예방의학의 발전을 위한 학술활동 (Future of Scientific Research on Preventive Medicine in Korea)

  • The Korean Society of Preventive Medicine has undergone continuous development, after overcoming the difficult early years, in the 59 years since its establishment in 1947. It has repeatedly upgraded its quality and quantity of research with the first journal edition in 1968 and the continuous increase in publication numbers, scientific articles, joint research projects, intra-field exchanges and participation in various international scientific activities. In the future, we should gather a more extensive collection of opinions regarding the introduction of clinical preventive medicine specialists and prepare for the establishment of a training program for clinical specialists into a preventive medicine residency course. Moreover, we should raise interest in the importance of protecting individual information and maintaining medicine ethics. It's impossible to develop academic activities without cooperation. We need such cooperation with basic medical approaches across a wide range of fields. Furthermore, we should strengthen our cooperation with aspects of clinical and drug epidemiology in many fields including public health, statistics, and dietetics. Finally, we should raise the level of international cooperation with many countries, including North Korea, to prevent diseases and promote health. Preventive medicine is a science in which practice is as important as theory. We must aim to nurture preventive medicine specialists who practice in many areas of society with the goal of preventing diseases, promoting health, improving fertility, and securing healthy elderly life for individuals and the entire population. To this end, we will endeavor to promote both theoretical and practical components of academic development.

기업의 윤리정책이 윤리적 의사결정에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 개인특성의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Corporate Ethics Policies on Ethical Decision Making - Focused on the moderating effect of individual variables)

  • 본 연구는 기업의 윤리정책이 윤리적 의사결정에 행위에 미치는 영향에서 개인특성요인의 조절효과를 분석하는데 초점을 맞추었다. 연구의 대상은 서울 및 수도권에 근무하는 정규직 근로자(n=211)을 대상으로 하였으며, 연구모형을 설정하고 이를 통계적 절차에 의하여 검정하였다. 통계분석에는 신뢰도와 타당도 분석, 상관분석, 분산분석 및 조절회귀분석(MRA)을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과로 첫째, 조직의 윤리강령이 있고 이를 실행하는 강도가 높을수록, 기업이 추구하는 가치가 높다고 구성원들이 인지하는 정도가 높을수록 윤리적 의사결정에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 기업외적 윤리적 의사결정의 평가 요인보다 내부적 요인에 의해 직접적인 영향을 받고 있음을 것을 시사하며, 기업의 의사결정이 투명하게 이루어지고 이를 조직구성원들에게 인지토록 하는 것이 필요하다. 둘째, 본 연구에서 설정한 조직의 장기비전에 대하여 높은 인지와 내재적인 통제의 위치에 있는 구성원들이 기업의 윤리적 의사결정에 있어 독립변수의 역할을 수행할 뿐만 아니라 조절변수로서의 역할을 수행하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 통제변수로 사용한 많은 변수간의 윤리적 의사결정수준의 차이가 있음을 알 수 있는데 이는 개인특성요인과 관련된 것으로 향후 높은 윤리적 의사결정의 실행을 위해서는 통제변수의 특성을 고려한 차별화된 교육의 실시가 요구된다.

  • This study classified domestic and international systems by type, presenting their key features and examples, with the aim of outlining future directions for system development and research. AI-based learning assistance systems can be categorized into instructional-learning evaluation types and academic recommendation types, depending on their purpose. Instructional-learning evaluation types measure learners' levels through initial diagnostic assessments, provide customized learning, and offer adaptive feedback visualized based on learners' misconceptions identified through learning data. Academic recommendation types provide personalized academic pathways and a variety of information and functions to assist with overall school life, based on the big data held by schools. Based on these characteristics, future system development should clearly define the development purpose from the planning stage, considering data ethics and stability, and should not only approach from a technological perspective but also sufficiently reflect educational contexts.

