시간 기반 소프트웨어 재활 방식의 가용도 분석 (Availability Analysis of Systems with Time-Based Software Rejuvenation)

  • 소프트웨어 노화에 따른 시스템의 예기치 않은 장애 발생은 재활 기능을 주기적으로 수행함으로써 줄일 수 있다. 이 시스템 재활 기능은 주로 시스템이 가장 한가한 시간에 수행하는 것이 효과적이다. 이를 통해 시스템 가용도를 높일 수 있다. 재활 기법은 크게 시간 기반과 조건 기반의 두 가지 종류로 나눌 수 있다. 시간 기반 재활은 정해진 시간 간격마다 수행되고, 조건 기반 재활은 시스템 상태가 특정 조건을 만족할 때 수행된다. 조건 기반 방식은 시스템 감시와 정보의 수집 및 통계적 분석을 통해 재활 시점을 추정해야하기 때문에 추가적인 비용이 발생한다. 본 논문은 시간 기반 소프트웨어 재활 기법을 분석할 수 있는 확률 모형을 제시한다. 제시한 모형은 재활을 주기적으로 수행하는 시간 간격을 일정하게 유지할 수 있는 현실적인 상황을 반영한다. 해당 확률 모형을 수학적으로 분석하여, 정상 상태에서의 시스템 가용도와 사용자 인지 가용도 및 이에 따른 비용을 분석한다.

  • We propose the model of Software Rejuvenation methodology, which is applicable for survivability. Software rejuvenation is a proactive fault management technique and being used in fault tolerant systems as a cost effective technique for dealing with software faults. Survivability focuses on delivery of essential services and preservation of essential assets, even systems are penetrated and compromised. Thus, our objective is to detect the intrusions in a real time and survive in face of such attacks. As we deterrent against an attack in a system level, the Intrusion tolerance could be maximized at the target environment. We address the optimal time to execute ad hoc software rejuvenation and we compute it by using the semi Markov process. This is one way that could be really frustrated and deterred the attacks, as the attacker can't make their progress. This Software Rejuvenation method can be very effective under the assumption of unknown attacks. In this paper, we compute the optimum time to perform an ad hoc Software Rejuvenation through intrusions.

  • 가용도는 사용자에게 고가용 서비스를 제공하는 네트워크 시스템의 주요 성능지표로서 임의의 시간에 사용자에게 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 확률이다. 네트워크 서비스의 가용도를 향상시키는 대표적인 방법으로 다중화 방식과 재활기법이 있다. 본 논문에서는 2N redundancy와 시간 기반의 재활기법이 가용도에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 2N redundancy는 active 시스템과 standby 시스템으로 구성하는 다중화 방식이다. 재활주기에 의존하는 시간기반의 재활기법이다. 본 논문은 시간기반의 재활기법을 적용한 2N redundnacy모델을 stochastic reward net으로 설계한다. 설계한 모델은 stochastic Petri net package를 이용하여 분석한다. 수치해석을 통해 재활기법을 적용한 시스템의 가용도가 적절한 주기에서 재활기법을 적용하지 않은 시스템의 가용도보다 높다는 것을 알 수 있다.

  • 고가용성 다중계 시스템의 소프트웨어 재활 기법은 시스템의 결함 발생 이후에 수동적으로 대처하기보다는 결함이 발생하기 전에 이를 미연에 방지하는 능동적 차원의 결함 허용 방법이다. 특히 멀티미디어 이동 컴퓨팅에서 사용되는 소프트웨어는 통신 단절, 데이터 유실 등으로 인한 노화 진행이 일반 소프트웨어보다 상당히 빠르게 진행되기 때문에 소프트웨어 재활에 의한 결함 예방 방법은 대규모 멀티미디어 이동 컴퓨팅 시스템에 사용될 가능성이 높다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 서버에서 수행되는 소프트웨어의 재활 주기, 재활 소요시간, 서버의 고장률, 수리률, 동시에 가동되는 서버의 수, 서버의 가동 기간 및 가동 방식 등의 시스템 운영 파라미터에 기초하여, 소프트웨어 재활 정책에 대한 평가를 위한 평형 상태에서의 확률, downtime, 가용도, 손실 비용 등을 계산하였다 수학적 분석을 통해 구한 재활 모델의 closed-form 해는 다양한 시스템 운영 상태에 대한 실험을 통해 검증하였으며, 소프트웨어 재활을 통한 예방적 결함허용 기법의 적용 가능성이 높다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 서버의 고장률 및 불안정률이 소프트웨어 재활 정책 결정에 중요한 요소임을 파악하였다.

