리니어모터를 이용한 초정밀 공기정압안내면 개발 (Development of a Aerostatic Guideway Driven by the Linear Motor)

  • In order to discuss the availability of aerostatic guideways driven by the coreless linear motor to ultra precision machine tools, a prototype of guideway is designed and tested in this research. A coreless linear DC motor with the continuous force of 156N and a laser scale with the resolution of $0.01\mu\textrm{m}$ are used as the feeding system. The experiments are performed on the static stiffness, motion accuracy, positioning accuracy, microstep response and variation of velocity. The guideway also has $0.21\mu\textrm{m}$ of positioning error and $0.09\mu\textrm{m}$ of repeatability, and it shows the stable response against the $0.01\mu\textrm{m}$ resolution step command. The velocity variation of feeding system is less than 0.6%. From these results, it is confirmed that the aerostatic guideway driven by the coreless linear motion is very useful for the ultra precision machine tools.

근적외분광분석법을 사용한 암브록솔 정제의 비파괴적 정량분석 (Nondestructive Quantification of Intact Ambroxol Tablet using Near-infrared Spectroscopy)

  • Near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy was used to determine rapidly and nondestructively the content of ambroxol in intact ambroxol tablets containing 30 mg (12.5% m/m nominal concentration) by collecting NIR spectra in range 1100-1750 nm. The laboratory-made samples had 10.3∼15.9% m/m nominal ambroxol concentration. The measurements were made by reflection using a fiber-optic probe and calibration was carried out by partial least square regression (PLSR) with autoscaling. Model validation was performed by randomly splitting the data set into calibration and validation data set (7 samples as a calibration data set and 5 samples as a validation data set). The developed NIR method gave results comparable to the known values of tablets in a laboratorial manufacturing Process, standard error of calibration (SEC) and standard error of prediction (SEP) being 0.49% and 0.49% m/m respectively. The method showed good accuracy and repeatability NIR spectroscopic determination in intact tablets allowed the potential use of real time monitoring for a running production process.

쾌속조형과 진공주형 및 세라믹 몰드를 이용한 금속 주조 시제품 제작 공정에서의 형상정밀도 변화 (Variations of Form Accuracy in the Process of Metal Cast Prototyping using Rapid prototype, Vacuum casting and Ceramic Mold)

  • In metal casting process, it is very difficult to predict the form accuracy of cast part and reduce repeatability error. In this study, the variations of form accuracy were measured in the process of metal cast prototyping, where RP part is manufactured from CAD model in the first, and then, wax part is cast in the vacuum environment using the RP part as master model, and finally metal prototype is cast using ceramic mold and the wax part as pattern. To investigate the variations of form accuracy, the averages and standard deviations of error distribution of the parts measured by 3D scanner were compared. It was observed that the biggest shrinkage is generated during the extraction of wax part in the second step and the biggest deterioration of form accuracy is generated during the metal part casting in the last step.

자동굴절검사기의 신뢰성 평가 및 Fourier analysis에 의한 정확도 분석 (Repeatability Assessment of Autorefractor and Accuracy Analysis of Refraction Measurements by Fourier Analysis)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 자동굴절검사기를 사용하여 측정한 값을 자각적굴절검사값과 비교하여 그 정확도와 신뢰성을 분석하고자 하였다. 방법: 99명 198안을 대상으로 조절마비제를 투여하지 않고 굴절검사를 실시하였으며, 자각적굴 절검사와 자동굴절검사기로 측정된 각각의 굴절력을 분석하여 신뢰도와 정확도를 평가하였다. 또한 Fourier analysis 를 사용하여 자동굴절검사기의 정확도를 분석하였다. 결과: 자동굴절검사기의 신뢰도 계수는 우안의 경우 구면굴절력에서 0.993, 난시굴절력은 0.974, 난시축은 0.925로 나타났으며, 좌안은 구면굴절력의 신뢰도 계수가 0.991, 난시 굴절력은 0.948, 난시축은 0.886으로 나타났다. Fourier analysis에 의해 자각적굴절검사와 비교하여 $J_{0}$ component에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없었으며(p>0.05), 자각적굴절검사와 비교하여 $J_{45}$component의 굴절력 차이 값은 -0.019와 -0.164로 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구에서 사용된 자동굴절검사기는 큰 오차 값을 가지지 않고 굴절력을 측정하는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

로봇 자동화 바늘삽입형 중재시술을 위한 자동화 생검장치의 바늘삽입 특성: 바늘삽입 깊이 및 삽입정확도 (Characteristics of Needle Insertion Performance of Automated Biopsy Device for Robotic Needle Insertion Type Intervention: Insertion Depth and Accuracy)

  • This paper presents the characteristics related to needle insertion of a robotic device for the automated biopsy procedure. The automated biopsy device, a main component of the robotic needle insertion type intervention system, allows performance of the full biopsy procedure, except for anesthesia, without direct handling of a radiologist or a tele-operated control. In this study, the needle length parameters corresponding to various insertion depths and precision for needle insertion of the automated biopsy device, are discussed. There were two combinations of needle length parameters for appropriate needle insertion and motion capture-based measurement was performed; 0.156 mm error for the 90 mm length commanded insertion displacement was measured. The pre-defined goal is a maximum 1 mm error and thus our measured error is within the acceptable range. In the repeatability check, it was also shown that the device can implement a highly accurate insertion.