중학교 기술·가정교과와 연계한 진로교육 프로그램의 구안과 적용 (Design and Application of Career Education Program Related to the Subject Manual Training and Home Economics of Middle School)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중학교 3학년 기술 가정교과와 연계한 진로교육 프로그램을 구안 적용하여 진로성숙도에 어떠한 효과를 미치는지를 규명하고자 한다. 이를 위해 부산광역시 소재의 D여자중학교 3학년 2개 학급 60명을 대상으로 실험집단에 한 회기에 45분씩 총 15회기의 프로그램을 시행하였고, 통제집단에는 어떠한 조치도 취하지 않았다. 실험집단과 통제집단의 진로성숙도의 차이를 검증하기 위해 SPSS/Window 12를 사용하여 진로성숙도 검사의 평균과 표준편차를 알아보고, 그에 따른 집단 간의 차이를 알아보기 위하여 사전검사 점수를 공변인으로 하여 두 집단의 사후검사 점수에 대해 각각 공변량 분석(ANCOVA)하였다. 그 결과는 첫째, 진로성숙도 태도영역인 독립성과 계획성 요인의 사후검사 결과 실험집단과 통제집단 간에 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 또 일에 대한 태도 요인에서는 실험집단과 통제집단의 사후검사 결과에 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 진로성숙도 능력영역인 직업의 이해능력, 자신의 이해능력, 직업선택능력, 의사결정능력의 사후검사 점수에 대한 집단 간 차이의 유의도를 검증한 결과 두 집단 간에는 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과에 비추어 볼 때, 본 연구의 기술 가정 교과와 연계한 진로교육 프로그램이 중학생들의 진로성숙도를 향상시키는데 도움이 되는 효과적이고 유용한 프로그램임을 알 수 있다.

호스피스 전개에 있어서 과제와 방향에 대한 모색 -호스피스 전개를 위한 교육적 측면에서- (Review on the Approaches and Issues of the Hospice Care Program)

  • The conecpt of hospice care for the terminally ill is a development of relatively modern times, although it has its origins in antiquity. The hospice will be able to handle progressively more and more patient, to the limit of its resources. The purposes of this study were to review of demand and issues of the hospice care programes and to recommand the hospice care approaches in south Korea that using the book-review method. At this point, although at present there is a general unawareness of hospice throughout Korean society, the public will become gradually aware of hospice. This will thus aid the development of hospices. Awareness will come about because of the educational efforts of medical schools, nursing schools, allied health training programs, practicing hospice care giver, universities, and others interested in hospice education. At present, there are many issues of the hospice care program that are hospice resources problems of manpower, facilities, finances, and cost of hospice services, quality of care, and ethics. Additional studies are needed to determine the most efficacious organizational hospice models for varying conditions. They will insist upon reasonable regulatory agency regulations that will promote the hospice idea and. permit adequate remuneration for services provided. More research is needed on health professionals', patients', and others' attitudes towards death.

Hand Surgery Fellowship Selection Criteria: A National Fellowship Director Survey

  • Background Candidate characteristics for hand surgery fellowship training remains unknown, as very little data is available in the literature. This study aims to provide information on the criteria that are employed to select candidates for the hand surgery fellowship match. Methods A 38-question survey was sent in April 2015 to all Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education recognized hand surgery fellowship program directors (n=81) involved in the U.S. match. The survey investigated factors used for the selection of applicants, including medical school, residency training, research experience, fellowship interview, and candidate characteristics. A 5-point Likert scale was used to grade 33 factors from "not at all important" (1) to "essential in making my decision" (5); or for five controversial factors from "very negative impact" (1) to "very positive impact in making my decision" (5). Results A total of 52% (42 out of 81) of responses were received from hand surgery fellowship program directors. The most important influential factors were interactions with faculty during interview and visit ($4.6{\pm}0.6$), interpersonal skills ($4.6{\pm}0.5$), overall interview performance in the selection process ($4.6{\pm}0.6$), professionalism and ethics ($4.6{\pm}0.7$), and letters of recommendation from hand surgeons ($4.5{\pm}0.7$). Factors that have a negative impact on the selection process include visa requirement ($2.1{\pm}1.2$), graduate of non-plastic surgery residency program ($2.4{\pm}1.3$), and graduate of a foreign medical school ($2.4{\pm}1.1$). Conclusions This study provides data on hand surgery fellowship directors' perception on the criteria important for fellowship applicant selection, and showed that interview-related criteria and letters of recommendation are the important factors.

Lifestyle Behaviors and Early Diagnosis Practices of Cancer Patients

  • Background: The aim was to determine the lifestyle behaviors and the practices for early diagnosis of cancer of cancer patients. Materials and Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional design was used for this study. The sample consisted of 222 patients with a diagnosis of cancer (non-random sample method). Ethical permission was obtained of the Non-interventional Research Ethics Committee of our Institution. Values of p<0.05 were accepted as statistically significant. Results: It was observed that 54.4% of the patients had never performed breast self-examination, 60.8% had never had a mammography, and 71.2% had never had a Pap smear. Sixty-six point two percent of patients had never had screening for colon cancer within the past ten years. GIS cancers were higher in smokers and ex-smokers (p=0.005), in drinkers and in ex-drinkers (p=0.000). The breast cancer rate was higher in obese people (p=0.019). Conclusions: The results of this study provide information on the healthy lifestyle behavior of cancer patients before their diagnosis, and their use of early diagnosis practices. The important aspect of this study is to extend cancer patients' period of life after the diagnosis and treatment process, to make them conscious of risky lifestyle and nutritional behavior so that they can maintain a high quality of life, and to start initiatives in this direction that would ensure changes in behavior.

