  • The information space, the main components of which are information resources, means of information interaction, and information infrastructure, is a sphere of modern social life in which information communications play a leading role. The objective process is the gradual but stable entry of the national information space into the European and world information sphere, in the context of which there is a legitimate question of its protection as one of the components of the national security of Ukraine. However, the implementation of this issue in practice immediately faces the need to respect the rights and fundamental freedoms guaranteed by international regulations and the Constitution of Ukraine, especially in the field of cybersecurity. The peculiarity of the modern economy is related to its informational nature, which affects the sharp increase in cyber incidents in the field of information security, which is widespread and threatening and affects a wide range of private, corporate, and public interests. The problem of forming an effective information security system is exacerbated by the spread of cybercrime as a leading threat to information security both in Ukraine and around the world. The purpose of this study is to analyze the state of cybersecurity and on this basis to identify new areas of the fight against cybercrime in Ukraine. Methods: the study is based on an extensive regulatory framework, which primarily consists of regulatory acts of Ukraine. The main methods were inductions and deductions, generalizations, statistical, comparative, and system-structural analysis, grouping, descriptive statistics, interstate comparisons, and graphical methods. Results. It is noted that a very important component of Ukraine's national security is the concept of "information terrorism", which includes cyberterrorism and media terrorism that will require its introduction into the law. An assessment of the state of cybersecurity in Ukraine is given. Based on the trend analysis, further growth of cybercrimes was predicted, and ABC analysis showed the existence of problems in the field of security of payment systems. Insufficient accounting of cybercrime and the absence in the current legislation of all relevant components of cybersecurity does not allow the definition of a holistic system of counteraction. Therefore, the proposed new legal norms in the field of information security take into account modern research in the field of promising areas of information technology development and the latest algorithms for creating media content.

  • The study proposes a model that utilizes Python-based deep learning text classification techniques to detect the legality of illegal financial advertising posts on the internet. These posts aim to promote unlawful financial activities, including the trading of bank accounts, credit card fraud, cashing out through mobile payments, and the sale of personal credit information. Despite the efforts of financial regulatory authorities, the prevalence of illegal financial activities persists. By applying this proposed model, the intention is to aid in identifying and detecting illicit content in internet-based illegal financial advertisining, thus contributing to the ongoing efforts to combat such activities. The study utilizes convolutional neural networks(CNN) and recurrent neural networks(RNN, LSTM, GRU), which are commonly used text classification techniques. The raw data for the model is based on manually confirmed regulatory judgments. By adjusting the hyperparameters of the Korean natural language processing and deep learning models, the study has achieved an optimized model with the best performance. This research holds significant meaning as it presents a deep learning model for discerning internet illegal financial advertising, which has not been previously explored. Additionally, with an accuracy range of 91.3% to 93.4% in a deep learning model, there is a hopeful anticipation for the practical application of this model in the task of detecting illicit financial advertisements, ultimately contributing to the eradication of such unlawful financial advertisements.

  • During the years 2016 to 2020, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries embarked on a strategic initiative to develop a comprehensive Korean e-navigation system, which encompassed the establishment of an 'Long Term Evolution for Maritime (LTE-M).' The primary objectives were to proactively align with international navigation standards and enhance maritime safety for small vessels, particularly fishing boats. However, limitations were identified in the utilization of this network, primarily its constrained application for specific purposes. In response to these limitations, this study delves into user-centric investigations through surveys and interviews, with the goal of expanding the horizon of network utilization. User requirements emerged as the result of study, emphasizing the need for broader network applications, a wider range of target users, diverse network utilization methods, and regulatory streamlining. The user-driven insights gleaned from this study hold the potential to inform and shape future legislative measures, fostering more versatile and inclusive LTE-M network utilization for enhanced maritime safety.

  • Complex traits are determined by the combined effects of many loci and are affected by gene networks or biological pathways. Systems biology approaches have an important role in the identification of candidate genes related to complex diseases or traits at the system level. The gene network analysis has been performed by diverse types of methods such as gene co-expression, gene regulatory relationships, protein-protein interaction (PPI) and genetic networks. Moreover, the network-based methods were described for predicting gene functions such as graph theoretic method, neighborhood counting based methods and weighted function. However, there are a limited number of researches in livestock. The present study systemically analyzed genes associated with 102 types of economic traits based on the Animal Trait Ontology (ATO) and identified their relationships based on the gene co-expression network and PPI network in cattle. Then, we constructed the two types of gene network databases and network visualization system (http://www.nabc.go.kr/cg). We used a gene co-expression network analysis from the bovine expression value of bovine genes to generate gene co-expression network. PPI network was constructed from Human protein reference database based on the orthologous relationship between human and cattle. Finally, candidate genes and their network relationships were identified in each trait. They were typologically centered with large degree and betweenness centrality (BC) value in the gene network. The ontle program was applied to generate the database and to visualize the gene network results. This information would serve as valuable resources for exploiting genomic functions that influence economically and agriculturally important traits in cattle.

