검사어 및 성별.연령에 따른 음절 최대 반복 속도에 대한 연구 (A Study of Syllable Maximum Repetition Rate for Stimuli, Age and Sex)

  • Background and Objectives : Syllable Maximum Repetition Rate(MRR) is ability to repeat rapidly the articulators and is assessed for oromechanism function as one of the MPT. MRR is measured by rate(counts/sec), also simultaneously considered accuracy and consistency. The objective of the present was to examine stimuli effects and age and sex differences for MRR. Materials and Method : This study was participated 60 normal males and females(1 : 1) who were divided into two groups young(<40 years old) and old($\geq$40 years old). Stimuli were $/{P^=}a/,/{t^=}a/,/{k^=}a/,/{P^h}a/,/{t^h}a/,/{k^h}a/,/{P^=}{at^=}{ak^=}a/$ for, manner(tense and aspirated) of articulation, $/{p^h}{at^h}{ak^h}a/,/{t^h}{ap^h}{ak^h}a/$ for the effect of the order of syllable, glide /u-i/ for coordination of lip and tongue, interrupted vowel /i/ for laryngeal function. Results : There were little differences in two age groups and sex and manner of articulation for MRR tasks. The fastest average MRR of the single syllable included in this study was $/{t^=}a/$. significant differences existed between MRR for ${p^h}{at^h}{ak^h}a/ and /{t^h}{ap^h}{ak^h}a/$, which suggested that MRR was affected by the order of the syllables. MRR for interrupted vowel /i/ was about 2 counts/sec slower than average rate of 1 syllables. Conclusion : From these results, the order of the syllables was a crucial variable in MRR. rather than age or sex. There were no difference age, sex and manner of rate. The interrupted vowel repetition rate was slightly slow used and can provide basic information to assess the speech mechanism and can be useful to develop effective stimuli to differentiate the disordered group from normal.

PPM-기반의 UWB 시스템에 대한 PRF와 슬롯 시간의 영향 (The Effects of PRF and Slot Interval on the PPM-Based Ultra Wide-Band Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 다중경로 채널 환경에서 펄스 반복 빈도 (pulse repetition frequency, PRF)와 슬롯 시간이 UWB (ultra wide band) 무선 통신 시스템의 데이터 전송율 (throughput) 성능에 미치는 영향을 조사하고 이를 기반하여 유효 데이터 전송율이 최대화되도록 하는 PRF와 슬롯 시간을 이용한 전송율 제어를 제안한다. 최근에 UWB 시스템이 갖고 있는 장점으로 인하여 근거리 고속 무선 데이터 전송과 관련하여 관심이 고조되고 있다. UWB 시스템에서는 데이터 전송율을 결정짓는 파라미터로는 펄스를 반복하는 펄스 반복 회수와 펄스간의 간격을 결정짓는 슬롯 시간을 들 수 있다. AWGN이 존재하는 다중경로 채널 하에 있는 UWB 시스템은 펄스간의 간섭(inter-pulse interference, IPI)과 잡음에 의하여 시스템 성능이 저하된다. UWB 시스템은 이 두 파라미터의 조정을 통하여 시스템의 성능을 유지 또는 개선할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 두 파라미터의 변화가 다양한 채널 환경에서 데이터 전송율에 미치는 영향을 모의실험을 통하여 관측하고 이를 기반하여 설계된 가변 전송율을 사용하는 것이 비가변적인 방법에 비하여 유효 데이터 전송율 측면에서 우수함을 모의실험을 통하여 검증하였다.

은행잎의 염색성 및 자외선 차단 효과 (Dyeability and UV-blocking Effect of Dyed Fabrics with Ginkgo Extract)

  • Ginkgo leaves, which have been known as medical materials, were selected as new natural dyes in this study, in which it was examined whether they have the function of UV-blocker or not. Cotton, linen & Hanji(Korean traditional paper) were dyed with Ginkgo. Al, Cr, Cu, Fe and Sn were selected as mordants. UV-blocking rate of dyed samples was measured after dyeing and mordant treatment. The results of this study are as follows. First, most surface color of dyed samples was yellow except that Hanji mordanted with Cu was yellowish red. Second, dyeing repetition had positive correlations with K/S values of cotton ($r=.\;758^{**}$), linen ($r=.\;500^*$) and Hanji ($r=.\;819^{**}$), because K/S values were increased according to dyeing repetition. Third, solar UV-blocking rates had positive correlations with dyeing repetitions (p<0.01), because UV-blocking rates had increased according to dyeing repetition. Fourth, UV-blocking ability of Hanji was highest among samples, as UV-blocking rates of cotton and linen dyed after 3 dyeing repetition were up to 93%, Hanji's values were up to 98%. Therefore, it was proven that Ginkgo extracts used in this experiment as dyestuff have excellent dyeing ability and high UV-blocking ability. It is hoped that this work will lead to further research to confirm the physiological effects when human wear the clothes made from Hanji.

