  • Owing to varying clinical definitions of anastomotic stricture following esophageal reconstruction, its reported incidence rate varies from 10% to 56%. Strictures adversely impact patients' quality of life. Risk factors, such as the anastomosis method, leakage, ischemia, neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy, and underlying disease have been mentioned, but conflicting information has been reported. Balloon dilation is regarded as a safe and effective treatment method for patients with benign anastomotic strictures. Reoperations are seldom required. The etiology and management of anastomotic strictures are reviewed in this article.

  • Subpectoral breast reconstruction using implants and meshes have been used widely in Europe, the United States and the United Kingdom. Although this technique has several advantages, animation deformity is a well-documented problem. We propose a new grading system to classify breast animation in patients undergoing subpectoral implant based breast reconstruction. We also discuss different techniques to avoid and correct animation deformity.

  • The purpose of this study is analyzing the frequent defect about each inspection part of Pre-qualification of residential building reconstruction and finding the cause of occurrence so that can supply a solution of the problem during the plalnning and constructure. The frequent defects are naturally following the deterioration and more occur in the structure body than a skin. The meaning that supply the cause and the managing method for preventing frequent defects about each inspection part is as follows. To prevent the defects, it is needed that the choice of the appropriate materials, giving a sufficient space for facilities, reliable constructure for the part of expecting the defects. The quality of life will go up due to making a good dwelling environment and extending the life cycle of structures from the inspection and managing the part of expecting defects.

  • This paper studies medical data classification methods, comparing decision tree and system reconstruction analysis as applied to heart disease medical data mining. The data we study is collected from patients with coronary heart disease. It has 1,723 records of 71 attributes each. We use the system-reconstruction method to weight it. We use decision tree algorithms, such as induction of decision trees (ID3), classification and regression tree (C4.5), classification and regression tree (CART), Chi-square automatic interaction detector (CHAID), and exhausted CHAID. We use the results to compare the correction rate, leaf number, and tree depth of different decision-tree algorithms. According to the experiments, we know that weighted data can improve the correction rate of coronary heart disease data but has little effect on the tree depth and leaf number.

  • Fibrous dysplasia is a relatively rare disease but the management would be quite challenging. Because this is not a malignant tumor, the preservation of the facial contour and the various functions seems to be important in treatment planning. Until now the facial bone reconstruction with autogenous bone would be the standard. Although the autogenous bone would be the ideal one for facial bone reconstruction, donor site morbidity would be the inevitable problem in many cases. Meanwhile, various types of allogenic and alloplastic materials have been also used. However, facial bone reconstruction with many alloplastic material have produced no less complications including infection, exposure, and delayed wound healing. Because the 3D printing technique evolved so fast that 3D printed titanium implant were possible recently. The aim of this trial is to try to restore the original maxillary anatomy as possible using the 3D printing model, based on the mirrored three dimensional CT images based on the computer simulation. Preoperative computed tomography (CT) data were processed for the patient and a rapid prototyping (RP) model was produced. At the same time, the uninjured side was mirrored and superimposed onto the traumatized side, to create a mirror-image of the RP model. And we molded Titanium mesh to reconstruct three-dimensional maxillary structure during the operation. This prefabricated Titanium-mesh implant was then inserted onto the defected maxilla and fixed. Three dimensional printing technique of titanium material based on the computer simulation turned out to be successful in this patient. Individualized approach for each patient could be an ideal way to restore the facial bone.

  • Recently, Apartment Reconstruction Projects are performing only with the basis of profitability without establishing either certain criteria or standard guideline. In addition, the profitability information contained in a disposal plan tends to be considered as a fixed value, and it is frequently changeable because reconstruction projects have such a long time to complete and many participants with respective interests. As mentioned above, the new approach needs to be developed which covers the limitation of the unvaried one. Consequently, this study focuses on the probability approach considering not only variances that affect the profit, but the relationship between profit and risk, and then is modeling. This study is anticipated to improve the reliability and accuracy of expected value as well as apply to the decision making criteria quantitively about potentially hidden risks in that projects.

  • Reconstruction and remodeling have been introduced as a part of renewal (redevelopment) projects for old apartments built after the mid-1970's and government policies for revitalizing each project has been changed continually. However, the frequent changes of the policies have caused conflicts among business entities in selecting business methods. The conflicts from their early stages have made serious problems in the entire business process. Therefore, this study deduced factors of business selection by applying comparison analysis between the two business projects on how certain factors have an influence on selecting reconstruction and remodeling business projects. Based on the analysis, four categories and 26 factors were finally selected. After then, the priority of each selection factor was deduced through the AHP method and PROMETHEE method used for analysis of relative importance and impact values regarding to the business selection.

  • The purpose of this study is to induce a indicator related to the response, handling and management which are appeared on each step of business enforcement in housing reconstruction projects. Then, it aims to appropriately and reasonably resolve the conflicts of reconstruction business with relevant subjects. These projects physician satisfaction and continual business was going to have the impact that any analysis of the structure in an evaluation. In addition, this study analyzes the impact structure on the business satisfaction and a intention for continuous business through this evaluation. This study sets a operational hypothesis in order to verify the relationship between the variables. then, it creates the structural model by using the Smart PLS 3.0. After analyzing the impact structure by using total 252 samples, this study adopts the final hypothesis which shows (+) path coefficient as set in the hypothesis and test statistic above 1.65. In result, six out of the nine hyphothesis are adopted. then, The 'Response to conflict' which affects the 'Management to conflict(H1)' has a path coefficient of 0.618. In addition, the 'Handling to conflict' which affects the 'Management to conflict(H2)' has a path coefficient of 0.150. The 'Handling to conflict' which affects the satisfaction of 'business' has a path coefficient of 0.101. and the 'management to conflict' which affects the satisfaction of 'business(H7)' has a path coefficient of 0.644. In addition, the 'Intention for continuous business(H8)' shows a path coefficient of 0.258. Finally, The satisfaction of 'business' which affects the 'intention for continuous business(H9)' has a path coefficient of 0.391.

  • It is a generally known fact that the patient can experience mouth opening limitation, mandibular deviation and malocclusion as a result of injury of tissues around the articular disc and complications even after successful open reduction surgery for fractured mandibular condyle. We have experienced a rare case of reconstruction using metallic condylar prostheses for a patient with complications resulted by unsuccessful management of fractured mandibular condyle. The case strongly suggested to us that careful selection of treatment methods should be taken for patient with fractured mandibular condyle. Accordingly, we are presenting a case in conjunction with reviews of fractured mandibular condyle.

  • Existing methods for image segmentation using diffusion can't preserve contour information, or noises with high gradients become more salient as the umber of times of the diffusion increases, resulting in over-segmentation when applied to watershed. This thesis proposes a method for image segmentation by applying morphology operation together with robust anisotropic diffusion. For an input image, transformed into LUV color space, closing by reconstruction and anisotropic diffusion are applied to obtain a simplified image which preserves contour information with noises removed. With gradients computed from this simplifed images, watershed algorithm is applied. Experiments show that color images are segmented very effectively without over-segmentation.