특정직 경호공무원의 전직역량에 대한 보유수준 분석 및 전직지원방안 연구 (A Study on Outplacement Countermeasure and Retention Level Examination Analysis about Outplacement Competency of Special Security Government Official)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 특정직 경호공무원의 전직 역량에 대한 특정직 경호공무원들의 보유수준 조사를 통한 전직지원방안을 제시하는데 있으며, 이를 위해 특정직 경호공무원 중 전직관련 대상자로서 40대 이상 5급 사무관 이상 전직 유경험자인 전직 성공자와 전직 실패자, 전직 희망자인 전직 예정자 600명을 대상으로 지식역량군의 전문지식, 전직관련 지식, 자기이해, 조직이해, 기술역량군의 직무기술역량, 직무수행기술, 문제해결기술, 혁신기술, 커뮤니케이션기술, 조직관리기술, 위기관리기술, 경력개발기술, 인적네트워크 활용기술, 태도 및 감정역량군의 긍정적 태도, 적극적 태도, 책임감, 직업정신, 헌신적 태도, 친화력, 자기조절능력, 가치 및 윤리역량군의 윤리의식, 도덕성 등 4개 역량군 22개 하위역량의 보유수준에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 최종적으로 유효한 설문 응답자 153명의 4개 역량 군 22개 하위역량 항목에 대한 설문조사 분석결과, 현재 보유수준 값이 4.0이상인 전문지식, 긍정적 태도, 책임감, 윤리의식, 도덕성 역량 등에 있어서는 어느 정도 갖추었다고 생각하고 있으나, 그 외 역량에 대해서는 보통이하 점수로 다소 낮게 나타나, 이들 역량들에 대해서는 아직은 부족하다고 인식하고 있다. 따라서 이러한 역량 강화를 위한 특정직 경호공무원의 성공적인 전직지원방안으로서는 전직에 대한 인식과 개념을 재정립하고 현실을 직시할 수 있도록 눈높이를 낮추어야 하며, 전직에 필요한 역량으로서 다소 부족하다고 느끼고 있는 역량들에 대해서는 평소에 관심을 가지고 적극적인 개발 및 강화 노력이 요구된다. 제도적 차원에서 이러한 전직 역량을 갖출 수 있도록 퇴직 전 중 후 전직 교육훈련 강화 및 현 교육훈련체계 반영, 수요자 중심의 온-오프 상 교육훈련시스템 운영, 학습조직화 등 전직교육훈련 인프라를 구축할 필요성이 있다.

물리치료 임상실습 교과내용 개선을 위한 조사연구 (The Survey for Improvement in Clinical Practice Curriculum of Physiotherapy)

