Thermal fatigue is a significant long-term degradation mechanism in nuclear power plants. In particular, as operating plants become older and life time extension activities are initiated, operators and regulators need screening criteria to exclude risks of thermal fatigue and methods to determine significant fatigue relevance. In general, the common thermal fatigue issues are well understood and controlled by plant instrumentation at fatigue susceptible locations. However, incidents indicate that certain piping system Tee connections are susceptible to turbulent temperature mixing effects that cannot be adequately monitored by common thermocouple instrumentations. Therefore, in this study thermal fatigue evaluation of piping system Tee-connections is performed using the fluid-structure interaction (FSI) analysis. From the thermal hydraulic analysis, the temperature distributions are determined and their results are applied to the structural model of the piping system to determine the thermal stress. Using the rain-flow method the fatigue analysis is performed to generate fatigue usage factors. The procedure for improved load thermal fatigue assessment using FSI analysis shown in this study will supply valuable information for establishing a methodology on thermal fatigue.

The purpose of the study was to analyze consumers' perceptions of gamification. Based on the analyzed data, we would like to provide data by systematically organizing the concept, game elements, and mechanisms of gamification. Recently, gamification can be easily found around medical care, corporate marketing, and education. This study collected keywords from social media portal sites Naver, Daum, and Google from 2018 to 2023 using TEXTOM, a social media analysis tool. In this study, data were analyzed using text mining, semantic network analysis, and CONCOR analysis methods. Based on the collected data, we looked at the relevance and clusters related to gamification. The clusters were divided into a total of four clusters: 'Awareness of Gamification', 'Gamification Program', 'Future Technology of Gamification', and 'Use of Gamification'. Through social media analysis, we want to investigate and identify consumers' perceptions of gamification use, and check market and consumer perceptions to make up for the shortcomings. Through this, we intend to develop a plan to utilize gamification.

종래의 산업연관분석은 산업과 기술의 관계에 대한 명확한 해답을 줄 수 없었다. 그러나 OECD에서 최초로 연구한 기술연관분석은 산업과 기술의 관계를 경제학적으로 설명함으로써 기술에 대한 경제정책적 응용을 가능하게 하였다. 본 고는 일본과학기술정보센터(Japanese Information Center for Science and Technology:JICST)의 자료에 기초하여 기술연관분석을 응용한 일본의 연구사례로서 앞으로 그 활용이 기대되고 있다.

The purpose of this review is to explore the relevance of reminiscent behavior for the elderly individual's well-being. Various concept and prevalence of reminiscence and themes of reminiscence is investigated. Then the empirical evidence concerning the motive, pattern and the function of reminiscent behavior is reviewed. Psychological determinism, social contextualism, life course perspective are described. Since many transitions and changes are socially organized and differ strongly for social categories, life course perspective can contribute to analysis of both similarity and variation in elderly reminiscent behavior. After all it is concluded that there is evidence of reminiscent behavior can be a enhancing mediator for the elderly individual's well-being.

We analyze number agreement in English in the version of Situation Semantics I put forth in [1]. We propose two theoretical notions, agreement target situations and relevance of situations. We propose that structural constraints shift the former in a way governed by the latter. Our analysis shows that number agreement reflects our knowledge about the structure of the world and the speaker's interests in the discourse.

New electronic commercial paradign is now diffusing based on the rapid growth of computer network infrastructure and, therefore, online shopping malls are aggressively expanding all over the world. In this paper, we identify facilitating factors that affect active utilization of online shopping mall considering customers' needs and convenience such as service availability, information relevance to customers' needs. and system convinience. Empirical data analysis was performed for nine Korean online shopping malls. Results suggest that current shopping malls should concentrate on delivering relevant information to the customers needs and developing convenient shopping mall systems.

The purpose of this research is to provide the logistics research with a focus on the methods and theory of the research. This paper finds to explain the patterns of logistics research in domestic through the investigation of different theories and research methods employed. A analysis of methods in selected topics allows published research of the logistics to be categorized. Research classified into integrated table by each theory, research topic, methodology and triangulation. Study presented a variety of research paradigms in logistics and contributed to the current literature by providing an outlook of the logistics research.

This study is to empirically analyze the relevance between ownership structure and corporate value. This Study took 285 corporations listed in Korea Stock Exchange from 1990 to 1994 as samples. The result of this analysis is summerized as follows: Insider-inquiry ratio of corporation in Korea has been positively corelated with corporate value while it has been negatively corelated if the ratio is over 25%. This study intended to present desirable implications for seperating the management from ownership in Korea.

Immunological imbalance eventually results in the development of various diseases. A typical example is an imbalance of cytokines with immunomodulatory abilities. In this paper, we propose a two-variable delay model to anti-pro-inflammatory cytokine therapy for autoimmune diseases, which are caused by an imbalance between the pro and anti-inflammatory cytokines. The interaction between pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines were modeled mathematically to investigate the relevance of cytokines in disease processes. The delay time was estimated to maintain the stability of a biologically important steady state. In particular, the effects of delay with anti-pro-inflammatory cytokines therapy in autoinflammatory diseases were studied.

Structures with soft story irregularity have been seriously damaged in earthquakes. Therefore, the analysis of dynamic behavior of structures with soft story irregularity is of great value and relevance. In this study, a certain method will be used to discover the displacements and internal forces and to find out results about soft story irregularity. For this study, the multi-story frame-hinged shear wall system has been used as a model according to the continuous calculation system. The dynamic characteristics of the system have been obtained by analyzing the governing differential equation of the system. The dynamic characteristics have been calculated for a practical and quick analysis as indicated in tables. The suggested method is wholly based on manual calculation. A spectral analysis can be easily conducted with the help of Tables provided by this study. A sample has been solved and compared to the finite elements method to study the suitability of the method suggested at the end of this study.