Effect of Electrolyte Filtration Accuracy on Electrochemical Machining Quality for Titanium Alloy

  • Electrochemical machining (ECM) is an effective manufacturing method for difficult-to-machine materials and is widely used in the precision manufacturing of aerospace components. In recent years, the requirements for the machining accuracy and surface integrity of ECM have become increasingly stringent. To further improve the machining quality, this work investigated the intricate laws between electrolyte filtration accuracy and machining quality. Electrolytes with different filtration accuracies were compared, and a numerical simulation was used to evaluate the change in temperature and bubble rate of the flow field in the machining area. Experiments were conducted on ECM of Ti-6Al-4V (TC4) alloy workpieces using electrolytes with different filtration accuracy. The workpiece machining accuracy and surface quality were analyzed, and the repetition accuracy of the workpiece was evaluated. The intricate laws between electrolyte filtration accuracy and machining quality were explored. It was found that when the electrolyte filtration accuracy is improved, so too is the machining quality of the ECM. However, once the filtration accuracy has reached a certain value, the machining quality has extremely limited improvement. By evaluating the repetition accuracy of processed workpieces in electrolytes with different filtration accuracies, it was found that when the filtration accuracy reaches a certain value, there is no positive correlation between the repetition accuracy and filtration accuracy. The result shows that, for the workpiece material and conditions considered in this paper, an electrolyte with 0.5㎛ filtration accuracy is suitable for the wide application of precision ECM.

각종 치과레이저의 Streptococcus mutans에 대한 증식 및 기능억제 효과 (INHIBITORY EFFECT OF DENTAL LASERS ON THE GROWTH AND THE FUNCTION OF STREPTOCOCCUS MUTANS)

  • 레이저의 구강내 산 생성 세균인 S. mutans에 대한 증식 및 기능 억제효과를 평가하기 위하여 S. mutans KCTC 3065가 포함된 세균 pellet에 Er:YAG 레이저와 Nd:YAG 레이저를 비접촉식 방법으로, 조사세기 50mJ, 조사시간 5초, 그리고 pulse repetition rate를 각각 10Hz와 30Hz로 하여 조사하고 세균 군락수, 산 생성능, 불용성 세포외다당류의 합성량을 측정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. Chinese ink로 photosensitization을 시행한 후 Nd:YAG 레이저를 조사한 경우가 S. mutans의 증식을 가장 많이 억제하였으며 Er:YAG 레이저 조사도 증식을 억제하였다. 그러나 Chinese ink를 사용하지 않고 Nd:YAG 레이저를 단독으로 조사한 경우는 S. mutans의 증식을 억제하지 못하였다. 레이저 조사조건 중 pulse repetition rate는 전반적으로 세균 증식 억제에 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 2. Chinese ink로 photosensitization을 시행한 후 Nd:YAG 레이저를 조사한 경우가 일정기간 동안 S. mutans의 산생성능을 가장 많이 억제하였으며 Er:YAG 레이저 조사도 산 생성능을 억제하였다. Chinese ink를 사용하지 않고 Nd:YAG 레이저를 단독으로 조사한 경우는 S. mutans의 산생성능을 억제하지 못하였다 Er:YAG 레이저와 Chinese ink로 photosensitization을 시행한 후 Nd:YAG 레이저를 조사한 경우는 pulse repetition rate가 클수록 전반적으로 세균의 산생성능을 더 많이 억제하였다. 3. 레이저 조사는 S. mutans의 불용성 세포외다당류의 합성에 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 이상의 결과로 보아 Er:YAG 레이저와 Chinese ink로 photosensitization을 시행한 후의 Nd:YAG 레이저 조사는 일정시간 동안 S. mutans의 증식과 산 생성능을 억제시키므로써 치아우식증 예방효과를 얻을 수 있다고 사료되나 억제효과가 오래가지 않아 임상적으로 효과를 얻기 위해서는 자주 조사를 해주어야 한다는 문제점을 안고 있어 임상적으로 치아우식증 예방이란 단독 목적으로 사용하기에는 실용성이 크지 않다고 사료된다.

