In this Paper, a fiber Bragg grating(FBG) sensor system is described and FBGs are well-suited for long term and extremely severe experiments, where traditional strain gauges fail. In the system. a reflect wave-length measurement method which employs a tunable light source to find out the center wave-length of FBG sensor is used. We apply the FBG system to nuclear energy Power Plant for structural integrity test to measure the displacement of the structure under designed pressure and to check the elasticity of the structure by measuring the residual strain. The system works very well and it is expected that it can be used for a real-time strain, temperature and vibration detector of smart structure.

In this paper, we summary known suggestion system which is useful a small and medium enterprise. We don't think suggestion system of a small and medium enterprise active. We reflect 2 points of suggestion system. We propose the Active Plan to Suggestion System for small and medium Enterprise which are (1) suggestion direction for enterprise future, (2) suggestion body for all employee included, (3) suggestion methods for all information shared.

The authors report methods of fabrication singlelayer color cholesteric liquid crystal displays (CLCDs). A single-layer CLCD has been prepared from a polymerstabilized cholesteric liquid crystal. The unique feature of the polymer stabilization is in that the electrically switched colors preserve high reflectivity. A bistable single-layer CLCD has been prepared by the formation of polymer barrier walls and light-tuned cholesteric pitches to reflect blue, green and red color sub-pixels.

The Maglav system project affects communities and are usually funded by public agencies. Evaluation of this project that considerably impact whole communities requires public involvement. This specific requirement of transportation projects determines the method of their evaluation as the impacts are estimated from the transportation economic point of view. Especially evaluation criteria must reflect the needs of the interested parties and should consider all foreseeable benefits and losses caused by the Maglav project. To select evaluation criteria and evaluation method may help a decision--maker in making a best selection for a Maglav project.

A new scheduling algorithm called the Adaptive Weighted Round Robin with Delay Tolerance (AWRR/DT) is presented. The proposed scheme can reduce the average delay of non-real-time (NRT) class while maintaining the QoS of real-time (RT) classes. Our scheme can also reflect the traffic fluctuation of networks with a small processing burden.

We fabricated and characterized a millimeter-wave ceramic package in a frequency range from 6 to 40㎓ using the LTCC(Low Temperature Cofired Ceramic) Technology and TRL(Thru-Reflect-Line) calibration method. From these measurement results, the fabricated feed-through structure achieved 0.5 dB, 14 dB of the insertion loss and the return loss at 30 GHz respectively. This ceramic package will be useful for MMIC(Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) modules.

The paper focuses on the clothing codes described in the Analects of Confucius, and explores the reasons for the rules setting up, including the rules of color, the design, the pattern, and even the material of the clothes whose distinct features reflect the ceremony and etiquette of the time in the classic, which are in correspondence with the requirements of Confucianism, especially for stressing the social rights, obligations and codes of conduct to everyone in the society.

Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves have been frequently used to compare probability models applied to medical problems. Though the curves are a measure of the discriminatory power of a model. they do not reflect the model's accuracy. A supplementary accuracy curve is derived which will be coincident with the ROC curve if the model is reliable. will be above the ROC curve if the model's probabilities are too high or below if they are too low. A clinical example of this new graphical presentation is given.

When people choose one way of action from various alternatives, they make value judgement. Due to limited capacity of human information processing, however, a decision maker cannot reflect his true subjective utility in evaluating alternatives especially for a problem which has multiattribute. The analytic hierachy model is a tool which converts scores derived from pairwise comparison with respect to each attribute to overall scores of the alternatives. Then the overall scores are utilized to choose an alternative. Therefore this model can be used to support people's value judgement.

The Constructive Battle Simulation Model is very important to the recent military training for the substitution of the field training. However, real battlefield systems operate under real-time conditions, they are inherently distributed, concurrent and dynamic. In order to reflect these properties by the computer-based simulation systems which represent real world processes, we have been developing constructive simulation model for several years. Conventionally, scheduling and resource allocation activities which have timing constraints, we elaborated on these issues and developed the simulation system on commercially available hardware and operating system with lock-free resource allocation scheme and rate monotonic scheduling.
