rod driving mechanism (CRDM) guide tubes, CRDM guide tube walls, and UIS support plates, and the normalized mean and fluctuating temperatures were investigated at these points. It was found that the location of the maximum amplitude of the temperature fluctuations in the UIS was the lowest end of the inner wall of the CRDM guide tube, and the maximum value of the normalized fluctuating temperatures was 17.2%. The frequency of the maximum temperature fluctuation on the CRDM guide tube walls, which is an important factor in thermal striping, was also analyzed using the fast Fourier transform analysis. These results can be used for the structural integrity evaluation of the UIS in SFR.

  • In order to cope with the occurrence of abnormal operation, rotatory condition monitoring system for guide roller of finishing train in wire rolling has been developed. In this study, proximity sensor and its holding devices that could overcome severe in-situ measurement conditions was designed and MMI software using C++ was programmed. Performance of the developed system turned out to be good enough as results of in-line test for POSCO #3 wire rolling mill. It is expected to contribute to prevent the cobble and the grade-down of products caused by the abnornormal operation of guide rollers.

  • In recent years, the number of high-rise buildings has been on the rise. As buildings have become larger in scale, significantly different issues related to their construction and maintenance have emerged. In addition, the automation and mechanization of the cleaning work for the curtain wall, one of the most frequently-performed tasks in building maintenance, is required as a fundamental measure. For this reason, a guide-rail cleaning robot system is emerging as one of the measures in response to external factors, including gust. Therefore, this is a preliminary study for the automation and mechanization of the curtain wall cleaning of high-rise buildings, and aims to derive the basic units and prepare for the concept of the guide rail. It is expected to serve as precedent research for the development and operation of a curtain-wall cleaning robot, and to prepare the basis for an final design of optimal guide rail.

  • The work plate in a construction sites is a frequent cause of falling. But the bulk of the work plates lent to the construction site are handled carelessly by workers. There is general concern about performance declining by repetitive use. However, there is not a accurate guide, research and study on reuse work plate. This study was conducted in order to judge the classification guide to reuse work plate and measure the performance of classified reuse work plates. It is the result that even the A-grade plates classified to be in good shape by workers are below the performance standard. This means that the guide and classification are ineffective.
