빅데이터 역량 평가를 위한 참조모델 및 수준진단시스템 개발 (An Assessment System for Evaluating Big Data Capability Based on a Reference Model)

  • As technology has developed and cost for data processing has reduced, big data market has grown bigger. Developed countries such as the United States have constantly invested in big data industry and achieved some remarkable results like improving advertisement effects and getting patents for customer service. Every company aims to achieve long-term survival and profit maximization, but it needs to establish a good strategy, considering current industrial conditions so that it can accomplish its goal in big data industry. However, since domestic big data industry is at its initial stage, local companies lack systematic method to establish competitive strategy. Therefore, this research aims to help local companies diagnose their big data capabilities through a reference model and big data capability assessment system. Big data reference model consists of five maturity levels such as Ad hoc, Repeatable, Defined, Managed and Optimizing and five key dimensions such as Organization, Resources, Infrastructure, People, and Analytics. Big data assessment system is planned based on the reference model's key factors. In the Organization area, there are 4 key diagnosis factors, big data leadership, big data strategy, analytical culture and data governance. In Resource area, there are 3 factors, data management, data integrity and data security/privacy. In Infrastructure area, there are 2 factors, big data platform and data management technology. In People area, there are 3 factors, training, big data skills and business-IT alignment. In Analytics area, there are 2 factors, data analysis and data visualization. These reference model and assessment system would be a useful guideline for local companies.

  • This paper shows a general development process for aircraft gas turbine combustors. As a first step for developing the preliminary combustor design program, several combustor sizing methodologies using reference area concepts are reviewed. There are three ways to determine the reference area; 1) combustion efficiency approach, 2) pressure loss approach, 3) velocity assumption approach. The current study shows the comparisons of the calculated results of combustor reference values from the pressure loss and velocity assumption approaches. Further works are required to add iterative steps in the program using more reasonable values of pressure loss and velocities, and to evaluate the sizing results using data for actual combustor performance and sizes.

  • The Wide Area Differential Global Positioning System (WADGPS) that uses a number of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) reference stations are implemented with various types and provide services as it can service a wide range of areas relatively. This paper discusses a constellation design of reference stations and performance analysis of the WADGPS. It presented performance results of static and dynamic users when wide area correction algorithm was applied using eight reference stations.

대구지역 총 부유분진중 중금속 (Trace Metals of Ambient TSP in Daegu Area)

  • This study was carried out to characterize the behavior and sources of particulate trace metal in Daegu city. TSP (Total Suspended Particulate matter) was collected by filters on High Volume Air Sampler from the four areal (reference, residential, commercial, industrial area). The moult were analyzed by AAS after preliminary treatment. The average centration trend of trace metals contained in TSP was shown as follows : Fe > Cu > Pb > Mn > Ni > Cr > Cd. The trace metals showed the highest concentration in the industrial area. This study showed the seasonal variation of trace metals. Fe and Mn showed high concentration in spring, whereas Cr, Ni, Cd and Pb showed high concentration in winter. Also this study showed the regional variation of trace metals. The order of the average concentration of trace metals was : industrial > commercial > residential > reference area. Using Mn as a reference element, the enrichment factor analysis were used for identifying the trace element contributors. The enrichment factors of Cr, Fe < 10 were considered to have a significant dust and soil source and termed nonenriched. Pb, Cd, Cu >>10 were enriched and had a significant fraction which was contributed by anthropogenic sources.

A Low-Noise and Small-Size DC Reference Circuit for High Speed CMOS A/D Converters

  • In a high-speed flash style or a pipelining style analog-to-digital converter (A/D converter), the DC reference fluctuation caused by external noises becomes serious, as the sampling frequency is increased. To reduce the fluctuations in conventional A/D converters, capacitors have been simply used, but the layout area was large. Instead of capacitors, a low-noise and small-size DC reference circuit based on transmission gate (TG) is proposed in this paper. In order to verify the proposed technique, we designed and manufactured a 6-bit 2GSPS CMOS A/D converter. The A/D converter is designed with a 0.18um 1-poly 6-metal n-well CMOS technology, and it consumes 145mW at 1.8V power supply. It occupies the chip area of 977um by 1040um. The measured result shows that SNDR is 36.25 dB and INL/DNL is within 0.5LSB, even though the DC reference fluctuation is serious.

  • Systematic classification system for standardization in telecommunication is essential to the standardization R&D strategy. This paper suggests a new reference model for development of work area and classification scheme related to the telecommunications standardization : Cubic and matrix approach. Standardization Work Areas(SWAs) that are upper level of the reference model are classified by its main role and function reflecting the market trends and user needs. Standardization expertise is lower level scheme, which can be regarded as the different possible layers of standardization to be applied to each one of the SWAs grouped under upper level scheme. A new reference model consists of two planes that are SWAs plane and Standardization layer plane. Finally the reference model for classification of SWAs in telecommunication mapping onto matrix table that row and column are defined by SWAs and standardization layer respectively.