참개구리(Rana nigromaculata)의 짝짓기 소리의 구조와 변이 (Mating Call Structure and Variation of the Frog Rana nigromaculata)

  • The structure and variation of the mating call in Rana nigromaculata was studied in a population at Da-rak, Chong-won, Chung-buk (36$\circ$ 37' latitude, 127$\circ$ 21' longitude) in Korea. The mating call consists of 3 to 8 pulse groups divided by clear silent intervals. Each pulse group is also composed of fine pulses. Temperature and body size affect the temporal and spectral characteristics of the mating call. Pulse, pulse group repetition rate and dominant frequency rise with increasing temperature, whereas pulse grouprepetition rate and dominant frequency decrease with increasing body size. A playback experiment was designed to establish the effect of a potential intruder on male calling. During the stimulus periods, resident males markedly decreased the pulse repetition rate, and icreased the rate of pulse groups, dominant frequency, and the number of call groups. This results indicate that this species responds in a graded fashion when interacting with other individuals.

레이저를 이용한 하지정맥류 치료의 정량화 연구 (Quantitative Evaluation on Laser Performance for Endovenous Photocoagulation)

  • The purpose of the study was to identify the effect of laser parameters on photocoagulation to maximize safety and efficacy during varicose vein treatment. CW and pulsed modes at 1470 nm were initially compared as a function of power on bovine liver tissue. In the pulsed mode, various parameters including repetition rate, duty cycle, and irradiation time were compared to evaluate tissue response during thermal treatment. The results demonstrated that CW and pulsed modes yielded almost similar coagulation development possibly due to shorter irradiation time of 5 sec. Regardless of laser mode, both repetition rate and duty cycle presented constant coagulation rate whereas longer irradiation time facilitated coagulation process.

보호자역할증진 프로그램이 입원아동 보호자의 불확실성, 스트레스 및 돌보기 수행에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Caregiver's Role Improvement Program on the Uncertainty, Stress, and Role Performance of Caregivers with Hospitalized Children)

  • Purpose: In this study a caregiver's role improvement program was developed and tested to identify the effect on uncertainty, stress, and role performance of caregivers with hospitalized children. Methods: The design of this study was a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group and a non-synchronized design. Thirty-three caregivers were assigned to the experimental group and 33 to the control group. Data were collected from March 5 2016 to April 10 2016. For the experimental treatment, each individual was given on-site education with situated learning (given 30 minutes each, for 2 sessions), and self-repetition learning activities were performed from the e-book. Data were analyzed using t-test, ${\chi}^2-test$, Fisher's exact test, paired t-test, and independent t-test. Results: The level of uncertainty and stress decreased, and role performance level improved for these caregivers with hospitalized children. Conclusion: The findings of this study show that using on-site education through situated learning and self-repetition learning with an e-book as in the caregiver's role improvement program is an effective intervention. Therefore, utilizing the caregiver role improvement program developed in this study is recommended as an effective intervention for caregivers of hospitalized children.

반복강우에 의한 풍화토층 절토사면 침투특성에 관한 연구 (Infiltration Characteristics of a Weathered Cut-Slope during Repetition Rainfall)

  • 강우는 사면 붕괴에 영향을 미치고 있는 요인 중의 하나이다. 최근 기후변화에 집중강우가 빈번하게 발생하고 있으며, 단시간에 많은 양의 강우강도와 반복적인 강우특성을 가지고 있다. 강우가 발생하게 되면 강우의 대부분은 사면 법면을 따라 유출되지만, 일부는 지반 내로 침투하게 되며, 침투수는 주로 얕은 파괴를 유발시키는 것으로 알려져 있다. 하지만, 본 연구에서는 우기 시 빈번하게 발생하는 반복적인 게릴라성 강우로 인한 침투가 사면 안정성에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는지 다양한 조건에서 유한요소해석법을 이용하여 침투특성을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 강우 주기가 짧고 반복횟수가 많을수록 사면 내부에 침투의 영향이 크게 작용하며, 짧은 시간의 강우에도 침투 영향을 고려할 필요가 있는 등 사면 관리자의 침투에 대한 주의 깊은 관심이 필요하다.
