Background and objective: This study was conducted to understand urban residents' perception of indoor plants in order to assist in the preparation of guidelines for growing plants indoors. Methods: Questionnaires were distributed to urban residents currently growing plants or with experience of growing plants. The data of 247 respondents were subjected to analysis to assess their level of interest and ability with regard to growing plants, and their recognition of the selection and function of plants. Results: Respondents showed high interest in growing plants at a level of 6.77, but their ability was moderate. This suggests that information regarding plant maintenance should be provided to urban residents. They recognized the function of plants for improving the environment as important, and expected that indoor plants would improve their mood and visual experience. Satisfaction with growing plants was high from an emotional perspective. They recognized that the function of air purification function was important even if the actual performance or effect was not great. This indicates that the function of air purification should be emphasized more. As the result of the IPA, plants should be selected in consideration of morphological characteristics such as leaf, flower and fruit, and continuously managed to maintain their characteristics. Since the performance of pots was less satisfactory compared to their importance, they should be selected so that they harmonize better with plants and are of the appropriate size to fit the space. The type of plants is an important factor in plant selection in order to perform an environmental function, and the flower color and pot size are important in terms of aesthetics and healing. Conclusion: When horticulture information on indoor plants is provided to urban residents, first, it should be provided to satisfy the functions of the plants required by urban residents and in order to promote and maintain the proper growth of plants. Second, various contents that utilize components should be developed to achieve plant function so that resident can determine the function of plants and select the type, quantity, and shape of plants to achieve the desired function.

This study started with the question, "Is the cost of landscape construction work in residential areas measured by public enterprises, 'in response to the needs of consumers?" The study analyzed whether the landscape construction expenditure is being introduced at an appropriate ratio according to the value the residents have regarding landscape elements. Following this, research was conducted for the purpose of providing basic data for improving the efficiency of formulating apartment landscape construction costs in the future. This research proceeded based on a questionnaire survey of residents of apartments, and the content of the questionnaire used frequency analysis and descriptive statistics research methods. To take a look at a comparative analysis of value recognition, in particular, a comparative analysis was performed based on the actual input cost based on the ratio of landscape elements by layer. Conclusions were found as follows: First, the degree of interest in the apartment landscape of the tenants was high, and the value of the landscape was high but realistic satisfaction appeared comparatively low. Second, the awareness of residents' values regarding landscape elements appeared to give "plantings" more value than "facilities". Thirdly, as a result of a mutual comparison between the values recognized by the resident regarding landscape elements and the construction input fee, depending on the landscape elements, it appeared that there is a difference in the ratio of up to 52 times from 1.25. Fourth, the fact that there is a difference in the relative proportion of value recognition and inputting construction cost indicates that it is not possible to respond to the needs of tenants during the construction cost development process. It also shows that the utility of inputting construction costs is low. Therefore, a macro-level examination such as reflecting the existing inflation rate is necessary to develop the efficient landscape construction cost of apartment such as the awareness of the value of the residents regarding landscape elements, out of the customary construction cost formulation method based on the microscopic dimensions of the consumer side.
The 21st century directs designomics to achieve wealth by designing old beyond a simple recognition of the importance of culture. One of the representative local cultures of Gyeongnam is Gaya culture. The Gaya period had over 600 years history with rich and excellent iron manufacturing skill and advanced pottery culture. It is the very time to reevaluate the importance of Gaya equivalent to the Three Kingdoms in our ancient history which was has been so far ignored and isolated. In order to develop unique and excellent culture of Gaya as local fashion cutural goods, questionnaire survey on the recognition of Gaya culture and cultural goods purchasing status had been conducted to target visitors of Representative National Museum. Data Analysis Using SPSS 18.0 Win was performed with frequency analysis and t-test. As to the questionnaire survey, important criteria for purchasing in case of buying cultural goods could be found and the residents in Gyeongnam had higher recognition of developing cultural goods by the motif of Gaya relics. 'Mounted vessel in the shape of warrior on horseback(12.4%)' and 'Chariot wheel-shaped Pottery(10.8%)' were selected the most suitable motif, 'Cellphone strap(11.0%)' and 'key holder(10.2%), 'cup (7.2%)'were selected the most suitable item of cutural goods. These will be actively reflected in the development of fashion cultural goods design applying Gaya relics.

Second, those who were female and who were more concerned about periodontal health were more likely to recognize coverage of dental scaling. Third, those who were female and who were more concerned about periodontal health were also more satisfied with the coverage. It is therefore necessary to make PRs by using teaching media positively as well as by giving correct information with the objective of improving recognition of dental scaling on a continuous basis.
The recent emergence of smart phones, wearable devices, and even the IoT concept made it possible for various objects to interact one another anytime and anywhere. Among many of such smart services, a smart home service typically requires a large number of sensors to recognize the residents' activities. For this reason, the ideas on activity recognition using the data obtained from those sensors are actively discussed and studied these days. Furthermore, plenty of sensors are installed in order to recognize activities and analyze their patterns via data mining techniques. However, if many of these sensors should be installed for IoT smart home service, it raises the issue of cost and energy consumption. In this paper, we proposed a new method for reducing the number of sensors for activity recognition in a smart environment, which utilizes the principal component analysis and clustering techniques, and also show the effect of improvement in terms of the activity recognition by the proposed method.
This study, based on stages of behavioral change, was aimed at suggesting strategies for the adoption of moderate drinking habits for community-based health education designed to help rural people. An interview survey was conducted during the period from March 4 to April 5, 2002 by sampling 467 rural people living in 6 villages covered by a public healthcare clinic. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1. The perceived non-moderate drinkers were less prepared for behavioral change. 2. The heavier drinking habits were ‘drinking alone’, ‘meals accompanied by drinking’ and ‘drinking twice or more at a time’. The agricultural off-season and the custom of brewing liquor at home were negative environmental factors for moderate drinking. 3. The predisposing factors affecting moderate drinking were recognition of health, expectation of the drinking effect, etiquette encouraging overdrinking and control of drinking. The reinforcing factors were stress from ordinary life and perception of being loved. The enabling factor was accessibility to the public healthcare clinic. 4. Rural residents are less motivated to participate in health education for moderate drinking. Based on the above findings, health education strategies for each stage can be suggested as follows: 1) Pre-contemplation stage: improvement of perception, motivation, sharing of experiences, and reawakening. 2) Contemplation/preparation stag e: measurement of value, departure from the inertia against a change, formation of a habit, and reinforcement of the behavior. 3) Action/maintenance stage: creation of a social atmosphere, encouragement of participation, change of life style, and improvement of environment.
Re-visitation have an effect on dependent variables of regional tourism demand model. This study focused on the re-visitation impacts of consideration on sustainable tourism development of tourists as a new factors of tourism. Based on literature reviews, 11 variables were selected, a questionnaire survey was given to 406 tourists divided into 5 tourism sites at Chuncheon city, and logit model and probit model were used for analysis. The fitness levels of two models were very significant(p=0.0000). The study results suggest that the likelihood of the rural tourist to make a return visit is influenced by recognition of sustainable tourism, purchase of souvenir and farm produce, visitation of regional shops, conversation with regional residents, residents' participation on development, age and marriage. The results of such re-visitation demand can provide information for regional development strategies. The approach to re-visitation research impacts of consideration on sustainable tourism development is expected to become a useful foundation in studying on sustainable regional development.