혈관 조영 검사 및 중재적 방사선 시술시 방사선량에 대한 참고 기준치 : 대뇌 중심으로 (Reference Levels for Radiation Dose in Angiography and Interventional Radiology : In the Cerebrum)

  • 혈관 조영 검사 및 중재적 방사선 시술을 통한 환자에게 주어지는 피폭선량에 대해 대뇌를 중심으로 환자 체형을 표준화하여 검사 및 시술 차이에 따른 투시시간, 면적 선량률(kerma area product rate)을 관측하고 참고 기준치를 비교하고자 하였다. 그 결과 질병 분류에 따른 면적 선량률은 지주막하출혈(subarachnoid hemorrhage)이 가장 높았고, 뇌동맥류가 가장 낮았다. 또한 검사 및 시술에 따른 면적 선량률은 양쪽 내경동맥, 양쪽 총경동맥 및 추골동맥으로 하는 방법이 가장 높았으며, guglielmi detachable coil(GDC)이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 따라서 이를 혈관 조영 검사 및 중재적 방사선 시술시 환자 피폭 선량에 대한 참고 기준치로 이용할 수 있을 것이며 향후 환자 피폭 선량 교육과 관리에 유용할 것이라 사료된다.

국내 DGPS 내륙 기준국 전파 측정 및 서비스 분석 (Service analysis and propagation measurement for DGPS land-based reference station in Korea)

  • 본 논문에서는 국내 DGPS 내륙 기준국의 전파 환경을 측정하고 기준국별 서비스 영역과 DGPS 수신 신호의 품질을 분석하였다. DGPS 기준국별로 동절기와 하절기에 전파되는 DGPS 신호의 수신 전계레벨과 신호대 잡음비를 측정하여 서비스 영역이 낮은 기준국의 영향과 영역을 향상하기 위한 방안을 모색하였다. 산악지형과 대지 도전율이 낮은 기준국을 제외한 기준국의 서비스 영역은 약 80 % 이상의 설계 기준 서비스 영역을 제공하고 있으며, 평탄한 지형과 대지 도전율이 양호한 대지의 기준국 설치운영과 송신 안테나의 효율 향상을 통하여 서비스 영역의 향상을 기대할 수 있다.

프랙탈 분석을 통한 비용효과적인 기준 자료추출알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Cost Effective Reference Data Sampling Algorithm Using Fractal Analysis)

  • 분류기법에 의해 원격탐사 영상으로부터 취득된 면속성 수치 지도는 GIS 의사결정자료로 사용되기 이전에 그 정확성에 관한 신뢰도 검증과정을 거쳐야 한다. 분류 정확도를 평가하기 위해서는 오분류행렬(confusion matrix)을 사용하여 전체 정확도, 사용자 정확도, 제작자 정확도 등을 얻게 되는데, 이때 오분류행렬을 구성하기 위해서는 기준자료(reference data)에 대한 표본추출이 이루어져야한다. 기준자료의 표본을 추출하는 기법간의 비교 및 표본 크기를 줄이고자 하는 연구는 많이 이루어져 왔으나, 추출된 표본들간의 거리를 줄임으로서 정확도 평가 비용을 감소시키고자 하는 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 프랙탈 분석을 통하여 기준자료의 표본을 추출하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 기존의 표본추출의 기법과 정확도 차이 및 비용효과 측면을 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과 , 프랙탈 분석을 통하여 표본을 추출하는 기법은 그 정확도 추정에 있어 기존의 표본추출 기법과 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 추출된 화소들이 가까운 저리에 군집에 있어 비용효과측면에서 유리함을 확인하였다.

Performance Analysis of Korean WADGPS Algorithms with NDGPS Data

  • To provide more accurate and reliable positioning and timing services to Korean nationwide users, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of Korea is implementing Korean NDGPS (Nationwide DGPS), which is operational partly. And it also has a plan to construct WADGPS (Wide Area Differential GPS) system using sites and equipments of the NDGPS reference stations. For that, Seoul National University GNSS Laboratory is implementing and testing prototypes of WRS (Wide-area Reference Station) and WMS (Wide-area Master Station). Until now, because there are not enough installed WRSs to be used for computing wide area correction information, we cannot test algorithms of WMS with the data processed actually in WRSs. Therefore to evaluate the performance of the algorithms, we made a MATLAB program which can process RINEX (Receiver INdependent Exchange) format data with WADGPS algorithm. Using that program which consists of WRS, WMS and USER modules, we processed the data collected at NDGPS reference stations, which are saved in RINEX format. In WRS module, we eliminate the atmospheric delay error from the pseudorange measurement, smooth the measurement by hatch filter and calculate pseudorange corrections for each satellite. WMS module collects the processed data from each reference stations to generate the wide area correction information including estimated satellite ephemeris errors, ionospheric delays at each grid point, UDRE (User Differential Range Error), GIVE (Grid Ionosphere Vertical Error) and so on. In USER part, we use the measurements of reference stations as those of users and estimate the corrected users' positions and protection levels (HPL, VPL). With the results of estimation, we analyzed the performance of the algorithms. We assured the estimated UDRE /GIVE values and the protection levels bound the corresponding errors effectively. In this research, we can expect the possible performance of WADGPS in Korea, and the developed modules will be useful to implementation and improvement of the algorithms.
