NPS-WET 모형을 이용한 인공습지의 수질정화효과 분석 (Analysis of Water-quality Improvement Efficiency of Constructed Wetland Using NPS-WET Model)

  • A combination system of catch canal and constructed wetland was designed and suggested to improve water quality in gagricultural region of lower Dong-jin river basin. In order to evaluate an water quality improvement efficiency of the designed combination system, the NPS-WET model was applied in this study. Simulation result of the NPS-WET shown that the nutrient load removal rate of constructed wetland was BOD, T-N, T-P and SS was 30.7~39.0%, 46~60%, 40.7~57.0% and 68.2~74.7%, respectively. Nutrients reduction of constructed wetland was higher in growing season than winter season because vital activity of microorganism, macrophyte and algae was augmented with high air and water temperature. Effluents from constructed wetland can affect water-quality of catch canal drains, especially, water-quality on junction point to Dong-jin river. Water-quality improvement in low-flowed catch canal (Un-san) was more significant than in high-flowed catch canal (Won-pyeong). In conclusion, a feasible design of constructed wetland is necessary to treat large quantity of receiving water. The NPS-WET is useful tool for assessing water-quality improvement efficiency using constructed wetland.

무선 전력 전송용 고효율 공진기 설계 (Design of a High Efficiency Resonator for Wireless Power Transfer)

  • 본 논문에서는 자기 공명 방식의 무선 전력 전송 시스템에서 효율 향상 방안을 제시하였다. 공진 코일은 헬리컬과 스파이럴 형태가 결합된 구조를 제안하였으며, 소스와 디바이스 코일은 단일 원형 루프 형태로 설계하였다. 측정 결과, 송수전 코일이 120 mm의 거리로 이격되어 있을 때 헬리컬과 스파이럴 구조를 결합한 공진기는 기존의 헬리컬 구조의 공진기보다 효율이 13 % 향상되는 결과를 보였다. 뿐만 아니라, 크기도 기존 공진기에 비해 33 % 소형화할 수 있었다.

  • The application of solar energy in residential building is general and natural in today. And application methods of solar thermal energy is divided in two kind of form, single evacuated tube and flat-plate form. Then in this study, the efficiency of single evacuated tube and flat-plate system is compared by total and effective area considering the time receiving the solar radiation between 24 hours and the specific time(10:00~15:00). As a result of the experiment, single evacuated tube and flat-plate collector's efficiency is varied by the quantity of solar radiation. And especially, the flat-plate system is more affected by outdoor temperature. Therefore the application of solar thermal system should be considered the solar radiation and outdoor temperature.

Effects of Replacement of Fish Meal with Poultry By-product Meals on Apparent Digestibility, Body Composition and Protein Efficiency Ratio in a Practical Diets for Rainbow Trout, Onchorynchus mykiss

  • This study examined the replacement of the fish meal (FM) with commercial poultry by-product meal (PBM) in practical diets for rainbow trout (Onchorynchus mykiss, Walbaum). Five isocaloric and isonitrogenous diets containing levels 0 (control), 10, 20, 30 and 40% of PBM as a replacement for FM were fed to three replicate groups of rainbow trout with a initial weight $34.50{\pm}0.43g$ (mean${\pm}$SE). Protein efficiency ratio (PER) of diets containing PBM up to 20% were similar to the control while significantly lower values were obtained from the groups receiving higher levels of PBM (p<0.05). Apparent protein digestibility coefficients (ADCs) were significantly lower than that of the control group when PBM was included at level of 20% or more. Similarly, significantly lower values were observed with diets containing 30 and 40% PBM in terms of dry matter, organic matter, ether extract, ash and energy digestibility (p<0.05). Dietary treatments did not significantly affect the body composition of the fish in terms of dry matter, crude protein, ether extract and ash. In conclusion, PBM in a proportion of 20% may replace about 40 % of FM in rainbow trout diet without significant impairment grow.