  • This Study was to investigate elaborated research themes and direction through specifying the problems of clinical practice education and looking for the direction of improvement. It was in the basis of the viewpoint of the educators that professors and therapists who were the subjects of this study. Perform this study, the 15 colleges' professors and the 55 hospitals' therapists was made up questionnaire, and the data was analysing by Chi-square test and percentage. The results were as follow : ${\cdot}$ In a personal history among the general qualities, professors have little clinical practice history(l-5 years, 53.3%), and therapists have little lecture career(1-5 years, 43.6%, have no 49.0%), ${\cdot}$ The 78.6% subjects were unsatisfied of clinical practice systems. ${\cdot}$ The correlation between clinical history, school career and lecture career and the satisfaction level of clinical practice systems has no(P<.005), ${\cdot}$ The subjects were agreed to that clinical practice curriculum should be changed(67.1%), reinforced(82.9%), and specified(90.0%). ${\cdot}$ The clinical practice credits are 11 points averagely. ${\cdot}$ In the clinical practice curriculum, it made no difference in the practicum of diseases, modality, and the therapeutic techniques between professors and therapists. ${\cdot}$ The 100% professors said that the practicum of the patients' assessment is necessary, and the 63.6% therapists were training for that. ${\cdot}$ The 66.7% professors said that the practicum of the clinical psychology is necessary, and only the 20.0% therapists were training for that. ${\cdot}$ The 93.3% professors said that the practicum of the patients' management is necessary, and the 50.9% therapists were training for that. ${\cdot}$ The 66.7% professors said that the practicum of the medical ethics is necessary, and the 34.5% therapists were training for that. ${\cdot}$ The 46.7% professors said that the practicum of the hospital administration is necessary, but the 54.5% therapists have not training. ${\cdot}$ The 33.3% professors said that the practicum of the pharmacology is necessary, but the 81.8% therapists have not training. ${\cdot}$ The 86.7% professors said that the practicum of the patient's education is necessary, and the 43.6% therapists have training. ${\cdot}$ The 66.7% professors said that the practicum of the prosthesis and brace is necessary, but the 14.5% therapists have not training. ${\cdot}$ The 60.0% professors said that the practicum of the exercise prescription is necessary, but the 25.5% therapists have not training. ${\cdot}$ The 53.5% professors said that the practicum of the emergency treatment is necessary, but the 52.7% therapists have not training. ${\cdot}$ Drawing up the plan about the curriculum of clinical practice, the professors (46.7%) were agreed to national master plan framing by an expert advisor, but the therapists (58.2%) said that the plan that make the most of hospitals' characteristics should be specified. ${\cdot}$ It was found that a clinical special therapists(54.5%) was good as a person in charge of clinical practice education, in that each therapist's own good time (34.5%) was. ${\cdot}$ It made use of the form framing by college(40.0%) as the clinical practice textbook, the form framing by hospital (42.9%) and each therapist(22.9%) as the plan, and the form framing by college (74.3%) as the measurement. ${\cdot}$ The most difficult point in clinical practice education was the lacks of the theory-praciticum linkage(78.2%). ${\cdot}$ It was found that the period of clinical practice was in the second semester-third grade (40.0%) and the desirable period was in the first semester-third grade(50.0%). ${\cdot}$ Professors (53.3%) were agreed that the desirable clinical practice duration was from four months to six months(60.0%), and the therapists (60.0%) were agreed that from one month to three months. ${\cdot}$ This study presented the lacks of rearing the experts, the lacks of cultural education, and the lacks of the theory-clinical practice linkage. There were need to develop the systematic programs, clinical practice textbooks, the measurements and the special hospital for clinical practice. And it was need to reduce the gab between of the hospitals for clinical practice, to cut down the costs. and to improve the labour conditions of leaders. In view of this findings, it takes notice of that both professor and therapist were dissatisfied at the present clinical practice systems. These results point out the problems of clinical practice systems, and do not make expect to us the successive and positive clinical practice. The general, specific and intensive plan about the problems and the direction of improvement that establishing the level of hospital for clinical practice and physiotherapy can be elaborated.

NCS 기반 직업능력개발훈련 기관인증평가를 위한 평가자의 역할과 역량 분석 (Analysis of Evaluator's Role and Capability for Institution Accreditation Evaluation of NCS-based Vocational Competency Development Training)

  • NCS의 성공은 직업능력개발훈련 기관인증평가자의 역할과 역량에 달려 있다. 이 연구는 NCS기반 직업능력개발훈련 기관인증을 위한 평가자의 역할과 역량을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. 델파이 기법을 적용하여 평가자의 구체적 역할을 다각적으로 탐색하고, 필요한 지식과 기술, 태도 그리고 특성을 도출하여 그 타당성을 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 교육훈련 전문가와 심사평가 전문가를 패널로 선정하여 3차에 걸친 델파이 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 평가자의 역할은 총 8개로 운영자, 조정 중재자, 협력자, 분석가, 검증가, 기관평가자, 기관컨설턴트, 학습자로 분류되었고, 각 역할에 따른 역량은 총 25개로 도출되었다. 지식 영역은 HRD 지식, NCS 지식, 직업능력개발훈련 지식, 훈련기관인증평가 지식의 총 4개의 역량이 포함되었다. 기술 영역은 갈등관리 능력, 대인관계 능력, 문서작성 능력, 문제해결 능력, 분석 능력, 사전준비 능력, 시간관리 능력, 의사결정 능력, 정보이해 활용 능력, 종합적사고 능력, 직업훈련기관에 대한 이해 능력, 커뮤니케이션 능력, 피드백 능력, 핵심파악 능력의 총 14개의 역량으로 구성되었다. 태도영역은 객관성 및 공정성, 서비스 마인드, 소명의식, 윤리의식, 자기개발, 책임감, 팀워크의 총 7개로 정리됐다. 이 연구의 결과로 도출된 역할과 역량은 평가자가 일정한 요건을 갖추어 공정하고 체계적으로 인증평가할 수 있도록 평가자 대상 교육프로그램을 설계하고 운영하는 데 유용할 것이다. 특히, 평가자의 경험과 역할에 따라 기초교육 및 향상 교육을 실시할 수 있도록 역량별 교육 프로그램을 모듈별로 설계하고, 지속적으로 평가자의 품질을 관리하는 데 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.
