Hot Plate is the major unit that it used to remove damp of wafer surface, to strength adhesion of photoresist (PR) and to bake coated PR in FAB process of semiconductor. The badness of Hot Plate (HP) has directly influence upon the performance of wafer, it is necessary to guarantee the performance of HP. In this study, a reliability evaluation system has been designed and developed, which is to measure and to estimate thermal uniformity and flatness of HP in range of temperature 0~$250^\circC$. This system has included the techniques which measures and analyzes thermal uniformity using infrared thermal vision, and which compensates measuring error of flatness using laser displacement sensor For measuring flatness, a measurement stage of 3 axes are developed which adapts the precision encoder. The allowable error of this system in respect of thermal uniformity is less $than\pm0.1^\circC$ and in respect of flatness is less $than\pm$1mm . It is expected that the developed system can measure from $\Phi200mm\;(wafer 8")\;to\;\Phi300mm$ (wafer 12") and also can be used in performance test of the Cool Plate and industrial heater, etc.

Background: Aconitum sinomontanum Nakai (ASN) has been reported to have analgesic effects. In this study an animal model of pharmacopuncture using ASN (100-500 mg/kg) was examined. Methods: Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats (n = 40) were randomly assigned to ASN-Low (1 mg/mL, 1.8 mL, ASN-L), ASN-Intermediate (5 mg/mL, 1.8 mL, ASN-M), ASN-High (10 mg/mL, 1.8 mL, ASN-H), negative control (0.2 mL normal saline), and positive control (0.2 mL 0.5% lidocaine) groups. All experiments were administered to the rats' left hind leg. The analgesic response was assessed by monitoring the physical (hot plate, and von Frey test) and chemical (formalin) responses to pain. Results: All ASN pharmacopuncture groups demonstrated significant differences in pain response to the hot plate test, von Frey test, and formalin test, compared to the control group (p < 0.05). The response of the ASN-M group and ASN-H groups to the hot plate, the formalin, and the von Frey tests were significantly different, compared to the lidocaine group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: ASN pharmacopuncture had a significant analgesic effect on SD rats in response to physical and chemical models of pain.

Objectives : We investigated the effects of Hominis placenta Herbal acupuncture on rheumatoid arthritis. Methods : We investigated the Type II collagen-induced arthritis test, vascular permeability test, phenyl benzoquinone-induced writhing test, hot plate test, carbon clearance test, determination of prostaglandin $E_2$ content and cyclooxygenase-2 activity test. Results : Hominis placenta Herbal acupuncture suppressed Type II collagen-induced arthritis in DBA/1J mice and vascular permeability with 10.2% inhibition in ICR mice. We see the phenyl benzoquinone-induced writhing test and the hot plate test in the analgesic activity test. In the phenyl benzoquinone-induced writhing test, Hominis placenta Herbal acupuncture showed that it increased its analgesic effect more than the control(test?) by 85.5%. In the hot plate test, it was also shown that the analgesic effect increased more than the control(test) by 32.1%. In the carbon clearance test, the immuno-stimulatory effect showed more than the control(test) by 8.0%. The formation of prostaglandin $E_2$ was also reduced more than the control(test) by 10.1%. Finally, cyclooxygenase-2 activity was inhibitedwith 36.3%. Conclusions : Hominis placenta Herbal acupuncture may be useful for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis after injection.
A study was carried out to find distribution of Legionella spp. in hot water supplying systems of buildings in Seoul. Water samples were taken from the hot water taps in three research institute buildings during the period from the 2nd to 27th February, 1987. And all of the three buildings were supplied with hot water from the same central hot water tank. GVPC BCYEa and blood agar were used for the isolation of Legionella pneurnophila and slide agglutination test (SAT) was performed to identify their strain types. Main findings were as follows 1. 44 samples taken from hot tap-water revealed 20% of positive culture and 44 samples taken from hot water spouts revealed 11% of positive culture. 2. The 78% of positive samples taken from hot water was obtained from 25.1$\circ$C~45.0$\circ$C temperature range. 3. Only, Legionella pneumophila serogroup 3 was identified and most of them has been than 2$\mu$m in length. 4. The densities of the Legionella pneurnophila isolated from hot water samples were within the range of $1.0\times 10^2$ to $1.1\times 10^3$ CFU/l and their densities isolated from hot water spouts were either 1 CFU/plate or 2 CFU/plate.
The effect of alcoholic extract of Anthocephalus (A.) Cadamba Roxb. was evaluated in experimental models of pain and ulcer. Hot tail flick test, hot plate test and acetic acid induced writhing test were employed for evaluating the peripheral as well as central analgesic mechanism exerted by the extracts. Gastroprotective activity was examined by HCl and ethanol induced gastric damage test. Test group received crude extract 500 mg/kg showed maximum time needed for the response against thermal stimuli (6.26 ${\pm}$ 0.439 s) which is comparable to diclofenac sodium (6.56 ${\pm}$ 0.381 s) in hot tail flick method. These experimental results also followed the experimental results of hot plate test where crude extract 500 mg/kg showed maximum time needed for the response against thermal stimuli (4.74 ${\pm}$ 0.234 s) which is comparable to diclofenac sodium (5.58 ${\pm}$ 0.585 s). The crude extract at 500 and 250 mg/kg showed significant reduction in acetic acid induced writhing in mice with a maximum effect of 68.026% reduction at 500 mg/kg dose which is comparable to standard diclofenac sodium (79.93%). In gastroprotective study the extract of A. Cadamba (250 and 500 mg/kg) significantly inhibited ulceration induced by both HCl and ethanol dose dependently. Results of the study suggest that the extract possesses both analgesic and gastroprotective activity on mice.
Triterpenoids, ursolic acid (1) and 23-hydroxyursolic acid (2) were obtained from the hydrolysis of BuOH fraction of Cussonia bancoensis extract to test anti nociceptive and anti-inflammatory effect of C. bancoensis (Araliaceae). Compound 1 and 2 exhibited anti-nociceptive effects, which were determined by acetic acid-induced writhing test and hot plate test. The effect of 2 was much more potent in acetic acid-induced writhing test than in hot plate test. Compound 1 and 2 significantly inhibited 1%-carrageenan-induced edema in the rat. These results suggest that the two triterpenes, ursolic acid and 23-hydroxyursolic acid, are responsible for the antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory effect of C. bancoesnsis.
Water jet impingement cooling has been widely used in a various engineering applications; especially in cooling of hot steel plate of steelmaking processes and heat treatment in hot metals as an effective method of removing high heat flux. The effects of cooling water temperature on water jet impingement cooling are primarily investigated for hot steel plate cooling applications in this study. The local heat flux measurements are introduced by a novel experimental technique that has a function of high-temperature heat flux gauge in which test block assemblies are used to measure the heat flux distribution during water jet impingement cooling. The experiments are performed at fixed flow rate and fixed nozzle-to-target spacing. The results show that effects of cooling water temperature on the characteristics of jet impingement heat transfer are presented for five different water temperatures ranged from 5 to $45^{\circ}C$. The local heat flux curves and heat transfer coefficients are also provided with respect to different boiling regimes.

