일 실업 고등학교 학생들의 건강개념과 건강행위에 대한 조사 연구 (A Study on Health Concepts and Health Behavior in Vocational High School Studnts)

  • Health has occupied a position of importance in the human history, whether it be in the East or in the West, and it is a subject in which people have been constantly interested. The concept of health has changed continuously as the society has developed, industrialized and become more structured. The perception of health concept can be an esential factor which is to determine the health behaviors. This study is a descriptive inquiry done to identity high school students' perception of health and what they do as health behaviors. The subject consisted of 503 voctional high school seniors, 129 boys and 374 girls, from a school located in An-san Si, kyong-gi Do. The instruments used for this study were open-ended questionnaires and data were collected by having the students fill out the questionnaires which took 10 minutes, in their first class, April 6, 1995. The collected materials were classified and recorded on the cards according to each question using the terms which students had written. After putting statements which had common meanings together, the representative categories were labelled. The results obtained are as follows. 1. Categorizing and labelling of health concepts What high school students descripted as health concepts were classified as the absence of illness, physical comfort, strong physical strength and physique, not having a deformity, resisting power, self control mental-rest(or psychological comfort), wholesome ideas, self-control, harmony in body and in mind, maintenace of daily life, pleasant life, good friends, peaceful family life and realizing objectives. 2. Categorizing and labelling of health behaviors These were classified as preventive life, good dietary habits and regimen, maintenance of clean body, exercises, preventing obesity, rest, environmental balance or control of environment, limit one's tastes, making use of leisure, peaceful mind, sound thought and regular living habits. The result indicates that the health concepts were positive and included not only absence of illness but also harmony in body and in mind and pleasant life; health behaviors which had high frequency were good dietary habits and regimen, exercises and sound thought. It is hoped that these findings well serve as practical references for teachers when they counsel with, and provide the students with guidance programs which include health care.

경기지역 여고생과 여대생의 배변양상에 영향을 미치는 생활습관 요인 조사 (A Study on the Defecation Pattern and Lifestyle Factors of Female High School and College Students in Gyeonggi Province)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the dietary and lifestyle factors related to bowel pattern of female high school and college students in Gyeonggi Province. The total of 202 self-administered questionnaires (high school students 77 ; college students 125) were analyzed. All respondents were devided into four groups based on their self-reported pattern of defecation: 18 subjects ($9.0\%$) comprised the normal group, 73 ($36.1\%$) the constipation group, 73 ($36.1\%$) the constipation/diarrhea group, and 38 ($18.8\%$) the diarrhea group. Regularity of exercise was significantly higher in the college students than high school students, and times spending on a chair were longer in the high school students than college students. Most students ($72.7\%$) reported that they had stress. Fourty point six percent of the subjects reported that they had 3 meals per day, which tended to be higher in the normal and diarrhea group than constipation and constipation/ diarrhea group. Most students (69.7) skipped breakfast which was lower in the normal group than the other groups. The most preferred dietary fiber food was korean cabbage kimchi. Fifty-eight point four percent of the subjects reported that they had irregular bowel movement. Bowel movement was more irregular in the high school students than college students, and in the constipation group than the other groups. Of the subjects, $77.7\%$ had defecation frequency between three per week and three per day. Those who spent within 10 minutes for defecation were $79.6\%$, and those had difficulty in evacuating were $76.0\%$. High school students and those with constipation and constipation/diarrhea had a significantly lower defecation frequency, longer time spent at the toilet, and greater difficulty in evacuating than college students and normal and diarrhea group. The percentage of those who had feelings of residue in the intestine after defecation was $92.5\%$, and it was greater in the constipation or diarrhea group than in the normal group. Most students ($93.5\%$) reported that they had abdominal pain or discomfort. These results suggest that decreasing times spending on a chair, decreasing stress, keeping 3 meal per day at regular hours, and increasing dietary fiber intake are associated with desirable bowel pattern.

