보건소 이미지 척도 개발 (Development of Public Health Center Image Scale)

  • Background: This study was aim to identify the specific words and to develop the scale for the public health center (PHC) image. Methods: We collected 824 words from the previous studies and by open questions and reduced them by 77 words, then which were rated properly by 355 citizens of Seoul. We examined explanatory factor analysis for 69 words, and examined content validity test and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) for the image structures (4 factors and 16 words). And then we developed the image questionnaire using them through council. We conducted a survey and retested the PHC image scales as the measuring tool targeting 2,000 persons, and compared the inexperience and experience persons for PHC usage. Results: The image structures were consisted of 4 factors and 16 words such as 'trustworthiness' (warm, exemplary, faithful, service-mindedness, beneficial to health), 'fairness' (honesty, clear, consistent, ruled), 'development possibility' (changing, goal-directed, developmental, propulsive), and 'flexibility' (not authoritative, not perfunctory, not rigid) in total. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ values of all factors were above 0.7. As a result of CFA, model fit indexes yielded satisfactory results (root mean square error of approximation [RMSEA] 0.049, goodness of fit index [GFI] 0.937, and adjusted goodness of fit index [AGFI] 0.912). According to the result of retest for measuring tool by using other samples, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ values were above 0.8, and model fit indexes yielded satisfactory results (RMSEA 0.059, GFI 0.952, AGFI 0.933). RMSEAs of the inexperiences and the experiences were each 0.59, 0.68. Conclusion: A reliable, valid, and generalizable scale was created for PHC image.

피동 주입 시험 장치의 척도 해석 및 설계 방법론 연구 (Study on Scaling Analysis and Design Methodology of Passive Injection Test Facility)

  • A design methodology of the modeled test facility to conserve an injection performance of a passive safety injection system is proposed. This safety injection system is composed of a core makeup tank and a safety injection tank. Individual tanks are connected with pressure balance line on the top side and injection line on the bottom side. It is important to conserve the scaled initial injection flow rate and total injection time since this system can be operated by small gravity head without any active pumps. Differential pressure distribution of the injection line induced by the gravity head is determined by the vertical length and elevation of each tank. However, the total injection time is adjustable by the flow resistance coefficient of the injection line. The scaling methodology for the tank and flow resistance coefficient is suggested. A key point of this test facility design is a scaling analysis for the flow resistance coefficient. The scaling analysis proposed on this paper is based on the volume scaling law with the same vertical length to the prototype and can be extended to a model with a reduced vertical length. A set of passive injection test were performed for the tanks with the same volume and the different length. The test results on the initial flow rate and total injection time showed the almost same injection characteristics and they were in good agreement with the design values.

풍동실험에서 상사조건이 실험결과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Similarity Condition for the Test Results in a Wind Tunnel Test)

  • To set the similarity conditions between a prototype usually in the field and its reduced-scale model is a crucial part in model tests. No technique is available to keep perfect similarity for this procedure so far. The experimental work using a wind tunnel is not exceptional. based on the field measurements, the effect of stack parameters and wind conditions on the dispersion of stack plume has been investigated in the laboratory. in this paper intensive methodology is focused on matching these similarities. Due to the limitations to keep perfect similarity conditions some simplifications are involved in common. In this study geometric conditions and kinematic conditions using Froude number and Reynolds number have been con-sidered to keep the similarity conditions required. From the tests it is found that the critical Reynolds number (Recrit) is 2,700 when the height of stack discharge is 50mm. The dispersion has a similar trend for the higher Reynolds number than the critical Reynolds number. It is also found that different Froude number does not make any significant influence for the normalized tracer gas concentrations at the recipient providing the same ratio of the wind speed to the discharge speed. No significant effect of stack diameter is observed in the normalized tracer gas concentrations with the same Frounde number. The similarity conditions therefore used in this study are reliable to simulate the conditions in prototype into the wind tunnel tests.

