가방 휴대 방법에 따른 보행 시 발의 비례추진력 변화 (Changes of relative impulse of foot on carrying 5 types of schoolbag during level walking)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the changes of the relative impulse of the foot when carrying 5 types of schoolbag during level walking. Methods: Forty-four normal subjects were divided into 5 groups according to the method of carrying a bag: carrying no bag (condition 1), a backpack (condition 2), a shoulder bag (condition 3), a cross bag (condition 4) and a one-hand bag (condition 5). To evaluate the partial relative impulse, 7 areas were measured on the sole of a foot: the hallux, toe, 1st metatarsal head (Met1) and the 2nd & 3rd metatarsal heads (Met2/3), the 4th & 5th metatarsal heads (Met4/5), mid foot and heel. Repeated one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and independent t-tests were used to analyze the statistical data. Results: In the right foot, the relative impulses in every areas revealed no significant difference (p>0.05), however, the relative impulses at Met1, Met2/3, Met4/5 and heel were significantly different between the different conditions (p<0.05). There were significant differences on comparing the relative impulse between left and right foot within one condition, the mid foot in condition 2, as well as the hallux and Met1 in condition 3 (p<0.05). In condition 4, the toe, Met1, Met4/5 and mid foot were significantly different (p<0.05). The values at the hallux, toe and Met1 in condition 5 also were significantly different (p<0.05). Conclusion: These findings showed that the symmetrical relative impulse of the foot was present in the case of carrying a backpack, but there was an extra load on specific regions and asymmetrical relative impulses in the case of carrying a shoulder bag, a across bag and a one-hand bag. 불안정한 면에서의 체간 훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 비례추진력에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Trunk Control Training on Labile Surface on Relative Impulse in the Persons with Stroke)

  • Purpose: The present study was designed to investigate the effect of trunk control training on the labile surface on relative impulse and balance in stroke patients. Methods: A total of 21 participants were assigned to an experimental group (n=11) or a control group (n=10). In addition to conventional therapy, the experimental group received trunk control training on the swiss ball; 20 minutes, 4 times a week, for 8 weeks. Balance ability was evaluated by FRT (functional reaching test) and TUG (time up and go). In addition relative impulse in 6 areas of the foot (hallux, 1st metatarsal head, 2~3 metatasal head, 4~5 metatasal head, mid foot and heel) were measured using the F-scan system to evaluate locomotion ability during gait. Results: Significant differences in the relative impulse were observed in the areas of the 2~3 metatasal head during gait after exercise in both the control group and experimental group (p<0.05). Also, a significant increase was seen in the hallux after exercise in the experimental group (p<0.05), but no such significant increase was seen in the control group (p>0.05). Significant differences were observed in FRT and TUG in the experimental group but no such significant increase was observed in the control group (p>0.05). Conclusion: These results suggest that trunk control training on labile surface improves the balance in stroke patients and has a positive effect on locomotion ability.

충동구매 소비자의 구매행위와 심리적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Purchase Behavior and the Psychological Characteristics of the Impulse-Buying Consumers)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the tendency of impulse buying behavior and the consumer psychological characteristic factors which arouse impulse purchase and the difference in exploratory behavior according to the degree of impulse buying behaviors. For this purpose existing studies on impulse buying behaviors, consumer stimulation levels and exploratory behaviors were theoretically reviewed. And field survey was carried out for this study; 353 women impulse consumers were selected by convenience sampling method. The summarized main results of this study are as follows; 1) In relative perspectives, the consumers who has high degree of impulse buying behavior was favor of sensory buying behavior but, was lack of planned and rational buying behaviro. 2) The optimal stimulation level of high-impulse consumers is higher than that of low-impulse consumers. Especially, optimal stimulation level of impulse consumers is significantly higher than their life-style stimulation level. This means that impulse consumers are consider to a stimulation seeker. 3) The high-impulse consumers have high exploration through shopping, high information seeking behavior, high interpersonal communication level, high risk taking behavior and particulary high sensory exploratory patterns in purchase exploratory behaviors than that of low-impulse consumers.

남자대학생의 점포이미지 선호가 의류제품 충동구매에 미치는 영향 연구 (The Impact of Store Image Preferences on Clothing Impulse Purchasing of Male College Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of store image preferences on clothing impulse purchasing of male college students. The sample included 290 male college students, and an instrument was developed based on the previous studies. The statistical analyses used for this study were factor analysis and multiple regression. The result of factor analysis showed that store image preferences consisted of five factors : promotion, display, service, product, brand preferences. Clothing impulse purchasing consisted of product-driven impulse purchasing, situation-driven impulse purchasing, emotion-driven impulse purchasing. Multiple regression revealed that there were significant effects of store image preferences on dimensions of clothing impulse purchasing. For example, promotion preference factor had a positive impact on product-driven impulse purchasing and situation-driven impulse purchasing, but had a negative impact on emotion-driven impulse purchasing. The relative importance of store image preference factors were different according to different dimensions of clothing impulse purchasing.