로봇의 3차원 작업을 위한 효율적 센서위치의 결정기법 : 스테레오 카메라를 중심으로 (A Technique to Efficiently Place Sensors for Three-Dimensional Robotic Manipulation : For the Case of Stereo Cameras)

  • 본 논문에서는 로봇의 3차원 작업을 위한 센서로 사용된 스테레오 카메라의 위치 결정 문제를 다룬다. 공통의 기준선상에 평행한 시선을 가지도록 설치된 스테레오 카메라의 모델이 주어진 후, 보정에 사용된 제어점들의 불확실성에 둔감하고 로봇의 반복정밀도를 고려한 오차 조건을 만족시킬 수 있도록 센서의 계측거리가 결정된다. 두 카메라간의 간격은 3차원 위치 오차와 스테레오 영상좌표 오차와의 관계를 고려하여 이들이 최소화될 수 있도록 결정하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 기존의 기법들과는 달리 3차원의 문제를 피계측체의 모델링 과정이나 복잡한 제한조건 없이 접근함으로써 일반적이며, 모의실험을 통하여 유용함을 확인할 수 있었다.

재활로봇용 3축 힘/토크센서 설계 (Design of Three-Axis Force/Torque Sensor for Rehabilitation Robot)

  • In this study, we described the design of a three-axis force/torque sensor for measuring the force and torque in a lower-limb rehabilitation robot. The three-axis force/torque sensor is composed of Fx force sensor, Fz force sensor and Tz torque sensor. The sensing element for Fx force sensor and Tz torque sensor is used in a two-step parallel plate beam, and that of Fz force sensor is used in a parallel plate beam. The rated loads of Fx force sensor, Tz torque sensor and Fz force sensor are 300 N, 15 N m and 100 N, respectively. The three-axis force/torque sensor was designed using the finite element method, and manufactured using strain-gauges. The three-axis force sensor was further characterized. As a result, the interference error of the three-axis force/torque sensor was < 1.24%, the repeatability error of each sensor was < 0.03%, and the non-linearity was < 0.02%.

Measurement of the Volumetric Thermal Errors for CNC Machining Center Using the Star-type-styluses Tough Probe

  • One of the major limitations of productivity and quality in metal cutting is the machining accuracy of machine tools. The machining accuracy is affected by geometric errors, thermally-induced errors, and the deterioration of the machine tools. Geometric and thermal errors of machine tools should be measured and compensated to manufacture high quality products. In metal cutting, the machining accuracy is more affected by thermal errors than by geometric errors. This paper models the thermal errors for error analysis and develops an on-the-machine measurement system by which the volumetric errors are measured and compensated. The thermal error is modeled by means of angularity errors of a column and thermal drift error of the spindle unit which are measured by the touch probe unit with a star type styluses and a designed spherical ball artifact (SBA). Experiments show that the developed system provides a high measuring accuracy, with repeatability of $\pm$2$\mu\textrm{m}$ in X, Y and Z directions. It is believed that the developed measurement system can be also applied to the machine tools with CNC controller. In addition, machining accuracy and product quality can be also improved by using the developed measurement system when the spherical ball artifact is mounted on a modular fixture.

상지재활로봇의 팔힘측정용 2축 힘센서 설계 (Design of a Two-Axis Force Sensor for Measuring Arm Force of an Upper-Limb Rehabilitation Robot)

  • This paper describes the design of a two-axis force sensor with two step plate beams for measuring forces in an upper-limb rehabilitation robot. The two-axis force sensor is composed of a Fz force sensor and a Ty torque sensor. The Fz force sensor measures the force applied to a patient's arm pushed by a rehabilitation robot and the force of patient's arm. The Ty torque sensor measures the torque generated by a patient's arm motion in an emergency. The structure of sensor is composed of a force transmitting block, two step plate beams and two fixture blocks. The two-axis force sensor was designed using FEM (Finite Element Method), and manufactured using strain-gages. The characteristics test of the two-axis force sensor was carried out. as a test results, the interference error of the two-axis force sensor was less than 1.24%, the repeatability error of each sensor was less than 0.03%, and the non-linearity was less than 0.02%.

지문인식센서 품질평가를 위한 검사부 프로브의 소재 적합성과 구조 최적화 연구 (Materials Compatibility and Structure Optimization of Test Department Probe for Quality Test of Fingerprint Sensor)

  • 최근 정보 보호가 이슈화됨에 따라 지문인식센서의 활용이 점차 증가하고 있으며, 센서 인식률 오차를 최소화 할 수 있는 품질평가를 요구한다. 지문인식센서 전극과 검사부 프로브 팁이 접촉 시 발생하는 저항 값의 변화에 의해 센서의 품질이 평가되며, 품질평가의 재현성을 확보하기 위해서는 센서 전극의 변형 유발을 최소화할 수 있는 프로브 소재의 적합성과 구조 최적화 연구가 필요하다. 프로브 팁의 적합성 평가를 위한 소재로 니켈(Ni), 스틸(SK4), 베릴륨동(Beryllium copper), 인청동(Phosphor bronze)을 비교하였으며, 프로브 팁 접촉 후 전극의 압흔 크기와 접촉저항을 고려할 때 베릴륨동이 프로브 소재로 적합하다. 검사부 프로브는 지문인식센서 전극의 물리적 손상 방지와 다수의 지문인식센서 동시 검사가 가능한 구조를 위해 일체형 프로브 방식으로 제작하였다. 검사부의 재현성은 특정 전류 값을 인가하여 지문인식센서의 전압 변화로 판단하였으며, 베릴륨동 프로브 소재와 일체형 구조를 통해 센서 전극에 프로브가 300회 접촉하는 동안 센서의 전압 변화는 ${\pm}0.003V$ 이내의 우수한 재현성을 확인하였다.
