전기차와 충전기 간 HPGP 기반 통신 신뢰성 테스트 방안 (Test Method of Communication Reliability based on HPGP between PEV and EVSE)

  • 스마트 그리드(Smart Grid)는 기존의 전력망에 정보 통신 기술을 접목하여 양방향으로 정보를 교환함으로써 에너지 효율을 최적화하는 차세대 지능형 전력망이다. 스마트 그리드 구현을 위한 HPGP 통신 규격은 신흥 스마트 에너지, 홈 자동화, 전기 자동차 통신 어플리케이션 구동을 위해 개발되었다. HPGP 통신 규격은 이전 규격인 HPAV과 상호 운용이 가능하며 저비용, 저전력의 장점이 있다. 새로운 통신 규격의 도입을 위해서는 신뢰성 및 상호 운용성 검증을 위한 분석이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 스마트 그리드의 중요한 응용프로그램 중 하나인 전기차와 충전기간 전력선 통신에 대한 신뢰성 테스트 방안으로써 스니퍼 테스트 방법을 제안한다. 또한, 전기차와 충전기 간 HPGP 기반 전력선 통신 환경에서 QCA7000 Device, AVitar, Tool Kit을 이용한 스니퍼 테스트 결과를 분석하였다.

표준편차의 변동을 고려한 신뢰성 최적설계 (Reliability Based Design Optimization with Variation of Standard Deviation)

  • 확정론적 최적설계에서는 설계변수의 변동이나 불확실성 등을 최적화 과정에서 고려하지 않는다. 신뢰성 최적설계는 설계변수의 임의성을 체계적인 확률 및 통계이론을 적용하여 생산품의 안정성을 보다 정밀하고 합리적으로 다룬다. 본 논문에서 설계변수를 확률변수로 취급하여 실제 제작시의 제작오차를 고려한 표준편차를 주었으며, 설계변수의 평균에 대한 표준편차를 기존의 고정된 값을 사용하지 앉고 평균과 표준편차의 관계가 오목함수로 나타나도록 하였다 즉, 설계변수의 평균이 달라짐에 따라 표준편차도 변동계수만큼 변하도록 하였다. 신뢰성해석은 불변 2차 모멘트 방법을 이용하고 신뢰성을 구하는 방법은 신뢰도 지수 접근방법의 개선된 일계 2차 모멘트 방법을 이용하여 신뢰성을 구하였다. 두 가지 예제를 통해 확정론적 최적설계, 신뢰성 최적설계와 표준편차의 변동을 고려한 신뢰성 최적설계의 값을 비교하였다.

  • GPS(Global positioning system) system is widely used in artificial satellite, ground controlled approach system as well as in end-user environment such as in the automobile. It is exposed to a very diverse environment and consists of many complicated components and therefore needs careful approach to the enhancement of reliability of the item. In this article reliability standards for the GPS system are established in terms of quality certification tests and failure rate tests.

  • The optimum weight design of structure is to determine the combination of structural members which minimize the weight of structures and satisfy design conditions as well. Since most of loads and design variables considered in structural design have uncertain natures, the reliability-based optimization techniques need to be developed. The aim of this study is to estabilish the general algorithm for the minimum weight design of transmission tower structure system with reliability constraints. The sequential linear programming method is used to solve non-linear minimization problems, which converts original non-linear programming problems to sequential linear programming problems. The optimal solutions are produced for various reliability levels such as reliability levels inherent in current standard transmission tower cross-section and optimal transmission tower cross-section obtained with constraints of current design criteria as well as selected target reliability index. The optimal transmission towers satisfying reliability constraints sustain consistent reliability levels on all members. Consequently, more balanced optimum designs are accomplished with less structural weight than traditional designs dealing with deterministic design criteria.

