스크러버형 EGR시스템 디젤기관의 배기 배출형 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Exhaust Emissions in Diesel Engines with Scrubber EGR System)

  • The effects of recirculated exhaust gas on the characteristics of fuel economy combustion and exhaust emissions have been experimentally investigated by a four-cylinder four cycle indirect injection water-cooled and marine diesel engine operating at several loads and speeds. in order to reduce the soot contents in the recirculated exhaust gas to intake system of the engine a novel diesel soot removal system with a cylinder-type scrubber which has 6 water injectors(A water injector has 144 nozzles in 1.0 mm diameter) is specially designed and manufactured for the experiment system The experiments in this study are performed at the fixed fuel injection timing of $15.3^{\circ}$ BTDC regardless of experimental conditions, The brake specific fuel consumption rate is slightly fluctuated with EGR in the range of experimental conditions, The maximum value of premixed combustion for the rate of heat release is decreased with EGR at engine load 25% and the ignition is slightly delayed with EGR at engine load 100% NOx emissions are markedly decreased with EGR especially at high loads while soot emissions are increased as the EGR rate rises.

  • 하이브리드 자동차나 전기 자동차에 사용되는 LDC(Low Voltage DC-DC Converter)는 고전압 배터리 측의 높은 DC 전압을 입력 받아 낮은 전압인 12V로 강하시켜 전장부하 장치의 전원 공급 및 보조 배터리의 충전용으로 사용된다. LDC는 생산 공정 중에 장시간의 부하시험을 하는데 부하시험 시 전력을 100% 열로 방출하는 구조로 에너지 소비가 매우 큰 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 재생형 방식의 부하시험 방법을 제안하여 낭비되는 전력의 75~90%의 에너지 절감을 실현하였다.

Robust concurrent topology optimization of multiscale structure under load position uncertainty

  • Concurrent topology optimization of macrostructure and microstructure has attracted significant interest due to its high structural performance. However, most of the existing works are carried out under deterministic conditions, the obtained design may be vulnerable or even cause catastrophic failure when the load position exists uncertainty. Therefore, it is necessary to take load position uncertainty into consideration in structural design. This paper presents a computational method for robust concurrent topology optimization with consideration of load position uncertainty. The weighted sum of the mean and standard deviation of the structural compliance is defined as the objective function with constraints are imposed to both macro- and micro-scale structure volume fractions. The Bivariate Dimension Reduction method and Gauss-type quadrature (BDRGQ) are used to quantify and propagate load uncertainty to calculate the objective function. The effective properties of microstructure are evaluated by the numerical homogenization method. To release the computation burden, the decoupled sensitivity analysis method is proposed for microscale design variables. The bi-directional evolutionary structural optimization (BESO) method is used to obtain the black-and-white designs. Several 2D and 3D examples are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed robust concurrent topology optimization method.

OBS WDM 망에서 비 할당된 채널 개방시간을 이용한 효율적인 채널 스케줄링 기법 (Efficient Channel Scheduling Technique Using Release Time Unscheduled Channel Algorithm in OBS WDM Networks)

  • Optical Burst Switched (OBS)는 If over WDM 망에서 테라비트 전송을 하기 위한 진보된 기술이다. OBS의 핵심 기술 중 하나는 데이터 버스트(DB : Data Burst)의 경쟁을 막기 위한 채널 스케쥴링 이다. OBS망에서 버스트의 제어패킷(CHP : Control Header Packet)과 데이터 버스트는 시간 간격(Time Gap)을 가지고 전송된다. 버스트 스위치 노드에 CHP가 도착하면 데이터 버스트을 위해 스케줄링 알고리즘을 사용하여 파장/채널(wavelength/channel)과 같은 자원을 예약하여 광전광(O/E/O)변환 없이 데이터 버스트를 전송해준다. 데이터 버스트를 위해 채널 스케줄링 과정에서 버스트간의 경쟁과 시간 간격이 발생되어 자원의 사용율과 버스트 손실 확률이 떨어진다. 기존에 제안된 방법들은 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 많은 연구가 되어 지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 데이터 할당에서 발생되는 데이터간 간격과 데이터 손실에 중점을 두어 버스트 손실 확률과 자원 사용율을 극대화하기 위하여 버스트의 개방 시간)Release Time)을 이용한 채널 스케줄링 알고리즘 RTUC(Release Time Unscheduled Channel)을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 기존에 제안된 스케쥴링 알고리즘(LAUC, LAUC-VF)보다 버스트의 생존(Survival)과 효율적인 자원 사용 및 지연에서 개선된 성능을 확인하였다. 하지만, 로드가 적었을 경우 상대적으로 기존의 스케줄링 알고리즘보다 성능저하가 확인되었고, 로드가 증가했을 경우에는 데이터 손실 면에서 우수함을 확인하였다.