단축형 사상체질 진단설문지(KS-15)의 문항 축소 연구 (The Reduction of Question Items in Korea Sasang Constitutional Diagnostic Questionnaire (KS-15))

  • Objectives The purpose of this study is to reduce the question items in Korea Sasang Constitutional Diagnostic Questionnaire (KS-15) and to assess the validity. Methods The subjects of this study were 1,553 people who had information on body shape, personality, and symptoms among the data established at the Korean Medicine Data Center. Among them, 155 people were separated into a test group to assess the validity, and the remaining 1,398 were used as training groups for model development. The reduction question items were finally confirmed through discussion by two experts. The model development went through Multinomial Logistic Regression. Results & Conclusions The Percent Correctly Predicted (PCP) in the test group was 60.00% (58.49% in men and 60.78% in women). The PCP of each constitution was 72.6% in Taeeumin, 53.3% in Soeumin, and 50% in Soyangin. The accuracy rate of KS-10 seems to be reasonable considering the ease of use of reduced time required.

전통 초가삼간 가옥의 내진성능 평가 실험(I) : 암반지반 조건 (A Test on the Aseismic Capacity of a Traditional Three-bay-straw-roof House(I) : Rock Site Condition)

  • 우리나라 전통 초가삼간의 1/4 축소모델을 제작하여 암반지반 조건에 대한 내진성능실험을 수행하였다. Nahanni 지진파를 사용하여 최대 가속도 0.1g~0.6g 범위에서 거동을 분석하였다. 탄성한계에서 초가삼간의 고유진동수는 장방향의 경우 약 1.66Hz, 단방향의 경우 215Hz이다. 탄성한계에서의 감쇠비는 약 7%이다. 수평방향의 가속도응답은 입력에 비해 감소하며 입력가속도 수준이 증가할수록 감소율이 증가한다. 이는 사개맞춤으로 만들어진 목조 프레임의 비선형.비탄성 특성 때문이다. 전통 초가삼간 가옥은 고진동수가 지배적인 암반지반에서 매우 큰 내진성능을 나타내었다.

Effects of loading conditions and cold joint on service life against chloride ingress

  • RC (Reinforced Concrete) members are always subjected to loading conditions and have construction joints when constructed on a big scale. Service life for RC structure exposed to chloride attack is usually estimated through chloride diffusion test in sound concrete, however the test is performed without consideration of effect of loading and joint. In the present work, chloride diffusion coefficient is measured in concrete cured for 1 year. In order to evaluate the effect of applied load, cold joint, and mineral admixtures, OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) and 40%-replaced GGBFS (Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag) concrete are prepared. The diffusion test is performed under loading conditions for concrete containing cold joint. Investigating the previous test results for 91 days-cured condition and the present work, changing diffusion coefficients with applied stress are normalized considering material type and cold joint. For evaluation of service life in RC continuous beam with 2 spans, non-linear analytical model is adopted, and service life in each location is evaluated considering the effects of applied stress, cold joint, and GGBFS. From the work, varying service life is simulated under various loading conditions, and the reduced results due to cold joint and tensile zone are quantitatively evaluated. The effect of various conditions on diffusion can provide more quantitative evaluation of chloride behavior and the related service life.

샌드위치 패널의 화재확대 방지시스템 개발을 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experiment Study for Flame Spread Prevention System of Snadwich Panels)

  • The sandwich panel is commonly used domestically because it's less costly and easier to handle. But fires have frequently occurred in buildings employing sandwich panels, such as the fires in Eecheon cold storage and in Gwangju Pyungdong industrial zone. Sandwich panels with steel plates on their surface prevent fire water from penetrating to the fire source, which makes it difficult to extinguish a fire in a timely manner. Toxic gas generated from some insulation material leads to serious loss of life and property. This study is intended to develop an extinguishing system for sandwich panels, thereby reducing the fire risk. Fire water and volume were determined in the wake of the study on the structure of a sandwich panel extinguishing system, and improvement and testing of the fire characteristics of the sandwich panel. Based on such study and test, a fire model test was conducted. Consequently, the sandwich panel with extinguishing system was proven to have a reduced fire risk, compared to traditional or fire retardant panels.

