청소년 고혈압 관련 유전자의 연관성 분석: Kangwha Study (Association Analysis of the Essential Hypertension Susceptibility Genes in Adolescents: Kangwha Study)

  • Objectives : In this study we examined the association between the genetic markers ACE (A-240T, C-93T, I/D, A2350G), AGT (M235T), AT1R (A1166C), CYP11B2 (T344C, V386A), REN (G2646A), ADRB2 (G46A, C79G, T47C, T1641), GNB3 (C825T) and ADD1 (G460W) and the presence of essential hypertension in adolescents. Methods : The Kangwha Study is an 18-year prospective study that is aimed at elucidating the determinants of the blood pressure level from childhood to early adulthood. For this study, we constructed a case-control dataset of size of 277 and 40 family trios data from the Kangwha Study. For this purpose, we perform a single locus-based case-control association study and a single locus-based TDT (transmission/disequilibrium test) study. Results : In the case-control study, the single locus-based association study indicated that the ADD1 (G460W) (p=0.0403), AGT (M235T) (p=0.0002), and REN (G2646A) (p=0.0101) markers were significantly associated with the risk of hypertension. These results were not confirmed on the TDT study. This study showed that genetic polymorphisms of the ADD1, AGT and REN genes might be related to the hypertension in Korean adolescents. Conclusions : This study provided useful information on genetics markers related to blood pressure. Further study will be needed to confirm the effect of the alpha adducin gene, the angiotensinogen gene and the renin gene on essential hypertension.

실존적 불안, 사이존재로서 실존의 사이기분에 대한 철학적 분석 : 키에르케고어를 중심으로 (A Philosophical Analysis on an Existential Anxiety, Between-Mood of Existence as Between-Being: Focus on S. Kierkegaard)

  • 이 글에서 논자는 오늘날 불안의 실존적 현상들을 살펴봄으로써 불안의 진단과 치료에 있어서 철학적 근거를 드러내보고자 한다. 특히 불안의 근원을 심리적 차원과 더불어 윤리적 차원을 통해 살펴봄으로써 심리적 현상으로서 불안의 철학적 근거를 강조하고자 한다. 이를 위해 가능성과 현실성 '사이존재(Zwischesein)'로서 실존 그리고 존재의 분열과 봉합 사이의 순간이 수반하는 '사이기분(Zwischenstmmung)'으로서 불안을 드러낸다. 불안의 근거로서 실존이 지닌 '사이성(Zwischeheit)'에 대한 주목은 키에르케고어($S{\ddot{o}}ren$ Kierkegaard)에 의해 '종합' 개념 속에서 나타지만 '두 개 사이의 관계'로서 그의 종합 개념은 오히려 종합이라는 용어로 인하여 충분히 주목되지 못했다. 논자는 사이성에 대한 조명을 통하여 실존 개념이 지니는 보다 심층적 조건을 포착해본다. 그리하여 논자는 분열된 양자 사이의 종합이라는 결과보다는 그 양자 사이의 긴장이라는 과정에 주목해본다. 이 를 위해 실존철학의 선구자인 키에르케고어의 "불안의 개념"을 분석한다.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to verify the structural relationships among work-family balance, resilience, job satisfaction, parenting self-efficacy and happiness of double income couples with 3~5 years child(ren). Method: This study distributed structured self-reported questionnaires and used the data of 229 couples with 3~5 years child(ren) for an analysis. A confirmatory factor analysis was conducted for checking the measurement unity and a structural equation model was performed to reveal the structural relationship using AMOS software. Results: In a structural relationships among work-family balance, resilience, job satisfaction, parenting self-efficacy and happiness, a total of 13 paths appeared significant. The influence of the husband on the wife was more significant than that of the wife on the husband, and resilience was found to have a strong influence on the happiness of wife and husband. The work-family balance was different for wife and husband. Conclusion: These results suggest that it is necessary to develop various programs and approaches for the development of resilience to promote their happiness. As a policy direction in the future, with a goal of a shift to the paradigm, 'raising children together,' an institutional support should be prepared for the concretization of the formation and practice of the value of co-parenting children.

  • In insurance statistics, the sum of homogeneous insurance is often needed. The sum is called individual risk model which is a fundamental model in risk analysis for insurance. This paper first presents an individual risk model based on the uncertainty theory. Then its uncertainty distribution is provided. Finally, its arithmetic is shown by a numerical example.

  • Lamp mura has become a challenge for slim LCD-TV backlight design. The aim of this paper is to apply a novel diffuser plate to improve lamp mura issue instead of increasing lamps or optical films. The results are positive and contribute to the design of slimmer TV without cost up.