전자기 유도 방식 무선 전력 전송을 위한 다중 탭을 갖는 평판형 스파이럴 안테나 (A Planar Spiral Antenna of Multi-Tabs for Wireless Power Transmission of Inductive Coupling)

  • 본 논문에서는 저주파 자기 유도(magnetic induction)를 이용한 무선 전력 전송 시스템을 위한 새로운 다중탭을 갖는 평판형 스파이럴 안테나 구조를 제시한다. 제안된 안테나는 사각 스파이럴 안테나와 같은 기존 상용안테나에 비해 높은 전송 효율을 가지고, 안테나 개구면에서 고르게 전력을 전송할 수 있다. 검증을 위해 132kHz 저주파에서 자기 유도를 이용한 무선 전력 전송을 위한 송수신 안테나 시제품을 제작하였다. 송신 안테나는 안테나 개구면에서 최대한 많은 양을 균일하게 송신할 수 있도록, 3중 탭을 갖도록 하였다. 수신 안테나는 수신부의 크기를 소형화하기 위해, 2중 탭을 갖도록 설계하였으며, 탭을 위해 단면을 사용한 경우와 직렬로 양면을 사용한 두 경우에 대해 설계 제작하였다. 측정 결과, 제안한 송수신 안테나는 기존의 안테나보다 $3{\sim}10$ dB 이상 큰 전력을 송수신할 수 있었다.

지방의료원의 재정 및 운영효율성에 영향을 미치는 요인 (An Analysis of Factors Affecting Financial and Operating Efficiency at Regional Public Hospital)

  • Background: Financial efficiency in monetary units and operational efficiency in non-monetary units are separately classified and evaluated. This is done to prevent the duplication of monetary units and non-monetary units in inputs and outputs. In addition, analyses are conducted to determine the factors that affect each aspect of efficiency. To prevent duplication of monetary and non-monetary units in inputs and outputs, financial efficiency, consisting of monetary units, and operational efficiency, comprising non-monetary units, are separately classified and evaluated. Furthermore, an analysis is conducted to identify the factors that affect each aspect of efficiency. Methods: This study conducted a panel analysis of 34 regional public hospitals and influencing factors on efficiency for 5 years from 2015 to 2019. Financial efficiency and operational efficiency were calculated through data envelopment analysis. Moreover, multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify the factors that influence both financial efficiency and operational efficiency. Results: The factors that affect financial efficiency include the number of medical institutions within the treatment area and the ratio of patients receiving medical care. Additionally, operational efficiency is influenced by the type of medical institution, the number of medical institutions within the treatment area, and the number of nursing positions per 100 beds. Conclusion: In order for regional public hospitals to faithfully fulfill their functions and roles as regional base public hospitals, several measures are necessary. Firstly, continuous monitoring and reasonable support are required to ensure efficient operation and performance. Secondly, a financial support plan tailored to the characteristics of local medical centers is needed. Additionally, local medical centers should strive to enhance their own efficiency.

Evaluation of the Photon Transmission Efficiency of Light Guides Used in Scintillation Detectors Using LightTools Code

  • Background: To optimize the photon transmission efficiency of light guides used in scintillation detectors, LightTools code, which can construct and track light, was used to analyze photon transmission effectiveness with respect to light guides thickness. Materials and Methods: This analysis was carried out using the commercial light guide, N-BK 7 Optical Glass by SCHOTT, as a model for this study. The luminous exitance characteristic of the LYSO scintillator was used to analyze the photon transmission effectiveness according to the thickness of the light guide. Results and Discussion: The results of the simulations showed the effectiveness of the photon transmission according to the thickness of the light guide, which was found to be distributed from 13.38% to 33.57%. In addition, the photon transmission efficiency was found to be the highest for light guides of 4 mm of thickness and a receiving angle of $49^{\circ}$. Conclusion: Through such simulations, it is confirmed that photon transmission efficiency depends on light guide thickness and subsequent changes in the internal angle of reflection. The aim is to produce an actual light guide based on these results and to evaluate its performance.

