역도 인상동작 성공 시 최대 바벨무게 예측 (The Forecasting a Maximum Barbell Weight of Snatch Technique in Weightlifting)

  • The purpose of this study was to predict the failure or success of the Snatch-lifting trial as a consequence of the stand-up phase simulated in Kane's equation of motion that was effective for the dynamic analysis of multi-segment. This experiment was a case study in which one male athlete (age: 23yrs, height: 154.4cm, weight: 64.5kg) from K University was selected The system of a simulation included a multi-segment system that had one degree of freedom and one generalized coordinate for the shank segment angle. The reference frame was fixed by the Nonlinear Trans formation (NLT) method in order to set up a fixed Cartesian coordinate system in space. A weightlifter lifted a 90kg-barbell that was 75% of subject's maximum lifting capability (120kg). For this study, six cameras (Qualisys Proreflex MCU240s) and two force-plates (Kistler 9286AAs) were used for collecting data. The motion tracks of 11 land markers were attached on the major joints of the body and barbell. The sampling rates of cameras and force-plates were set up 100Hz and 1000Hz, respectively. Data were processed via the Qualisys Track manager (QTM) software. Landmark positions and force-plate amplitudes were simultaneously integrated by Qualisys system The coordinate data were filtered using a fourth-order Butterworth low pass filtering with an estimated optimum cut-off frequency of 9Hz calculated with Andrew & Yu's formula. The input data of the model were derived from experimental data processed in Matlab6.5 and the solution of a model made in Kane's method was solved in Matematica5.0. The conclusions were as follows; 1. The torque motor of the shank with 246Nm from this experiment could lift a maximum barbell weight (158.98kg) which was about 246 times as much as subject's body weight (64.5kg). 2. The torque motor with 166.5 Nm, simulated by angular displacement of the shank matched to the experimental result, could lift a maximum barbell weight (90kg) which was about 1.4 times as much as subject's body weight (64.5kg). 3. Comparing subject's maximum barbell weight (120kg) with a modeling maximum barbell weight (155.51kg) and with an experimental maximum barbell weight (90kg), the differences between these were about +35.7kg and -30kg. These results strongly suggest that if the maximum barbell weight is decided, coaches will be able to provide further knowledge and information to weightlifters for the performance improvement and then prevent injuries from training of weightlifters. It hopes to apply Kane's method to other sports skill as well as weightlifting to simulate its motion in the future study.

The Effects of the IERS Conventions (2010) on High Precision Orbit Propagation

  • The Earth is not perfectly spherical and its rotational axis is not fixed in space, and these geophysical and kinematic irregularities work as dominant perturbations in satellite orbit propagation. The International Earth Rotation Service (IERS) provides the Conventions as guidelines for using the Earth's model and the reference time and coordinate systems defined by the International Astronomical Union (IAU). These guidelines are directly applied to model orbital dynamics of Earth satellites. In the present work, the effects of the latest conventions released in 2010 on orbit propagation are investigated by comparison with cases of applying the previous guidelines, IERS Conventions (2003). All seven major updates are tested, i.e., for the models of the precession/nutation, the geopotential, the ocean tides, the ocean pole tides, the free core nutation, the polar motion, and the solar system ephemeris. The resultant position differences for one week of orbit propagation range from tens of meters for the geopotential model change from EGM96 to EGM2008 to a few mm for the precession/nutation model change from IAU2000 to IAU2006. The along-track differences vary secularly while the cross-track components show periodic variation. However, the radial-track position differences are very small compared with the other components in all cases. These phenomena reflect the variation of the ascending node and the argument of latitude. The reason is that the changed models tested in the current study can be regarded as small fluctuations of the geopotential model from the point of view of orbital dynamics. The ascending node and the argument of latitude are more sensitive to the geopotential than the other elements. This study contributes to understanding of the relation between the Earth's geophysical properties and orbital motion of satellites as well as satellite-based observations.

점토의 변형률 속도 의존성을 고려한 비선형 유한변형 압밀해석 (Finite Strain and Nonlinear Consolidation Analysis Considering the Effect of Strain Rate Dependency on Clay)

  • 재료적 비선형성과 합리적인 좌표계의 도입이 압밀문제에 있어 중요한 자리를 점한다는 인식에서 비선형 유한변형압밀이론이 제안되어 왔으나 너무 어려운 매개변수 설정 등의 문제점에 의해 일반적인 압밀해석에서 널리 사용되고 있지는 못하다. 본 연구에서는 구분선형(piecewise-linear) 압밀이론을 이용하여 점토의 변형률 속도 의존성을 고려한 압밀해석이 가능한 해석법을 제시하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 특히 유사한 방법에서 큰 문제가 되어 왔던 압축곡선의 유일성을 해결할 수 있는 방안으로 기준곡선을 이용하는 방안을 도입하였다. 개발된 해석법의 검증을 위해 실시된 일련의 과정을 통해 모델의 적용성을 일부 확인하였으며 향후 제한적인 실내실험결과에서 확장하여 실제 압밀문제에 대한 적용성 확인 등의 연구가 수행되어야 할 것으로 판단하고 있다.