The effect of nozzle height on heat transfer of a hot steel plate cooled by an impinging liquid jet is not well understood. Previous studies have been based on the dimensionless parameter z/d. To test the validity of this dimensionless parameter and to investigate gravitational effects on the jet, stagnation velocity of an impinging liquid jet were measured and the cooling experiments of a hot steel plate were conducted for z/d from 6.7 to 75, and an inverse heat conduction method is applied for the quantitative comparison. Also, the critical instability point of a liquid jet was examined over a range of flow rates. The experimental velocity data for the liquid jet were well correlated with the dimensionless number 1/F $r_{z}$$^2$based on distance. It was thought that the z/d parameter was not valid for heat transfer to an impinging liquid jet under gravitational forces. In the cooling experiments, heat transfer was independent of z when 1/F $r_{z}$$^2$< 0.187(z/d = 6.7). However, it was found that the heat transfer quantity for 1/F $r_{z}$$^2$=0.523(z/d = 70) is larger 11% than that in the region for 1/F $r_{z}$$^2$=0.187. The discrepancy between these results and previous research is likely due to the instability of liquid jet.uid jet.
A study on the progressive inelastic deformation behavior of the 316 L stainless steel cylindrical structure with plate-to-shell junction under moving temperature front was carried out by structural test and analysis. The structural test intends to simulate the thermal ratcheting behavior occurring at the reactor baffle of the liquid metal reactor as free surface of hot sodium pool moves up and down under plant transients. The thermal ratchet load that heats the specimen up to 550$^{\circ}C$ was applied repeatedly and residual deformation was measured. The thermal ratcheting test was carried out with two types of cylindrical structures, one with plate to-shell junction and the other without the junction to investigate the effects of the geometric discontinuities on the global ratcheting deformation. The temperature distributions of the test specimens were measured and were used for the ratcheting analysis. The ratchet deformations were analyzed with the constitutive equation of the non-linear combined hardening model. The analysis results were in good agreement with those of the structural tests.
The growth of intermetallic compounds is an important factor in the reliability of solar cells. Especially, the temperature change in the soldering process greatly affects the thickness of the intermetallic compound layer. In this study, we investigated the intermetallic compound growth by Sn-diffusion in solder joints of solar cells. The thickness of the intermetallic compound layer was analyzed by IR lamp power and hot plate temperature control, and the correlation between the intermetallic compound layer and the adhesive strength was confirmed by a $90^{\circ}$ peel test. In order to investigate the growth of the intermetallic compound layer during isothermal aging, the growth of the intermetallic compound layer was analyzed at $85^{\circ}C$ and 85% for 500 h. In addition, the activation energy of Sn was calculated. The diffusion coefficient of the intermetallic compound layer was simulated and compared with experimental results to predict the long-term reliability.