일부 남자 고등학생의 치과치료 공포감과 구강건강 삶의 질에 관한 연구 (Fear of dentist care and quality of life in dental health in male high school students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to find out the fear of dentist care, subjective recognition of dental health, and quality of life in the male high school students and to analyze the influencing factors on dental health care. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 243 special high-school in Deagu province from March 3 to March 14, 2014. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects(5 questions), subjective recognition of health and activities to improve health(6 questions), dental fear(20 questions), oral health related quality of life(16 questions). The instrument for dental fear was adapted from measured by Berggren Dental Fear Survey(DFS). A total of 20 DFS questions included treatment avoidance(8 questions), stimulus reaction(6 questions), and physiological reaction(5 questions) and score by Likert 5 scale. Cronbach alpha was 0.974 in the study. Oral health related quality of life was measured by 16 questions of CPQ11-14 for the adolescents by Lau. CPQ11-14 consisted of oral symptoms(4 questions), functional restriction(4 questions), and emotional wellbeing(4 questions). The instrument was score by Likert 5 scale and Cronbach alpha was 0.9354 in the study. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program for ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. Results: Fear of dentist care showed significant differences in treatment avoidance factor(p<0.001), stimulus reaction factor (p<0.05), and physiological reaction factor(p<0.001). The factors depended on subjective recognition of health and health-improving activities and differences in treatment avoidance factor(p<0.05) and physiological reaction factor(p<0.01). The dental symptoms factors showed significant differences in health recognition(p<0.001), interest in health(p<0.001), alcohol drinking status(p<0.001) and regular meal(p<0.001). While function limit factors showed differences in health recognition (p<0.001), interest in health(p<0.001), smoking(p<0.001), alcohol drinking(p<0.001) and regular meal(p<0.001). Mental and social stabilities factors showed significant differences in health recognition(p<0.001), interest in health(p<0.001) and alcohol drinking status(p<0.001). Among the factors influencing on the quality of life in dental health, interest in health(p<0.005), alcohol drinking(p<0.005) and physiological reaction in the midst of fear of dentist care(p<0.001) were the significant impact factor. Conclusions: It is necessary to develop a continuous and systematical program of dental health and dental care by experts so that the students can reduce the fear of dentist care by regular dental checkup and preventive treatment and care.

시험불안척도, 상태-특성불안 척도, 간이정신진단검사를 이용한 한의학과 대학생의 시험불안 특성 (Test Anxiety Investigation of Students in Oriental Medicine College by Using Korea's version-Test Anxiey Inventory, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Symptom Check List-90-Revision)

  • Objective : The aim of this study is to investigate and measure the Test-anxiety of college students in OO Oriental Medicine by using Korea's version-Test Anxiey Inventory(K-TAI-K), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory(STAI), Symptom Check List-90-Revision(SCL-90-R), etc. Methods : We studied 181 students who being at OO College of Oriental Medicine in second semester, 2007 We used some questionaries like K-TAI-K, STAI, SCL-90-R , College Life Satisfacaion, Life Event Questionnaire. Results and Conclusions : 1.141 persons(83,43%) of students feel the largest test anxiety before test. 18 persons(9.94%) of students feel the largest test anxiety after test. 2.The 1st grade students of preparatory course and 4th grade students of regular course have the lowest score in State Anxiety Inventory and obsessive-compulsive of SCL-90-R. The 2nd grade students of regular course have the lowest score in State Anxiety Inventory and obsessive-compulsive of SCL-90-R 3. Students who failed in test one time have the lowest score , and who failed in test more than two times have the highest score in K-TAl-K Students who failed one time in grade promotion more than two times showed high score in second K-TAI-K. 4. The higher grade, the lower score in College Life Satisfaction. The scores of College Life Satisfaction have negative correlations with those of K-TAI-K, STAI SCL-90-R except phobic anxiety, 5. The scores of Life Event Questionnaire have positive correlations with those of K-TAI-K, STAI and SCL-90-R except phobic anxiety. 6. The scores of K-TAl-K have positive correlations with those of STAI, SCL-90-R, College Life Satisfaction and Life Event Questionnaire. A correlation coefficient of obsessive-compulsive scale is highest, anxiety scale is second, interpersonal sensitivity scale is third, depression scale is fourth high among the scales of SCL-90-R.

자기조절학습능력이 중학교 수학교육에서 보조학습 선택 과정과 결과에 미치는 영향 분석 (The effect of the Self-Regulated Learning Ability on the Process of Selecting Assisted-Learning in the Middle School Mathematics Education)

  • 본 연구는 자기조절학습능력의 관점에서 중학생들의 수학 보조학습 선택, 유지, 변경 과정과 그 효과를 분석하여 학생들이 합리적인 공부 방법을 선택하도록 돕는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 학생들의 보조학습 선택, 유지, 변경 과정과 수업참여 적극성, 보조학습 성과로서 인지적, 정의적 영역의 변화를 정성적으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 자기조절학습능력이 높은 학생들은 자기조절학습능력이 낮은 학생들에 비해 첫째, 본인의 학습 과정과 보조학습이 자신에게 미치는 영향에 대해 구체적으로 판단하고 합리적 근거로 보조학습을 선택, 유지, 변경하였다. 둘째, 수업참여 적극성이 높고 내재적 동기에 의한 적극적 행동이 많았다. 셋째, 보조학습이 자신의 수학학습에 미친 영향을 구체적으로 느끼고 본인의 공부 방법에 확신이 있어 수학적 흥미와 자신감이 향상되었다고 느꼈다.

