Purpose: The present study investigates if the type of organizational culture influences the level of job-related stress. This study is significant because creating the need to explore the concept to become more informed on the best practices to promote and foster a positive culture that prioritizes workers, it could result in a healthier workforce, improved organizational performance, and success. Research design, data and methodology: Examining previous studies by other researchers was the primary research tool for this study. The organized approach of gathering data and assessing related work was vital in developing a fundamental basis for advancing knowledge on this concept while enhancing theory development and drawing more informed conclusion. Results: These four types, including the clan, adhocracy, hierarchical, and market cultures, contribute significantly in revealing four associations between the two variables, including (i) supportive culture and reduced stress, (ii) high pressure and increased stress, (iii)autonomous culture and variable stress levels, and (iv) open culture and low-stress levels. Conclusions: The literature affirms a multifaceted link between employee workplace stress and organizational culture type. The findings show that these cultures are crucial in influencing the level of stress among employees. All four types were hypothesized to have a significant relationship with job stress.

This paper analyzes the relationship between organizational development culture, intra-organizational trust, and communication and their influence on corporate competitiveness. The research model is composed that development culture has a positive effect on trust and communication, and that trust and communication have a positive effect on corporate competitiveness. The data for the analysis were integrated at the company level (510 companies) and used the data of 9,053 employees collected in the 1st survey of the Human Capital Company Panel(HCCP II) of the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training(KRIVET). For corporate competitiveness, responses to 10 factors for internal process capability and customer service capability were used. The structural equation model was employed to analyze the research model. As a result of the analysis, development culture had a positive effect on organizational trust and communication. And trust and communication were found to have a positively effect on corporate competitiveness. In the indirect effect analysis through bootstrapping, the development culture did not show indirect effects through trust and communication, so only direct effects between development culture, trust and communication, and corporate competitiveness could be confirmed.