이상치 제거와 삼각망 기반의 지역 변환을 이용한 영상 등록 (Image registration using outlier removal and triangulation-based local transformation)

  • 본 논문에서는 정합된 특징점 가운데 과대 오차를 포함한 정합점을 제거한 후에 삼각망 기반 지역 변환(Triangulation-based Local Transformation, TLT)을 이용한 영상 등록 방법을 제안한다. 기하 평균 기반의 코너 검출기를 통해 검출된 코너점에 대해 Pearson's correlation coefficient를 이용한 코너 정합을 수행하고 임계값 이상의 유사도를 가지는 코너 가운데 좌우 일관성 검사(Left-Right Consistency, LRC)를 통과한 코너를 1차 정합쌍으로 선정한다. 1차 정합쌍 가운데 RANSAC 기반 글로벌 변환(RANSAC-based Global Transformation, RGT) 오차가 이상치 임계값보다 작은 정합쌍을 최종 정합쌍으로 결정한다. 최종 정합쌍 코너를 이용해서 기준 영상과 관측 영상에서 Delaunay Triangulated Irregular Networks(TINs)을 각각 구성한 후에 서로 대응되는 각 삼각형마다 어파인 변환을 수행하고 각 삼각형 내부의 모든 화소들을 기준 영상 좌표로 변환한다. 제안한 알고리즘을 KOMPSAT-2 영상에 적용하여 RANSAC 기반 글로벌 변환보다 우수한 영상 등록 성능을 보임을 확인하였다.

공공기준점 측량에 적용을 위한 VRS(가상기준점) 방식의 Network-RTK 정확도 분석 (Analysis of Network-RTK(VRS) Positioning Accuracy for Surveying Public Control Point)

  • 현재 국토지리정보원은 전국 44개의 상시관측소를 이용하여 VRS 서비스를 제공하고 있으며 이를 이용하여 짧은 시간 동안 취득된 자료의 처리를 통해 높은 위치정밀도의 획득이 가능하다. 그러나 공공기준점 측량을 위한 VRS 측량의 가용성 분석은 미비한 상태이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 다양한 환경에서 데이터를 취득하여 공공기준점 측량에 대해 적용하기 위한 VRS 측량의 정확도를 분석하였다. 그 결과 85%의 데이터가 4cm 이내의 수평오차가 나타남으로써 VRS 측량에 적용할 수 있다고 판단되었고 좌표의 정확도를 판별하는 인자로 GDOP(Geometric Dilution of Precision)보다는 추정된 좌표의 분산을 나타내는 PQ(Position Quality)를 이용하는 것이 효율적임을 알수 있었다. 또한, 현재 대표적인 VRS 장비회사인 TRIMBLE, MAGELLAN, LEICA, TOPCON의 장비의 정밀도를 비교분석한 결과 수평위치의 표준편차가 3cm 미만으로 나타났으며, 회사 장비 별 정밀도는 비슷한 것으로 확인 되었으며, 공공기준점 측량에 VRS 측량을 적용하여도 무방하다고 사료된다.

A new method to measure the accuracy of intraoral scanners along the complete dental arch: A pilot study

  • PURPOSE. The purpose of this study is to assess the accuracy of three intraoral scanners along the complete dental arch and evaluate the feasibility of the assessment methodology for further in vivo analysis. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A specific measurement pattern was fabricated and measured using a coordinate measuring machine for the assessment of control distances and angles. Afterwards, the pattern was placed and fixed in replica of an upper jaw for their subsequent scans (10 times) using 3 intraoral scanners, namely iTero Element1, Trios 3, and True Definition. 4 reference distances and 5 angles were measured and compared with the controls. Trueness and precision were assessed for each IOS: trueness, as the deviation of the measures from the control ones, while precision, as the dispersion of measurements in each reference parameter. These measurements were carried out using software for analyzing 3-dimensional data. Data analysis software was used for statistical and measurements analysis (α=.05). RESULTS. Significant differences (P<.05) were found depending on the intraoral scanner used. Best trueness values were achieved with iTero Element1 (mean from 10 ± 7 ㎛ to 91 ± 63 ㎛) while the worst values were obtained with Trios3 (mean from 42 ± 23 ㎛ to 174 ± 77 ㎛). Trueness analysis in angle measurements, as well as precision analysis, did not show conclusive results. CONCLUSION. iTero Element1 was more accurate than the current versions of Trios3 and True Definition. Importantly, the proposed methodology is considered reliable for analyzing accuracy in any dental arch length and valid for assessing both trueness and precision in an in vivo study.