고등학생 흡연자와 비흡연자의 1일 영양소 및 간식 섭취 (The Daily Intakes of Nutrients and Snacks of High School Smokers and Non-Smokers)

  • This study investigates the relationship of smoking on daily intake of nutrients and snacks in the Chungnam and Daejeon high school students. Up to date scientific nutrition education and counseling programs in the regular school system is needed for a professional nutrition education teacher. The primary objective of this study was to provide useful information to nutrition education teachers. A survey was conducted with 400 high school students in the Chungnam and Daejeon areas. 381 out of 400 questionnaires were analyzed with SPSS 12.0K. The subjects were composed of 49.8% male, 50.1% female and 40.9% regular high school students, 59.1% business high school students and smokers 43.1%, non-smokers 56.9%. 43.4% of smokers had been smoking since middle school. On analysis of daily nutrient intakes, 16 out of 19 nutrients except animal calcium, Vitamin A and Vitamin C were much more consumed by the smoking group than the non-smoking group non-significantly. Especially vegetable fat and Vitamin E were higher in the smoking group than the non-smoking group (p<0.05). The intake ratio of carbohydrates: protein: fat was similar in the two groups (smoking group 55:15:29, nonsmoking group 56:15:28). Intakes of Vitamin B1 and potassium in comparison with the Korean dietary reference intakes(KDRI) were under 50% in both groups. However, sodium was taken over 200% compared to KDRI in both groups. Intakes of Vitamin C in the smoking group were as low as 76.5% in comparison to KDRI. Smokers need to increase the intakes of Vitamin C considering that smokers need to intake Vitamin C two times than non-smokers. Nutrient intakes from snacks in the smoking group were higher than the non-smoking group. Nutrients that originated from snacks which took over 20% among daily nutrient intakes were 12 nutrients(energy, fat, carbohydrate, calcium, P, Fe, K, Vitamin $B_1$, Vitamin $B_2$, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, dietary fiber) in the smoking group compared to 7 nutrients(energy, vegetable protein, fat, carbohydrate, calcium, Vitamin $B_2$, Vitamin C) in the non-smoking group. The smoking group was significantly paying more money for snacks each month than the non-smoking group was(p<0.01). Periods of consumption were irregular in the smoking group(p<0.05) and the smoking group was used to taking snacks in the morning compared to the non-smoking group. The smoking group preferred sweets and high calorie food over other snacks in comparison of the non-smoking group. The nonsmoking group had better eating habits than the smoking group.

수학 내러티브가 일반고 학생의 수학 정서에 미치는 영향에 대한 사례 연구 (A case study on mathematics narrative's influences on affects about mathematics of ordinary high school students)

  • 교육부는 실생활 또는 판타지 맥락의 이야기를 활용하여 수학적 지식의 구성 동기를 제공하고 흥미를 유발하려는 스토리텔링을 주창하고 있다. 그러나 학교수학은 실생활이나 판타지 맥락과 직접적인 관련을 맺기 어려운 내용을 포함하기 때문에 그런 경우 수학적 사실들이 어떤 점에서 흥미로운지를 수학 내러티브로 구성하여 교수학습 하는 것이 긍정적 수학 정서 형성을 위한 한 가지 방안이 될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 서울의 한 일반고에서 치러진 4회의 정기고사 문항들을 소재로 개발한 4건의 수학 내러티브를 정기고사가 끝날 때마다 한 건씩 그 시험을 치른 한 명 내지 5명의 학생들과 논의한 사례를 분석하여 수학 내러티브가 일반고 학생의 수학에 대한 정서에 미치는 영향과 그 개선 방향을 탐구하였다. 그 결과 4건의 수학 내러티브에 대한 논의에 꾸준히 참여한 한 학생의 수학에 대한 정서가 긍정적으로 변화하는 것을 관찰하였다. 이 학생의 변화와 다른 4명의 학생들의 반응으로부터 수학 내러티브의 개발과 적용에 대한 몇 가지 시사점을 논의하였다.

부산지역 중등학교 양호교사 및 양호겸직교사의 학교보건업무 활동 양상 (A Study of School Nursing Activity Performed by School Nurses and Teachers Holding Additional School Health)