Purpose: This research was, by investigating the relations between the cultural types of a nursing organization in military hospital and performance, to ascertain the cultural types to be able to improve performance. Method: The date were gathered from 255 nurse officers who were in 19 military hospitals by using the self-report type of questionnaire. The period of data collection was from April 20, 2003 to July 15, 2003. For this research, the following tools were used: the tools for measuring the organizational characteristics, organizational culture, and job satisfaction, the tool for measuring organizational commitment. For data analysis the SPSS Win 12.0 program was used. Result: 1) Most of the cultural types of a nursing organization in military hospital is Relation-oriented. 2) In the relation between general the characteristics of subject and the organizational cultural type, there was a difference in the innovation-oriented, relation-oriented, hierarchy-oriented, and task-oriented culture according to nurse officers careers, hospital types, year in hospital, marital status, and unit(p<0.05). 3) In the relation between general characteristics of subject and organizational performance, there was a difference in the job satisfaction, affective commitment, transactional commitment, and normative commitment according to nurse officers careers, education, madrigal status and unit(p<0.05). 4) In the relationship between the of a military hospital were correlated with the type of each culture(p=0.00), 5) In the relation between the organizational culture type of military hospital and its performance, there was a positive correlation among job satisfaction and innovation-oriented culture, relation-oriented culture, task-oriented culture(p<0.05). And hierarchy-oriented culture showed that they had a weak negative correlation with job satisfaction(p<0.05). There was a positive correlation among affective commitment and innovation-oriented culture, relation-oriented culture, task-oriented culture(p<0.05). And hierarchy-oriented culture showed that they had a weak negative correlation with affective commitment(p<0.05). There was no culture type significantly related to continuance commitment and there was a weak positive correlation among normative commitment and innovation-oriented culture, relation-oriented culture, task-oriented culture. The types to have an influence upon nurse officers' job satisfaction were relation-oriented culture and innovation-oriented culture(p=0.00). And relation-oriented culture and innovation-oriented culture were major variances for affective commitment and only relation-oriented culture was influential variance for normative commitment(p=0.00). Conclusion: The organizational culture type was found which had an influence upon nurse officers' job satisfaction and organizational commitment. These result are very significant in having showed the persons in charge of nursing administration a basic data for creation of an effective organizational culture.
Physiological analysis of swimming in 13 (age:16.3 years, freestyle swimming) and 15 (age:17.2 years, breast stroke swimming) high school boys through oxygen uptake and oxygen debt measurements were performed. The following results were obtained. 1. In freestyle swimming oxygen debt was greater and mechanical efficiency was lower in subjects with less speed. In beginner efficiency was only 1.35%, whereas, in a more skilled subject it ranged to 4.28%. The mean efficiency was 2.59%. 2. In freestyle swimming the speed-oxygen debt curve was convex to the speed axis and the curve shifted to the right the more the speed was greater. 3. Maximal oxygen uptake in breast stroke swimming was 2.51 l/min or 41.8 ml/kin/kg and was 79.3% of treadmill running. Maximal pulmonary ventilation in breast stroke swimming was 73.1 l/min and was 87% of treadmill running. Maximal ventilation equivalent was 2.89 liters. 4. In subjects with greater speed of breast stroke swimming maximal oxygen uptake and mechanical efficiency of swimming were greater. The mechanical efficiency of breast stroke swimming averaged 1.08% $(range:0.51{\sim}1.70%)$. The coefficient of correlation between speed and efficiency was r=.87.
Potato spindle tuber viroid(PSTVd) RNAs were isolated from PSTVd-inoculated potato cv. Superioc and carried out RT-RCR with reverse transcriptase and PSTVd specifie primer pair desigened to amplify the 356 nucleotides of PSTVd genome. As a result, 356 nucleotides PCR products were amplified from PSTVd-inoculated potato cv. Superior. The 356 nucleotides DNA fragment was indeed the PSTVd geneby sequencing analysis. PSTVd could be successfully detected from infected leaf and tuber tissue of potato by using RT-PCR technique. Especially PSTVd was more effectively detected when both downstream and upstream primer were used than only downstream primer was used in RT reaction.
To examine the feasibility of the long-term production of the human granulocyte colony stimulating factor (hG-CSF) using the $_{L}-arabinose$ promoter system of Escherichia coli, flask relay culture and cyclic fed-batch culture were performed. In the flask relay culture, it was found that the pismid was maintained stably up to about 170 generations in an uninduced condition, whereby the cells could also maintain the capability of expressing hG-CSF expression were maintained stably up to at least 100 generations. In contrast, in the cyclid fed-batch culture, segregational plasmid instability was observed within about 4 generations after induction, even though the cell growth and hG-CSF production reached their maximum balues, 78.0 g/l of dry cell weight and 7.0 g/l of hG-CSF, respectively. It would appear that, when compared to the flask relay culture, the high-cell density and high-level expression of hG-CSF in the cyclic fed-batch cultrure led to the segregational plasmid instability; in other words, a severe metabolic burden existe on the cells due to the high-level expression of hG-CSF. Accordingly, based on these long-term cultures, the segregational and structural plasmid instability was observed and a strategy to overcome such problems could be designed.
The culture filtrate of Streptomyces sp. B25, which was identified in this experiment, was tested for the control of tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) with the susceptible tobacco cultivar, NC 82, under the field conditions following the preliminary examination of its characters for TMV control. Control efficacy of the culture filtrate against TMV infection continued over 50% up to 6 days after treatment, and its systemic effect was about 30% of the direct effect. In field conditions control efficacy of the culture filtrate against TMV infection was 95.3 % at 2 weeks after TMV inoculation, and decreased to 58.3 % at 3 weeks after inoculation. Five fold-dilution of the culture filtrate showed about half of the control efficacy by the stock culture filtrate. Analysis of the antibiotic material responsible for the inhibition of TMV infection through nuclear magnetic resonance experiments revealed that the antibiotic is antimycin $A_1$, which is firstly reported as an anti-phytoviral antibiotic in this experiment.

Fashion as a field of cultural studies is a very complex field that is very interesting to discuss, especially in Indonesia as the very rich country in cultures and past traditions. This research will discuss the development of fashion in Bali, one area that is opulent in its cultures. Based on the research conducted by today's fashion development, Bali is still strongly influenced by factors inherited from traditional values that exist in the Balinese culture. This research is conducted by applying the qualitative method with the ethnography approach to unravel any factor in Bali so that it becomes the foundation and triggers the rapid development of fashion by still maintaining the values of the tradition. Considering that the values of tradition as a whole have a good impact on the preservation of the natural balance and various factors that exist in society, whether these factors still exist in other regions of Indonesia and they are possible to be developed in various regions of Indonesia. So hopefully the development of fashion in Indonesia as a whole can maintain the local content that characterizes the Indonesian Nation and have a positive impact on the balance of nature and also to the community in Indonesia and the world culture.
