  • The purpose of this study was to examine which variables affect customer relationship management in discount store focusing on satisfaction, trust and commitment. A total of 360 participants who had purchased fashion products in discount store were used in this study. The data was analyzed by factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis using SPSS program. As the result, benefits, information, reputation, product, location, salesperson and price factor were extracted. The price, information, reputation, product and location variables had the effects on satisfaction, especially, price had the major effects on satisfaction. The satisfaction, information, salesperson, price and location had the effects on trust. The satisfaction, trust, information, benefits and product had the effects on commitment. The reputation variable had direct effect on relationship maintenance. Also, satisfaction, trust and commitment had the effects on relationship maintenance. Specifically commitment had higher effect on relationship maintenance than satisfaction and trust did. The results of this study would provide CRM marketing strategy for fashion marketers of discount store.

의류기업의 협력업체에 대한 신뢰에 영향을 미치는 선행변인 (Examining the Antecedents of Trust in Apparel Manufacturer-Contractor Relationships)

  • This study identifies the antecedents of trust in the examination of the effects of the antecedents of trust on trust in apparel manufacturer-contractor relationships. A total of 92 apparel manufactures participated in this study. A factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, and multiple regression analysis were conducted for the statistical analysis. Five antecedents of trust were classified: flexibility, opportunistic behavior, communication, specific investment, reputation. Two factors of trust were identified: credibility and benevolence. Flexibility, communication, and reputation of a contractor positively influenced the credibility of an apparel manufacture in a contractor. Flexibility, communication, and specific investment of a contractor positively relate to the benevolence of an apparel manufacture in a contractor. However, the opportunistic behavior of a contractor did not relate to either the credibility of an apparel manufacture or the benevolence in a contractor. The results of this study provide empirical evidence of the impact of flexibility, communication, specific investment, reputation on trust in apparel manufacturer-contractor relationships, and additional insight for selecting contractors that seek to improve trust in apparel manufacturer-contractor relationships.

Critical Factors Affecting the Choice of Logistics Service Provider: An Empirical Study in Vietnam

  • The trend of globalization leads an increased need for international freight transportation and accelerates the development of the international logistics industry. The objective of this paper is to identify the critical factors that affect the choice of logistics service provider (LSP). The data sample was collected through a questionnaire, responded by 218 companies that outsource logistics services. The analysis uses descriptive statistics; exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and regression analysis were conducted with SPSS. The role of capabilities, customer service, and company reputation were evaluated and tested. Our findings show that capabilities and customer service have a considerable impact on the choice of LSP. The findings also indicate that company reputation do not have significant impact on the choice of LSP. They also showed that the capabilities is the variable that has the most significant effect on the choice of LSP. An implication of this study is that the competition should not only focus on pricing, but should be extended to improving enterprises capabilities, i.e., upgrading human resources, modernizing the modes of transportation, expanding business geographically and developing new technologies. Our study provides LSP managers with insights into how to meet customer expectations in the competitive logistics service sector.

The Effect of Essential Online Elements on Consumer Purchase Intention: Insights from a Taobao Perspective

  • Purpose - Transparency, seller reputation, and website security are considered to be important factors that influence online customer purchasing decisions in China. This paper empirically examines the relative influence of Taobao.com on customers' online purchasing decisions. Research design, data, and methodology - We perform structural equation analysis, with a sample of 306 observations. The data comes from consumers' real transaction experiences from a specific website. This gives the results of our study more generalizability than studies using subjects who are not asked to engage in real transactions. Results - The results of this study reveal that perceived security and perceived reputation are critical factors affecting consumer trust and perceived transparency is most closely associated with purchase intention. Conclusions - The findings suggest that perceived transparency plays a significant role in increasing online consumer's purchase intention. The knowledge of the relative impacts of these factors and their roles in the customer transaction experience will be useful in developing customized sales strategies. The results of this study reveal that perceived transparency exerts a stronger effect than perceived reputation on consumer purchase intentions.

미용서비스의 과정적, 결과적 품질과 소비자 만족에 관한 연구 (Service Quality and Consumer Satisfaction in Beauty Service ; Relating to the Outcome Quality and the Process Quality)

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to examine the conceptual structure of outcome quality and process quality of beauty service, 2) to investigate the relationships among beauty service quality, consumer satisfaction, word-of-mouth reputation and perceived risk, and 3) to find out the effects of related variables on consumer satisfaction. The questionnaire was developed based on pretest and previous studies, and completed by 435 female consumers that experienced beauty service during about one month in Busan. First, factor analysis showed that the process quality of beauty services consisted of four factors, such as Employee Service, Physical Service, Time-saving Service, and Economic Service. And the outcome service quality consisted of two factors, such as Socio-psychological service, Functional service. Second, the higher word-of-mouth reputation and the lower perceived risk were the higher perceived beauty service quality and the more satisfied with service. Third, the process quality of beauty service, word-of-mouth reputation, socio-psychological service quality effected on consumer satisfaction. Especially, the employee service was very important on consumer satisfaction.

