뻐꾸기 탐색 방법을 활용한 다계층 시스템의 중복 할당 최적화 (Redundancy Allocation in A Multi-Level Series System by Cuckoo Search)

  • 신뢰도는 열차, 비행기, 여객선과 같이 시스템에 한번 고장이 발생한 경우 치명적인 결과로 이어져 시스템에서 중요한 설계 요인으로 고려되어진다. 상당히 높은 신뢰도를 요구하는 시스템에서 시스템의 신뢰도를 향상시키는 방법에는 다양하게 있지만, 부품의 중복은 시스템 신뢰도를 향상시키기 위한 효율적인 방법으로 알려져 있다. 신뢰도를 높이기 위해 부품을 중복하는 경우에는 어떤 부품을 몇 개를 중복해야 하는지를 시스템 신뢰도 측면과 비용, 기타 설계자원 측면에서 고려하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 직렬 구조를 가지는 다계층 시스템에 대한 중복할당의 방법을 다룬다. 다계층시스템에 대한 정의를 설명하고, 제약된 설계비용에서 시스템 신뢰도를 최대화하기 위한 중복 부품의 선정과 중복수량을 최적화하는 방법을 다룬다. 특히, 다계층 시스템에서 경로집합 중에 단 하나의 품목만 중복이 가능한 경우에 대해서 다루며, 유효한 해를 찾기 위한 방법을 제시한다. 최적화를 위해 뻐꾸기 탐색 알고리즘을 적용한다. 뻐꾸기 탐색 알고리즘에서는 다계층시스템의 중복할당 최적화를 위한 탐색절차, 이웃해의 탐색 방법, 해의 표현 등을 제시한다. 수치예제를 통해 기존에 유전알고리즘과 뻐꾸기 탐색 알고리즘의 성능을 비교한다.

  • The wetlands are facing environmental changes such as desiccation that occurs with the passage of time and reduced ecosystem services from wetlands in the city. In order to maintain the ecosystem services provided by wetlands in urban areas, a system thinking about the trade-off phenomenon of ecosystem services occurring as the wetlands undergo environmental changes is needed. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop strategies for wetland design using system thinking approach to enhance the resilience of ecosystem services degraded by the desiccation of wetlands and other disturbances. The objectives of this study include the system boundary and variables. Second, analyzing the dynamics of wetland design strategy. Third, it analyzes the trade-off phenomenon of ecosystem services in terms of the hydrology, hydric soil, and plants strategies to mitigate these effects. Fourth, wetland basic design to improve the resilience of ecosystem services. A wetland in Abuk-Mountain Neighborhood Park, Miryang-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, has been selected as a case study. Causal loop diagrams(CLDs) are used to analyze feedback in the wetland regime. In summary, hydrology, hydric soil, and plants is suggested as system boundaries to design plan. Design strategies for the wetland focused on robustness, redundancy, rapidity, and resourcefulness as a result of CLD analysis are first proposed in order to effectively maintain the wetland regime over the long term. Secondly, in a section related to hydrology, the CLD results show the trade-offs between provisioning-cultural services and regulating services. In order to control these services, a "water cycling system" has been implemented due to its strength in terms of robustness. The CLDs for hydric soil showed the trade-offs between regulating services and supporting services. An "installation of storm drainage for maintaining water levels" was selected due to the strength offered in terms of redundancy and rapidity. The CLDs for plants showed the trade-offs between provisioning - cultural services and regulating services. In order to control the strategic points, the "planting of indigenous vegetation" was suggested given the strength in terms of redundancy. In this study, a wetland design method is proposed that can improve the resilience of wetland ecosystem services by analyzing the dynamics overtime. The results of this research can theoretically be applied to help restore ecosystem services in wetlands using ecological landscape design. In addition, this study will contribute to reducing maintenance costs by improving wetland resilience.

  • Existing CAD systems do nto provide the advanced function for systematic checking of design and drafting errors in mechanical drawings. This paper describes a method for sytematic checking of global parts in mechanical drawings. The checking items are deficiency and redundancy of dimensions, input-errors in dimension figures and symbols, etc. Checking for deficiency and redundancy of global dimensions has been performed applying Graph Theory. This system has been applied to several examples and we have confirmed the feasibility of this checing method.

