The world's largest twin skeg VLBC developed at Samsung shipyard for BHP, Austrailian owner, has been proven as a successful vessel through 1 year's operation record in view of the superior propulsion performances, maneouverability in extremely shallow water and all ship's systems, especially, ship's vibration. The principal technical matter during the design development from the initial design stage to the sea trial has been summarized on this report.

Focal eosinophilic myositis (FEM) is the most limited form of eosinophilic myositis that commonly affects the muscles of the lower leg without systemic manifestations. We report a patient with FEM who was studied by magnetic resonance imaging and muscle biopsy with a review of the literature.

Three empirical criteria of rock failure are analyzed in order to understand the meaning of coefficients. Transformation of equations is discussed to apply in the numerical analysis. New failure criterion for intact rocks is proposed in this study, which can be used directly in programming. New equation has the form of parabolic curve($\alpha$=0.5~1.0), and is based on Mohr's shear failure using data from triaxial tests. Its validity will be discussed in the next report.

Supravalvular aortic stenosis was relatively uncommon form of congenital heart disease. This patient had typical "elfin faces" with mental retardation, and supravalvular aortic stenosis. The diagnosis was confirmed by pressure tracing obtained at retrograde left heart catheterization and aortography. The type of supravalvular aortic stenosis was localized hourglass narrowing, which was treated by insertion of prosthetic gusset placed across the area of narrowing under the cardiopulmonary bypass.ry bypass.

During a week from 6th August in 1976 to survey the fungal flora on higher fleshy fungi around Mt. Jogye 193 specimens were collected and then examined tentatively. As a result fo identification except several troublesome ones it was known that they lie within 66 genera, 110 species, 3 varieties, and 2 forms. Out of them five genera, Eutypa, Sarcosoma in Ascomycetes, and Corticium, Heimiella, Clitopilus in Basidiomycetes were confirmed as unrecorded genera to Korea. And therefrom 26 species and 1 form corresponding almost to the fourth of sum were identified as unrecorded species to Korea, among which Basidiomycetes are provided with descriptions and figures in this survey report.

The renewed interest in the utilization of solar energy has revealed the need for reliable data concerning the irradiation of surfaces inclined at various angles, This report outlines the mantel in which these data were developed, presents the data in tabulated form and contains illustrative examples of how the data may be applied in the solution of solar energy utilization problems. The calculations performed and the data presented apply to latitudes 34 deg through 38 dog in South Korea.

Tuberculous epididymo-orchitis, a rare form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis, results from hematogenous dissemination or retrograde extension from the lower urinary tract. Herein, we studied the case of a 22-year-old male patient who presented with refractory left scrotal pain and inflammation. The patient also complained of multifocal pain involving the right buttock, posterior thigh, and right wrist, without trauma history. The patient was diagnosed with multifocal tuberculosis by sputum AFB study and right sacroiliac joint biopsy.

The authors present a case of giant serpentine aneurysm (a partially thrombosed aneurysm containing tortuous vascular channels with a separate entrance and outflow pathway). Giant serpentine aneurysms form a subgroup of giant intracranial aneurysms, distinct from saccular and fusiform varieties, and in this case, too, the clinical presentation and radiographic features of CT, MR imaging and angiography were distinct.

Objective : The aim of this study was to evaluate the reliability and validity of the Pediatric Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy Questionnaire Brain Tumor Survivor (version 2.0) Aged 13 years and older (Parent Form) (pedsFACT-BrS parent of adolescent). Methods : The pedsFACT-BrS parent of adolescent was translated and cross-culturally adapted into Korean, following standard Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy (FACIT) methodology. The psychometric properties of the pedsFACT-BrS parent of adolescent were evaluated in 170 brain tumor patient's mothers (mean age=43.38 years). Pretesting was performed in 30 mothers, and the results indicated good symptom coverage and overall comprehensibility. The participants also completed the Child Health Questionnaire Parent Form 50 (CHQ-PF-50), Neuroticism in Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, and Karnofsky score. Results : In validating the pedsFACT-BrS parent of adolescent, we found high internal consistency, with Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficients ranging from 0.76 to 0.94. The assessment of test-retest reliability using intraclass correlation coefficient revealed satisfactory values with ICCs ranging from 0.84 to 0.93. The pedsFACT-BrS for parent of adolescent also demonstrated good convergent and divergent validities when correlated with the Child Health Questionnaire Parent Form 50 (CHQ-PF-50) and the Neuroticism in Eysenck Personality Questionnaire. The pedsFACT-BrS parent of adolescent showed good clinical validity, and effectively differentiated between clinically distinct patient groups according to the type of treatment, tumor location, shunt, and Karnofsky score of parent proxy report. Conclusion : We confirmed that this reliable and valid instrument can be used to properly evaluate the quality of life of Korean adolescent brain tumor patients by their parents' proxy report.
