Web based RMS Design and Implementation (웹 기반 RMS 설계 및 구현)

  • The RMS(Remote Monitoring System) is generalized to adopt in many automatic system by progress of industrial and technical growth. RMS has been developed from simple status monitoring system to realtime control system with multimedia interface. This study is to design and develop monitoring system that client is able to monitor and control target system on web browser. The RMS is consist of 4 functional modes, which is monitoring mode, control mode, setup mode and video mode. Monitoring mode is to observe remote target system with realtime on web browser. Control mode is to change target system status in monitoring mode. Setup mode is to change system variable in control mode. Video mode is to monitor target system environment visually by web camera. This RMS is easy to access and manage target system, and so useful to monitor remote automatic system and closing site.

Large-Scale Realtime Crowd Simulation Using Image-Based Affordance and Navigation Potential Fields (이미지 기반의 유도장과 항해장을 활용한 실시간 대규모 군중 시뮬레이션)

  • In large-scale crowd simulations, it is very important for the decision-making system of manipulating interactive behaviors to minimize the computational cost for controlling realistic behaviors such as collision avoidance. In this paper, we propose a large-scale realtime crowd simulation method using the affordance and navigation potential fields such as attractive and repulsive forces of electromagnetic fields. In particular, the model that we propose locally handles the realistic interactions between agents, and thus radically reduces the cost of expensive computation on interactions which has been the most problematic in crowd simulation. Our method is widely applicable to the expression and analysis of various crowd behaviors that are needed in behavior control in computer games, crowd scenes in movies, emergent behaviors of evacuation, etc.

Realization of Sensory-Based Biped Walking

  • This paper describes realtime walking based on sensory information. In this study, a biped robot having a trunk is considered. The motion of the trunk balances the whole body of the biped robot while the legs locomotes on the ground. How to calculate the motion of the trunk is proposed using the ZMP concept. Also, an online walking pattern is discussed which is generated in realtime on the basis of walking parameters selected by visual and auditory sensors. In order to realize biped walking, we have constructed a forty-three degrees of freedom biped robot, WABIAN-RV (WAseda BIped humANoid robot-Revised V). Its height is 1.89[m] and its total weight is 131.4[kg]. Various walking experiments using WABIAN-RV are conducted on the plane, and the validity of its mechanism and control is verified.

  • 본 논문은 IEEE 802.11 네트워크 환경에서 다중 노드를 하나의 클라스터링 시스템으로 구축하고, UCC(User Created Contents)와 같은 사용자 멀티미디어 데이터를 모든 노드가 실시간으로 공유할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 응용계층의 새로운 패러다임 모델을 제안 하였고, 이에 따라 Ad Hoc 네트워크기술과 Clustering 기술을 사용하였다. 또한 제안된 기술의 안정된 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 HeartBeat 기술을 활용한 시스템 모델을 제안한다.

  • 상수관망이 노후화됨에 따라 파괴나 누수와 같은 운영상의 문제가 빈번하게 발생한다. 따라서 상수관망의 상태를 보다 정확히 파악하여 운영할 경우 안정적인 상수관망의 운영이 가능할 것이며 관파괴와 같은 돌발적인 사태의 피해를 최소화 할 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 상수관망의 실시간 모니터링 센서중 대표적인 online 압력계를 모든 지점에 설치할 경우 과다한 초기투자 비용이 소요되며 시스템의 유지관리 측면에서도 적절하지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 상수관망의 실시간 모니터링을 위한 적정한 규모의 online 압력계 설치위치의 결정 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 영향행렬지수(Effect Index Matrix)를 기반으로 하며 영향행렬지수내 column search를 수행하여 online 압력계의 위치를 선정한다. 제안된 방법을 미국의 Cherry Hill 상수관망에 적용하여 적용성을 검증하였다.

Multimedia Service Scheduling Algorithm for OFDMA Downlink (OFDMA 다운링크를 위한 멀티미디어 서비스 스케줄링 알고리즘)

  • This paper proposes a scheduling algorithm for efficiently processing multimedia pakcet services in OFDMA physical system of the future broadband wireless access networks. The scheduling algorithm uses wireless channel state estimation, and allocates transmission rates after deciding transmission ordering based on class and priority policy. As the result, the proposed scheduling algorithm offers maximum throughput and minimum jitter for realtime services, and fairness for non-realtime services. In simulation study, the proposed algorithm proves superior performances than traditional round robin method.

  • There are some problems to implement a realtime network system with Ethernet because the MAC(Medium Access Control) of Ethernet uses a CSMA/CD protocol, which introduces unexpected delays. In this paper, we designed a method to solve problems due to the Ethernet MAC. This method introduces a pseudo-MAC in application layer to support the real-time feature. So the presented method doesn´t need any modifications of protocols such as UDP/IP/MAC. The presented pseudo-MAC is based on both a token passing protocol and a publisher-subscriber protocol. The suggested realtime protocol is implemented and tested practically in a local area network. The proposed real-time network consists of a token controller node and general nodes.

  • 본 논문은 철도 건널목(교차로)에서 발생하는 차량, 보행자 및 야생 동물 사고 등의 상황에서 발생하는 위험 요소를 설정하고 철도 건널목(교차로)의 운행상황을 확인할 수 있도록 모형 철도 주변에 유형별 센서들을 설치하고 데이터를 인지하여 시스템에 저장하고, 유효한 데이터 분석을 통해 Orange3 머신러닝 기법을 적용한다. 철도 건널목에 관련된 이미지 중 위험인자로서 차량, 보행자 및 야생동물등의 객체를 감지하고 데이터를 수집하여 활용한다. 또한 이러한 데이터들은 이용자 상황에 맞는 철도 데이터 운영 시스템으로 적용할 수 있도록 위험 예측 시스템을 제안한다.

  • This paper describes about the development of the 3 Dimensional interactive physics experiment system using virtual reality technologies. Until now, most of the computer aided education systems have adopted one-sided learning way which only shows or tells. It excludes students during learning processes. To solve the problems of the one-sided learning way and to improve the educational productivity, the 3 Dimensional interactive physics experiment system is developed. The 3 Dimensional interactive physics experiment system introduced in this paper provides a new learning motivation for students and improves their educational effects through the 3 Dimensional graphics, realtime action, and realistic interactive experiment.

  • Suggesting the standard of optimal transferring for one RGV or two RGV, which have multiple buffers, using average delivery time and sigma in the straight line working place. For performing the optimal transferring, present RGV-Job Dispatching algorithm, which is possible to apply in realtime, and apply random job occurrence conditions for examining the possibility to apply various real environments.