  • 결함허용 시스템은 다양한 형태의 중복을 사용하여 신뢰도를 향상시킬 수 있는 반면, 시스템의 비용을 크게 증가시킨다. 본 논문은 만족스러운 신뢰도를 갖추면서 추가 비용을 적게 요구하는 결함허용 컴퓨터 시스템의 구조를 결정하기 위한 설계 문제를 정의하고 탐색에 기반을 둔 해결법을 제안한다. 이 때, 탐색 기법이 방문하는 탐색 공간의 크기를 줄이기 위하여 사용되는 세 가지의 유용한 사실을 설명한다. 이를 바탕으로 삼중 모듈 중복(TMR: Triple-Modular-Redundancy), 백업 예비(backup sparing), 그리고 혼합 중복(hybride redundancy) 기법과 같은 결함허용 기법들이 시스템 구조에 적용되었을 때, 탐색 공간을 줄이는 용도로 사용될 수 있는 신뢰도 제약조건을 유도해낸다.

저궤도 위성에서 위성탑재컴퓨터의 재구성 시험 (The OBC Reconfiguration Test on LEO Satellite)

  • 위성탑재컴퓨터(OBC, On-Board Computer)는 인공위성의 자세제어, 임무수행, 지상명령 송수신 및 처리 등 다양한 기능을 수행한다. 위성탑재컴퓨터는 다양한 모듈로 구성되어 있으며, 각 모듈은 매우 중요한 기능을 수행하기 때문에 이중화로 설계되어 있다. 이중화된 모듈은 그 특성에 따라 Hot/Cold Redundancy 정책을 적용하여 운영한다. 각 모듈을 이중화로 설계함으로써 위성의 신뢰성을 높이고, 특정 모듈에 문제가 발생하였을 때 정상적인 모듈로 위성탑재컴퓨터를 재구성을 함으로써 위성의 정상적인 동작을 보장한다. 본 논문에서는 저궤도 위성에서 위성탑재컴퓨터의 재구성 처리방법에 대해 기술하고 해당 기능을 ETB(Electrical Test Bed) 시험환경에서 검증한 내용에 대해 기술한다.

  • As computer system has developed, the break down rate of system has been increased. So, engineers have been interested in reliability of system. General method that is used to heighten reliability of system is Redundancy of System by dual switching control. In this paper, we propose DSCM which can give Redundancy structure in existent PC(Microsoft Window 2000 OS) base system. And we experiment redundancy structure that is applied DSCM to currently using train control in IFC(Interface Computer) system.

협동성과 정보 여분의 팀 성과에 대한 효과 : 시뮬레이션 연구 (The Effects of Cooperativeness and Information Redundancy on Team Performance : A Simulation Study)

  • Cooperativeness within an organization can be conceptualized as the degree of members' willingness to work with others. The simulation study investigates the relationships of cooperativeness with team performance at different levels of information redundancy by using a multi-agents model called Team-Soar. The model consists of a group of four individual Al agents situated in a network, which models a naval command and control team consisting of four members. The study used a $9{\times}3$ design in which agent cooperativeness was manipulated at nine levels by gradually replacing selfish team members with increasing numbers of neutral and cooperative members, while information redundancy was controlled at three different levels(i.e., low, medium, and high). Results of the Team-Soar simulation show that cooperation has positive impacts on team performance. Further, the results reveal that the impact of agent cooperativeness on team performance depends on the amount of information needed to be processed during the decision making process.

A modified tabu search for redundancy allocation problem of complex systems of ships

  • The traditional RAP (Redundancy Allocation Problem) of complex systems has considered only the redundancy of subsystem with homogeneous components. In this paper we extend it as a RAP of complex systems with heterogeneous components which is more flexible than the case of homogeneous components. We model this problem as a nonlinear integer programming problem, find its optimal solution by tabu search, and suggest an example of the efficient reliability design with heterogeneous components. In order to improve the quality of the solution of the tabu search, we suggest a modified tabu search to employ an adaptive procedure (1-opt or 2-opt exchange) to generate the efficient neighborhood solutions. Computational results show that our modified procedure obtains better solutions as the size of problem increases from 30 to 50, even though it requires rather more computing time. With some adjustment of the parameters of the proposed method, it can be applied to the optimal reliability designs of complex systems of ships.

  • Typically, robot system configured by articulated robot manipulator with 1 DOF transfer unit is being applied in automotive manufacturing automation process. Especially, 1 DOF transfer unit is necessary to extend workspace of robot manipulator. In this configuration, because transfer unit works only one direction, robot manipulator only works in one side in case of car body painting or sealing automation process. it is necessary three robot manipulator system at least. In this paper, in order to robot manipulator works effectively in car body sealing automation application, we are suggested omni-directional manipulator system and conducted studying on redundancy resolution method to solve manipulability-optimal problem.