Modeling and Direct Power Control Method of Vienna Rectifiers Using the Sliding Mode Control Approach

  • This paper uses the switching function approach to present a simple state model of the Vienna-type rectifier. The approach introduces the relationship between the DC-link neutral point voltage and the AC side phase currents. A novel direct power control (DPC) strategy, which is based on the sliding mode control (SMC) for Vienna I rectifiers, is developed using the proposed power model in the stationary ${\alpha}-{\beta}$ reference frames. The SMC-based DPC methodology directly regulates instantaneous active and reactive powers without transforming to a synchronous rotating coordinate reference frame or a tracking phase angle of grid voltage. Moreover, the required rectifier control voltages are directly calculated by utilizing the non-linear SMC scheme. Theoretically, active and reactive power flows are controlled without ripple or cross coupling. Furthermore, the fixed-switching frequency is obtained by employing the simplified space vector modulation (SVM). SVM solves the complicated designing problem of the AC harmonic filter. The simplified SVM is based on the simplification of the space vector diagram of a three-level converter into that of a two-level converter. The dwelling time calculation and switching sequence selection are easily implemented like those in the conventional two-level rectifier. Replacing the current control loops with power control loops simplifies the system design and enhances the transient performance. The simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink and the digital signal processor-controlled 1.5 kW Vienna-type rectifier are used to verify the fast responses and robustness of the proposed control scheme.

AUTOMATIC PRECISION CORRECTION OF SATELLITE IMAGES

  • Precision correction is the process of geometrically aligning images to a reference coordinate system using GCPs(Ground Control Points). Many applications of remote sensing data, such as change detection, mapping and environmental monitoring, rely on the accuracy of precision correction. However it is a very time consuming and laborious process. It requires GCP collection, the identification of image points and their corresponding reference coordinates. At typical satellite ground stations, GCP collection requires most of man-powers in processing satellite images. A method of automatic registration of satellite images is demanding. In this paper, we propose a new algorithm for automatic precision correction by GCP chips and RANSAC(Random Sample Consensus). The algorithm is divided into two major steps. The first one is the automated generation of ground control points. An automated stereo matching based on normalized cross correlation will be used. We have improved the accuracy of stereo matching by determining the size and shape of match windows according to incidence angle and scene orientation from ancillary data. The second one is the robust estimation of mapping function from control points. We used the RANSAC algorithm for this step and effectively removed the outliers of matching results. We carried out experiments with SPOT images over three test sites which were taken at different time and look-angle with each other. Left image was used to select UP chipsets and right image to match against GCP chipsets and perform automatic registration. In result, we could show that our approach of automated matching and robust estimation worked well for automated registration.

실내가스폭발 해석에 관한 연구 (A study on the analysis of domestic gas explosion)

  • 실내에서 가스 폭발시 피해를 예측하기 위해서 폭발 화염면의 전파를 수치해석을 통해 해석했다. 확산방정식에 의해 가스누출에 의한 실내의 가스확산분포를 구했으며, 문헌에서 선택한 누출의 초기조건을 사용했다. 화염온도를 계산하기 위해 각 가스 혼합비에 따른 엔탈피와 화학식에 대한 reduced mechanism을 사용했으며 문헌에서 찾은 각 가스의 농도 별 층류 연소속도를 혼합가스의 층류연소속도에 적용시켰다. k-$\epsilon$ 모델에서 난류 에너지를 층류연소속도와 결합시켜 난류화염 전파속도를 모델링 했다. 화염면의 전파를 분석하기 위해 실내의 위치에는 직각, 화염면의 전파에는 원통좌표계를 사용했다. 유리창의 파손에 의한 화염전파면의 변화에 따른 압력상승 요인을 해석하였으며, 창문의 크기에 따라서 점화위치에 따른 실내 압력상승의 영향이 서로 다르게 나타나는 결과를 얻었다.

위성 탑재용 천문력 생성 프로그램 개발 (Development of Planetary Ephemeris Generation Program for Satellite)

  • 궤도상에 있는 인공위성은 천문력 기반 태양 모델을 사용하여 기준 벡터를 형성한다. 이를 위해 제트 추진 연구소(JPL)에서 개발한 천문력인 DE-Series, 또는 Vallado가 제안한 기준 벡터 생성식을 사용한다. DE-Series는 체비셰프 다항식의 수치 계수를 제공하는데 정밀도가 높다는 장점이 있지만 인공위성의 탑재 컴퓨터의 계산 부담이 있으며, Vallado 방식은 생성식을 통해 태양 벡터를 간단히 구할 수 있지만 낮은 정밀도를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 DE-Series를 통해 얻은 태양의 위치를 체비셰프 다항식으로 Curve fitting하여, 관성좌표계에서의 태양 위치좌표를 구할 수 있는 체비셰프 다항식 계수를 제공하는 프로그램을 개발하였다. 기존 방식에 비해 정밀도를 향상시킬 수 있었으며, 제안된 방법은 고성능, 고정밀 초소형위성 임무에 활용될 수 있다.
