Since the leisure time and interests in environment and health have been increasing, the number of hikers who enjoy the beautiful landscape and regional culture through the exploration of natural regions has been growing. However, these various road haven't been related to the rural village in many cases, so it is necessary to make some alternatives for revitalizing the region and improving incomes of non farm. Therefore this study suggested the applications of rural trail plan that fits for a scale of the rural village and local characteristics. This research divided forms of the rural village road into type of the natural landscape resource (Gangreung Anbandegi Village) and that of the historical culture resource (Yongin Hakil Village) according to amenity resources of objective village. The plan for village road basically made by the best of valuable resources of village unit, connected existing 'Trail' of other departments to the village and suggested a case of plan applied to the field so as to emphasize characteristics of rural area. It should be possible to induce hikers to rural area and be suggested as a measure for improvement of village image, regional vitalization and incomes of non farm.

Based on the results above, we were able to extract several elements to consider preparing the countermeasures for the conflicts. • The purpose of this research is firstly to derive regular sizes of average dwellings in Korea and to examine minimum living standards in light of those regular dwellings in order to meet future housing requirements of low income households. Two plan types of unit floor area 60 $m^2$ and 85 $m^2$ have become prevalent and ubiquitous so as to reflect the basic requirements of ordinary living standards. Thus, dimensional characteristics of each space in those two plan types is thoroughly investigated in this research. The background of regular plans and their popularized process is first reviewed and the 120 cases of apartment units which were constructed between 2000 and 2007, are selected from those three regional groups and surveyed in detail. The area, depth, width and proportion of each space of unit plans are compared and analyzed in various aspects. As a result, proper space sizes and standards for low income households are reviewed and compared. The regional difference of space dimensions is not significant as expected but area and size characteristics of each space is very much regularized and obvious. And it is argued that those dimensional characteristics should convey the social and cultural values of Korean housing. The average dimensions of each spaces of surveyed apartment unit turns out to be much closer to guidable living standards rather than minimum living standards. Thus, it is very probable that the present guidable living standards could be upgraded to become the future minimum living standards soon.

  • This study focused on low fertility and population decline which threaten national competitiveness. Therefore, a comprehensive analysis was attempted on the impact of housing characteristics and residential area characteristics of newlyweds on their birth plan. To this end, the hierarchical linear model(HLM) was implemented using '2016 Korea Newlyweds' Housing Survey' data. The main findings of this study are as follows. First, the birth plan of newlyweds is affected not only by housing characteristics, but also residential area characteristics such as the average housing price, average private education expenses and the number of local child centers. Second, the use of housing loans and the housing tenure have an interaction effect with the average housing price and the number of local child centers among the residential area characteristics. In other words, the use of housing loans has a negative effect on the birth plan if the housing price is high in the area, and being renter household has a positive effect on the birth plan if the number of local child centers is high in the area. These findings suggest that governmental effort to raise the birthrate of newlyweds should take into account their housing characteristics as wells as residential area characteristics.

  • Influenza A viruses periodicall y cause worldwide epidemics, or pandemics, with high rates of illness and death. A pandemic can occur at any time, with the potential to cause serious illness, death and social and economic disruption throughout the world. Historic evidence suggests that pandemics occurred three to four times per century. In the last century there were three influenza pandemics. The circumstances still exist for a new influenza virus with pandemic potential to emerge an d spread. The unpredictability of the timing of the next pandemic is underlined by the occurrence of several large outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza since the early 1980s. In 1999, the World Health Organization published the Influenza pandemic plan. The role of WHO and guidelines for national and regional planning. And in 2005, WHO revised the global influenza preparedness plan for new national measures before and during pandemics. This document outlines briefly the Korean Centers for Disease Control's plan for responding to an influenza pandemic. According to the new pandemic phases of WHO, we set up the 4 national levels of preparedness and made guidelines for preventing and control the epidemics in each phase. And also we described the future plans to antiviral stockpiles and pandemic vaccine development.