  • Microarray analyses provide information that can be used to enhance the efficiency of livestock production. For example, microarray profiling can potentially identify the biological processes responsible for the phenotypic characteristics of porcine liver. We performed transcriptome profiling to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in liver of pigs from two breeds, the Korean native pigs (KNP) and Yorkshire pigs. We correctly identified expected DEGs using factor analysis for robust microarray summarization (FARMS) and robust multi-array average (RMA) strategies. We identified 366 DEGs in liver (p<0.05, fold-change>2). We also performed functional analyses, including gene ontology and molecular network analyses. In addition, we identified the regulatory relationship between DEGs and their transcription factors using in silico and qRT-PCR analysis. Our findings suggest that DEGs and their transcription factors may have a potential role in adipogenesis and/or lipid deposition in liver tissues of two pig breeds.

  • The World Radiocommunication Conference in year of 2000 adopted new Plans as well as Lists for BSS and its feeder-link in the Regions 1 and 3, based on the new technical criteria such as small size of antenna and low satellite power. Since the new Plans and Lists were based on new technical criteria, ITU was requested to review the relevant regulatory procedures and sharing criteria of broadcasting satellite networks contained in Appendices 30 and 30A of Radio Regulations. Korean BSS network at 116$^{\circ}$E was chosen for the study and ITU S/W (MSPACEG) was used. We analyzed the interference effects from adjacent BSS networks to Korean BSS network using parameters of an antenna diameter and polarization of receiving earth station. The analysis shows that it is difficult to co-operate BSS networks both at 116$^{\circ}$E and 113$^{\circ}$E, however, it is possible to use small antenna (i.e. 45cm) in frequency sharing among BSS networks with 6$^{\circ}$ orbital separation.

  • Mu d1(Ap lac) bacteriophage can be used to search for genes which are members of a common regulatory network without having to know the functions of the genes in advance. Aim was for obtaining the loci in the SOS network as well as temperature inducible loci. For this purpose, recA441 allele was used. This allele encodes a thermosensitive recA gene product; thus, the recA441 allele can be activated upon temperature upshift without by external DNA damage. Approximately 10, 000 colonies were screened, and then searched for the colonies which expressed .betha.-galactosidase higher level at 42.deg.C than at 30.deg.C. The strains identified fell into two dlasses; (i) ones in which the increased expression was $recA^{+}$ $lexA^{+}$ -dependent, that is, din(damage-inducible) genes which were due to the activation of recA441 allele and (ii) ones in which the increased expression was $recA^{+}$ $lexA^{+}$ -independent and only temperature-inducible, tin genes. Rough mapping position was obtained for these genes.

  • MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are endogenous small RNA molecules best known for their function in post-transcriptional gene regulation. Immunologically, miRNA regulates the differentiation and function of immune cells and its malfunction contributes to the development of various autoimmune diseases including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Over the last decade, accumulating researches provide evidence for the connection between dysregulated miRNA network and autoimmunity. Interruption of miRNA biogenesis machinery contributes to the abnormal T and B cell development and particularly a reduced suppressive function of regulatory T cells, leading to systemic autoimmune diseases. Additionally, multiple factors under autoimmune conditions interfere with miRNA generation via key miRNA processing enzymes, thus further skewing the miRNA expression profile. Indeed, several independent miRNA profiling studies reported significant differences between SLE patients and healthy controls. Despite the lack of a consistent expression pattern on individual dysregulated miRNAs in SLE among these studies, the aberrant expression of distinct groups of miRNAs causes overlapping functional outcomes including perturbed type I interferon signalling cascade, DNA hypomethylation and hyperactivation of T and B cells. The impact of specific miRNA-mediated regulation on function of major immune cells in lupus is also discussed. Although research on the clinical application of miRNAs is still immature, through an integrated approach with advances in next generation sequencing, novel tools in bioinformatics database analysis and new in vitro and in vivo models for functional evaluation, the diagnostic and therapeutic potentials of miRNAs may bring to fruition in the future.