이러닝 수강의도와 선행요인간 관계에서 사용자-구매자 차이 (Buyer-User differences in relationships among antecedents and e-learning attending intention)

  • 중고등교과 관련 이러닝은 사용자(학습자)와 구매자(학부모)가 다른 경우가 많다. 본 연구는 이러닝사용자와 구매자의 선택행동이 다를 것이라는 가정을 실증하였다. 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 전체소비자를 대상으로 할 경우 이러닝 강좌에 대한 인지된 유용성, 상호작용성, 사이트 명성은 소비자의 수강의도에 긍정적인 영향을 주었지만, 콘텐츠품질은 회귀되지 않았다. 그러나 이러닝사용자(학습자)집단에서는 상호작용과 인지된 유용성, 콘텐츠 품질은 영향을 주었지만 명성은 회귀되지 않았다. 구매자(학부모)집단은 명성과 인지된 유용성에 영향을 받은 반면, 콘텐츠품질이나 상호작용성에는 영향을 받지 않았다.

한식레스토랑에서의 환경단서와 체험요인이 브랜드태도에 미치는 영향: 브랜드명성의 조절역할을 중심으로 (The Effects of Environmental Evidence and Experiences on Brand Attitude: Focused on a Moderator Role of Brand Reputation in Korean Restaurant)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 한식당에서 환경단서와 체험요인이 브랜드태도에 영향을 미치는지와 이러한 관계에서 브랜드명성이 조절변수 역할을 하는지를 파악하는데 있었다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 한국의 한식당 중에서 매출액을 기준으로 하여 상위 20위 안에 드는 H와 B 외식업체를 방문했던 고객들을 대상으로 설문지를 배포하여 자료를 수집하였다. 총 353부의 설문지가 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하여 통계분석 되었으며, 다음과 같은 주요한 4가지 사항이 발견되었다. 첫째, 환경단서 중 공간성, 심미성, 청결성, 쾌적성이 브랜드태도에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 체험유형에 속하는 행동, 관계, 인지, 감성 모두가 브랜드태도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 브랜드명성은 환경단서 중 심미성차원과 브랜드태도 간에만 조절역할을 한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 브랜드명성은 체험 중 행동과 브랜드태도 간에만 조절역할을 한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과들을 바탕으로 한식당 마케터들은 환경단서와 체험을 강화시키고, 마케팅 기법을 활용하여 브랜드명성을 강화시켜야 한다.

의료서비스에 대한 환자신뢰가 관계몰입에 미치는 영향 (The effects of Patient Trust on Relationship Commitment in Healthcare Settings)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of provider and consumer characteristics, and patient trust on relational commitment among healthcare customers of an university hospital, and to suggest some implications for improving customer relation management of hospitals. Data were collected from 250 patients of an university hospital located in Ulsan using structured self-administered questionnaire. Major result of the analysis is as follows: First, study variables are significantly varied by age and income among socio-economic factors. Second, assurance, and empathy among provider characteristics and customer satisfaction and reputation among consumer characteristics are found to be significant affecting factors on patient trust. Third, trust affects significantly both on re-visit and recommendation among relationship commitment, while reputation affects on re-visit and customer satisfaction and reputation affect on recommendation. Above results imply that relationship management strategy for enhancing patient trust is crucial to improve competitiveness of hospitals in turbulent competition environment.

Effect of Local Cosmetic Brand's Global Images on Domestic Consumers' Purchasing Decision

  • This research was carried out by setting hypotheses on recognition of the global image of the research subject, a domestic cosmetic brand and consequent quality of the brand, reputation of the brand, purchasing decision, influence of images of expanded countries and their correlations to investigate what effect the global images of local brands practically have on domestic consumers' purchasing decision. The analysis results show that overseas expansion of the research subject brand has positive influence on the brand possessing global images. However, it can be seen that the quality of the brand has much larger influence on the reputation of the brand than the images of global brand. In addition, the images of the expanded countries have influence on purchasing decisions but the global images based on the expanded countries did not have much influence on purchasing decisions. Therefore, it can be seen that global images based on high levels of brand reputation and quality are requirements of a most competitive brand than images of the expanded countries in forecasting likelihood of purchase.

  • This paper aimed to exam core factors of the relationship factors and analyze their effects on structural bonds and social bonds. And this paper analysis structural bonds and social bonds effects on relationship commitment. To accomplish this purpose, this study examined previous studies and summarized core factors of the relationship making. The result of this study are as follow: First, we examined that 6 factors-tech-shared, product characteristic, transaction specific asset, reputation, trust, communication-were relationship factors of buyer-seller industrial market. Second, it is shown that tech-shared, product characteristic, transaction specific asset factors have a positi-ve influence on the structural bonding. Third, it is shown that reputation, trust, communication factors have a positive influence on the social bonding. Fourth, it is shown that structural bonding, social bonding have a positive influence on the relationship commitment.
