Mental health service facilities implement an effort to meet the increased mental health demands. However, no specific 'mental health expert education program' have been offered yet. This study aimed to develop of the expert education programs which are general programs(GP), and specific programs(SP) for the management of mental health prevention in 3 kinds of facilities, psychosocial rehabilitation centers, homeless facilities, and domestic violence counselling facilities. Data were gathered from the service providers by structured questionnaire, and experts related with mental health by delphi study. We surveyed the management status and present expert programs. Consequently, domains of the education programs were extracted. As results, we identified the type of provider's job & demands for education. Thus, we gained the informations for developing the expert education programs in mental health facilities. GP were composed by 3 domains and 9 programs, and SP were composed by 3 programs each facilities. This study should be helpful in expanding the government educational operations related with mental health prevention areas. Eventually, community mental health will be promoted and socio-economic burdens by mental health problems will be lessened. In addition, it will be a basic evidence for developing specialized programs in a mental health prevention system foundation.

Parish nursing is a community health nursing role developed in 1983 by Lutheran Chaplain Granger Westberg. An increasing emphasis on holistic care, personal responsibility for a healthy lifestyle, and changes in healthcare delivery systems have undoubtedly facilitated the establishment of an innovative nursing role in the community. Parish nurses are functioning in a variety of church congregations of various denominations. The parish nurse is a educator, a personal health counselor, a coordinator of volunteers. The parish nurses helps people relate to the complexed medical care system and assists people to integrate faith and health. The subjects were 1138 parishioners of 23 churches of various denominations in nationwide Korea. Data were collected by self-reported question naires from Feb 4 to June 25. 1999. The data were analyzed by using percentage. frequency. $x^2-test$. multiple Response set with SPSS program. The results are as follows: 1. Desired parish nursing contents by parish nurses are: psychological counselling(23.4%) out of private counselling. stress management(21.1 %) out of private health education. Emergency care(14.1%) out of group health education. Blood Pressure check-ups (19.0%) out of Health check ups. home visiting(44.9%) out of patient visiting method. B T. pulse, respiration and blood pressure check(15.0%) in Care to serve in home visiting. spiritual preparation to accept the death(41.7%) in hospice care, advices to choice of medical treatment using guide(50.1%) in introducing and guiding of health care facilities, pray(21.7%) in spiritual care' faith support. 2. Desired Health Teaching Content According to Period of Clients by Parish Nurse are: Vaccination(22.5%) in infant and toddler health management. sexual education(25.3%) in adolescent health management. prenatal care (29.5%) in pregnant health management. osteoporosis prevention and management (22.4%) in Middle aged health management. dementia prevention and management(25.5%) in elderly health management. 3. The expectant role from parish nurse is spiritual care faith support(14.1%). patient visiting care(13.2%), hospice care(12.9%), private counseling(12.8%), health check ups (11.1 %), volunteer organization and training out of believer(11.0%), private health education (9.3%), group health education (8.3%). 4. In Necessity of Performing Parish Nursing according to Region, Most(over 95%) responded that nursing program is needed. so there is no significance between regions. In Performing Parish Nursing in their church, Most(92.2%) responded they want to perform program. 5. In case of performing parish nursing, 52% out of the subjects responded they want to participated in parish nursing volunteer's activity, for example. to be in active to be a companion to chat(42.1%), necessity support (25.3%), donation support(25.0%), exercise support(18.2%), vehicles support (9.9%). As a result. in holistic care and spiritual care, the need of parish nursing and the role expectation from parish nurse are very high among korean believers. Therefore, I suggest parish nursing centering around Taegu and Kyungbuk province should be extended to nationwide. For extending parish nursing program. more active advertisement and research is needed. After performing parish nursing program through out the country, further comparative research between regions should be practiced and Korean parish nursing program will be developed and activated.

This research aims to produce and implement web-based continuing nurse education programs in response to nurses' educational needs, and to verify them, thus preparing for the times that the program will be offered via web. This research designed, produced and implemented 'emergency nursing' and 'medical fee schedule management' subjects based on Jung, In-seong's(1997) web-based instructional system design, and then compared the learning achievements of web-based learning group of 38 people with those of face-to-face learning group of 39 people. The questionnaire have been developed by these researchers to measure pre-learning knowledge on 'emergency nursing' and 'medical fee schedule management.' Data collected for this research have been given statistical analysis, using SPSS 10.0 for Windows Program. As a result of giving Mann-Whitney test, with respect to pre-learning prior knowledge level, there was no significant difference between the web-based learning group and the face-to-face learning group(Z=-.092, p=.926), while after completing learning, there was a significant difference in the learning achievements between the web-based learning group and the face-to-face learning group(Z=-2.406, p=.008). That is, this research revealed this: the web-based learning group and the face-to face learning group with both having no significant difference in the pre-learning level, after receiving the continuing education each with different methods(face-to-face education and web-based education), showed that the web-based learning groups attained higher learning achievements than the face-to-face learning groups. This result proves the effect of the web-based education to be no worse or even better than that of the face-to-face education, provided that choices of appropriate themes and quality courses composition, as well as systematic design development effective implementation are guaranteed.

The purpose of this study is to develop a new equipment acceptance model in the industrial market and test it empirically using a field survey. To define new equipment acceptance factors of employees in the organization, we used the TAM as a useful model to analyze the acceptance process of new equipment. All of the data for the TAM were collected from the employees. Prior research studied the usage of general information technology using a computer and particular software, while we apply the TAM to the new equipment adoption. In this study, both theoretical review and empirical study were conducted and the model was set through the theoretical study which was tested through the empirical analysis. Management support and training/education were shown to have a positive effect on PU and PEOU. Personal innovativeness, management support, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use were shown to have a positive effect on behavioral intention.
Purpose: This research is to find a solution for educational work on high blood pressure control in public health centers by analyzing their current status. Method: It analyzed data from 133 public health centers that had been doing educational work on high blood pressure, through a questionnaire. Also, it developed recommendations by converging opinions from an expert group made of 25 people with nominal group technique. Result: The educational methods of public health centers did not make any approach to get to the goal of the work. The mass media education and campaign activities for the general public had just temporary and passive propensities. In education for patients, it did not use appropriate methods to present management techniques for diagnosis process of patients, medication management, self monitoring BP, and risk factors. Pocket book for monitoring high blood pressure was not focused on self-recording for self-management. The expert group recommended that educational materials for adults should be developed focusing on treatments and observance of risk factors through daily living, and those for children should be focused on basic understanding about diseases, and life style. Conclusion: Presenting direction and strategy of fundamental education work is needed for public health centers by giving them standard educational guidelines of managing high blood pressure nationally, and it is desirable that fundamental frameworks of educational materials should be developed and distributed by professional groups nationally.