기초지반의 강성이 보강토 옹벽의 거동에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Foundation Stiffness on Behavior of Soil-reinforced Segmental Retaining Walls)

  • 본 논문에서는 기초지반의 강성이 블록식 보강토 옹벽의 거동에 미치는 영향에 대한 내용을 다루었다. 기초지반의 강성이 블록식 보강토 옹벽의 거동에 미치는 근본적인 메카니즘을 고찰하기 위해 보강토 옹벽에 대한 축소모형실험을 수행하였으며 축소모형실험 결과의 타당성을 검토하고 모형실험에서 다룰 수 없었던 다양한 조건을 고려함과 아울러서 현장옹벽 응력수준의 거동을 고찰하기 위해 가상의 현장옹벽에 대해 유한요소해석을 이용한 매개변수 연구를 수행하였다. 모형실험 및 유한요소해석 결과에 의하면 기초지반의 강성이 감소할수록 벽체의 변위는 현저히 증가하며, 이러한 벽체변위 증가 현상은 보강토체 내부변형보다는 보강토체의 강체 거동으로 인해 야기되는 메카니즘을 보이는 것으로 나타나 기초지반에 관련된 문제를 외적안정성의 개념에서 다루고 있는 현 설계기준은 타당한 것으로 나타났다. 본 논문에서는 모형실험 및 유한요소해석 결과를 종합하여 실무적 측면에서의 중요성을 다각적으로 고찰하였다.

근접 굴착시 흙막이벽 버팀대 선행하중 재하에 따른 터널의 거동 (Behavior of Tunnel Due to Adjacent Ground Excavation with Pre-loading on Braced Wall)

  • 큰 선행하중을 가할 수 있는 새로운 선행하중 시스템을 개발하였으며, 이를 적용하여 근접굴착 시 기존 터널의 안정성을 확보하는 방안을 연구하였다. 흙막이 벽체의 수평변위가 거의 생기지 않도록 설계축력 이상의 선행하중을 가하였다. 이를 위해 선행하중을 가하지 않는 경우와 선행하중을 가하는 경우에 대해 축소율 1/10인 실 대형 시험을 실시하였다. 수치해석은 선행하중을 가하지 않는 경우와, 선행하중을 설계축력의 50%와 100%를 가하는 경우, 흙막이 벽체 변위를 거의 발생시키지 않는 크기의 선행하중을 가하는 경우에 대해 유한요소법(FEM) 프로그램인 PLAXIS를 사용하여 수행하였다. 그 결과 선행하중을 설계축력 이상으로 적용시켜 흙막이 벽체변위를 억제시켰을 때 벽체 배면 지반에 있는 터널의 안정성이 크게 향상되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

고유진동수 조절이 가능한 액체댐퍼의 건물응답 제어실험 (Experimental Verification of a Liquid Damper with Changeable Natural Frequency for Building Response Control)

  • 본 연구진은 최근 U자 형태인 액체댐퍼의 수직관을 다수의 셀(사각 기둥)로 나누어 셀 상부를 개폐함에 따라 다양한 고유진동수를 쉽게 재현하는 새로운 멀티셀 액체댐퍼를 제시하였다. 이러한 댐퍼를 1층 건물 모형에 설치하여 진동대 실험을 수행하여 건물응답이 감소되는 것을 검증하였다. 64층의 풍응답인 가속도를 제어할 수 있도록 댐퍼를 설계하기 위하여 건물을 1자유도계로 축소하였다. 가속도 기반 상사비인 1/20를 적용하여 1층 건물 모형과 새로운 댐퍼를 제작하였다. 설계 진동수인 0.65Hz가 구현되도록 모형건물의 질량과 강성을 쉽게 조절할 수 있도록 탈부착식으로 제작하였다. 모형건물은 중량을 부담하는 질량부와 하부에 스프링과 LM guide가 설치된 구동부로 나누어서 제작되었다. 18개의 셀을 가지는 액체댐퍼를 제작하여 고유진동수 조절 범위가 0.65Hz~0.81Hz인 것을 파악하였다. 대형 진동대에 설치한 모형건물의 일방향 가진을 통하여 모형의 응답을 측정하고 모형상부에 멀티셀 액체댐퍼가 설치되었을 경우 모형의 응답을 측정하여 비교하였다. 진동대 가속도를 입력과 모형건물의 가속도를 출력으로 하는 전달함수를 통해 결과를 나타내었다. 예상한 바와 같이 멀티셀 액체댐퍼의 고유진동수를 건물의 진동수에 동조시켰을 경우 건물의 가속도 응답이 감소함을 알 수 있었다.