  • Reliability-based durability model was developed to consider the uncertainty of analysis variables in durability model for harbor concrete structures. The durability analysis program based on Finite Element Method (FEM) was modified adopting the reliability concept to estimate the probability of durability failure. Water-cement ratio in the durability analysis is the most important factor influencing chloride diffusion coefficient, evaporable water, etc. The probability distribution of water-cement ratio was calculated converting standard deviations of compressive strength in Concrete Standard Code to those of water-cement ratio. Based on the Monte Carlo Simulation, the probabilities of penetration depth and durability failure were calculated.

  • Wide range of methodology of reliability prediction for system exists. For railway field, MIL-HDBK-217F, which has not been revised since early in 1990, is used for reliability prediction if historical data is not available. Since this standard has been published, quality and performance of electronic products have been improved rapidly and various kinds of items have been released, however new versions of items could not be released because the prediction standard could not follow up the speed of the production. Thus, this thesis introduces Telcordia SR-332 Issue 2 and would like to compare and analyze the result from MIL-HDBK-217F together with some cases we performed.

  • This paper deals with a procedure of changing the current inspection & replacement periods for ROKAF aircraft parts. ROKAF is mostly operating aircraft of foreign makes, and takes maintenance actions according to Technical Orders(TO.) published by foreign aircraft manufacturers. Therefore ROKAF inspects and replaces specific parts at the time noticed from T.O.. These inspection and replacement periods are determined by manufacturers according to the standard operating environment and parts' durability. But the standard operating environment Is different from operator's environment. Because of this difference, the inspection and replacement periods have to be changed according to operators' operation environment. It is resonable that the manufacturer, having design materials and life test data of parts, changes those periods together with materials of operators' operation environment. But we have many difficulties in obtaining the design materials and life test data. Then this paper proposes a procedure of changing the periods of aircraft's parts with life data obtained during operating aircraft. For the reliability analysis, a software of RELEST (Reliability Estimation Version 1.0) is used.

Train Ethernet Backbone(TEB) 구성에 따른 신뢰도 분석 (Reliability Analysis of Train Ethernet Backbone)

  • As the usage of the electric power train increases, the importance of the control network between the electric control devices grows. IEC proposed a revision of IEC-61375, a standard of the networking among electric devices within a train, to adopt Ethernet as a backbone of train network. This paper performed the reliability analysis of three configurations of Ethernet-based networking within a electric power train that are recommended in IEC-61375 standard. The analysis results show that MTTF(mean time to failure) of the redundant configuration is 20,086 hours, which is a about 3 times longer than the linear configuration.

  • SF_6 gas has been increasingly used as the insulating and arc-suppressing medium in switchgears which are used as the protection devices of power system. Nowadays, with these trends, SF_6 load break switches have rapidly substituted for the air or oil-type load break switches, in order to get higher reliability. And, the national standard was made for reliability assessment of SF_6 gas load break switch and testing facilities was also set in KERI(Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute ). This paper introduces the synopsis for the reliability assessment requirements specified in the standard and the assessment results.

  • It is difficult to change or remedy concrete structure after hardened. It is usual to evaluate the quality of hardened concrete using several test method. This study was performed to make fundamental data that could be used to evaluate the quality of hardened concrete. This study is to estimate mix proportion of hardened concrete. Each elements of concrete needed different estimation methods. First, the cement that handled by the most important compounds measured by XRF(X-ray fluorecence) machine with scanning Ca-K${\alpha}$. Second, the coarse aggregate that divided by maximum size measured by the area comparison method that starts from the assumption of uniform distribution. Third, the fine aggregate measured by the weight comparison method that needs several prerequsite constants which concerned cement hydration reaction. Fourth, the water content would be estimated by expert system that has data base of design data, the contents of above estimation results, the characteristics of concrete strength. As the result of the above research, some conclusions are as follows. The cement estimation method resulted by reliability of mean 96.7%, standard deviation 3.92. The area comparison method resulted by reliability of mean 95.3%, standard deviation 2.08. The weight comparison method resulted by reliability of mean 93.3%, standard deviation 3.35.