고압 LNG 배관망의 특성 및 비용절감 효과 (Features and Cost Reduction Effect of High Pressure LNG Pipeline Network)

  • 최근 유가의 고공행진 때문에 한국은 해외 에너지 자원개발뿐만 아니라 에너지 소비를 줄이기 위한 국가적 정책으로 기존 설비의 에너지 효율을 증가시키는 방안을 모색하는 것이 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 본 연구는 이런 국가적 사안에 부합하고자 인천생산기지 고압 LNG 배관망에 대하여 수정유량방정식을 사용한 Newton Method로 접근하였고, 유창조절밸브(FCV)에 의해 지배적인 영향을 받는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 고압펌프는 유량조절밸브 50%의 개도율에서 최고효율을 보여 주었고, 고압배관망 내에서 배관저항곡선은 LNG 헤드가 1,500m 이상이 되어야만 토출이 가능한 것을 보였다. 고압펌프의 운전점으로부터 운전비용을 산출하였고, 최고 효율시 운전비용과 비교하여 운전비용을 절감할 수 있는 금액을 산출하였다. 특히 일간 시간대별 운전비용 절감액뿐만 아니라 연간 일별 운전비용 절감액을 산출하였으며, 그 결과 고압배관망은 연간 138백만원을 절감할 수 있다. 이것은 연간 고압펌프 1기당 9,823천원을 절감할 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 복잡한 고압 LNG 배관망에서 고압펌프의 운전특성과 운전비용 절감효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 이것은 미시적으로 생산기지의 효율적 미래운영에 대한 기여와 더불어 거시적으로 국가 에너지 경쟁력 제고에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

양방향으로 동작하는 DC-DC Converter를 이용하는 무선 전력 송수신기 개발 (Development of Wireless Power Transceiver with Bi-directional DC-DC Converter)

  • 본 논문에서는 무선으로 전력을 수신할 뿐만 아니라 송신 할 수 있는 기능을 수행하는 무선 전력 송수신기를 위한 양방향으로 동작하는 DC-DC converter를 제안하였다. 일반적으로 무선 전력 송수신기의 경우 2개의 DC-DC converter와 이로 인한 2개의 외부 인덕터가 필요하지만 제안된 DC-DC converter를 적용하여 1개의 DC-DC converter와 1개의 외부 인덕터로 무선 전력 송수신이 가능하도록 하여 전체 시스템의 크기를 줄였다. 제안된 양방향으로 동작하는 DC-DC converter는 $0.35{\mu}m$ BCDMOS 공정을 이용하여 제작하였으며 무선 전력 수신 상황에서 강압 converter로 동작하여 3W의 출력 상황에서 91%의 효율을 가지며 무선 전력 송신 상황에서는 승압 converter로 동작하여 3W의 출력 상황에서 90%의 효율을 갖는다. 양방향으로 동작하는 DC-DC converter와 효율을 극대화 할 수 있는 제안된 기법들을 적용한 무선 전력 송수신기는 수신 상황에서 81.7%, 송신 상황에서 76.5%의 효율을 갖는다.

학교시설 민자 사업의 효율화 방안 -공공서비스 시설의 복합화 중심으로- (Programs for Higher Efficiency of Private Sector Investment in Educational Facilities -With Focus on Combining of Public Service Facilities-)

  • School is a basic and the most fundamental facility of city planning just like other basic public facilities including the village office. Every plan is established on the basis of school. However, the problems such as the population reduction resulting from the nuclear family-zation and low birth rate, employment and welfare of the aged people resulting from "the old aged society", and the infant nursing and education resulting from a rapid increase of the working couples become notable and accordingly more requirements are being made. Reflecting this trend, the concept and operation system should be changed. Up to now, the BTL projects of the educational facilities are gaining a reputation of being efficient in terms of national budget running, but at the same time receiving negative reputation in terms of budget saving under the civil creativity and efficiency. Through upgrading the private sector investment projects into the BTO+BTL system and further into the BTO(Build Transfer Operate), we can accomplish the original goals of the private sector investment projects, and can make the education budget operation more efficient, and can greatly improve the education environments. However, we should not underestimate in this process that these facilities should not negatively affect the education environments. In any situation, the owners of schools are students.