탄소섬유시트를 사용한 철근콘크리트 구조물의 휨 보강에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Flexural Repair of Reinforced Concrete Beams with the CFRP Sheet)

  • This paper presents the behavior and strenghening effect of reinforced concrete rectangular beams strengthened sing CFRP sheets with different strengthening level. In general, normally strengthened beams are failed by interfacial shear failure (delamination) within concrete, instead of by tensile failure of the CFRP sheets. The delamination occurred suddenly and the concrete cover cracked vertically by flexure was spalled off due to the release energy. The ultimate load considerably increased with an increase of strengthening level, while the ultimate deflection significantly decreased. The tensile force of CFRP sheets and average shear stress of concrete at delamination failure were curvilinearly proportional to the strengthening level. Therefore, the increment of ultimate load obtained by strengthening was curvilinearly proportional to th strengthening level.

The strengthened beams were stiffer than the control beam before and after reinforcement yielding. The ultimate load considerably increased with an increase of strengthening level, while the ultimate deflection significantly decreased. The tensile force of CFRP sheets and average shear stress of concrete at delamination failure were curvilinearly proportional to the strengthening level. Therefore, the increment of ultimate load obtained by strengthening was curvilinearly proportional to the strengthening level. The averaged horizontal shear stress of concrete at the interface ranges between (equation omitted) and (equation omitted) (in kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$) depending on strengthening level.

비종에 따른 논에서의 배출부하량 영향평가 (Effects of Fertilizer Types on Pollutant Loadings from Rice Paddy Fields)

  • The main objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of control-release fertilizer (CRF) on pollutant loadings from a small watershed. The Baran watershed, 386 ha in size, was selected as the study site, and the AGNPS (Agricultural Non-point Source Pollution) model was used to evaluate the effects of fertilizer types. Digital maps of digital elevation (DEM), slope distribution, channel, flow direction, landuse, soil, and curve number were extracted from the study watershed. Model parameters related to hydrology and water quality were calibrated and validated by comparing model predictions with the observed data collected for 2 years (1999 to 2000). Calibration and validation resulted in $R^2$ values of 0.75-0.91 for all the water quality parameters. All the paddy fields (21.2 %) of the study watershed were sprayed by either CRF or NPK (standard fertilizer). In CRF application, total nitrogen (TN) load was 4.9% less than NPK application, however total phosphorus (TP) load was 0.7 % more than NPK application. In CRF application, considering only paddy fields in the study area, TN load was 38.7 % less than NPK application. Using CRF in paddy fields could be one of the ways to reduce pollutant loadings from agricultural watersheds, however, in order to confirm it, more researches about effects of using CRF are necessary.

접착제로 접합된 이중외팔보 알루미늄폼의 파괴 거동에 관한 연구 (Fracture Behavior of Adhesive-Bonded Aluminum Foam with Double Cantilever Beam)

  • 본 논문에서는 초기균열을 갖고 있는 폐포형 구조, 발포알루미늄의 축방향 기계적 거동을 실험 및 유한요소해석으로 연구하였다. 재료시험에서 MTS 사의 10kN Landmarks 를 사용하여, 모드 I 형상의 15mm/min 의 하중속도로 변위를 제어하였다. 또한 유한요소해석 범용프로그램인 ABAQUS 6.10 으로 3 차원 형상의 실험과 동일한 조건으로 모델을 구성하여 해석을 수행하였다. 실험의 축방향 변위-하중 그래프와 시간에 대한 균열 길이를 기반으로 에너지 해방률을 계산하였으며, 이 값을 해석에서 파손 에너지 조건으로 사용하였다. 결과적으로 변위 값에 따른 하중 거동을 확인할 수 있었으며, 발포알루미늄이 접착제에 비해 상대적으로 큰 밀도와 탄성계수를 가지므로 발포알루미늄의 변형이 상대적으로 작다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Preparation and characterization of ibuprofen-loaded alginate microspheres using ethylenediamine as a crosslinker

  • In this study, ionotropic gelation method was used for the preparation of ibuprofen-loaded calcium alginate (CALG) and ethylenediamine (EDA) treated calcium alginate (EDA-CALG) microspheres. The effect of EDA-treatment on drug entrapment efficiency, particle size, morphology, swelling behavior and in vitro release characteristics of the microspheres was investigated by varying its concentration from 0.5 to 2% (v/v). The reduction in drug entrapment efficiency by a maximum of 44.60% was noted for EDA-CALG microspheres compared to untreated CALG microspheres. The particle size and swelling index of EDA-CALG microspheres were reduced with increasing EDA concentration. All the microspheres were observed to retain their spherical shapes with rough surfaces. EDA-CALG microspheres prepared using 1% and 2% v/v EDA, released almost all of its content within 7 h in pH 6.8 phosphate buffer, however, CALG microspheres were found to release the same within 3 h. The intensity of melting endothermic peak of ibuprofen reduced significantly at lower drug load as experienced from DSC thermograms. The FT-IR spectrum of pure ibuprofen, ibuprofen-loaded CALG and EDA-CALG microspheres showed the characteristic band of C = O stretching vibration of ibuprofen. Hence, this study revealed that EDA can be employed for the preparation of ibuprofen-loaded CALG microspheres to retard the drug release to some extent.