  • Objectives : This work aimed to review clinical trial trend of Korean medicine's face rejuvenation and suggest future trial using embedded needle(Maesun) based on Evidence-based medicine's PICO Model. Methods : 46 papers were searched from Oasis and DBPia, then 8 papers were engaged in review of clinical trial trend. Based on PICO model, clinical trial's patient, intervention, and outcome measurement were suggested. Results : Evidence level of clinical trials is relatively low, because their study designs are almost case report or case series. No study have comparison groups. Outcome measurement is varied, however, 3D face scanner were used to measure before-after changes of face. Based on review, we suggested that necessity of intervention standardization, measuring of normal control group and 2D/3D combined outcome measurement of face. Conclusions : There are many demands for revealing efficacy and safety of Korean medicine's intervention, also for face rejuvenation using embedded needle. For meeting the level of demands, more rigorous works are needed.

안면거상 및 팔자주름 개선을 위한 매선 시술 표준안 제안 (Preliminary Standard Procedure for Face Lift and Correction of Nasolabial Fold using Thread-Embedding (Maeseon) of Korean Medicine)

  • Objectives : This study aims to suggest preliminary standard procedure for face lift and correction of nasolabial folds using thread-embedding (Maeseon) of Korean medicine(KM). Methods : Three KM practitioners of facial correction and rejuvenation who have over hundred case of practice participated in establishment of standard procedure. Standard procedure contains preprocessing, main procedure for correction, and solution of side effects. Results : Standard procedure is comprised of twelve processes with preprocessing and postprocessing. Preprocessing has position, disinfection, and anesthesia. Main process consists of overall structure correction, face lifting, nasolabial folds correction, and mesh making on cheek. Postprocess covers disinfection, edema prevention. Conclusions : To our knowledge, this is the first work to suggest standard procedure of facial rejuvenation using Maeseon. It would contribute to standardized practice in clinical fields and future study of revealing Maeseon's effectiveness.

  • Objectives : Miso facial rejuvenation acupuncture is a Korean medical treatment technique for face lifting. The authors aimed to evaluate the effects of Miso facial rejuvenation acupuncture on facial skin furrows. Methods : 11 patients who made first visits to Hyo-Jun Korean Medical Clinic from October 1, 2009 to October 25, 2009 were each given one-time treatment of Miso facial rejuvenation acupuncture treatment. A portable fluorescent dermal diagnostic equipment, ECOSKIN, was used to measure extraocular skin furrows and perioral skin furrows width and depth before and after treatment. Results : Mean width and depth of both the extraocular and perioral skin furrows decreased after one-time Miso facial rejuvenation acupuncture treatment. Extraocular skin furrow width, depth, and perioral skin furrow width showed statistically significant decreases(p=0.003, 0.017, 0.041 respectively). Conclusions : Mean depth and width of both the extraocular and perioral skin furrows decreased after receiving Miso facial rejuvenation acupuncture treatment. Miso facial rejuvenation acupuncture may be an effective treatment for improving wrinkles in clinic.

미소안면침 시술 후 안면부 체온변화에 대한 임상적 고찰 : A case study (The Changes of Facial Temperature by Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture : A case study)

  • Objective: To investigate the changes of facial temperature by Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture treatment. Methods: One middle-aged women who has no other disease was recruited. The Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture was performed on only right face. We measured the facial temperature using the Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DOREX Inc. Spectrum 9000 MB, USA, D.I.T.I.) before, immediate after and 10 minutes after treatment. And we used the Wilcoxon signed rank test (P<0.05) to compare the difference of facial temperature at each time. Results: Right facial temperature (the area treated by acpuncuture) increased immediately from $30.02{\pm}1.87^{\circ}C$ to $32.24{\pm}1.03^{\circ}C$, the change of temperature is statistically significant. At 10 minutes after treatment, right facial temperature decreased little, but there was no statistical significance. Left facial temperature increased little, but there was no statistical significance. The difference between right and left face increased after Miso facial rejuvenation acupuncture treatment. Conclusion: Miso facial rejuvenation acupuncture could make the facial temperature increase.

  • Object : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture on Facial Palsy Sequela. Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is an Korean medical treatment technique used for face lifting and facial disease. Method : We tereated a male patients who has Facial palsy sequela include contraction, spasm, synkinesis with Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. The treatment was performed one times a week for thirteen times. The effects of the treatment were evaluated VAS(visual analogue scale). Result : After the treatment the grade of VAS was decreased and clinical symptoms were gradually disappaered. Conclusion : Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture showed improvement in sequela of facial palsy.