사이버 마아켓에서의 소비자 충동구매성향 분석 (An Analysis of Consumer Instantly Impulse Purchasing Propensity in Cyber Market)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the level of consumer instantly impulse buying in cuber market user. Also this study analyzes causal effect on consumer instantly impulse purchasing by demographic and social, place and promotion, consumer emotion state, and consumer internal and psychological variables. The data had been collected from on-line research method with 1,034, as using cuber market. The major statistical methods used for data analysis are frequency, percentile, mean, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis, and path analysis. The result of causal effect analysis were as follows; First, the variables affecting possession oriented materialism were sex and age. Second, the variables affecting self-control were sex, income, account of credit card, and instantly state of mind. Third, variables directly affecting instantly impulse purchasing were serif employed, banner advertisement, experience of cuber shopping, shopping mall pattern, instantly state of mind, purpose of shopping, happiness and success oriented materialism, and self-control. Also sex, income account of credit card, and instantly state of mind emerge to indirectly effect via self-control. Especially, the variables of success oriented materialism and instantly state of mind influenced on the highest of relative variables in consumer instantly impulse purchasing.

Factors Prompting Impulse Buying Behavior: Shoppers in Dubai

  • Purpose - This paper aims to identify and rank factors that influence impulse buying behavior among shoppers in Dubai. Research design, data, and methodology - Questionnaires were collected from 168 Dubai shoppers using non-probability quota sampling. Factor Analysis was completed to identify factors triggering impulse buying traits. Results - Six antecedent factors were identified: hedonism, in-store influences, product related influences, socialization, promotional activities, and convenience. Surprisingly, product related influences were the most significant in stimulating impulse buying behavior. Conclusions - This research suggests that a multitude of factors affect shopper propensity for impulse buying, with non-economic factors like product and in-store related influences having a significant impact. Hence, retail managers should concentrate on these in merchandising and promotional efforts. Against the backdrop of Dubai, one of the biggest retail destinations, this study contributes to present knowledge on impulse buying behavior. In terms of shopper inclinations and likeliness to purchase products, it highlights how shoppers respond to special in-store displays and discount offerings. For marketers, the findings regarding relative significance of various factors may help in strategies to attract consumers.

가스발생기 사이클 액체로켓엔진의 비추력 평가 (Evaluation of Specific Impulse for Liquid Rocket Engine Adopting Gas Generator Cycle)

  • 액체산소/케로신을 사용하는 가스발생기 사이클 액체로켓엔진의 비추력 해석을 수행하였다. 본 해석 방법으로 재연한 300톤급 엔진의 시스템 성능은 문헌에 보고된 결과와 비교하여 비추력 0.1%, 최적 연소압 12%의 오차를 보였다. 오차의 주요 원인은 문헌에 공개되지 않은 서브시스템의 성능모델 차이와 가스발생기 생성물의 물성 모델 차이로 판단된다. 막냉각이 적용되는 30톤급 1단용 엔진의 경우, 연소압 68 bar에서 혼합비 2.2가 최적 비추력 조건인 것으로 평가되었으며 최적 조건은 주어진 성능 모델에 따라 달라질 수 있다.

Relative azimuth estimation algorithm using rotational displacement

  • Recently, indoor localization systems based on wireless sensor networks have received a great deal of attention because they help achieve high accuracy in position determination by using various algorithms. In order to minimize the error in the estimated azimuth that can occur owing to sensor drift and recursive calculation in these algorithms, we propose a novel relative azimuth estimation algorithm. The advantages of the proposed technique in an indoor environment are that an improved weight average filter is used to effectively reduce impulse noise from the raw data acquired from nodes with inherent errors and a rotational displacement algorithm is applied to obtain a precise relative azimuth without using additional sensors, which can be affected by electromagnetic noise. Results from simulations show that the proposed filter reduces the impulse noise, and the acquired estimation error does not accumulate with time by using proposed algorithm.

  • Through matched filtering synthetic aperture radar (SAR) produces high-resolution imagery from data collected by a relative small antenna. While the impulse response obtained by the matched filter approach produces the best achievable signal-to-noise ratio, large sidelobes must be reduced to obtain higher-resolution SAR images. So, many enhancement methods of SAR imagery have been proposed. As a deconvolution method, the phase-extension inverse filtering is based on the characteristics of the matched filtering used in SAR imaging. It improves spatial resolution as well as effectively suppresses the sidelobes with low computational complexity. In the phase-extension inverse filtering, the impulse response is obtained from simulation with a point target. But in a real SAR environment, for example ERS-1, the impulse response is distorted by many non-ideal factors. So, in the phase-extension inverse filtering for a real SAR processing, the magnitudes of the frequency transfer function have to be compensated to produce more desirable results. In this paper, an estimation method to obtain a more accurate impulse response from a real SAR image is studied. And a compensation scheme to produce better performance of the phase-extension inverse filtering is also introduced.