  • The purpose of this study was to improve upon school health by understanding the present status of school health and escpecially to investigate the performance rate of regular health instruction. 261 schools, including middle and high schools enrolled in the Busan Educational Association, were sent Questionnaires. Data was collected from the 25th of January to the 10th of April, 1994. 229 subjects who responded to the Questionnaires were finally analyzed as samples. Among them, 127 were school nurses and 102 were teachers acting in a school health capacity. The results of this study are summerized as follows: Of the teachers holding additional school health responsibilities, $85.6\%$ worked in private schools. Many of them $(74.5\%)$ were formally dissatisfied with their ability to provide care because $85.3\%$ of them had never studied any school health. Some of them$(30.4\%)$ didn't know about the annual school nursing budget and $23.5\%$ of them hadn't taught any health education to students. In spite of this fact, they were placed in charge of a school health activity against their own will. There were statistically significant differences in the performance of school health affairs between nurses and teachers holding additional school health (p<0.001) as follows: annual school nursing budget, Health Program Planning and Evaluation, annual purchase price for medicines, average students cared for per day, average students who held at least one consultation per month and extra. Surely, the self-confidence of school nurses was higher than that of teachers with school health as an assigned responsibility. This was demonstrated by a significant statistical difference (p<0.01) in the responses by the two groups. $88.2\%$ of the school nurses and $73.5\%$ of teachers for school health thought that regular health instruction was necessary. But regular health education had been performed only by $32.8\%$ of respondents. Among them, 84% were school nurses and $16\%$ were teachers holding additional school health. Of the persons who performed regular health education, $69.3\%$ used less than $60\%$ of the health content of the athletic textbook. And $64\%$ of them said teaching materials were insufficient. Most of them $(69.4\%)$used home made lesson plans. which they compiled from various sources. There was a significant difference in the formality of the health lesson according to the concern of the school principal (p<0.01) and there was a significant difference in performing health education between school nurses and teachers holding additional school health (p<0.001) It appears that there are a lot of problems with providing school health care using people who are untrained. In a word, school health nurses with professional training are needed in order to perform the qualitative management for the health of the students. These days, regular health education is an indispensable part in making students improve their self-care abilities. Therefore a more effective and better defined program should be prepared for regular systematic health education. To resolve these problems, present laws and regulations related to school health should be revised considering the specialist's request for the improvement of school health. In addition, the concern and financial support of the government are essential.

경주지역 고등학생의 성격유형에 따른 식생활 태도 및 식품기호도 (The Dietary Behavior and Food Preference according to Personality Types of High School Students in Gyeongju)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the dietary behavior and food preference based on the personality types of the high school students in Gyeongju. According to the survey on the personality types of the students, the type of SP(Sensing-perceiving) occupied the highest ratio, 46% and NF(Intuition-Feeling) 8.6% and NT(Intuition-Thinking) 8.2% and SJ(Sensing-Judging) 7.1%. The difference between the ratio of SP(Sensing-perceiving) and NF was the highest. There was a difference according to the personality types in the effect of knowledge learned in school on the choice of food; the types of NT and NF did not influence on it. The degree of regularity in the amount of every meal showed a significant difference according to the personality types (p<.05); students with NT and SJ types had the regular meals. The factors which could influence on the dietary behavior were parents(60.7%), friends(16.9%) and mass media and books(13.8%), etc. School education had a little influence on the dietary behavior, only 8.0%. Therefore, more practical education was needed. In the food preference, the type of NF preferred the foods with sweet taste while the others with hot taste.

교육과정과 연계된 초등학교 캠프형 SW·AI교육 콘텐츠 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the development of elementary school SW·AI educational contents linked to the curriculum(camp type))

  • 코로나 이후 급격한 현대사회의 변화는 인공지능 인재가 국가 경쟁력을 좌우하는 주요한 영향요인으로 부각시겼다. 이에 따라 교육부에서는 인공지능 교육 공백기에 있는 초등학교 4-6학년과 중고등학생의 디지털 역량을 개발시키기 위해 대단위 SW·AI 캠프 교육 사업을 기획하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초등학교 4-6학년 학생들을 대상으로 하는 캠프 형 SW·AI교육프로그램을 개발하여 초등학교 4-6학년 학생들로 하여금 인공지능 기초소양을 갖추도록 하고자 한다. 이를 위해 초등학교에서의 SW·AI 교육의 의미를 정의하고 초등학교과정에서 다루어야 할 SW·AI 내용으로 'SW·AI의 이해', 'SW·AI의 원리와 활용' 및 'SW·AI의 사회적 영향'을 설정하였다. 또한 설정된 초등학교 SW·AI 교육학습 요소와 현재 초등학교에서 사용하고 있는 교과서의 관련 교과 및 단원과의 연계를 시도하였다. 교육에 사용되는 프로그램으로는 블록코딩 기반의 소프트웨어 코딩 학습 도구인 엔트리를 통하여 소프트웨어 프로그래밍 기초 역량을 강화하도록 하였으며, 모든 프로그램은 초등학생의 발달적 특징을 고려하여 경험과 체험 위주의 참여자 중심으로 운영되도록 설계하였다. 본 연구에서 이루어진 SW·AI 캠프 교육 프로그램은 방과 후 과정이나 방학 등을 이용하여 단기간에 운영되는 프로그램이다. 따라서 이를 토대로 초등학교 과정에서 SW·AI 교육이 정규교육과정의 일원으로 편성되어 운영되기 위해서는 정규교과 내용분석과 SW·AI 교육내용의 심층적인 분석을 기초로 한 연구가 필요함을 제언하는 바이다.
